The Best Wine Bars in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"With two Atlanta locations on Howell Mill Road and in Inman Park and nearly 400 wines to choose from, the Connecticut-based chain is a popular spot for wine and for groups gathering to sip through the menu. While many of the wines listed center around Spain and Italy, expect to find impressive bottles from other regions, including South America (the 2022 Bodega Garzón, Reserva albariño is packed with salinity and freshness from one of the best producers in Uruguay — a steal for $50) and France. Pair the wines with plenty of tapas and dessert." - Beth McKibben

Barcelona Wine Bar - Westside Ironworks - Review - West Midtown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"The next time planning a big group dinner is causing premature wrinkles, head to Barcelona Wine Bar. They make planning a dinner for 10 almost simple with their set-price menu for bigger parties, along with some of our favorite sangria in the city. With a long list of tapas that are all under $15, it’s also a great date spot where you won’t have spend your whole paycheck to get a great meal. So now all you have to worry about is how many carafes you’re going to order, and scoring a spot on their patio. photo credit: Tom McGovern" - Sarah Bailey

Barcelona Wine Bar is next to the Interlock. They have valet parking, or you can park in the Interlock lot. We came here for dinner on Father’s Day. Toni took great care of us! Once we started ordering, the first round of food came out fast. The bacon-wrapped dates were superb; the sweet of the dates went well with the bacon. The whipped sheep’s cheese was also wonderful. It came with toasted bread and extra honey; Toni assured us we would run out of the honey drizzled on top before we finished the cheese, and she was right! The chicken thigh was also delicious, the Aji Amarillo paste has a kick to it. Actually everything was great. The worst thing I can say is that there was so much bread that we were stuffed when we were done. And since it was Father’s Day, a Toni brought a slice of Olive Oip cake on the house to celebrate me!

Let me start by saying, ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. I have visited the other location many times, but it was my experience last night that really made me fall in love with this establishment 100x’s more! I brought a friend visiting from Houston here for her first time and everything was the epitome of amazing guest satisfaction and furthermore how an establishment should be ran from someone who has been a waitress nearly a decade. The teamwork here was fantastic! We had 3 high spirited people throughout the duration of our visit stopping by making sure we had everything we needed. Firstly, was someone who was presumably bussing tables I believe (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) that got us water and assured us our waiter, Lee would be there shortly. Lee was our waiter’s name. He was very nice, professional, and personable as he recommended me the Gambas alongside my Steak P. which I loved! Both were so good when I received it I had to order it all over again! Allyse, who I initially thought was a host alongside Frances until expressing my gratitude at the end, was soooo so kind! She brought us entrees, pre-bused our table when finished with dishes, asked if I would’ve liked more wine when my glass was nearly empty and what I must say is the real embodiment of exactly who an Assistant General Manager should be! She was assisting everyone all over the floor so much I was appalled when she told me she was A.G.M. SHE NEEDS A RAISE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY FOR ALL HER EFFORTS! I loved every bit of our experience as I hope you can see through my lengthy review lol but well deserved! My friend already plans to visit the Houston location recommended by Allyse and I hope to soon be apart of this amazing establishment as I look extremely forward to applying! THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Bring a woman here if you want to impress her and she has good taste. The decor is superb and the flavors are delicious. Godly cocktail menu. Not one single miss on the tapas menu. Everything looks beautiful, tastes beautiful, and the kitchen works fast. My highlight was the tapas sized hanger steak it had so many good flavors layered on the perfectly tender beef

Google
We dined here Thursday evening and had an excellent experience! We were welcomed upon arrival and seated at an outdoor table to enjoy the gorgeous weather. Our servers provided great recommendations for our beverage selections and then recommended Tapas based on items that we were considering that would complement our beverage selection. The food choices were excellent, impaired beautifully with our wine. It was also a nice touch that managers came by to welcome us to Barcelona, and also check on us throughout our entire dining experience. Excellent service food and beverage selection made this unforgettable and wonderful dining experience . Can’t wait to go back.

Google
SO INCREDIBLE. Bring your out of town friends here - impeccable service, DELICIOUS food, unbeatable price and amazing atmosphere. An amazing selection of tapas and drinks. The waiters were so so friendly and attentive. The Chef even came out to apologize for the delay for the Paella. We loved everything we tried - especially the Patatas Bravas and truffle whipped sheep cheese. Still thinking about it !

