18 Oldest Restaurants in Charleston Worth a Visit

"Italian restaurant Fulton Five is consistently voted "Most Romantic" year after year. The slightly hidden entrance and intimate interiors of the restaurant (built in 1991) are a hit with locals and couples looking for a quiet date night." - Erin Perkins

Stellar lunch spot!!! We stopped by here on a recommendation and i’m so glad we did! We had a bit of a small wait but it was no issue- we shopped around at nearby stores. We sat at the bar (which is stunning by the way) and had great service. I tried a few oysters (delicious) and we got the calamari to start. May have been some of the freshest calamari I’ve had in my life (and I grew up on the coast of NC). Very impressed. Also tried the crab roll and that was great as well!! Can’t emphasize enough how great their cocktails were. We both tried a few and even had to ask for the recipe for one of them! Definitely a spot you want to try!

The Hungry Detective and Special Agent Deirdre had a fabulous afternoon experience downtown after the Van Gogh/Monet exhibit. The Food: We started with some top shelf blonde oysters from the PEI area. The calamari was cooked just right in a light and fresh coating. Brandon our bartender recommended the market fish (grouper) that was served over couscous and cooked to perfection. Enjoyed a bottle of bubbles “Haton” that was good tasting, crisp and clean. Atmosphere: Super cool vibe and awesome second level bar area…this spot was the old “Fulton Five” with a totally new vibe!!! We had awesome seats in front of the raw bar and love seeing all the action!!! SERVICE: Brandon was spot on with suggestions and knows his way around the menu. VERDICT: Guilty as sin for doing it all right…can’t wait to return for the lamb skewers and fried mushrooms!!!

Google
This is a great spot if you’re waiting to dine at their sister restaurant. Unfortunately, I booked a reservation on Resy, thinking they had actually opened another proper restaurant. I thought it was a little odd that there were so many open tables. But it’s because the food menu is very limited, since this place is mainly used as a bar for people waiting to dine at 167Raw. The food was very good! We had a wonderful seafood pasta and a burger. We had the calamari as well and it was just your basic calamari. Nothing to get excited about. It was our only night in the city, since we were in town to spend the week at IOP. And I usually love trying a new, fine dining establishment when we’re in town. But I’ve always been a huge 167 fan and got so excited that they had a new spot. A bit bummed that it wasn’t a full restaurant. But our server was great! And the food was very good.

Google
Great service, our host was delightful (sorry that I don't remember her name). We sat on the second floor, the ambience and the food was better than we expected. It's expensive but worth it. And the Chocolate tihini mousse, so divine

Google
Popular place, but great for nicely crafted cocktails and fresh seafood. The cocktails came out nice and fast, and so did the raw seafood dishes. I was really impressed with the size of the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail. I thought the flavors in the dishes were fun and often nice and citrus forward. Really cute spot!

We made a reservation for my best friend’s bachelorette trip. The oysters, cocktails and service were AMAZING! Truffle fries are also a great choice!

Google
This place is pretty great. The atmosphere was really nice and the staff is really friendly. Stopped at the restaurant but had a long wait so we were told to try their bar around the corner for drinks and oysters. I so happy we did. I got the fools gold cocktail which was delicious, oysters, and the caviar roll. I didn’t order food but it looked good at the table next to us. I will definitely return on my next visit to Charleston.

Google
Wonderful experience, we tried to go to the original but the wait was 3 hours so we stumbled upon their sister location. The ambiance was amazing giving Greece vibes/ mama Mia: drinks food and oysters amazing!!!

Yelp
I could eat here every single day. The service is top tier, everyone is so helpful and happy. I love their wine selection and I haven't even started on the food. Raw 167 can have a bit more of a wait but this is a great option if you want a more casual environment but same great quality. The oysters are always a great choice and the watermelon salad is a 10/10. I have yet to have an experience here that didn't leave me wanting to come back for more.

