Chill, relaxing vibes with a welcoming staff and delicious food. We got to soak up one of the last warm evenings of the season, and even though it's nestled in the middle of busy NYC buildings, the terrace felt like a peaceful escape--giving off vibrant coastal Italy vibes. The lively atmosphere, with hotel guests enjoying social hour, made it feel like a hidden gem.
We mostly came for drinks but couldn't resist trying the avocado crostini with uni on top. Though the portion was small, it made for a light and tasty bar bite. I do wish there were more non-raw options on the menu so I could enjoy it more. Definitely tempted to try the pasta next time.
We arrived around 5:30pm, just in time to catch the breathtaking sunset. The open flow between the bar and terrace was inviting and gorgeously designed, giving off lounge vibes rather than a formal dinner setting. After sunset, they dimmed the lights, but my friends and I thought it might've been even prettier if they'd kept the space a bit brighter.
The entrance is on 48th Street, and you'll need an ID to get in. Once inside, you take the elevator to the top floor.