Google
It was real nice to find seats on a very nice sunny, breezy day on a Friday. The food was great, especially meat balls and the desert, flan. Service is not handled by professionals. They don’t know the drinks or glasses. They are not cleaning the bar, looks disgusting. Something came out of my Armagnac, drank it trusting the alcohol content.

Very wonderful place! I had the opportunity of visiting this beautiful restaurant last night. I felt like I was back in spain… the food was amazing. Very flavorful! The workers were very professional and friendly. The manager is a delight. This is my new favorite spot. Would definitely recommend this spot.

Google
The bartenders here are trash.( oops let me take that back I ask for a good sparkling wine to finish my meal, he didnt seem to know and the other bar tender over heard and recommend a good one, enjoyed that) I've gone to Inman Park love them they are friendly and know how to sale drinks an food. Myself and guess had to beg to get taking care and once we decided to wait to see how long it would take for them to ask us to if we needed anything it was 15 or more after our drinks her drink was done. Mine you we have ordered 7 dishes and branzino and I have ordered 2 drinks at this time. This conversation is actually happening in reall time. We just had a shift change dont think anything with change . Food was great, ps Chef Eric keep Brussels on the menu. Love those. We love a great place to eat and drink an laugh won't be coming here . But Barcelona in Inman got us.

Yelp
We had a fabulous brunch here for my good friend. With reservations and for roughly $75 per person we enjoyed a variety of sangrias, delicious tapas, charcuterie, and brunch tastings as a group. Service was amazing from start to finish, and it wasn't too crazy packed on a Sunday afternoon which was surprising. Would recommend for any lively group seeking a gathering for brunch. Not to mention we were seated beautifully near the front large windows where light could gleam in and all staff were friendly.

Yelp
Had a recent celebration, so we decided to go to Barcelona Westside. We have been here many times since they opened, to include the first day that they opened. We had a family style salad, Spanish tortilla, paella, croquettes, and lots of bread/olive oil. As always, delicious. Oh, and don't forget Wine... Five stars all day...!!! We highly recommend

Yelp
I love tapas. If you invite me to tapas, I am going to want to try all of the tapas. I was in immediately. Parking was easy in a valet lot. Service was attentive. I was there for brunch and the restaurant was quiet but lively We started with three cheeses: aged Manchego, drunken goat, and Alisios. No complaints there. The tapas started coming to our table two dishes at a time: bacon wrapped dates beets with ricotta, pistachios, basil peach montadito potato tortilla gambas al ajillo spiced beef empanadas piquillo hummus Again, no complaints here. Perfect for sharing. All tasty and well thought out. There is nothing I would do differently. I only wish I could have tried more of the dishes. I would come back here to try dinner in a heartbeat.

Yelp
I came back here to give it another shot. Let me tell y'all this was well worth it!! When I got there, we still received amazing service from start to finish! This time though, we were instructed about how the menu worked and what things were on the menu. We went from not knowing what to get, to wanting quite a few things. There are some hidden gems on the menu that you might not know if you don't ask. But that's why I'm here to help you guys out. First, let's talk about the Parillada Barcelona. I actually ordered the medium sized which was said to serve about two people, and it was more like six people. A lot of food comes in this platter, you have your steak, you have your sausage, you have your chicken and you have your pork.( It was my favorite dish by far) . The steak was juicy and tender, but could use a little more seasoning. (My only regret was that I could barely eat any of it because I was so full already.) Next Let's dive into some of the tapas. The potato tortilla was delicious( I devoured it in about a minute delicious ) it almost reminded me of a twice baked potato. The sour cream achieve sauce was a great addition . I definitely recommend you try this! One of my favorite toppers was the spice beef empanada. I don't know if it was the sauce or if it was the breading or the meat itself, but that thing was mouth watering was mad when I finished. Now one of those hidden gyms was the Gambas Al Ajillo, which simply reminded me of a garlic shrimp scampi. It was seasoned to perfection and had amazing flavor. It was cooked very well. Overall, this second experience really blew my mind and it made for a great date night for myself and my wifeThis is my new restaurant in the interlock area!!! Every time I go to Putt Shack or to flight club and I need a meal, this is going to be my go to for my wine and a great meal . Another thing I love about this restaurant is that it has tapas, but they are not extremely expensive. It's very well priced for the quality of food that they serve. I would like to thank Nick for his amazing customer service and his team Rachel and so many others.this is an experience I'll never forget.

