LOVED this place! Went with my dog Max and they were so accommodating and patient with us. Their dog menu is so cute, I got Max the grilled chicken which he loved of course. I ordered the shrimp po boy which was delicious as well! And serving portions are pretty big, my sandwich was huge as well as my side salad. This is going to be my new go to spot this summer with my dog.

We visited here for a late lunch and to celebrate pup’s birthday. The outdoor seating blends into Urban Plaza, and makes a lively atmosphere. I got the eggplant dish from the lunch menu (ends at 4pm) -chef’s kiss, my partner got the burger and said it was delish. We both tried the soups and margaritas, they’re good! The dog menu is a hit too, Boccedog LOVED his bowl- glad I got a photo before he devoured it. The experience was great overall.

I happened in here alone on a Friday mid-day, wanting eggs and a place to read, and I found that and more. The meal was delicious, very well-priced, and the hostess Frida admitted that “the food is made with love.” I can sense that! Even though this isn’t in my neighborhood, I will most certainly be back.❤️

I’ve been coming to the barking dog for 3 years and really cherish this place! The food is great, the staff is attentive, and I always feel right at home. I bring my friends here every month for a little brunch and Frida always makes sure we’re taken care of. 🤍

Went to this restaurant on Dec 20th 2025 and had the best time. Great atmosphere, friendly dog-loving people and staff. Really good food. Highly recommend it.

Sysco food… I ordered 2 burgers, everything feels processed and pre-cooked. Specially the patty, they are the same size, and the shapes are so perfectly rounded. This restaurant could make burgers easy with their kitchen setup, but instead they buy Sysco mass produced items. This is not acceptable in NYC where there are so many good restaurants who are serious about their food.

Loved my expierence here! The vibe is so nice and cozy. A perfect place for a chill drink at the bar or a bite to eat when you just want to tuck in somewhere and hang out. Would love to come back and read a book, get done work done or even study. The food is classic American comfort food like fried foods, fries, burgers, ice cream and so on so I wouldn’t say the menus us anything special but the food is comforting and seasoned well which is all I could ask for from a bar/diner type of place. The pricing is fair and the staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back to try their breakfast menu!

I’ve been to barking dogs multiple times with family and friends and it is always a great experience, especially when manager Rey is there, very sweet guy! Would give 10 stars if we could! We came here last night, and we had super attentive service from him, our server, and another guy who checks with us (amazing staff). The drinks are so good when the manager makes them, he know exactly what we like!! Highly recommend!

Me and my girlfriend came here with our dog Mylo after finding this spot on BringFido, and let's just 10/10 for me! This was our first visit, and it definitely won't be our last. I actually ordered the salmon sandwich by mistake (I thought it was just a filet of salmon), but thank God I did because it was SO GOOD. Honestly, the last time I tried a salmon sandwich somewhere else, I hated it. But the way they made it here completely changed my mind it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. My girlfriend ordered the blueberry pancakes with bacon, and she loved it too. Sweet and savory in the best way. What really stood out was the atmosphere. There were dogs of all sizes around us, which made it so fun and welcoming. We ate outside on a sunny day. I also really appreciated seeing what I believe was the owner going around and talking to customers. It shows they care about more than just serving food they really make an effort to connect with people. Overall, everything from the food to the service to the dog friendly vibe made this such a great experience. Highly recommend this place, especially if you're a dog owner looking for a spot where you can enjoy a great meal and bring your pup.

We stopped by Barking Dog for brunch and it was very busy! Since it was a beautiful day, all of the tables outside were full. We initially wanted a table outside but it was soo hot for our baby in the stroller. So then after the host tried her best to arrange a table outdoors with partial shading we ended up getting a table inside by the door/window. It was perfect. As our baby had good air and our dog was also able to join us. Hubby and I both ordered a cheeseburger and a short rib sandwich. I needed to indulge! And they were both so delicious. Both came with fries, however I wanted to sub for veggies but they only sub veggies during dinner (which is a big odd) but ok. The service was excellent. From the hosts and servers who were all friendly and tried to accommodate us, which I truly appreciate. Not easy with a stroller and a little dog! And they gave my Mimi a little treat too! We look forward to returning for an easy going brunch with the fam.