Yelp
Unfortunately we were all super disappointed by our experience this evening. Started with an hour wait and mediocre service once we got in. Something wrong with every part of our dishes. The calamari was good but super salty. The house made linguine didn't have much crab at all, but flavors were tasty. The bucatini was just every weird. It was very underdone, and no it wasn't even al dente, and the pine nut taste lasted in my mouth the rest of the night. The worst part of the meal was the fish of the day which was a pesto halibut that was pan seared. It was severely overcooked and lacked any flavor. The potatoes were covered in cumin and not in a good way. Maybe we messed up by not trying any oysters or drinks but I definitely wouldn't go back for any of these things.

Yelp
This place was just okay. Although everything was presented very beautifully, the flavors were just eh. I've had worse and I've had better. I also thought it was a little pricey. Location was slightly off the beaten path and we had to walk a bit from where we parked. The drinks were decent. Place was pretty busy. The servers were not as attentive as we needed. I sat for a while without silverware with my food down in front of me. My mushrooms tasted pretty good at first (they're technically not vegan because they have honey), but then my stomach got turned off because there was some raw batter inside with some of the mushrooms, so I ended up not finishing my plate. I did tell the server. No one apologized nor did they take it off the bill. I also got the fattoush salad. I wanted to love it, but it was just a salad with too many croutons. I did appreciate that there was a vegan option though. The restaurant itself was cute and cozy. Probably won't ever be back though, as there's just too many fantastic options around. Separately, this was an anniversary meal. When I made my reservation, I mentioned that and they did provide a nice card when we sat down at the table.

Yelp
Love this spot!! Actually one of my favorites in Charleston. Drinks are amazing and the food is fresh, light and delicious!! The vibe inside is great for friends or a date night. Services is spot on as well! Overall, highly recommend stopping in!!

Yelp
4.5 Stars I had dinner here on a Monday evening, and was seated right away at the bar. The menu is a fusion of seafood and Mediterranean items. The Salt Cured Beet Salad ($16) was bright and beautiful and had a Mediterranean flair (fried cumin and tahini dressing - very nice combination of flavors). The Crab Roll ($30) was LOADED with fresh crab on a buttery brioche roll. I wish the chips the better - or maybe it was good that they weren't or else I would have eaten them all lol. The presentation of everything was gorgeous. Staff was lovely and the interior is stunning - breezy, South Carolina island vibes.

Yelp
We were so confused about which 167 we should go to but realized there are 3 different locations/versions that offer different food. We started with Bar 167 - the food was SOOOO good here. The caviar and oysters were so fresh, we enjoyed every bit of it. The mezze platter was got was filling and so flavorful. There was a 20 min wait but got seated quickly and service was great. It was busy but so lively. Would definitely come back - dream about this place often

Yelp
Being somewhat still full from lunch this was a great place for a light dinner. The SPANISH OCTOPUS - Chorizo & sofrito potatoes, kalamata purée, herb salad was amazing, as was the WAGYU CARPACCIO - Gremolota, cured egg yolk, candied walnuts, shallot, thai basil. The table also shared the MEZE PLATTER - Rotating cheese, hummus, whipped tzatziki feta, pita, house marinated olives, raw honeycomb which was great too. Service was outstanding and the place itself feels like a hidden getaway. Coming in the entrance and snaking around to the main dining area, you are still open to the outside air, and it seems like there is an upstairs area too.

Yelp
I have to give Bar 167 Five stars. My husband had the special, seared scallops. I had the halibut fish sandwich, both were delicious! Best fish sandwich I ever had. I highly recommend. Tyler, our waiter was awesome! A bit pricey, but worth the money.

Yelp
Bar167 is an excellent spot for a light dinner and drinks! The bartenders have always given great recommendations, and their oysters are some of my favorites in town. It is pretty expensive for what you get for your money, but overall, I love bringing people who come to Charleston to visit to Bar167! (Make sure to get a caviar cone!!)
google avatar

Autumn C.

