My ears have never heard such quality sounds, I felt like a baby discovering music for the first time.
The negative reviews are for smoking, being asked to be quiet, racist staff... I smoke, so that's a bonus for me.
When people are loud, it's a distraction from the music. I prefer a quiet place when listening to good music instead of a rowdy bar where people are yelling.
The staff were GREAT to me, I made an attempt to speak Japanese, and they appreciated my efforts. I drank Japanese whiskey per the bartenders recommendations, and the snacks were classic Japanese snacks that I really enjoyed.
You have to understand this place is unique. It's unlike most bars and offers something special. If you're looking for cheap beers, rowdy drunk people, and Top 40 Pop music - this place isn't for you.