Barking Dog is still a family favorite for breakfast and brunch. Over the years I've brought my daughter and relatives from out of town. It's famous for its connection with Sex and the City. We have been seated at the tables or a cozy booth. When I'm alone I prefer to sit at the bar instead of waiting for a table. If you get take out like I sometimes do be prepared to wait. I'm a fan of the Barking Dog Cob Salad. The deserts and ice cream are yummy too. Barking Dog is definitely a neighborhood historic favorite. You're welcome!

Food is uneven, service is great, outdoor dining is okay. I got the country breakfast with sunnyside up eggs and country sausage. Everything was great - and the sausage is a step up from the skinny links that other diners serve. The biscuit was nice, not too dry. My friend's fried chicken dish had great chicken - greaselessly fried and very moist, with crispy veggies. Too bad the gravy and the potatoes were tasteless - totally tasteless. We sat outside in cool weather and yet got tremendous service from the waitress. There aren't many great alternatives in this location - esp. with outdoor dining, so we were grateful.

As you walk in, you're greeted by walls covered in adorable dog picture frames--literally every inch of the restaurant is a celebration of our furry friends. The playful decor creates such a fun and cozy vibe that you can't help but smile. Classic American brunch fare done just right. Nothing over-the-top fancy, but exactly what you want when you're in the mood for a comforting and satisfying meal. I was in the mood for salmon and eggs, but without the carbs, and the kitchen was happy to customize my plate. It's always a nice touch when a restaurant is willing to go the extra mile to accommodate requests! The salmon was perfectly cooked, and the eggs were spot-on--simple, fresh, and delicious.

This is a cute and casual neighborhood spot. Good for a quick bite and drink in the summer -- especially since they have a good amount of outdoor seating. Also great for people watching and seeing dogs! However, the food was only Ok. And we felt the drinks were a bit syrupy and sweet.

The Barking Dog has been a staple of the UES for decades, and for good reason! It's cozy, crowd-pleasing, and one of very few dog-friendly establishments. The food is yummy and reasonably priced for the area, though limited in terms of vegetarian options. Service is friendly and attentive, but won't rush you. Seating is comfy - none of those hard metal chairs or stools that make you want to get up after half an hour.

Such a magical location. I loved every inch of the place. And the service was beyond impeccable.

It's gotten a bit pricey from the last time I was here, and the portions seem a big smaller from what I remember, but it's still a decent spot in the neighborhood for a nice breakfast experience. Good service and tasty food. Dropped in here with some running club friends yesterday and we enjoyed our eats. Felt so good to get in from the cold. Plus, they are dog friendly and I had some pups to pet while waiting for my friends to arrive. The BDNY breakfast special is always a good choice.

Four of us had breakfast there this morning. The waffles, bacon and sausage were very good. My brother had the full breakfast and that looked delicious. The side dishes were a bit expensive but they gave you a lot of bacon and sausage. The service was great and we would definitely go back there.

Ryan was awesome! Stepped in on a random Tuesday there is dog decor everywhere and we even got to see the owners dog Enzo. $7 margaritas all day Tuesday on Tuesdays but if you bring your dog, then there's happy hour all day. margaritas were standard and the beer was beer. Would recommend !

Amazing staff (Freda and Michelle), and 10/10 food! The chocolate chip pancakes with fruit at Barking Dog NYC are a must-try -- fluffy, delicious, and perfectly made. Highly recommend!

What can be said, friendly staff. Dogs (well behaved) allowed - lovely outside area to eat and an area with big open windows too. Menu is solid. Never had a bad meal or poor experience. A neighborhood staple. Staff great with kids and pups alike.

