The food was awesome! We ordered a supreme burger and a chicken sandwich. Super filling and tastes great. Our sever Wellington did an awesome job!! Come try if you live around.

Reviews were spot on! What a fantastic surprise! As we were on our way to Chick-fil-A, we noticed the board outside advertising the “Triple Lindy Deal.” Intrigued, we decided to give it a try. It was such a great deal that we got to sample a bit of everything, and everything was delicious. Our server, Tony, was exceptional. He was incredibly friendly and attentive. I would definitely return whenever I’m in the area!

The burger was seriously good! I went for the regular Supreme and it was an awesome pick — super flavorful and cooked just right. Now I’m curious to try the rest of the menu. The service is next-level too; it’s like walking into your grandma’s kitchen where you’re the favorite grandkid — warm, welcoming, and always making sure you’re taken care of. If you’re in town, this spot’s a must. Oh, and they’ve got vegan options too if that’s your vibe.

Stumbled upon this cute burger spot. Very spacious on the inside for dinning in. Waiters were all really nice—sometimes forgetful, but to be fair, they were busy during my visit. Food was great! The honey Brussels sprouts stole the show to my surprise!!! The burgers were great, but next time I know what to order and how to order/customize burger. The sweet blue smash had way too much blue cheese. Couldn’t even taste the bacon bourbon jam which was my main reason in ordering that one. If you love blue cheese, it’s perfect! Next time I know to take it off or say LIGHT cheese. Aside from that, 8.7/10

I had the best gluten free hamburger in my entire life. Perfect! Also staff was friendly and restaurant was great. I'll recommend to everyone else

What a great surprise! We happened to walk past the Bareburger location on the Upper West Side and decided to give it a try – and we’re so glad we did. I had the vegan My Sunshine burger, which was absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, and we loved that you can choose from a variety of buns – our favorite is the multigrain sprout bun, which came at no extra charge. What really stood out was the exceptional service we received from our server, Adam. From start to finish, he went above and beyond – checking in on us multiple times, making sure everything was to our satisfaction, and providing friendly, attentive service throughout. He even let us know about the great lunch deal available until 3 PM: for just one dollar extra, you get fries and a drink with your burger. Amazing value! A fantastic experience overall – we’ll definitely be back!

This spot has amazing food, seriously top-notch. The service is friendly and always on point. Plus, they have a great selection of dishes to choose from, something for everyone. Happy hour is a real bonus, making it even better. Definitely a great place to grab a bite.

My family and I spent the day in Central Park. We did our homework and found some food places we wanted to try. Bareburger had high rating so we stopped by. And I'm glad we did. The customer service was top notch. The burden was very tasty. The beef tasted great. The bun was perfect. It didn't get sogy from the dressings. And the bun had great flavor. The dill pickles were homemade and very tasty. I am picky. I have high standards. This burger nailed it at every turn. My wife got the Philly Cheese Steak. My daughter is a picky eater. And she was eating my wife's Philly and loved it. That's a big win for us and our kid who is a picky eater. She also got the milkshake. She didn't love it. But... I did love it. I ate the whole thing. As an appetizer we got the Brussel Sprouts. If you know, you know. And these passed the test. They weren't the best Brussel sprouts I've ever had. But they were great. The fries were really good. But the best part was the homemade katsup. It had a unique slightly darker color than the store brands. It tasted great with the fries. They didn't have name brand soda. No coke or pepsi. And I loved it. I don't know the name of the soda they carry. It was better than Coke. My entire family loved it.

My burger felt super small! Or is that just me?? It was delicious and my truffles fries were too. I ordered a skinny margarita to wash it all down. My server was great even though it was super busy. The staff treated me well and the restaurant was well maintained. Maybe next time I'll grab a milkshake.

