This was easily the most disappointing meal I had in Barcelona. The restaurant was stiflingly hot, which made it hard to enjoy anything. The atmosphere felt overly pretentious—like it was trying too hard to impress without delivering substance.
Despite the hassle of securing an advance reservation and paying a deposit, the food was forgettable. In fact, it was probably the least impressive I had during my entire trip. And to top it off? Not even free bread. For the price point, that’s just insulting.
Barcelona is full of incredible dining experiences. Bardeni el Meatbar – Caldeni isn’t one of them.
