"Tapas are the perfect social brunch food, especially the ones from Barcelona Wine Bar in Edgehill. Instead of hogging up the spotlight with massive towers of pancakes and omelets the size of Delaware, the tasty small plates are there to support your long meandering conversations about fiscal federalism … or possibly who got catfished on Love Is Blind. Post up at the bar or on the patio with a pitcher of sangria and let plates of creamy whipped sheep’s cheese with truffle and honey, crispy spiced beef empanadas, and spicy patatas bravas trickle out of the kitchen all morning (a.k.a. early afternoon)." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

"An interesting wine list and tapas menu of Spanish favorites like patatas bravas and croquetas make Barcelona a fun choice for a night out in Nashville. The roomy, dimly lit restaurant is always rather lively, so perhaps make this a spot for weeknight dining." - Kellie Walton, Eater Staff

A great place for tapas! Everything had great flavor! The flavor profiles are on point. Would definitely recommend the meatballs. The swordfish was also something I would highly recommend. It has a mint salsa Verde that was delicious. The small plates do come out quickly. If you want an adult beverage they have a wide variety. They bring a book to table with wine and cocktails. We will definitely be back.

I have never had an experience quite like this one and it will definitely be the highlight of my turning 30. Highly recommend doing the chefs tasting of the menu! Best way to sample a little of everything while still getting a few of items you know you absolutely want. Will definitely have to make a visit back here soon! Thank you to the amazing staff for making my 30th birthday so special and elegant!

Great date night spot, outdoor seating is great on cooler days, food is fantastic and service doesn’t suck! It’s a solid 4/5 place, and most of the tapas get 5/5 from me — do not leave without trying Patatas Bravas. We ordered 8 tapas and all of them were fantastic, except the shrimp one — that was our least favorite but still not bad — it was just average and everything else was outstanding. They served bread fresh out of the oven, still warm when it made it to the table alongside some top quality olive oil to dip it in. If you like Sangria, do not be afraid to order the whole pitcher, it was one of the best red sangria in the city. The only complaint is that the pitcher comes with a ton of ice and you can’t drink it faster that the rate at which ice is melting in the pitcher — so your last few glasses will be watered down. I’ve seen other places serve the wine glass with fruits and ice and serve the pitcher with sangria no ice and that worked so much better to ensure your sangria tastes consistent throughout. Also, be careful of the outdoor insects when sitting on their outdoor patio during summer. You’ll be constantly trying to save your food from being shared with the insects. Carry your sunglasses during summer because even for 7pm reservation, it was sunny. Chicken thighs were great. Eggplant tapas were great for summertime outdoor patio — it was fresh and served cold. The tables are arranged very close to each other both indoors and outdoors, so be prepared to occasionally interact with your neighboring tables 😂 There’s complimentary valet parking if you’re looking to drive there. There’s also street parking that can be easily found in this area within a block in all directions. Overall, I left the place content and with a smile on my place. I’ll definitely be going there again and will introduce it to my friends as a must-visit place of Nashville.

I was pleasantly pleased with this restaurant. My girls and I had reservations, still had to wait a bit, but once sat we each enjoyed delicious wine, & each ordered 2 plates of food & shared everything. The portions are small plates to share & WOW the food was amazing. I got a wine sampler (as seen in pic) and it was so good. Would definitely go here again!

Four of us gathered for the tapas dinner experience. The place looks chic and upscale with a very vibrant and laid back ambiance. We started with a bunch of tapas that we shared - 1. Patatas bravas 2. Gambas Al ajillo 3. Chorizo with sweet and sour figs 4. Albondigas 5. Caprese salad All of them were famtastic. They were freshly prepared with top ingredients. Personally I loved the fresh caprese and gambas al ajillo. The spicy fried shrimp was simply delicious but the spicy olive oil with burnt garlic in it was terrific. We asked for some bread with it. I don’t know why they didn’t give it at first place 🙄 The freshly baked bread was also very good to pair with it. Then we shared a full seafood paella. The paella was good to share with fresh seafood and lemon on top. Overall the dinner was extremely good. The place was packed and the service was a bit lousy. The didn’t give us bread and we had to ask twice for it! Well, I guess the waiters were too busy as it was a very busy time of the day. We didn’t taste any dessert or wine, as we were too full. You should not miss. I highly recommend the place, and don’t miss gambas al ajillo if you are here.

We had a baby shower dinner here over the weekend and had the absolute best experience. Dee Dee from the events team made the entire process so smooth. Spencer was there to greet us upon arrival and her team even offered to carry things in for us. The food was fantastic and we had a blast. Don’t pass this place up when thinking of a place to host your special occasion.

Absolute best experience dining on my hubby’s birthday! It’s our first time here. I order first the sangriaaaa omg next time I wanna order a pitcher, lol. This is a tapas plate so it’s shareable small portions but packed with flavor! anything you pick is worth it and flavorful. We got eggplant, roasted carrots, clams, chorizo w/ sweet and sour figs and ofcourse the Paella mariscos. For dessert we got the burnt cheesecake & Flan! Definitely be back!! Our server Courtney make sure we enjoyed our night she was amazing!!
