This exclusive feeling restaurant bar exudes a modern, luxurious atmosphere and offers authentic Spanish tapas at a premium price, making it a unique dining experience.
Whistler Village has many highly-rated restaurants, so choosing one can be the biggest challenge. We walked past Bar Oso a few times before taking a closer look. The bar is part of a larger restaurant group that owns several restaurants in The Village. We were looking for something different for dinner, and this fit the bill. Due to a concert nearby, traffic was light, which worked in our favor. They don't just have small bites; they also have small tables, and it's a small restaurant. If you want a. table, I recommend reservations; otherwise, you can sit at the bar or counter, which is pleasant. The bar itself is backlit onyx and is the centerpiece of the restaurant. The front wall has windows that open onto the Village stroll for those who like to people-watch. The staff is courteous and well-versed in the menu, which can be confusing if you're unfamiliar with Spanish tapas.
It is a nice departure from all the steak, seafood, burgers, and pizza that, while excellent, can get dull.
