Great round of golf and reasonable rates for the island. Friendly staff and cold beers too!

A bit badly maintained. The paths for carts are full of holes in the ground so you drive like on off roads tracks. This should be really fixed, for 183 EUR what I paid for 18 holes with clubs and cart I expected something more. In Austria where I live for this price you get top classes Golf Course. Driving Range looks like from '80. The net securing both sides is ragged as hell, looks like after the battle, looks like no one's give a shit. One day was built and it stays like this forever. Faraways are mostly wide so for beginners are very forgiving, greens are really green and nice. Besides those negatives mentioned earlier, I really enjoyed the time there. Maybe it's a different culture here that they don't maintain a lot of things, in my country service like this would be not acceptable and course like this would die very soon. Maybe here it is standard , don't know :) but one time during holiday to play new course I would say - go for it. But my feelings are mixed :) If you are from Europe - conditions can disappoint you.

Very rough fairways. Greens were decent, but fairways beat you to death in a cart. Cart path is not much better. Our golfing was in mid April and many tee boxes under repair, but that’s not a big deal. Actually praise them for making improvements. Just a disappointing course condition overall for the price. Also had $80 of club rentals per person. Not great clubs for $80. Old clubs. Dented woods and drivers. Incomplete and mismatched sets.

Great course. The General Manager is extremely nice. Only criticism is tee blocks could be more level and the ladies at the front desk aren’t very friendly and every time I go I seem to pay a different amount for some reason. Conditions of the greens are excellent and the course layout is fun.

Really a fun and challenging course to play (more so with breezy conditions)! Greens are in good shape. Ended up playing with a local (David) on the back nine that made the experience extra special.

We brought our clubs to Barbados, thinking that we are going to play several times. All the YouTube videos about Barbados golf mention three top golf courses to golf however what they failed to say was that two of the courses are private and can only be played if you’re staying at that resort. Luckily, the Barbados golf club was open to the public for us to golf. It is a decent course. we stopped on the turn, and had a nice lunch at the clubhouse.

Great experience. Greens are well kept and challenging fairways with loads of hazards. Weather is unbeatable of course.

Host - Reception, club borrowing was easy and friendly. Got 5 stars there. Driving Range - Don't forget to get/buy balls before going as it's a long drive (cart) to get there, and probably a decent walk down 18 Hole to get there. (it's right beside the 18 hole) - 2 star. Course - Maybe it's the time of year I went but the fairways are pretty beat (while you will find a few good spots) mainly it's brown-ish green. The rough is cut down pretty good (possibly cause it's dry) so not much penalty for being in the rough. Greens - I had the unfortunate time for when they laid sand all over all the greens, so it was like putting in firm wet sand (so hard to judge distance and read greens). We had about 6-8 holes that were fine but the rest were all sandy. Tee Box - These are ok, not the best. Bowl shape so its not always flat when you are tee-ing so you just need to get used to either feet below or above the ball. Price - You pay for what you get. It's the most cost effective golf on the island but coming from Toronto, these prices for golf are like for premium courses in Toronto. There are 3 other golf courses but they are out of my price range I'm willing to pay for 18 holes. Overall, I would come back to play when the conditions are better but I wouldn't plan a specific golf trip to Barbados. Also, ask your hotel to book it for you as you may receive a discount (I did).