I haven't had a burger at a sit-down restaurant in awhile so I was interested in coming to Bareburger. Originally I thought Bareburger would be more of a fast-casual place like 7th Street Burger so it surprised me quite a bit as I realized it was an actual restaurant. We had to wait a bit in the beginning as the 2 waiters were pretty busy clearing up all the tables, but despite the lack of personnel, they were very efficient which I was very impressed with. - The National - This was a pretty typical burger with bacon. I did appreciate the slightly warmed-up pickles that helped balance out the hefty meaty flavors. I can't say this burger was very memorable however, it tasted like a less greasy version of 7th Street Burgers. - Sweet Potato Fries - Surprisingly there was a huge quantity of these fries. Their fries are top-notch as they are all crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I didn't need any additional sauces as the flavors were very evident throughout. Overall, okay place for burgers. I felt like it was a little expensive as 2 burgers, 1 milkshake, and 1 side came out to be $50+ at the end.

Bareburger is a cool chilled spot, with good food and even better happy hour. Their burgers, and chicken sandwiches are really good. The service is usually slow but they make up for that with their friendly servers.

Wanted to check out this place since they're partners with one of our CC companies (Bilt), which gives 10x points here on the weekdays. Speaking of which, I'd strongly recommend coming here on the weekdays since it's packed with families and kids on the weekends. Btw, don't use the the QR code for paying if you can help it. It costs an extra 89 cents. They're abysmally slow and definitely need to increase staffing (there were only 4 staff members in the entire restaurant). We waited simply to get our order in for about 20 minutes and it took another 20 to get our food; probably could've gone elsewhere. They didn't even give us napkins or utensils; we had to grab them ourselves. Food-wise, it's fine. I don't think the food here is overpriced but it's not exactly cheap either. The Paul Bunyan was tasty, albeit a bit small. I'd say the Truffle Fries aren't worth the price; save the $10 and make it yourself. I do like that they provided free popcorn, and the napkins were thick. Overall, I would only come back because this place is nearby.

this place is always five stars. we like to come here on a regular basis and the food is always high-quality and the service is always top-notch. This is a good place to come as a family and is kid friendly with always playing cartoons and have a full bar for the parents.

NOOOOO not the millennial burger joint that my friend is scared of. so if they were so scared why did they recommend it for us to get for dinner. it was literally a mile away so we ran there. like bro i was wearing my converse why did you want to run. oh well. we ran and i wasn't that tired which is awesome cuz that means my training is working and my friend was in cross country and out of breath i wonder what that means. anywaysssss we got there and ordered. i got this wagyu thing for like $12 and my friend got like fried chicken and then my other friend didn't want to come with us and ordered online. we ended up waiting like 30 mins for the food which was long and the vibes were lowkey weird. like they seemed mean. once we got our food we ran all the way back and it was cold af so by the time we ate the food it was cold af. but then my wagyu came with fries and bro it just looked so sad. and honestly it tasted bad too. i will never go again cuz why was that mid af and i ran all the way there for THAT. 2 stars bro bffr.

I saw this place based on google reviews and they were really good, so I'm shocked the reviews are so low here. We came here with a group of 4. We spent a long time looking at the menu, and it did take quite a bit of time for them to take our order, about 15 to 20 minutes. This was my only complaint, but I didn't mind too much because our server was very helpful and sweet, and did apologize for the wait. I ordered the Spicy Paul Banyan, and it had the perfect kick. It was my first time having a bison burger and I liked it. I really couldn't tell that it wasn't beef though. The patty was a bit bland compared to other burgers I've had, but the sauce and the jalapeños really brought it all together. The brioche bun was a nice addition. I got the truffle fries and they were delicious. My husband had the sweet bison wagyu sliders. Those were bomb, the blue cheese added a great salty flavor, and the wagyu was delicious. He also had a PB caramel shake that was so good. It was so thick and creamy and I could taste all the flavors. I recommend this place if you want a good solid burger and a variety of options. I wish I could have tried them all.

Cheesesteak bland taste wordr than freezer steak ums. Spicy mango was best thing I had on menu. People of you sick not feeling well please wear a mask. Nobodu hit time to move tables cause you coughing n not covering your mouth. Why? One person sitting at a booth is unacceptable. Spicy cheese steak how you make that without onions. It's not that spicy but the spicy cheese steak they just named that and the jalapeños are like pickles not regular jalapeños .on. people if you don't know what you want please say you're indecisive behind at home cause nobody got time. I'm trying to get my check and it's been 20 minutes with this girl keeps calling the waitress over for every little thing like read the menu.

