⚠️⛔️ The owner of this bar does not care about you ⛔️⚠️
I visited Bar Siena while flying from Chicago O’Hare, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. First, I had to endure a long wait to get seated because the place was severely understaffed. After finally securing a spot, I was left unattended for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, guests who arrived after me were already served drinks. It felt quite offensive and frustrating. When I asked a server about my order, his excuse was, “I thought my other colleague took your order.” Do they not coordinate or communicate at all?
When I finally managed to place my order, I requested a beer and a pizza. After waiting another 7-8 minutes, the server came back and mentioned that they were changing the beer tap, so the beer would take longer. The pizza itself was tasty but severely lacking in chicken, which was clearly listed as part of the dish on the menu.
As I sat there, I took the time to read reviews online, and to my surprise (or perhaps not), I found countless complaints about the same issues: rude behavior from staff, long wait times, and general neglect of customers. I experienced all of these firsthand, and it’s evident that management does nothing to address these concerns. They don’t seem to care about training their team, motivating staff, or improving service—despite the flood of negative reviews.
The ignorance from staff and management alike is appalling, and if you value timely, respectful service, I’d strongly recommend steering clear of Bar Siena.
