The 24 Best Restaurants in Monterrey, Mexico | Eater

"This French bistro has been around for more than a decade, but it recently moved into a new, modern space. The consistent classics are still on the menu, though, including fresh oysters, a seafood platter, escargots a la bourguignonne, traditional beef tartare, and pan-seared duck breast with orange. On Sundays, diners pack the sunny terrace and dining room for brunch, enjoying French pastries, croissants, and breads, along with avocado toast, eggs Benedict, charcuterie, and short-rib chilaquiles. Tucked into a stylish corner in Arboleda, Bardot isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a mood. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed by a subtly glamorous atmosphere of slight French sophistication, with a modern twist. The lighting is soft, and every detail is intentional — a prelude to the experience that follows on your plate. I would add to their playlist a more curated list of songs, more carefully chosen that will match the same cool vibe. The menu is an elegant blend of classic and contemporary. Ingredients taste fresh, seasonal, and purposefully paired. You can order from three different menus. Prices are also very reasonable. Dining here is quite an experience.

Nice mussels with fries. It is nice to be able to choose from three different menus (French, Mexican, and Asian). Good bread and butter. The profiteroles were just ok, needed more chocolate and less hard caramel on top. Good service at first and then became too slow. Nice venue with indoor and outdoor seating.

I decided to try this place after seeing good reviews on Google, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. The food was just average. The indoor seating area was quite hot, though thankfully there was a fan. The music was also too loud, making it hard to enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, it didn’t feel like authentic French cuisine.

Bardot, great place to have lunch or dinner, the music is ok! You can go with friends or family. The food is tasty, we ordered “Chamorro” that was amazing! The onion soup was also great! The only thing that the restaurant can improve are the chairs, they are not that comfortable, I’m talking of the terrace chairs.

This place boasts of French cuisine.. requires reservation.. place is located in a beautiful shopping mall very close to their other restaurant chain Pangea. getting there was easy.. Seating is a bit close hence wouldn't recommend for special occasions as it can get quite noisy.. service is painfully slow.. 2 coffee, 1main dish, 2 desserts took more than 1.5 hours!! Thank God for the coffee to keep me wake.. veg options few.. our customized pasta was good.. portion was good too.. warm chocolate tart was a complete let down.. Almond tart was a saviour for us as we are dessertarians .. wouldn't go back.. too high price for the time and food..

Beautiful terrace but a mixed bag tending towards disappointing. The service was unacceptably slow, despite there only being 2 or 3 more tables at the time. The steak tartare was delicious, but the steak frites were challenging (the au poivre was extremely strong for someone not used to pepper). Dessert was meh at best. Sad, as I had high hopes for this place.

The food was good but took forever to get and then was not hot when we received it. They realized their mistake and brought us complimentary desserts without us saying anything. A nice gesture!
