"Take to the links Barbados is one of a handful of Caribbean destinations that feature world-class golf. The PGA European Tour first sanctioned the Barbados Golf Club in Christ Church parish for a PGA Seniors Tournament in 2003. The Tom Fazio-designed Green Monkey course at the luxury Sandy Lane resort is carved from a limestone quarry within lush greens of varying elevations. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. the members-only Royal Westmoreland course maintains special arrangements with select hotels. The championship course at Apes Hill Club has been voted one of the best in the world."