Yelp
I had most likely the best drink I've ever had in my life here. The tzatziki cocktail piqued my interest with dill, cucumber infused vodka, and the fact that it was clear but "milk based". It exceeded my expectations- I could not taste the vodka whatsoever. It tasted like an elevated cucumber water. The ambience in here is also so nice. The bar is beautiful and so bright. Servers were awesome! Their happy hour menu is one of my new favorites and it is from 3-5:30. True happy hour time in my opinion! I'm interested in trying the caviar cone next time I go which is caviar stuffed in a waffle cone!

Yelp
Yum Yum Yum! When we first came into bar 167 I was a little skeptical looking at the menu as it was a little light. We ended up doing shared plates starting off with the seafood crudo then fungi fritti and finishing with housemate bucatini. The Crudo was so delicious and so well seasoned. I could have stopped there! The fried mushrooms were very large and the batter was a little sweet. We equated it to having funnel cake, fried mushrooms. It sounds weird, but it actually went together quite well. The Bucatini was delicious with small sea scallops, that didn't make the dish chewy but gave it that seafood pop. The atmosphere at the upstairs bar was so fun and the bar top is made of lit up seashells. The bartenders are very chatty and overall I would come here again. The location is not as easy to find as it is in an alleyway, but worth the parking down the street and walk over

Yelp
We went to 167 the restaurant for lunch without a reservation and they quoted us a 1.5 hour wait, so we went around the corner to Bar167. We were immediately taken to a high top table to wait for a regular table. It was only about 20 minutes before we were seated... Not bad! We ordered a little bit of everything from the menu: a dozen oysters, the calamari, crab claws, ahi tuna, scallops, and the ahi rice dish. OMG everything was delicious!! The calamari tasted like it was covered in cheese it's... so yummy! We will absolutely be back next time we are in Charleston!

Yelp
In a very busy city you get parched whilst strolling around. People are overflowing out establishment doors making your exhaustion even more desperate. We were lucky to get invited in and ushered to a table. I have never had orange wine previously and was so enchanted by the sound of it. Excellent! It was perfect. Service was golden. Good vibe in here also.

Yelp
Enjoy the ambiance, come for the food, stay for the drinks, and maybe forget about the service for a bit. In all fairness I came here on a hot Saturday to one of those monstrous lines that makes most people think twice. Not me tho! I figured I was quite hungry, but I was more tired than anything and the King Street crowds deterred me from wanting to look further. The hostesses regarded me with ambivalence but upon finding I was a party of one took me to the bar and had me sit at the far end. No complaints as I like the end. The bartender that served me was having an off day. She struck me as someone who could have used some TLC over working because her spirit wasn't in it. She had to force a smile that would quickly fade, keep her eyes downcast, engage minimally, and sigh often. There was an ambiance that some event took the wind out of her but no amount of empathy relaxed her even an iota. The drinks were very good. They had unique, fun cocktails with flavor profiles I don't often see. Where Bar167 really shines is the food. I ordered the arroz con negro and wow! The rice was crunchy and sticky making a perfect companion to the delicious tuna. The mustard added a nice kick. I loved it! I also ordered the oysters, which like always was super good. Can't go wrong with oysters at a 167 location!

Yelp
Love the ambience and the location of Bar 167. The service is swift and the staff are willing to please. I had a little trouble with the food however. I ordered the Caesar salad with "grilled" chicken. There were some brown old pieces amidst the mix and was an immediate sign to me that things were not going to go well....Then the chicken~ presentation and taste not very appealing. The sliced chicken was served as cold slices! Oh no! But the good news is the kitchen is working on expanding their space and making some menu changes according to GM so that was good news! We Yelpers" need to express our comments and questions to the management of these food and beverage establishments - be it positive or negative - more times than not the management is willing to hear us and do what it takes to make some changes to the quality and appeal of their food. The menu is highlighted here and I have to report surrounding tables seemed please with their choices. The focaccia bread seemed to be a hit. As most of the items on the menu are cold, chilled or raw Bar 167 was really not my kind of place but I would recommend dining here. Around the corner on King Street is 167 Raw -their sister property - has more of a hot item menu of which I will try at a later date.