How i was thinking my review was going to go when i first arrived to by the time i left took a complete 180. Starting off - - great spot for something quick and casual. *do not come here if you don't like dogs* called barking dog for a reason :-) love popping in here for a casual breakfast or lunch with my pup. She gets a fresh bowl of water upon arrival and everyone is very considerate of the pups in the restaurant. I had the hibiscus margarita which was extremely good and would get again. Also got the portobello mushroom and roasted peppers egg white frittata - also very good. I happened to be here on a day it rained. I sat in one of those inside tables but completely covered with the plastic/all glass looking dome ceiling/walls. Mid way through my meal, the walls just started leaking and water came gushing through. I was soaked. My pup was soaked. My meal and drink were soaked. The waitress came over and said I'll help you move your stuff inside. She grabbed my plate and drink - told me where to sit and put my stuff on the table. I looked at her and I said my eggs are literally swimming in rain? She asked if she should put in another order. I said no it's fine because I was getting full so wasn't going to have the kitchen make another one if I was hardly going to eat it. She says ok and walks away. I called her back over and said my drink is also half rain and she said oh you want another one? Still pouring out so I ordered a Prosecco while waiting it out to walk home. I ask for the bill. They charged me for everything! So the structure of your building can't hold up in the rain, you sit me there, I get soaking wet (to the point where I had to ring out my shirt) then proceed to charge me for everything?! I had to have her go back 2x to the manager which I should never have to do and they should have comp'ed something immediately. Shame management didn't react or be apologetic about the situation immediately. They could have avoided a lot of unhappy customers.

I really wanna like this place because it has so much potential, but I am disappointed every time. It's overpriced, service is slow, and food is never better than mediocre.

We ordered delivery and they forgot one of our dinners. When we called to tell them, they put us on hold while we listened to them laughing and talking. They finally came back and told us we had to reorder the missing item on a new order, and only then they would remake it. No apologies, just telling us what WE needed to do.

Why do business insist on serving limp fries! Don't bother to say Crunchy or fresh.. When Your not. I went against the other reviews.. (Almost a bad idea) I ordered eggs benedict .. The english muffin. ah dah.. you forgot to toast it?? the thin slices of ham were a nice touch. The egg was cooked to perfection. HOWEVER the promised crisp hash browns were a full let down. Never mind that there bathroom is not wheelchair accessible For ANY chair... Yeah I know.. I ordered from them not once but Twice. There menu sounded so good... I also ordered the pot pie to go.. umm they gave it to me inverted.. UCK ah I was deprived of the Crust....Wait there is no top.. THey don't deserve the 4 star But wait.. the reason for the 4 stars.. Do not over look the Grilled Chicken Caesar. OOO my almost the best I ever had... so yummy.. But caution wilted soggy fries come with it. No crunchy crust top on my "Pot Pie"... limp fries Dam close ur doors and find another job.. OO you could possibly fit a Permobil at one of the outside tables? I ordered in I did not physically see this place.

Cool vibe but staff not the most customer friendly. Ordered the Belgian waffle for brunch. Tasted like cardboard. Dry and tasteless. Manager came over and was very gracious. Offered me the opportunity to order something else. Ordered a salad which was fine.

In 2020 I reviewed this restaurant, giving it 4 stars. I haven't ordered from them or been there in a few years. Tonight I ordered a delivery of my favorite dinner, roast chicken. It was always full of flavor and tender. This time the chicken was not the same cut and had no flavor. The mushroom sauce, provided separately, was skimpy. Even with the dessert, apple crisp with vanilla ice cream, the ice cream used to be excellent -- this was not. The price would have been OK for a treat if the food had been good (the spinach was fine!) Hopefully this was a one-time thing, but for now I'll stick to meeting friends for breakfast or brunch. Their eggs and pancakes, etc. were always tasty.

