Dining here feels like you’re in Grandma's kitchen, and she’s cooking right in front of you, handing you whatever else you may need. I’m a big fan of their tortillas, they’re large and super filling. The owner took the time to talk to us and give us an inside scoop on her special weekend menu. The birria here is goat, not beef, so I had to skip, but the carne asada tacos are bomb, and so is the rice. Great neighborhood spot to just sit alone and enjoy your meal. BYOB and liquor store next door just don’t park in their lot, they will tow you.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is delicious. The Birria Egg rolls are so good definitely worth getting. The tacos and handmade tortillas are some of the best I’ve had. The quesabirria tacos are packed with meat and cheese. The sopes are huge. The enfrijoladas are nostalgic not many places have enfrijoladas. Honestly, I haven’t had anything bad here. Anything you get will be worth it. The sweet lady who takes care of you is a plus. The customer service is great. I’ve never had a bad experience with them. Definitely worth it!

This place has some of the best birria I’ve had in a while. The plate I got was so delicious and fulfilling. The staff was amazing, so welcoming and attentive even with the restaurant being so busy! PS: the tortillas hechas a manos were delicious!

I’ve tried birria tacos up and down the coast but these are easily the best birria tacos I’ve ever had! This place just gets them right, with crispiness and flavor; they definitely deserve more recognition. It’s also served with a generous portion of toppings and consommé. Can’t wait to come back!

Loved this spot ! Food was so fresh . Handmade tortillas ! The hospitality was so welcoming and attentive . All sauces are delicious . Definitely my go to spot. 2yr update : I just love this place , my other go to breakfast spot , something about the huevos con chorizo just hits so right ! The tortillas just hugs all the goodness like a blanket and it just brings you to a happy place ! I truly enjoy everything about this dish. 10/10 not your average store bought chorizo taste also not greasy , everything tastes homemade 💕

Came here because my son wanted birria and I was blown away by the food, atmosphere, and service! From hand made tortillas to delicious birria, I am happy to have found this place!!! We will definitely be back.

Waz in the mood for some good goat quesabirria and found this place. I wasn't a big fan of the quesabirrias in addition to finding a bone and the rice waz too salty. Perooo baby the birria egg rollz with the chili de arbol aioli and the horchata, ommmggggg they redeemed themselvez it waz tan deliciosa! I would definitely go back. The staff was friendly as well ezpecially cauze I almozt got my car towed trying to pick up my food by parking next door.

Omg yum! Had the Carne en su Jugo it was so good. Great flavor and alot of meat. The Quesabirrias are yummy, crunchy, and cheesy!

A hole in the wall that I will be coming back to. The flavors have a reminder of Mexico and has a family feel upon arriving. The service was great and they knew the needs of one and very attentive. The platillo de birria was a nicely portioned plate and the tortillas de mano kept coming.

Everyone was so nice and the food was so delicious. Best steak tacos in the area for sure.

Loved the steak tackle, steak soap, and steak quesadilla crispy. Delicious! I can't wait to go back probably once a month going forward

We tried almost everything on the menu and everything was delicious. The birria eggrolls were life changing. Family owned where it felt like you were visiting your tías house for some amazing food. The owner took the time to check on us and to ensure we liked everything. I can't wait to go back. The only disappointment was the fact it took us this long to find this gem.

My partner came one day during his lunch & he was shocked to find a birria spot that is really good... he definitely kept raving about it ... till I came with him during the weekend & I agree !! THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD ON THE NORTH SIDE. Hands down. There is a family and welcoming vibe when you walk in. Literally everything is delish and fresh, but my favs are the carne en su jugo and anything birria. They also made HOME MADE tortillas that come out hot and fresh. You will not be disappointed.

Fresh and delicious food. This is the best Birria I've had. This is a family-owned place and they treat their customers as if you are too. I work around the corner and they know me by name. They're so kind- definitely a small business to support!

Well..... Where do i start? The service? The food? Let's start with the place..... It is a small cozy place that it feels like your g-mas kitchen back in Mexico. Now, the food! By far the best birria i have had. Cooked just right. The goat is not gamey at all n the spices are added just right. Bring in the tortillas....hand made n done just right to scoop the broth. The service is beyond good. They are very accommodating and go to the max to make you feel welcomed. If you are a fan of real Mexican food give them a try. They have other dishes that are just simply great! They are NOT your normal taco/burrito joint.....and that is what sets them apart. It is a BYOB. I mean....who doesnt like a beer with their birria.

The Quesobirria was super delicious. The tortillas are literally handmade and fresh to order. I was impressed how attentive the staff was. Came with a couple of friends from out of town and I definitely think this place nailed a super delicious quesobirria. I will definitely come back. Found my new spot for birria!

By far the best Birria in the taste. You sit down and already greeted with hot fresh tortillas made right infront of you. The taste is out of this world. Definitely worth a try, or two!

Second time we dine in and La Barca never disappoints! I've had the platillo & libra de birria, love that both dishes come with the handmade tortillas! They have different types of hot sauce and my favorite is the red sauce that is kind of chunky so delicious! I tried the cafe de olla also one of my favorites! I love their seasonal desserts! Looking forward to coming back and bringing all my family so they can taste some authentic birria y su consume! Most importantly the service is phenomenal! So attentive & helpful if you do not know what to order!

Wow! First time here and can't wait to go back to Barca. Outstanding, flavorful birria - better than the old stand bys on the southwest side. Phenomenal carne en su jugo - I will order this again and again. Homemade tortillas that they keep filling you up on so you can get the while they're hot. A family business vibe where they are friendly but not overbearing. Afraid to reveal this secret to others but wish the owners nothing but success. Byob. Ridiculous bang for your buck. Don't go for the decor.

Love what has been done with this restaurant. Welcoming family run place with cozy counters and small tables surrounded by colorful paintings. Smoky, tender and flavorful goat birria was the star. Enjoyed the bacon and ribeye stew also. Lots of attention to details given to this delicious fresh homemade food.

Wonderful food and very friendly service. The owner was very attentive and made me feel right at home. You won't get better birria anywhere else.

Consomé is pure hot water no flavor,,,,, "birria" overpriced and tasteless. Wouldn't mind paying a good price if it was worth it as we know Burria prices are high. But this one not worth at all. First and last time.