Yelp
Exquisite cocktails made by exceptional bartenders. One of the best places in Charleston, SC for cocktails. The bathroom is a noir film expose and the energy level both inside and out is high octane. Solid place for cocktails and conversation. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
This is one of the cutest bars in Charleston... loved the caviar cone and all of the specialty drinks are so tasty!

Yelp
So, we really wanted to go to their full restaurant but the wait was over 1.5 hours. So, we went around the corner to their bar and enjoyed their upstairs bar top service! What we got: funghi fritti, fried calamari and a caviar cone Food review: everything was wonderful! The caviar cone wasn't the favorite but worth the try and a fun twist on enjoying caviar (just too much creaminess for me, personally) What to know: the place is beautifully designed and service was lovely! The menu is smaller than the restaurant though.
google avatar

Yelp
The cutest restaurant with the tastiest food!! Came here for the first night of a bachelorette before everyone arrived and it was absolutely amazing! Waiter made the night so fun!

Yelp
I had my coworker in town and she wanted to check out 167 Raw. Even though it was a rainy weekday afternoon, I knew it was a longshot as she had a flight to catch, but we walked by to check the wait times anyway. It was two hours and we didn't have that kind of time so we opted to find something else. I mentioned Bar167 around the corner and let her know I hadn't been, but we could check it out. We popped in and got a table immediately. Considering there was no wait and you get a similar vibe inside, this was a no brainer. Now you won't get the lobster roll or tuna burger here, but the menu had fantastic options to choose from. We started with the funghi fritti to share and we both loved it. The mushrooms had this super light batter an the pistachio sauce worked so well with it. I don't remember what kind of mushrooms they had in at the time, but they were big like lions mane and very flavorful. I think my friend got one of the specials, but I can't remember because I was enamored with my scallop dish. The dish came with five scallops that were a good size too and they were cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed this dish and would absolutely order it again. I often times have friends who want to try 167 Raw because of it's acclaim (and Yelp rating). That being said, it can be a hassle when it's so busy and they don't take reservations. I'll definitely keep Bar167 in mind as a backup moving forward.

Yelp
I visited Charleston for the first time to celebrate one of my friends birthdays as well as my own bday. It was a lovely little get away honestly. I am from California so with me never visiting this part of the South before I was definitely nervous. But the food was fire and the places were pretty hospitable. This one in particular was special because it was so quaint and small, but the food was so delicious. We tried the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, Crispy Calamari and Fresh Foccacia! It was soooo delicious. The truffle butter with fresh foccacia was out of this world delicious! I ordered this Scallop Pasta and it was pretty amazing with the fresh Parmesan as well my friend had a parmeasean kale salad and it looked bomb! The oysters were briny and fresh. Since I'm in Atlanta and the oysters can be less fresh this was so tasty. I will definitely be back
google avatar

David A.

Yelp
Overall excellent No words can describe the ambience and seafood particularly the caviar cone

Yelp
Great food. Oysters were so clean. Had an amazing time. My favorite has always been the oyster shooters. 167 raw makes their own mignonette in house, so light and refreshing.
google avatar

Ali L.

Yelp
Stopped in here when we got told the wait for 167raw was over an hour. This place was fantastic. The staff is so friendly, the food was fantastic, and the drinks were amazing. The vibe is super chill and the bar itself is gorgeous

Yelp
Bar 167 is a super cute place! My friend and I had cocktails while waiting for a table at the bigger restaurant! It's super trendy and cool and the service was really good! The bartender and servers weren't familiar with my drink order and helped me find something super delicious! A tequila old fashioned!!! It's definitely a cute place to go!
google avatar

Isaac S.