I ordered a veggie black bean burger, fries, and a margarita. It was a bit busy so it took a while for drinks to come out (they came after the food). Regardless, the food was fairly good and the server was friendly. The margarita was a tad too sweet, but the variety (including mezcal options) that they had was pleasantly surprising for a non-Mexican restaurant

Great burger place to dine in or take out! I usually go to the location at FiDi but this was my first time at upper west side! Usually order the bison or elk burgers! What's good about these burgers is that they're all natural and organic! A bit pricey but with the try!! They have many sauces too!!

We stopped by because we were in the area and decided on take out. It's really cute inside, looks clean and staff was really courteous to us. They have gluten free options (which I of course love), salads, and even wine! Not the best fries I've had but my burger was really good!

So I have had bareburger quite a few times especially the one in bayside. When I order a smash burger with fries pls smash it and ask how I like it cooked! I should have just bit into the cow with the amount of blood plus it was cold! And don't overcook the fries.., horrible experience! Never again...

I loved the experience but was a little disappointed that they didn't have the Wagyu burger anymore though it might have just been a temporary promotional thing. I ended up ordering a cheeseburger with veggies in a collared green wrap. It was delicious though they forgot the cheese and I had to add in my own mozzarella. I always love ordering from Bareburger, and it was nice to try something new for a change. I usually order the gluten-free bun which is also nice, but I'm glad that I went with the collared greens this time around. The burger was pretty good, and I'm happy with my order, as are my parents who ordered the elk and the impossible patty. They also gave so many pickle slices when we asked for extra pickles on the side which was generous.

Busy restaurant that our kids enjoy. The popcorn is a HUGE treat when they have available (not always though bummer!). My wife and I enjoyed a drink for happy hour and the kids love a surprise after school from time to time.

Service very nice, food great (I prefer this one that the one close to 81st street). Relax atmosphere. Cosy place

It's good but expensive for a casual dining burger place but the quality is good. we've eaten inside the place on Columbus, its small but nicely decorated and we also ordered delivery. I'd say delivery was more pricey, with fees and charges it came out to $70 for burger and fries meal, side of fries and a moroccan bowl (salad bowl) it was also smaller portion that n i was served in the restaurant but again, the quality is good, the food is delicious. the sauces are always a great compliment, the salads are large enough to share. if you're watching your diet, look out for the dressings and bacon, get things on the side :)

The burgers tasted so delicious and it was hard to choose with the vast choices they have from grass fed beef, turkey, wagyu and vegan choices. Their mandarin cardamom refresher

Food was really not good. Certainly not any better than any other Smashburger type of place. And way overpriced for the quality. Really disappointed.

Everything was amazing about this place, it was my family's and I first time going and I was very surprised. Food was great and affordable, atmosphere was very calm and enjoyable. Service was superb, they were very attentive and kind. Highly recommend coming to this place!

I came here on a Friday at 1 pm, and it was starting to get busy. I can tell this place gets packed. They gave us free popcorn to wait. We sat at a cute booth and the atmosphere is fun. I enjoyed the chicken sandwich and recommend fries over onion rings. We got the elk burger, which was a bit too greasy and had too much BBQ sauce for me, but my fiancé liked it. The Moscow mules are good but sweet. They also have ginger candy on the pick. Overall, it's a good burger, and fun experience.

Disappointing. I got here at opening time (12p) on a Monday and waited almost an hour to get my food. I was told by the waitress: "It takes 25-30 to cook." Really? Is this the amount of time you folks grill a burger? Anyway... the food eventually did come, but the fries were cold and the meat inside the sliders (I got the "Foursome") barely warm. Considering that it's not the cheapest burger place, I have absolutely no reason to go back.

