The 10 Best Pintxos In San Sebastián’s Old Town - San Sebastián - The Infatuation

"There’s a TV to watch La Liga at this bar, but sports aren’t why you come here—it’s the wide variety of cold and hot pintxos that range from simple to noticeably gourmet. The bartenders fill rows of glasses with fizzy cider as you point out what delicious thing on the bar you’d like first. The gildas with a triple briny punch of olives, pickled peppers, and anchovies are the perfect salty bite to kick off a meal before you migrate to the warm dishes, which are the most impressive things that hit the counter. The txangurro al horno is perfect for sharing and comes as a sweet, creamy crab bake served inside its shell. And no visit to Bar Sport is complete without trying the grilled foie gras with a smoky char, sprinkling of rock salt, and a shiny coat of olive oil." - sylvio martins

The Best Pintxos in San Sebastián

"A classic, no-fuss pintxo bar where standing at the counter and choosing your own adventure is part of the charm; the standard Gilda is typically served on a slice of bread and pairs well with other bar staples like tortilla, uni cream in the shell, and a small slab of foie gras. Open seven days a week from late breakfast until midnight, it’s a reliably lively spot to start a long snacking session." - Olivia McDowell

The Best Things to Do in San Sebastián

"One popular route starts at Borda Berri before wandering down the street for pitstops at Bar Sport (order the txangurro, or crab) and Txepetxa."

Google
Bar Sport in San Sebastián completely stole my heart. The food was so insanely good that I actually came back three times. The crepes, the tempura, the bocadillos honestly, everything was just delicious. There’s something so comforting about this place… great food, great vibe, and it just made me happy every time I walked in. Truly one of my favourite spots in the city

Urchin soup 5/5 Spider Crab tortilla 5/5 Anchovy Cream cheese 3.5/5 This place is highly rated and recommended for a good reason. They could use a bit of a renovation but never the less, enjoyed this place. A MUST when visiting San Sebastian. servers were pleasant and friendly. Food served warm (UNlike at ❌Casa Vergara❌ 🤭where food is served C O L D - Literally & figuratively)

I love this place. Some of the best bites of the year here. Highly recommend the pictured pork sandwich, insane flavor. But the real star is the foie gras, one of the best bites of food I’ve ever had in my entire life. The vermut was also really special and the waiters are incredible. Quite cheap too for what you get, 4 dishes and a drink for around €20

I visited first time of old town restaurant. Other customers also posted, every dishes very tasty and fresh! I try uchin cream, fois grais, mini Berger of beef. I recommend firstly order hot dish, then choice from show case.

Google
Flight your way to the bar and you're guaranteed some terrific bites. The attentive, multitasking staff behind the counter hustles to bring out highlights including the mini hamburger, crab-stuffed crepe, and bacon-wrapped chorizo. Loved the it

I could say, with no hesitation, that this could be the best pintxos bar in San Sebastian. Everything here is delicious, regardless of what you're craving. The downside? It's expensive. But worth it.