Yelp
Oysters, Crab roll, Oysters. Great service at the bar, fun diversity of oysters, Mass and New Foundland this evening. Very simple mignonette, good horseradish. The crab roll is simple and doesn't overpower the flavor of the ocean. Clean, easy, delicious. Also enjoyed the suggested drink pairing for the food we ordered. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

Allyson K.

Yelp
Joined 3 friends for lunch April 11.2025. While we love, 167 Raw and their sushi bar on East Bay, our Bar167 lunch was close to being inedible. Our crab roll consisted of shredded crab in a gooey ton of mayonnaise (the main ingredient) with bits of something in the mix that tasted like cellophane and could not be chewed. The fried mushroom appetizer would have been delicious had not the red sauce on it tasted rancid. One person ordered the tuna dish which was deemed underwhelming -- and this person is a gourmet chef. The third dish was the beet salad, which was delicious. We will not waste our time or money here again.
google avatar

Ella B.

Yelp
Got to the restaurant and we were told an hour wait, we came back an hour later and then were told 30 min wait in which we waited and were still told to wait. We then were sent to a standing bar for another hour where we only got to order drinks. Never got to sit down at a table and get food even though we had been on the waitlist for well over 3 hours. Pretty disappointing. Hostess did not know what she was doing but they did comp us a shot?
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
In town visiting my son for his 21st birthday and came across this gem while walking on King Street. Been to the sister restaurants so we knew it would be good. Great energy and was packed for lunch. Everything we ordered was delicious and service was excellent. Will return.
google avatar

Claire S.

Yelp
Absolutely love the atmosphere here: the music is perfect and the bar top is absolutely beautiful. The service was solid; we started at an outside standing table and were quickly moved to indoor bar seats. The bartender whipped up some great drinks for my somewhat picky husband, and he was very knowledgeable about the menu. Food wise, the oysters and the crab roll were both outstanding and I would order again! The ahi tuna dish and the short rib also looked great, and if I return, I'd try those. My husband ordered the calamari, and the sauce was great, but it was a bit greasy for my liking. Overall, great spot for dinner and drinks.
google avatar

Anita J.

Yelp
Yum!! My boyfriend and I split the focaccia, crab roll, scallops, and lobster spaghetti. If you can, definitely save room for dessert because the baklava cheesecake was delicious too!! The cocktails were great too, we had the gold rush and taziki drinks. Service was friendly and helpful. It was easy to make a reservation too (which I highly recommend unless you don't mind sitting at the bar) Lastly, the music that was playing in the dining room was full of bops! Almost made you want to dance at the restaurant!

Cameron L.

Yelp
The food here was amazing! My sister and I got the Meze platter as an appetizer and the pita was cooked perfectly. Everything on the platter was very different and would accommodate to every eater. We got the jumbo lump crab roll and the cappalleti. The crab roll was delicious and the chips paired with it were to die for. Tip: put some of the extra crab roll on top of the chips. The cappalleti was one of the best pastas I've ever tried! It was combined perfectly. It left you full but not overly stuffed. Overall this place is definitely a must try if you're ever in Charleston!