Yelp
Upon arrival, my friend and I were politely greeted by the General Manager, Nicolas. Although we had a reservation for 2pm, Nicolas suggested we take a seat at the bar, which was an amazing recommendation. I was lucky enough to have a friend who was a regular, so he knew exactly what to order for us. We started with some shots of JAJA and a Catalan cocktail. Our bartender Mo was super helpful, attentive and friendly, even with a packed bar. We ordered tapas to share: gambas al ajillo (grilled shrimp), Brussels sprouts, and the grilled chicken with the honey mustard tasting sauce. Everything was beyond delicious! The menu has something for everyone and the atmosphere of the restaurant was perfectly energetic. I'll absolutely be back! I've been to the Inman Park location but this one takes the cake for sure.

Yelp
Having had a delightful experience with takeout from Barcelona during the Covid era, I was eager to return for an in-person dining experience, especially since it was my husband's birthday. My excitement, however, soon turned into disappointment during our visit this past Saturday evening. We began our meal with high hopes, ordering a variety of tapas including lamb, shrimp, pork belly, and empanadas. These were delicious and reminiscent of the quality we remembered. Unfortunately, the positive aspects of our meal ended there. The trouble started with the main course. My husband ordered paella, a dish we knew from past experience would take about 45 minutes to prepare. We made sure to place this order right away. However, as time went on, it became clear that something was amiss. Our server, who seemed either new or still in training, had forgotten to put in the paella order. A manager eventually intervened and managed to get the paella to us within 15-20 minutes. Sadly, the rushed preparation was evident in the dish's quality. It lacked the rich flavors and careful execution we had previously enjoyed. Hoping to salvage some of the meal, we decided to take the paella home, only to throw it away later. While the restaurant did not charge us for the paella, the overall experience was disappointing, especially since it was a special occasion. My husband didn't get to enjoy the meal he had been looking forward to based on our prior visits. In summary, while Barcelona's tapas remain a highlight, the inconsistencies in service and the quality of the main dishes have left us hesitant to return. What was supposed to be a memorable birthday dinner turned into a night of unmet expectations.

Yelp
Tapas, wine, and cocktails...what more could you want? Every time I come, the food is always way better than I remember it...and I remember it being phenomenal. I recommend having a reservation. There is valet parking in the lot directly outside for $5, but there is also a deck right next to the building. If you want paella, order it early because it usually takes a little longer. When I come with a large group, we usually split up into groups of three-ish and order as small groups instead of trying to split things for the whole table.

Yelp
Coming to this restaurant was really exciting for me! I enjoy the valet service and I also enjoyed the decor, great wine list and great tasting Tapas! Our bread was dropped off hot and steamy!! The staff provided superior customer service and manager Ri were which is very professional and I also enjoyed the host

Yelp
Came here for my bros Birthday and had some of the best tapas. We ordered the Trout a la plancha, Gambas al ajillo, albondigas, asparagus, Paella Salvaje, and Sangria. Let me just say everything was on point. Tapas came out asap! Our waitress "Jade" did her thang! She wasn't even our server originally but she came to the rescue. Def had cool vibes from the start. Barcelona is a very nice and calm environment. I'll def be back again!

Yelp
My visit to Barcelona Westside left me somewhat disappointed. The food, to put it frankly, was just okay; nothing particularly outstanding. Unfortunately, the overall vibe of the place didn't sit well with me either. It lacked the charm or atmosphere I was hoping for, which left me with a less-than-ideal experience. I wish I could say more but I felt grossed out eating there and don't know if I will be back.

