Inside Bar Tutto, Joe Flamm’s New Fulton Market All-Day Italian Cafe | Eater Chicago

"An all-day Italian-inspired cafe and restaurant on the ground floor of a new Fulton Market high-rise, this neighborhood-minded spot starts early with Caffé Umbria coffee, classic pastries like chocolate-filled bombolini, pistachio cornetti, and sfogliatelle, plus egg sandwiches that might include culatello or house prosciutto; lunch brings aperitivi of cured meats and cheeses with housemade mozzarella, seasonal crostini, panini stuffed with porchetta or mortadella (and a spinach-and-artichoke option), traditional soups such as tortellini en brodo and Tuscan white bean, and a substantial kale salad with smoked grilled chicken thighs, farro, and grapes in a creamy Pecorino dressing; by dinner, a custom wood-fired grill anchors heartier plates like grilled dorade with fennel salsa verde, pork collar with peaches and polenta, and a bavette steak marinated in red wine and herbs with peperonata, alongside pastas including rigatoni pesto and fusilli with guanciale and Pecorino. Drinks lean Italian with spritz riffs and Aperol- and Campari-forward cocktails plus an Old World–leaning wine list, while the cozy room—exposed brick, vintage rugs, walnut millwork—seats about 100 (16 at the bar) around an open kitchen; the aim is an inclusive, hangout-friendly neighborhood spot that filters classic Italian cafe culture through Midwest ingredients." - Lisa Shames

Bar Tutto - Review - Fulton Market - Chicago - The Infatuation

"The chef behind two of Chicago’s best pasta spots,Rose MaryandIl Carciofo, continues to expand their Fulton Market footprint with a new all-day cafe. In the mornings, Bar Tutto has pastries like maritozzi and gianduja cornetto along with breakfast wraps. For lunch and dinner, expect a variety of panini and entrees like pork collar with peaches and polenta. Of course, there’s also pasta, including bucatini in beef sugo and tortellini en brodo." - John Ringor

‘Top Chef’s’ Joe Flamm Opening Bar Tutto in Fulton Market | Eater Chicago

"Drawing from Italy’s wine bars, this Italian all-day cafe in Fulton Market will serve breakfast pastries and espresso in the morning and rotating salumi, pastas, and spritzes for lunch and dinner. The space features an open kitchen, a wood-fired grill, and a piazza-style outdoor patio, and it’s slated to open this winter under Top Chef alum Joe Flamm and Day Off Group." - Jeffy Mai

Bar Tutto is exactly what an all-day Italian café should be. Great food, warm and attentive service, and a fantastic location that makes it perfect for anything from a quick coffee to a relaxed meal. The menu is thoughtful and well executed—simple, honest Italian done right—while the staff makes you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you walk in. Add in the vibrant neighborhood setting and it’s a spot you’ll want to come back to again and again. Highly recommended. 🇮🇹🍝☕

From the moment you walk in, Bar Tutto’s ambiance strikes a lovely balance between warmth & elegance. It’s the kind of room that invites you to settle in and order one more glass of wine. The food is an explosion of flavor. The dishes are ALWAYS seasoned to perfection. On that note, if you are used to a bland palate, don’t bother visiting this culinary delight. For starters, the oysters were bright and acidic with the right balance of sweetness and smoke—-setting a clean, elegant tone for the meal. Next, the pastas are where Bar Tutto really flexes its muscles: bucatini with beef sugo punched our taste buds and had us amazed by the depth of flavor, rigatoni with a creamy Alfredo/ pepper sauce was absolutely delicious. For the mains, my favorites were prawns (the second time I’ve ordered them) which arrived beautifully cooked with a seasoned butter sauce that is hard to describe, & the pork shank that felt rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying without being heavy-handed. Then there was the cheesecake, which deserves its own moment. Simply put, it’s to die for. On our second visit, we had to order two pieces—one for us, and one for our son—-who was eagerly waiting at home. Service elevates the entire experience. Jared, our server, stood out immediately for his professional, friendly attention to detail and impressive wine knowledge. His guidance felt intuitive rather than scripted, enhancing the meal without ever intruding on it. Adding to the evening’s warmth was Chef Flamm himself, whose genuine welcome set the tone and reinforced the sense that Bar Tutto is a place run by people who truly care. Bar Tutto is already operating like a seasoned favorite with thoughtful food, standout service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to return. Fulton Market has a new must-visit, and my husband and I will put it on our list of special treats—-good people, good food and good energy.

We absolutely loved Bar Tutto. We had dinner and tried a few dishes. The chicken was a standout and actually one of the best meals I’ve had this year. We also loved the fries and garlic aioli. We tried the limeade and their take on a margarita and we enjoyed them so much! The vibes and atmosphere were lovely. You can tell how much thought went into the design of the space and every touch was intentional. Joe Flamm does it again! Can’t wait to go back for brunch.

So happily surprised at how much we all loved this new restaurant - ambiance, service, and food was all wonderful, especially for our group of 6. Shoutout to our server Jared and Chef stoped by our table to check-in, sending us a few desserts to try (all delicious but especially for the panna cotta!)Looking forward to going back to visit it their cafe-by-day

We visited Bar Tutto for brunch to celebrate my friend’s son’s birthday, and the experience was truly enjoyable from start to finish. The food was thoughtfully prepared, featuring creative and well-balanced flavor combinations, and the drinks were excellent — the mimosas were a personal favorite. The ambiance was outstanding, providing a warm and inviting space that made it a perfect spot to catch up, relax, and enjoy great food and drinks. The beautifully designed interior further enhanced the overall experience. I personally enjoyed The Hash, which is an absolute must-try and something I will definitely be coming back for. I also had the B2 Burger served with fries and garlic aioli, which was equally delicious and very satisfying. The menu offers wonderful variety, making it easy to find something for everyone. We were especially impressed by the exceptional customer service provided by Mardi and Taco. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring we had a memorable dining experience. Bar Tutto is a delightful place to spend time, and I look forward to returning for another visit.

Bar Tutto is a newly opened all-day dining spot in Fulton Market with a great setup for both café and restaurant vibes. I stopped by today just for a coffee and pastry, coffee was good but unfortunately they don’t have the Pistachio Bombolini I wanted to try today and the butter Croissant was just ok. The interior is beautifully decorated with a warm, welcoming ambience, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It feels like a perfect place for remote work during the day or hanging out with friend!

Yelp
This is from the person that's behind Rose Mary, BLVD Steakhouse and Il Carciofo. They serve B.B.L.D. (breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner). I had an Artichoke Panini. The staff and service are tuttoriffic.