Yelp
I was blown away by bar167 from start to finish! The service, food, decor, beverages were all 10/10! I came to bar167 on a Saturday for lunch right when they open (12pm). My friend and I were both so excited for our first time and wanted to try a little bit of everything. We got the caviar doughnut, caviar cone, and oysters as starters. All were absolutely delicious. The doughnuts were soft, pillowy, and warm. They had a fresh garlicky cream and then of course, caviar on top, a perfect salty finish. The caviar cone was similar but with a crisp, crunchy, salty cone, a parmesan cream and caviar on top. Two perfect bites. We had to get fresh oysters, and they were just delectable. Fresh out of the water, perfectly shucked with a homemade cocktail sauce and mignonette. Doesn't get better than that. For our main we shared the arroz con negro. A flawlessly dressed tuna tartare on top of a crispy black rice bed with a lemony aioli on top. Citrusy, creamy, crispy, fresh. What else could you want? This was perfect. Our second entree was the scallops, which was 5 exceptionally seared fresh diver scallops on top of a bed of slow cooked white beans. This dish was just as delicious, and we absolutely inhaled both meals. We were hoping for the baklava cheesecake to finish out the meal, but unfortunately they were out for the day, so I will have to come back for that one. Our drinks were their margarita, which was fresh and herby, their pepperoncini martini, which was very briny and strong, and their espresso martini, which was smooth and perfectly balanced. Overall this meal was a 10/10. Our bill came to a whopping $220, but it was worth every penny. Can't recommend it enough.

Yelp
Popped by for dinner and drinks after a show at the Riviera and will be back! It definitely got busy so be sure to grab a reservation if you can't go early. We snagged spots at the bar which was super cute. The waiter was quick and helpful. Everything we got was on point - the focaccia, crispy calamari, lobster pasta and short rib. Drinks were all great and nice size!
google avatar

Natasha B.

Yelp
This place did not disappoint. They may have a little menu )which I personally like) but don't get it confused it is packed with huge flavor! I definitely would come back again!

Yelp
Me: this is perfection Husband: the focaccia bread or the truffle butter?Me: all of the above. Trust me on this one- whether you are going for drinks or dinner, get the foccacia bread with truffle butter

Yelp
Stopped by here to kill some time before dinner reservations at their oyster bar. We were seated in the bar area at a table and grabbed some delicious cocktails. Spiced Manhattan and fool's gold drinks were spectacular! We loved both. Great ambiance and friendly staff.

Yelp
A Charleston Native visiting home, wanted to try a place I haven't visited downtown, and we chose the Bistro and Lounge of Bar167. It sits on a little side street with no parking. It is downtown Charleston after all. Either street parking or risk being towed because of private parking. It was a nice day so we ended up finding parking on Queen St. and walked over to the restaurant. It's a cute and small Bistro, boasting about 12-14 tables and a 4-5 top bar. We sat by the window with beautiful plants, although that caused the gnats to fly out to survey our food soon as it came. A slight inconvenience, but only slight. Our Server was Mark. Nothing bad to say about him! He provided recommendations and suggestions on what to stay away from, checked in on us frequently, and was very personable. For appetizers, we had the Calamari. It was a little chewy, but the sauce was delicious and saved the dish. We split a Caesar salad at the recommendation of our server, and the dressing was light like a vinaigrette rather than a thick, traditional Caesar dressing, and added chicken. For lunch, I had the fish of the day, which was tempura battered and fried, and was supposed to be served with mixed vegetables, but none accompanied the dish. The sauce that came with the dish was great and the fish wasn't overcooked. My aunt had the seared scallop dish and the scallops were great, but the bed of field peas, mushrooms and artichokes were less than appetizing. It tasted heavily like a chimichurri seasoning but to be fair, our server did say that dish wasn't a fan favorite. We had mocktails for drinks- the Apollo and the Hera. The Hera was tangy! It has hibiscus, rose, and pineapple, but it was refreshing. My aunt said the Apollo was good. For dessert, we had the Baklava Cheesecake, and it was the best part of the meal. The Baklava was light and flaky and the cheesecake was fluffy and delicious! Overall, pretty good dining experience, but wouldn't be a frequent guest.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try bar 167 for a long time but it's always busy when I try to go on the weekend which makes sense so we went on a Tuesday night and it was there's no wait we sat outside the hostess and the servers were so nice. We ordered the Citro spritz. It was very light and citrusy kind of and it's like an aperol spritz, but like different. we ordered the almond olives, honey and cheese plate because we weren't that hungry, but we definitely wanted to try something and it was the perfect amount. Honestly, we didn't even finish at all we had almonds slept over, but the almonds were the perfect amount saltiness and the olives were so good, like I could have a whole bunch of those to take home. The cheese was phenomenal, it was 36 month old cheese. The honey mixed in with the almonds was definitely the move. I would love to remake this plate just for a snack at home. It's so easy yet classy. I would highly recommend coming on a weeknight due to it always being busy. They give out cute postcards with the check and match books on your way out. I would bring my family here for a little drink and app. I would love to try their Taziki drink the server explained it and It sounded so interesting and fun. The outdoor area was so cute felt like I was in a whole different place. We parked archdale street but there's the target garage on king street to find parking.