Yelp
Sorry I'm advance for the OK pictures haha. This place was pretty nice on the inside, it was so packed so I couldn't really admire everything. This place is definitely great for dates. Unfortunately my friend and I didn't LOVE the food. We started off with a couple of sangrias. I'm more of a sweet wine person and the sangrias were more on the bitter side. We then got our table and started with fried cauliflower and calamari. The fried cauliflower was really good! Definitely had a kick to it. The calamari was okay. We didn't think it had much flavor to it, but it was cooked well. The charcuterie board we ordered was okay as well. Didn't pair with anything we had so of anything to eat the cheese and salami with. Last we had steak, it had a great flavor and was cooked very well. We thought it came with different potatoes, but maybe we were confused.

Yelp
Back here for Mother's Day and it was just as delicious as last time. We were lucky enough to sit outside and it was a truly spectacular day. Comfy in the sun, with large umbrellas and a great breeze. Our server, Hope, was great. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and was helpful when she told us about her favorite dishes. We had a group of ten, including two children, and we all loved everything! We had the patatas bravas, mussels, chorizo with figs, albondigas, fried honey chicken, jamon and machengo croquettes, asparagus, spicy cauliflower, flan, and olive oil cake. There may have been more but that's all I remember. Every dish was absolutely delicious! Even the kiddos were happy! Make reservations and come with a group so you can try as many dishes as possible!

Yelp
We came back for dinner and drinks as it's nearby and the service was amazing. The managers were super nice and made sure our dinner went well! The food and drinks are always amazing here. We always love the starter bread as it goes with all of their tapas! For drinks, we ordered from their craft cocktails and every single one was great. I loved the black salt in the flor de sal as it was perfect with the sourness of the drink. The white sangria was also another table favorite. It was perfect for a warm day and with our dinner. All the desserts we had were also great. I especially loved the crunchiness of the flan. Can't wait to come here again!

Yelp
If you're looking for delicious charcuterie and tapas Barcelona Westside is THE place. I absolutely love the ability to grab little plates to try and share with friends and everything I've ever had here is delicious. They also offer larger plates that take about 45 minutes to an hour to come back but they're definitely worth the wait. We had the Chicken Pimientos last night and that sauce!!! I need the recipe! It can get a little loud inside sometimes but they have outdoor seating as well. The patio is so lovely, especially now that the weather is cooling off! I'd also recommend coming here on your birthday because they do a fun little birthday drink for you (reference the video) and they share it with the table! Tip: Valet Park! It's only $5 whereas the deck is $15 for 2 hours then an additional $5 for every hour you add on.

Yelp
I had been here many time pre-covid, but came in for th first time since last week for a double date with friends who had never been to any location. Everything was good. As I remembered. Our server was great for recommendations - very personable, not affected or trying to upsell an expensive drink. Saw that my first drink as a citrus infused gin & tonic and when I asked about something else he suggested something that would be more in line with my first drink in terms of flavor profil so it wouldn't be super jarring. I appreciated that. We ordered 10 plates. The portions were smaller than I remember them being before, but all very good. I recommend ordering in waves rather than placing a big order. We ran out of table space lol. They did forget to bring us one of our plates and we had to ask 4 times for it so when we did finally get it, it was kind of funny to get such a small plate so much later to split between 4 people (we assumed it was going to be comped as 4 reminders is a bit ridiculous but it wasn't) Highly recommend the Olive oil cake, squash & burrata, potatoes, and the spring salad with beats and feta. This was my first time sitting inside (at any location) and its a really cool atmosphere, huge bar area. I do prefer the outdoor seating but that's just me. It is, unsurprisingly, very loud on a Friday night. Fair warning. We were yelling across the table to hear each other.

Yelp
me and the roomie came for happy hour and had a hoot and holler of a time! the bartenders were super friendly and i loved the vibe of the bar area! to drink i started with their sparkling wine flight (incredible deal at $10) we got a few bites from the beef tartare which my roommate loved to the croquettes and also a meat and cheese spread. happy hour espresso martini was delicious!! i would come back again for sure. my roommate used to work in fine dining and was a little dissatisfied at the service, as they forgot to put an item in for us or had to come back to ask about our drink, but it didn't read rude to me. I'm pretty lax on that stuff, but wanted to share her perspective!
google avatar

Ivana S.

