The Old Bards of 2016 is still there, the burgers are $8.50, and worth the price normally. Handmade patties, fresh toppings, and great taste, normally. The cheese curds and fried pickles are the best anywhere. They now have a decent selection of beer that they didn't have way back when. They have even added a second side, about the same size as the tables on the OG side. They, like many places, are low on staff. The waits are longer than they should be to get waited on. Service was okay, considering the full place and lack of servers to handle the load. The kitchen was full so food was running on time, something some other places can't or aren't doing. BUT now the negative... My burger was rare, and no ask from the server on how things were, just a grab-and-go on the refill. My wife's burger is medium rare. So that's why there's a 3-star this time around. The fries were great as usual. So everything above said... It wasn't horrible, especially compared to the chains, it was okay. We will go back but like baseball.. Three Strikes and you're out, and with us it is years, if not forever... Strike 1 Ball 1. See ya soon Bard's, make us proud this time around!!!