Over-priced meh. For the $$$ money it should have been much, much better. Two blah drinks and two appetizers (not even a meal) = $65, What???? I waited a stupid amount of time to be seated... and the had to beg for water/ I asked two questions and when the check came it was apparent they answered me wrong...( a language barrier, I guess) The main server was conscious but even then, there was lag in service... but not sure why because no one was in side. No one. This crappy experience sucks because it could've been a new hang out. Instead, I'll just remember being ignored, over charge for mediocre fries, and drinks made mostly of mixer. What has happened to restaurant's Manhattan?

I found this place very charming, Louis was very attentive greeted us and came by every once and awhile between delivering us drinks or food. Within 5 minutes of ordering drinks they arrived then we ordered food about 15 minutes or less went by and it arrived AMAZING. Super quick as we were very hungry. The food was ok nothing stellar. I found the turkey bacon a bit hard to chew more beef jerky consistency than nice chewy bacon style or super crispy. Hash browns were super crispy which was a plus in our book. The coffee we got, hot coffee and an iced latte was outstanding, I would stop by just for some coffee and sit for a while it was that good. I love how the place is decorated with dog art work and decor if you're a huge dog lover this is the place to be.however I must note when using the restroom there was a sign which I included a picture of. I never heard of a toilet not being able to take toilet paper, I asked for further clarification and I think I just confused my server. Super odd . I really did enjoy this place and wish I had a dog to enjoy also enjoy this place (I assume dogs are allowed based on all the decor and there was outdoor seating) but very odd about the bathroom sign.

DON'T EAT HERE‼‼ 2 WEEKS AGO while having dinner with a friend I bit down on my food and bit into something hard and sharp‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼ My friend was looking at me not knowing what was happening. After spitting everything I was chewing on into my napkin we saw the PLASTIC that was in my salad. I have had this lovely server before and I showed her what just happened. I took a screenshot of the plastic along with the salad I WAS eating . I asked the server to please take my name and number and have the owner call me ASAP. I am not a litigious person at all but I wanted to make them aware that I needed to see if all was ok with the teeth that bit into it. Low and behold one tooth had a broken corner from the plastic and doesn't seem like a big deal to repair. ‼HERE'S THE BIG DEAL‼ The OWNER doesn't give a damn and despite my calling him at least 7 times over 2 WEEKS he hasn't shown any decency, concern, interest in making this right‼‼ DON'T GIVE HIM YOUR BUSINESS HE DOESN'T DO THE RIGHT THING ‼ He opened up a beautiful OVERPRICED, SMALL PORTION MEDIOCRE restaurant on 92&3 I have stopped in 3 times the past 2 WEEKS to no avail‼ Aside from the plastic in my salad, I had been to the new restaurant a couple of times where he has been with his unfriendly, snarky demeanor‼ Riddle me this why would you have a restaurant and be out front and present if you don't show any interest in your customers You will never see another penny from me your restaurants, not that pretty, and your food stinks and your prices are too high. What are you thinking?

Food was pretty good of the modern diner variety (ciabatta rolls, cappuccino) and the music was pleasant jazz at a low volume. They fell down in two big areas: plastic receptacles for condiments, and no flavor/aroma coffee.

My husband and I came here and it is AMAZING! We both got the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. We sat outside. The service was amazing as well! Their bottomless mimosas are $30, but $35 for pomegranate mimosa. 10/10 we will be back next time we're in NYC!

We recently had a company's holiday party at the Barking Dog, and it was just amazing. Shout out to Manager Rey! All staff are friendly and accommodating, the bathrooms are clean, and the decor is so beautiful. This restaurant makes you feel like home! It has the best comfort food in New York City. Definitely coming back with my dog

I didn't read the reviews, but shocked that see only three stars. Family visiting my mom from out of town were hungry, mom suggested this place that she frequents. We had a party of four and were seated immediately on a Saturday afternoon. We all ordered breakfast and everyone basically cleaned their plates. Bacon was crispitty, the biscuit was good with butter and jelly. My mushroom omelet was stuffed with mushrooms and spinach! The hash browns were good. The pitchers of mimosas were the Best I've ever had. I am not a fan of mimosas, maybe it was the red sugar around the rim that won me over. Our waiter Luis was on point. He gave suggestions and was tentative. I would definitely return!