Yelp
Took mother in law for happy hour! The espresso martini was great and if you like dirty martinis the happy hour menu is fantastic. I wish there was maybe different drinks on there since the martinis seem more of an evening late night cocktails. We had ham and cheese croquettes and those were delicious as always. Order the mushrooms and sheeps cheese. Put the mushrooms on top- chefs kiss. Sooooo good together or separate. The only item we didnt like was the bacon wrapped dates. Whatever cheese they used on the bottom of the plate just overpowered our taste buds. I wouldve gone with something more subtle. You couldnt even taste the date the cheese took over! Great place with delicious tapas and drinks though! Valet is fantastic considering parking in this area can get super pricey.
google avatar

Milo L.

Yelp
it took 10 minutes after being seated for the waiter to greet us and the restaurant was only half full. The fried cod was translucent inside and undercooked. the seafood paella had rancid mussels and clams that looked and smelled like they've been dead a few days. Definitely not going back.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
I've been going to Barcelona for almost 4 years and have never been disappointed by the food. The menu is pretty extensive and changes periodically, which is nice if you frequent -- you can still get the staples you love while also trying new dishes! They can mark up the menu for me to show what's vegan or can be made vegan (sometimes I still have to ask questions, but we get to an answer quickly), and there are plenty of options so I'm not limited to just one or two things. They have fresh bread baked all throughout the day... to say it's UH-mazing is an understatement. I often fill up on the bread before my food even makes it to the table!! The service is usually great and on the occasion when it's not, it's still good. This location only has valet parking after 5pm. There is also a parking garage next door. The ambiance is perfect for date night. They turn the lights down around 5/6pm and light a candle on each table.

Robert R.

Yelp
We went to celebrate our 41st anniversary and they treated us like royalty. Special dessert, visits by the managers and excellent service. The seating was romantic, and the food was sooooo good. I wish other restaurants would remember how to make a visit special. When we need a date night this is going to be our go to restaurant.
google avatar

Amber F.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. The ambiance and scenery was delightful, and the service was prompt. Every dish was fantastic, especially the potatoes and pork. If you're in the mood for tapas or small plates, this place is a must-try!
google avatar

Allison P.

Yelp
Came here for an early Mother's Day outing. Really great environment (sat outside) and vibe. Strongly suggest making a reservation (I overheard the hostess quoting an hour and a half wait). We ordered the Hanger Steak, Pork Belly, Empandas and Calamari with the red Sangria. It was l great and came out extremely quick. We enjoyed it!
google avatar

Cheri B.

Yelp
Really great place for wine, snacks and conversation! We had a reservation on a Saturday afternoon... we were seated right away. The place was buzzing with people and the servers greeted us right away. Two couples in our party and we ordered wine and beer. First came our Charcuterie with killer good Manchego etc. We then had Bacon wrapped dates sitting on Blue Cheese... mmm SO delicious... definitely be ordering these again!! The Spicy Beef Empanadas were also very good. We shared a slice of Burnt Basque Cheesecake, which was the perfect finish for our little soirée. Onto Hamilton at The Fox. We'll definitely go back to this eclectic restaurant and try some more options of their great cuisine... might try the happy hour next visit.
google avatar

Tim M.

Yelp
The vibe was amazing! The drinks were great and the foods was perfect. The service was on point. This is one of my favorite places to go in Atlanta. It's a great date spot.
google avatar

B F.

Yelp
The service was good and everyone was nice for a Tuesday. The sangria just wasn't that great and the mussels lacked flavor for the food. The ambiance was intimate. Check them out, plenty of stuff to try.
google avatar

Shani H.

Yelp
My first time at this location and it definitely matches the one on highland. Great service, great food and a nice patio.
google avatar

Tiffany K.

Yelp
The food was delicious! The tapas were a little pricey, but they were filling. The service was good, and for birthdays they offer everyone shots or a dessert for the table. The ambiance is very dark and moody. A little disappointing when we had to wait 20 minutes for a table even when we had a reservation.

Reid M.

Yelp
Food/wine are solid but service has been pretty horrible my last few visits, bad enough where I don't think I'll be coming back. At this location, I don't think the kitchen/staff are right sized for how many tables there are in the restaurant, which is probably the biggest contributing factor. Don't offer paella on your menu if you can't prepare it in under 1.5 hrs. Assuming this was an outlier scenario, your staff should at the very least be trained to comp apps or drinks. Hell, even a Diet Coke took 30 minutes.
google avatar

Jarrod F.