Yelp
Went here for dinner last night. This place is top notch. Services is A1 all of the staff is very nice. They have a great waiting area for when your table is ready. Really cool vibe. The food is up the par with everything else that they have to offer. Not one bad thing on the menu. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Love the outdoor patio at Bar 167. The perfect spot to head to if 167 Raw is busy (it has some similar menu items.) Always love the focaccia and the stracciatella (always order both together) - and you can't go wrong ordering a dozen oysters, along with their crudo. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly. Highly suggest stopping in for an afternoon cocktail and a light bite!

Yelp
Very surprisingly great date night dinner location. Amazing drinks, exceptional food of lots of variety and reasonably priced considering how good it was. Highly recommend!

Yelp
What a treat! We randomly stopped in for a quick snack. What a delight. My first meal I had the mahi taco and guacamole. It was so fantastic, I brought my husband back the next day. This time opting for the lobster tostada. Service, drinks, food and ambiance are an A+!

Yelp
Best drink I've ever had! Oysters were fresh. My favorite food that we got were the fried mushrooms! Could eat here every day.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Friday afternoon for drinks while waiting for 167 Raw seating (they suggested we do so via text!). We arrived to an empty restaurant, but the hostesses played the whole give us your number and we will call you when the table is ready game. No sooner than I stepped two feet from them, they indicated that our table was ready. Why do restaurants do this? We arrive at the cocktail tables which are shaded and have fans blowing on them (nice touch!). Service was pretty slow as it took almost 30 minutes to get 4 cocktails (again, the restaurant was pretty empty). The cocktails were good, but overall I would not recommend this location for drinks. While associated with 167 Raw, the staff does not seem to have the same level of training.

Yelp
167 Raw and 167 Sushi have made quite the names for themselves in Charleston, I was excited to hear they were opening a cocktail bar. The vibes/atmosphere - 5/5. Think coastal, Mediterranean chic. The entryway was darling and bar was gorgeous. You can tell a lot of detail went into the design. Music was amazing they played four Rufus Du Sol songs while I was there. Love that they had pink pens, postcards with the check, and pink matches to grab on the way out. The food - 5/5. Flavor explosions in every bite. Plates were small but that was expected. Quality ingredients and thoughtful combinations. Drinks - 4/5. They were creative and beautiful but didn't blow me out of the water for being $15 cocktails. Service - 3/5 at best. We were the only people there at 5:15pm on a Monday. Our server attempted to take our menus before we even ordered to leave three of us with one menu (??). I asked her to go over the menu a bit with us and she seemed annoyed. The plates were listed with minimal description and had no indicator if they were meant to share or what. Once our food had arrived, we asked her again for details of what we were eating. With a small menu, it's not that hard to get the customers excited about the plates, especially with the quality ingredients they served. I'll be back for a cocktail if I'm in the area but am in no hurry, as I feel the service makes the experience. We weren't able to check out the upstairs patio due to the weather, so I'd come back for that too.

Yelp
Visiting Charleston and came upon this awesome seafood restaurant and bar. Kudos to Max and Robbie who were our shucker/bartender for great service! We had the Dennis Port MA oysters, shrimp cocktail..the tuna tartare and a Caesar salad. All delicious and light!