I had dinner plans with a friend and she wanted to bring her dog, so we were looking for a dog-friendly restaurant and the Barking Dog was exactly that! We walked in around 7:45 on a Saturday night and there was plenty of seating inside or outside, we chose outside because it was a nice evening. The staff we're all really nice towards my friend's dog, our server gave him a couple treats and they have chicken or bacon options for dogs on the menu. Also, if you bring your dog you get happy hour! They had a lot of options on the menu and I decided on the short rib burger with sweet potato fries. It was really good! The burger was huge and cooked well, and the short rib added some good flavor. The fries were perfectly crispy, just the way I like them! Overall we (me, my friend, and my friends dog) all left happy and very full!!

Overpriced and they don't even honor their hair hour sign posted on their building. The waitress had to "ask" the manager if I could have the happy hour deal at 2pm with our dog because it wasn't whatever time she said happy hour started in the evening.

Came here for a Saturday lunch after visiting the Guggenheim museum with my friend. We were immediately seated which was great. A word of advice DO NOT eat here if you do not believe in dogs being seated at the table. We didn't realize their love for dogs until we walked in. There's pictures of dogs everywhere! The actual restaurant gave diner vibes which was actually really cute and I think they have dog food as well but I'm not actually sure. My friend is a dog mom and I'm her dog god mother so it was fine and the majority people who brought their dogs ate outside. The food was good. The omelet was genuinely okay, the side salad was alright as well, nothing too special. My friend really liked her salmon burger. I think the star of the show was the alcoholic milkshake and the brownie sundae. The food is diner style so overall it wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad. I'd come back if I was in the area again.

Amazing drink deals during happy hour (all day if you bring your dog!) and plenty of outdoor seating gives Barking Dog a solid A in my book. All of the servers are so nice to both me and my dog Theodore even though he is a menace who needs constant love and affection and pets. Sometimes they even bring him treats! The omelets are phenomenal and traditional if you're into folded omelets with the filling tucked inside (when did a bunch of stuff scrambled into burnt eggs become an omelet? Idk but that needs to end and luckily they do not do that here!) Get the mimosas, they use fresh OJ in them. Fish and chips are also great and come with a lot of fish, so they're a great deal. Thank you guys for feeding me and the rest of the neighborhood all covid!

We were waiting around to meet our realtor to see a near by apartment on the UES and this was the only real option at 4 p.m. on a cold day that had somewhat (and I use that term loosely) decent heating for outdoor seating. The service was good. No complaints there. The food was blah and rather disappointing. I had a burger, which should be a relatively safe thing to order and easy to do right. But it was just okay. The hubby had a salad that was pretty sad on its own and not much to go about. It's not a place we will be going back to. It's an average place with average food and higher than deserving prices.

Excellent brunch. Seriously. And it's not badly priced at all. I got a frittata with a bloody and a side of bacon and it was so so so good. Loved the biscuit. Ended up ordering a second helping of them. Great outdoor dining area and the food comes out very quickly too. Solid UES spot.

I don't know why Barking Dog has so many bad reviews. It's a great brunch place with extensive outdoor seating and a huge menu full of options. Only thing was how slow the service was, which was frustrating. But the food is solid and affordable, which makes for a winner in the UES. My friend and I shared the smoked salmon omelette and the breakfast banana split appetizer. She also got an iced coffee with almond milk. It was just enough food for both of us. The omelette was delicious and came with a small roll. As I mentioned, the waitress took such a long time to take our order and bring the bill, but besides that, I think the food is reliable and satisfying.