Yelp
The Mrs and I decided to check out this spot for a nightcap and were pleased with our overall experience. We walked in on a Friday night and the place was booming. So if you're in a large party or would like a table. I would recommend making a reservation. The wait would have been 30/45 mins for a table for two so we decided to sit at the bar. For food we ordered the bacon wrapped dates, grilled chicken, fried cauliflower, and the crispy calamari. For drinks we got a Alebrijes cocktail and a Nectar sherry. Overall both the drinks and food was good and a decide portion size for tapas style dishes. Taking off one star because I thought the chicken could have been grilled a bit more and the sherry was super sweet! But I just charged that to those two things not really being for me, but someone else may like them. If you're looking for a nap cap after a date night or a spot to connect with a small group of friends before you get into something else, I would definitely recommend here. Oh! And if you drive valet park. It's only $5 and definitely worth it.

Meka D.

Yelp
I came here for the first time with my social group for our monthly bookclub meeting. I really had good expectations being as though I frequented their DC location but my visit was not the best here. I had a reservation for 6 people and they placed us in a booth for 4 people. Seating was tight and cramped. Service was super slow. It took 30+ minutes for my sangria and over an hour for food. I was the first to order and the last to get my food. Orders were messed up. I didn't really have a good experience.

A A.

Yelp
The Paella Verduras which is their vegetarian paella is bland. When we learned it would take 45 mins to prepare we thought 'this better be good' but it really wasn't. We also had more than half of our Chicken Pimientos leftover that our server offered to box up. The portion size was quite good. Unfortunately upon getting home we learned that none of the sauce from the dish (and there was a lot) or the pimiento peppers made their way into our takeout box. So disappointed because the sauce is what added all the flavor.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place searching for a Spanish tapas bar while visiting Atlanta. Every dish we had was excellent! Wine prices were fair too.

Yelp
My experience here was great! Made a reservation on a Friday night and they were busy!! The table didn't tKe more than 10 minutes and the manager walked us over. He was very nice and wished me a happy birthday! The food was good my favorites: the chorizo, brussel sprouts, drunken goat cheese and the calamari were excellent. Our server was great and allowed ample time for us to enjoy without us feeling neglected. Even though it was busy we still felt tended to. The restaurant is beautiful! The music was excellent and everyone was so incredibly nice. There is a lil birthday celebration they do but I wont spoil it for you! Definitely must go back I've been telling all my friends about it!

Yelp
Barcelona is the perfect modern take on Spanish tapas. They have many locations across the United States and the atmosphere maintains the same fun and energetic ambience and service. No matter where you are, if you walk into a Barcelona, it's bound to be busy. Great place to come with a party of four of more. There's something for everyone on their tapas menu. While you can't go wrong with any of their food, my top two menu picks are their white sangria and their gambas ajillo.

Yelp
My go-to spot. Great for date night, girls night out, large group gatherings. The only thing is it can be tough doing tapas with big groups with different tastes, allergies, etc, but it's definitely doable - and fun! Just love the vibes here - I've closed it out a few too many times. *FOOD* I always start with a charcuterie board. I like the jammón serrano (an aged thinly sliced ham - has a smokey taste to it that I love), soria chorizo (spicy chorizo sausage), drunken goat (goat cheese soaked in red wine - a MUST), and the manchego (your hard cheese, and I mean it's manchego, need I say more?). For tapas, they're always changing the offerings but these are some of my trusty go-tos that will please the table. The patatas bravas are a must - and they're a guaranteed favorite for all of the table. The whipped sheep's cheese is delicious and comes with hard toasted bread. The croquetas are a must for cheese fans - they are basically a delicious ball of cheese with little bits of ham in it - hot and gooey in a crusted shell. If your table likes seafood, I recommend the grilled pulpo and mussels. Regardless, you can't go wrong here. Oh, and don't forget an espresso martini for dessert here. These espresso martinis are coffee-forward - and not solely coffee cream liqueur like other spots do it - so they're good stuff. *PARKING* They have valet only right out front for a couple of bucks. This place will be a guaranteed favorite once you try it. Cheers!

