Barlume Downstairs

Barlume downstairs just reopened and it’s a cozy space with live music twice a week. I really enjoy the bites here and it’s a great space to throw an event. The bartenders are super friendly although they’re dressed like janitors?

Very chic atmosphere with delicious high end light bites from the restaurant upstairs which is also fantastic. The night we went they had a DJ and a number of people started dancing though it’s mostly sit down. It’s fairly large with two rooms, a bar and lots of tables. The crowd seemed interesting and fun as well.

Great table, great service, super friendly waitress and maitre d’ , a great time and then the DJ came which was awesome too! Delicious drinks and perfect small plates to share!

Amazing - just need to get rid of mould smell.

This new restaurant in the heart of flatiron district is a real gem. We arrived for our 5:30 reservation and we decided to stay at the bar because it felt right to stay there. Everyone was super welcoming, warm and professional. The food was beyond expectations: there are some many different choices of fine Mediterranean dishes but clearly there is a strong italian influence with some of the best pinsa (pizza) we have ever had. Among the apps the yellowtail tartar and the crab crostini really stand out. I trained a Lambrusco sbagliato and I was in heaven, I had 3 more wines by the glass and they were all excellent. Th place was busy and the vibe was so in tune with everything, music was just perfect. What an addition to the neighborhood! An instant classic!!

This is for downstairs. Drinks didn't blend well. For the price I would go someone with better cocktails. It was very crowded till probably 11/midnight