Came in on a Sunday for an early lunch and got seated right away. The restaurant is dog friendly and the inside is very cute and cozy with lots of dog pictures decorating the walls. We had the Atlantic salmon burger and smoked salmon eggs Benedict. The salmon burger was very good. The salmon eggs Benedict was okay, the smoked flavor was a little too strong. Service was great. Would definitely come back here.

We went here tonight for a quick dinner. Food: The food was not great. The only thing I enjoyed was the truffle fries. They were crunchy and well seasoned. The Penne Vodka pasta was bland and very under seasoned but it also smelled a little bit like something was burnt or maybe it was a smokey smell. Either way food was very disappointing. Service: Great and on point. Our server checked in on us consistently and was always available when we needed her. Ambiance: They have cute outdoor seating that also has heaters so on days when it's in the mid to high 60's it's nice to sit outside.

Neighborhood staple. I could go once a week. Always good, reliably filling choices. From hearty tasty brunch selections to lunches with pretty terrific salads to homestyle dinners - especially the burgers. And reasonably priced with comfortable booths. Great choice for a casual, even last minute dinner out. And they have a great booth if you have a large group - may have to reserve that!

It was one of those evening where I was craving breakfast food. I didn't have much time to cook it myself, so I ordered from here through UberEats. The wait time was a standard 30 minutes, and I was chowing down in no time. The food was decent. The sausage and cheese omelette was delicious, and the hashbrowns had a nice crispy texture. The biscuit didn't sit too well with me, but it was a minor part of an otherwise good meal.

Had a sweet farewell lunch here and the portions are totally huge. I got the burger, which was decent, and it was literally the size of my head. Sure im a small person but im not a baby. It was huge. I ate half and felt guilty I couldn't finish the other half! The fries were really good, overall a decent place to grab lunch. I only recommend that the chairs and tables get leveled out so the experience is more comfortable.

Food was just ok. Limited bacon on a BLT!! Service was fair but no attention was given to control the over crowded spaces with dogs! Some were barking regularly, others aggressive, making for a very uncomfortable environment and eating experience. They need to pay more attention to animal control with respect for diners and the dining experience!

Ordered burger to go when I was on the bus. Was ready when I arrived. Was delicious. Nuf said.

I ordered quesadillas (comes with sour cream and guacamole) for lunch and only finished half. I asked for more sour cream and guacamole in small containers (like typical container you'd put ketchup in) to finish later and THEY REFUSED. The waitress went to the kitchen twice and the cook refused to give more guacamole. I was so confused and disgusted. Like what if I wanted more with my food and ate it there? Is that not allowed? I was even willing to pay for extra.. NOPE. NEVER AGAIN! extremely turned off. It's unfortunate because we liked the concept.

Ugh . I was on the fence about writing this until a friend went through the same experience. I wouldn't complain but $18 for a grilled cheese sandwich? It should at least be decent. The service is fine and I've never had any issues with that but when I got home my grilled cheese sandwich that was supposed to be on sourdough was on a hero roll with one slice of cheese . It wasn't even grilled . Maybe microwaved ? I angrily tossed it into the garbage and yes I should have photographed it . I called the next day and was told next time I would get a free sandwich. Uh . No . I'm sticking to the good old fashioned tried and true Greek diner.After paying a $83 Cheque I've learned a lesson .