Yelp
The interior overwhelmingly loud, and can't be recommended for anyone hard of hearing. Likewise, in the evenings, the lighting is dim to the point of having to hold up the menu to the light coming in from the windows to read it. I have likewise luke-warm feelings about the food, which I found to be very hit or miss: Burrata 2/5 - The very mild flavor of the cheese was drowned out by the rest of the plate. Lamb Chops 5/5 - Well-seasoned and tasty, if a tad salty. Mussels 5/5 - Some of the best I've had anywhere. Watermelon Salad - 4/5 Tasty, but a rather small portion for the price and ingredients. Scallops - 4/5 Scallops themselves were perfectly prepared, toasty on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside, but the sauce was a poor choice of accompaniment. Overall, I can recommend it, but only just.

Yelp
Went on a Monday evening on a whim because a friend was in town and I'm happy I did. Love this place. The service was excellent. The staff were so friendly and they were so attentive and constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. Everything we ordered was delicious. And the Roja wine that I ordered was exceptional. Not to mention the Olive oil cake. Yummmmmm! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
What a wonder establishment! I can not recommend Barcelona Westside Ironworks enough. We just hosted a fantastic "after wedding party" there Saturday night from 11pm - 1am. The ambiance was amazing... giant fire in the outdoor fireplace the umbrellas situated perfectly so even though there was a lite drizzle we could still be outside to enjoy it! The staff went above and beyond even supplying little signs on the bar celebrating the newly married couple. The entire staff was terrific! We had over 100 in our party and they took our orders in stride offering their full menu of drinks. The bartenders were so good! Their specialty gin and tonics were a hit! I worked with Julie Clark prior to this event and she took care of making sure our night went off without a hitch. We had a delicious meat and cheese board, fresh bread, Spanish olives and almonds that were constantly being replenished. If you are looking to host an event in Atlanta please give Julie a call because Barcelona Ironworks should be on the top of your list! .

Yelp
One of my favorite tapas places in Atlanta. I always have a great time at Barcelona. I try to make reservations each time I go because the wait can get a little long when you don't, which we still experienced a bit of a wait on Friday when we went to which we decided to sit at the bar. I want to say it took around 40 mins after checking in to be seated but as mentioned we found a spot at the bar and just ate dinner there. The ambiance is always so nice. I love the decor so much. It reminds me of Barcelona! :) I order almost the same thing each visit and every time it is tasty. Things I recommend: beef empanadas, garlic shrimp, meatballs, Brussels, broccolini, potato brava. All are fabulous! For drinks: The sangrias are a must, we always have a pitcher of each version.

Yelp
5 stars for food 2 for service Ordered 5 appetizers and 2 drinks. Food came out almost instantly. All 5 at the same time. Drinks took 10-15 minutes while the food cooled down. Had to constantly ask for dirty plates and glasses to be removed from table as we finished and ate more and drank more. When dessert came we had to ask server to clear our table first See the picture. Owner needs to talk with manager.

Yelp
Excellent food! We ordered the trout, spinach, steak, asparagus, cucumber salad, and hummus. Each dish was executed beautifully and full of flavor! We will return! Ask for DB, great service!

Yelp
This was my first time at this location. I've been to the other location in Inman Park in addition to a location in Hartford connecticut. The menu and Vibe are all very similar. I would recommend getting three small plates per person for a full meal. I went with my parents in the afternoon. They were just switching from brunch menu. We got the octopus and the prawns. The octopus came with garbanzo beans and had a nice Char on the outside and was succulent in the middle. The prawns were really plain. It seemed like they were just boiled with some kind of chimichurri/ bacious oil. Can't recommend that one. The server was really nice and was able to make some recommendations. Good thing here is that valet parking is complimentary you just need to give them a tip

Yelp
Barcelona is the best place to come for happy hour. I especially love the vibe on the patio. The last time I went the computer system was down so I just got a sangria and no food, but the food is usually great--I especially recommend the short rib if it's on the menu when you visit.

Yelp
The service is great, but the food is just ok. The restaurant offers valet parking. We ordered the meatballs, cauliflower, steak, papas bravas, and an espresso martini.

Yelp
Just an amazing spot to hang and get to some Tapas and cocktails. We sat at the bar and ordered many plates, all were so delicious and don't forget the Sangria which is awesome. Awesome spot to chill enjoy the food and just relax.
