Best cocktail bar ever! A must-visit in Bangkok. The menu is incredibly fun and cleverly designed to mimic a fine-dining experience, with courses like a starter, main, and dessert. Everything I ordered was playful yet well balanced — unlike some places that focus on being “fun” but end up with strange flavours. I really enjoyed my time here. Left feeling very happy.

Bar US is easily one of the best bars in the world, but my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. Their menu concept is brilliant: you start at the letter “B” and end with “S”, mirroring the name of the bar. Each drink is part of a journey through the alphabet, and the menu really does tell a story. Some of the drinks even taste like food in a very intentional, thoughtful way, which makes the whole experience unique and memorable. Unfortunately, the night I visited didn’t go perfectly. They closed at 2, so we had to stop at the letter “R” and couldn’t complete the entire menu. On top of that, they were out of a few drinks, including Yellow Mango ylang ylang, which was a disappointment since I had been looking forward to trying it. At first, we were seated in a corner, and from there I had trouble really connecting with the bar and the bartenders. It was hard to fully pay attention to what was happening behind the bar or immerse myself in the experience the way I’d hoped. Midway through our visit, though, they moved us to better seating, and that change made a big difference. I appreciated that, and it definitely improved the rest of the night. Here’s how I felt about the drinks I did get to try: Melon + White Champaca + Coconut Even before taking a sip, the white champaca aroma hit me—in the best way possible. The CO₂ in the drink seemed to lift the scent, making it more intense and inviting. The floral notes were pronounced, and the drink left a sweet aftertaste that blended nicely with the gentle lingering bitterness of the Mancino Vermouth Secco. The coconut water was subtle but present, adding a soft roundness, while the melon tied everything together and balanced the profile beautifully. Overall, it was a clean, warm, and welcoming drink. The aroma alone woke me up and pulled me into the experience. Black Rice + Miso Here, the distilled miso was absolutely the standout. It left a lingering bitter note that stayed on the palate, in a way that was intriguing rather than off-putting. The drink also had a tart, tangy edge that made it feel bold and distinctive. It’s the kind of drink you keep thinking about after you finish it. Mango Skin + Marigold + Turmeric In this one, the mango was undeniably the star. The drink was full of flavor, with a pleasing aroma and a balance that really surprised me. The combination of mango skin, marigold, and turmeric worked incredibly well, and the drink exceeded my expectations in every way. It felt like a complete, thoughtful composition rather than just a “mango-forward” drink. Overall, Bar US still feels like a special place with a truly creative concept and some outstanding drinks. While I was disappointed by the early closing, the initial corner seating, and a few menu items being unavailable, the quality of the drinks and the eventual better seating reminded me why this bar is considered one of the best. I’d absolutely come back—hopefully next time I’ll make it all the way from B to S.

I think about the drinks I’ve had here all the time. We first came to Bar Us in October 2025 and had probably the best drinks of our lives so far. The drinks were beautifully balanced in flavour, and mind-blowing how they incorporated the flavours of the dishes they represented into the drinks. The most memorable drink by far was the Thai milk tea inspired drink! The atmosphere is so vibey too! For the number 4 Asia’s Top 50 bar, this place feels very grounded, authentic and humble. Wishing the best to the team at Bar Us!

Fantastic experience! We were a group of 5 and indicated on the reservation that we are tourists. They took care of us really well. They sat us right beside the bartenders so we really got a nice view of the drinks being made. They’re very accommodating and explained each drink to us. Even gave us free shots so we can try different things. Would say their most interesting stuff are from the Mains and After sections. Ramen, Tom Yam, and Soba Highball were some of the favorites. On the sweeter side, Thai Tea Punch, Sesame Cheese, and Fig+Sour were the top picks. Watched our friendly bartender do about 6 Tiramisus in the 2.5hrs we were there so we ended up asking him what drinks he would like to make more of but no one orders: Tobacco Vieux Carre and Eucalyptus Bee's Knees! They were both fantastic and perfect to end the night. Certainly deserved all those Best Bars and Tatler distinctions. Who it’s for: Thrill seekers and cocktail enjoyers Who it’s not for: Plain hard liquor drinkers, everything here is flavored There’s only one kind of bar chow (skinny potato crisps), they’re free and unlimited. Do not come here hungry. Despite the subtle flavors, make no mistake they have some strong stuff in there.

Came here a few times and really enjoyed it. They have a very unique selection of cocktails and a great vibe. People here are super nice and seem really passionate about what they do. We sat in front of the bar and watched them making drinks nonstop all night. It was impressive. I tried cocktails I can’t find back home, and they were delicious. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but worth it at least once for the experience

One of my favorite bar to visit in BKK. We didn’t make reservation but was able to get a seat on busy holiday. They made very interesting infuse cocktail with interesting concept like restaurant. I personally like savory cocktail so this is the right place for me. I order mocktail for my bf as he does not drink. They have only 2 option for mocktail but both taste good (Thai tea and pena colada)
