From the moment you walk in, Bar Tutto’s ambiance strikes a lovely balance between warmth & elegance. It’s the kind of room that invites you to settle in and order one more glass of wine.
The food is an explosion of flavor. The dishes are ALWAYS seasoned to perfection. On that note, if you are used to a bland palate, don’t bother visiting this culinary delight. For starters, the oysters were bright and acidic with the right balance of sweetness and smoke—-setting a clean, elegant tone for the meal. Next, the pastas are where Bar Tutto really flexes its muscles: bucatini with beef sugo punched our taste buds and had us amazed by the depth of flavor, rigatoni with a creamy Alfredo/ pepper sauce was absolutely delicious. For the mains, my favorites were prawns (the second time I’ve ordered them) which arrived beautifully cooked with a seasoned butter sauce that is hard to describe, & the pork shank that felt rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying without being heavy-handed.
Then there was the cheesecake, which deserves its own moment. Simply put, it’s to die for. On our second visit, we had to order two pieces—one for us, and one for our son—-who was eagerly waiting at home.
Service elevates the entire experience. Jared, our server, stood out immediately for his professional, friendly attention to detail and impressive wine knowledge. His guidance felt intuitive rather than scripted, enhancing the meal without ever intruding on it. Adding to the evening’s warmth was Chef Flamm himself, whose genuine welcome set the tone and reinforced the sense that Bar Tutto is a place run by people who truly care.
Bar Tutto is already operating like a seasoned favorite with thoughtful food, standout service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to return. Fulton Market has a new must-visit, and my husband and I will put it on our list of special treats—-good people, good food and good energy.