Outside Dining was fine before December 2020. My daughter and I shop nearby all the time. This has always been a favorite location for Bareburger. It's too cold out now! Bareburger @ Columbus Square is one of my favorite Bareburger locations. When we visit the stores and Greenmarket at Columbus Square we have lunch here. I'm a big fan of their burgers and especially the sweet potato fries. Everything is delicious even when it's delivered. They had outdoor seating set up this Fall which was the last time we were there. I've tried many of their selections and love the bison burger and more. As selective as I am about my food I have never had a problem. The employees more than go out of their way to accommodate my special needs. I am disappointed they don't offer the deserts that they had years ago. I've been coming to various locations for years and I haven't been ordering desert now. I used to love the ice cream sandwich. I think it was called a Sammie. When I was able to eat inside I would just have a bowl of ice cream. Their ice cream is very good. I'm looking forward to the day when I can sit down inside at this Bareburger and eat lunch. I don't know with my age and health if that will ever be safe. Until then I will order and have my burger and fries delivered! Or return again in warmer weather to sit outside. They have accommodated for outdoor dining comfortably. BUT, It's easy to order online. My daughter has it all in her account so I don't have to do a thing! We've never had a problem with delivery or the food quality.

We had the supreme and the national burgers waygu beef version with a side of onion rings. It was amazing !!! To wash it down was hibiscus tea and half lemonade half ice tea. This location has a cute vibe with light music and friendly staff.

I am so disappointed. We really liked bareburger but this was such a disappointing experience. The service was pretty terrible here. Not only did they bring a share size when we specifically said the smallest size possible, they also charged me for a drink that I did not have. I did not notice until I left that it was still on the bill. Finally the food was pretty terrible, not anything like my previous experiences at bareburger. The drinks were horrible. Onion rings were disgusting. Honestly I won't ever come back to this location and perhaps bareburger. I feel they might have changed in the past few years and the bareburger I once knew does not exist anymore. Lastly we ask If we could change th TV and they said no because that side is gor children programming. It was 9pm there were no children in sight. Don't really understand this place.

I had gotten home from school, and I was famished! I was craving a burger, but I didn't want to get Five Guys (the one close to Columbia is more often a miss than a hit). So I looked through my UberEats app, and found Bareburger. I decided on something simple, and got their standard burger. I got grilled onions, cheese, ketchup, and mustard... nothing fancy. After waiting less than half an hour, I had my food in front of me, ready to eat. The burger was delicious! It was feeling, but did not leave me with a food coma. Unlike the burgers from Five Guys, this burger joint actually prepped my burger with a fine balance of ingredients. I'm impressed with the burgers here, and I hope they open up a location closer to school or home.

The food is great not sure about the ambiance but the service is also good over the phone so I can only imagine if I was there how good I'd be treated. I ordered delivery service and the food was amazing.

It's really disappointing how service has gone downhill at this place it used to be quite good. I recently went there for lunch and I was sat at a table and was basically just ignored for about 15 minutes and then I just got up and left.

It's back! But not better than before. I don't know what happened to the diner that was suppose to take over, but I do regret coming back here for a burger. I ordered the Flamin Bacon burger. The burger was lukewarm to sitting out cold and ideally would like it to be at a hotter temperature. The burger is probably something you can make yourself at home at the cost of 75% less. Paying $15 for a burger is ridiculous, especially for this quality. Since they didn't have their liquor license, they weren't serving any alcohol. We asked if we could bring our own alcohol in and they said no. So we just stuck to tap water since the burgers were overpriced in the first place. The experience definitely got worse from the previous time and most likely will not be coming back.

Service 10/10 Wait time 10/10 Food 9/10 The service at this location was unlike any other. The wait time was none, the atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing as per usual of a bareburger location. But the people working here were so consistent and quick to check on their customers, make conversation, make sure our food was good. On top of it - my bf and I left our bag at the restaurant and two of the workers literally ran after us - which is beyond what is expected. People like this who go above & beyond make a difference and I truly think this location deserves more hype & attention. The drinks were also on point!

After an incredibly long wait at my table, my chicken burger arrived insanely charred. I thought it was beef at first because of how dark it was. The breaded parts crumbled off the chicken because of how burnt and overcooked it was. Usually they don't go wrong with their food here, but today's was really bad.