I wish I could love Barking Dog. We all have that neighbourhood establishment that's a few steps away. When you don't wanna cook, but you're feeling social, but you don't wanna get on the subway? Your lazy restaurant or lazy bar. That's what BD is for me. They're known for their brunch menu, there's a huge advert on the front door that harps about their 12.25 brunch menu. Please note the small text that says weekdays lol. I've been there for brunch, lunch, dinner. Of course, drinks. The food is nothing to write home about, and honestly has been bad a times. The burger was dry and tasteless. The onion rings were rubbery and obviously the cheap frozen kind. The Eggs tend to be rubbery, the biscuit is inconsistent -- can actually be quite good if you get it on a good day. Steak tends to be over cooked and chewy. Braised short rib was underwhelming. The Po Boy was average. Average. This place is average. If you're in the neighbourhood, sure. Would I come back here if I live 10 blocks away -- absolutely not. I will say, the drinks are nice. You can taste the alcohol and happy hour is good. The service is always very pleasant and quick. The girls are always willing to answer questions and will be patient. Also a massive COVID shout out. In the middle of the pandemic, BD was the place to go. It was one of the first places to create a pleasant and safe outdoor seating area. They have taken advantage of the pandemic and created something beautiful. Their outdoor seating truly is a treat. Part of the reason I keep coming back to this mediocre place.

I've been to this place twice. The first time was for dinner and the second time was for brunch. I preferred brunch. The interior is spacious with a bar in the front and plenty of booth seating and table seating beyond the bar, which was tinged in green with copper dog heads. There was a friendly ambiance. My first meal here I ordered the grilled salmon sandwich with sweet potato mash. I liked that there were a variety of sides you can choose from, such as salad, french fries, baked potato and so on. What I truly wanted was the Parmesan truffle fries, but they didn't allow that to be a side option even though I offered to pay an up charge for it. At $8.50, I wasn't that happy with the price but ended up splitting it with a friend and I am glad I did. The salmon sandwich was just okay. I requested it to be served on focaccia bread, which perhaps not the best choice, as it was quite crumbly and difficult to eat. The salmon was in pieces and there was green onion, dill on the bread. The salmon was nicely tender but could have used more seasoning. Overall, I was not that impressed. I enjoyed the Parmesan truffle fries more. Perfectly crispy, sprinkled with a generous helping of powdered Parmesan and the strong taste of truffle in every bite! A few days later, I returned for brunch. I was debating whether to get the breakfast special or the pancakes with some sides. I decided to try the pancakes and was able to sample 3 different types which was great: Chocolate cherry, granola and apple. My friend and I also shared hash browns and pork sausage. My favorite pancake was by far the chocolate cherry. There were sizable chunks of chocolate and dried cherry pieces. The chocolate was delightfully melty and the cherry was slightly tart, while still being sweet. After that, my next favorite was the granola which was unique and worked pretty well. The consistency was good and there was plenty of flavor. Then there was the apple pancake, which didn't taste like apple at all. I was disappointed by that one. In general, the pancakes were on the heavy side and not as fluffy as I prefer. The hash browns were delicious! Crunchy brown shredded potato in a square shape, it was well seasoned, light, not greasy at all. The pork sausage was also tasty! They were cut in half with yummy looking grill marks. Very juicy, succulent and flavorful. Service was decent. The waitresses were nice and knew the menu well. Our water was always filled and everything came out in a timely manner. I would open to returning for brunch!

Great breakfast diner food! One of the best I've had in New York. Everything was cooked just right and the best part was that nothing was too greasy, which is rare to come by with diner breakfasts. The hash browns were also some of the best I've ever had - light, crispy, perfectly salted. Didn't need ketchup! The sausage serving was bigger than most (2 pieces) and perfectly grilled. My boyfriend finished his eggs Benedict too even if he wasn't all that hungry to begin with. It was such a satisfying breakfast! Wouldn't hesitate to come back

Food was good, can't say the same about service. Waiter seemed miserable and was talking about us to his coworker right next to us. He was very nasty. He also forgot to put in some of our orders, no meal came out at the same time. We also found a hair in my sisters beer. The WORST part of all was there being a hamburger and GRAPES (which are severely toxic for dogs) on the floor under our table. We had to rip the hamburger out of our dogs mouth. This is a pet friendly establishment, but they neglect their safety and can't properly clean up their floors to keep in mind the dog's wellbeing. Will NOT be returning after this unenjoyable and very stressful experience.