Host at this location: 2 stars (polite but not very helpful) Wait staff: 1 star. Short staffed, not attentive, not familiar with the app they use for ordering food

I have no complaint about the quality of the food. It is definitely high standard. Meat is good, chicken, fries, meat alternative burgers. All good. Maybe the bun can be a little more supportive for the sauce and meat juice. The problem I have is the service. My family waited one hour for the food!!! We ordered some basic burgers. The restaurant was pretty empty and it didn't seem to be too busy with phone/website orders. My kids went crazy. I went crazy. And after spending so much time there when I get the check and the waiter charge me for 2 lemonades even though he told me before it is an acceptable replacement for the tasteless apple juice that my kids hate, I just leave and let him have those extra dollars. I just had to leave already. Get your act together. The food is really good. But what's the point when you get dizzy and angry with hunger. Will not come back.

I have passed this place several times and it always smelled so good, after a year of smelling the burgers I finally gave it a try. The burger did not disappoint. We also got a fried chicken sandwich which was delicious. The vegan milk shake was also really good, it's very coconuty as a heads up, but I was a fan. The best part of all is the reasonable prices. Getting a good burger in the city can get up to $20 but with $12-15 as the range, you can't beat that. Going back for sure to take advantage of the happy hour as well.

their hamburgers are the best in the neighborhood. a slight mistake was made in dellivery and they went out of their way to make it right. i will definitely order from them again.

Bareburger is really expensive for a not so great burger. For three lunch special I paid almost 60 dollars. And I dont think its was really worth it. The regular burger is what I had and with the special sauce. But there was nothing to special about it. I wanted to try cause it smelled good but the fries is what's the best. It was my second time eating here and it's nothing to write home about. Everyone who works here is super sweet and nice. And they have a great vibe but the burgers are just ok. I don't they will be a third time.

Friendly and professional service, excellent beer! Yet, poorly prepared food, soggy onion rings - for which I originally came, noisy music. Next time I'll look for alternatives around the corner.

My new favorite vegan food: Impossible Burger, Fried Pickles and the Coconut Milk Milkshake. Why 4 stars? It's pricey.

Came here thinking I could squeeze in a quick no frills dinner. This note isn't about the food, it's about the service. Whoever is managing this place needs to hire more staff. It was obvious there were only a couple of people there running around frantically. 10 mins to get anyone to notice there were multiple parties at the host stand and eventually someone seated me by basically just glancing in the general direction of a table without saying anything. And then doing it a second time when I didn't know that meant "hello please sit there". Sat there for at least 20 minutes before someone ran by and dropped off a cup of water and ran away before I could try to order... it was not very busy, despite being a Saturday night at 6pm, but every table that did have people was just looking aimlessly around for a person to come take their order, or bring them the check, or whatever it was they needed. By the end we had formed a community of understanding just through our constant looking around for someone, anyone... Whoever's managing this location... pull it together. It's a poor experience for customers and even worse for the staff who are getting worked to the bone and probably feel like crap knowing they're not set up for success.

This restaurant survived and thrived through COVID since their staff worked hard to make sure they served those in the neighborhood and beyond. They have a wide variety of food choices for everyone-meat eaters, vegan and other special dietary needs. They also have an amazing happy hour - what more could you ask for?!?

They're always very slow. On a recent visit I had to wait for 20 minutes after the estimated pick-up time has passed before I got my food. The burgers were only lukewarm too.

I love a big salad with a side of fries. Bareburger has it all-salads, burgers, fries and they even have a vegan menu. My large salad was filled fresh greens and veggies and I added a bison patty. It was the juiciest bison I've tasted! We shared onion rings and waffle fries which were oh so good. Yum! My sister and I enjoyed our meals so much that we visited twice in one week!

We just arrived in New York yesterday night and decided, although jet lag was killing us already, to test this Bareburger we reviewed 2 days ago since my partner is vegetarian. Well how to say.. THIS WAS NUTS. Seriously. The entire staff was really kind, with a huge smile on the face, dedicated to help - food was amazing, we both enjoyed it and for us, as Belgians, fries is a thing. And you know what / they were as good as we do them in our country. Burgers were really good and in overall, I would definitely say this is the best starting point of the whole trip. Thanks again guys, you rock!

The food is fine but this place is understaffed. Packed restaurant -- two servers are working the dining room, clearing tables, dealing with pickup and delivery orders. It takes a long time to order and get your food. Gratefully you can pay by QR code. This place needs more staff, badly. Let people order dine-in orders via QR code, too! Lighten the load for your staff. Hire more people! Do something!!
