We went to Barnes & Noble for a book signing event with Brandon Mull, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The location was spacious, organized, and had more than enough room to comfortably host everyone who came out. The staff were warm and welcoming, making the whole event run smoothly. Everything from checking in to finding our seats felt effortless. I also noticed how clean the store was, which really stood out. Even the restrooms were spotless—something you always appreciate when you’re out at a big event. Overall, this store knows how to host an author signing and create an enjoyable atmosphere for readers and families. Great place, very friendly, clean and the kids area is huge i come and read to my nephew! I come in and start writing my book at times and enjoy their coffee as well. Love their Anime/Manga Section and their LGBT variety of books shelved as well.

Barnes & Noble has always been a special place for me. In my early 20s and 30s, it was my go-to spot—a safe space where I could read, learn, and grow. I have fond memories of sipping hot coffee while browsing through new books, carefully choosing my book of the month. Recently, I started visiting again, and I’m loving the return to this old yet refreshing habit. The atmosphere is just as inviting, making it the perfect place to get lost in a good book.

Great layout and atmosphere. I found a book I was interested in and read it on a comfortable chair for a couple hours. They also occasionally host free Lego events and have free samples which is amazing. Friendly staff to. They let you read even if you had not purchased that book.

Love this location. Everyone is super nice, they have variety. We go for story time for our toddler every Saturday at 2. The cafe always has great selection and the baristas make the best drinks!

The staffers are so very helpful and nice! They seem to be very knowledgeable re: whatever you are looking for and will take you to that specific area! A very nice place to have a seat & read and/or enjoy a coffee while you're there. Comfy seats for the hubbies to sink into (& pretend NOT to be taking a snooze🤫) while waiting for the women/wives to meander around. Such a fun place to check out the new/older books, magazines, crafts, kids corner, have coffee & read or visit! Feels safe & that's so important these days...

Love Love Love Barnes and Noble. My all-time favorite book store. Though I am known to Shop at a half priced book store occasionally both have good prices and tons of books to shop for. Of course the biggest difference is how many magazines of different categories there are at B&N vs The few that Half Priced has. Also the nice coffee shops that are built into the B&N. The Discount prices and other accessories that are available with a membership at B&N are even better. Usually there's plenty of parking. Depending on which one you're shopping at. the staff is always friendly and helpful with questions or making a purchase. So Yes I recommend B&N for any reading needs

It was nice and quiet. We met there for a study group. My classmates said the macaroni and cheese was great. I had a drink, and one of my other classmates had an iced brewed coffee. She said it was disgusting. She just threw it in the trash instead of taking it back We found the books that we were looking for they were expensive but we found everything we needed for the class

I've always just had fantastic experiences here. The employees are always kind and efficient, they've been very supportive in helping me find what I'm looking for, and the cafe drinks are amazing as always. Special shout out to Marcy, she made my drink today and was very gracious when I explained I had a problem with the drink and found a great solution. Made my day. Thank you so much!

Happy New Years Eve! Despite all the coverage of doom and gloom, chocolate still exists in the form of a hot, creamy mocha at Barnes & Nobles. Good morning. And how did you start the very last morning on planet Earth, in the year two thousand twenty-three? Next year, I will celebrate 60 years of this planet twirling. So, this day is a passage for me. Decided to keep breakfast simple, but with beautiful flavors. I love the calm, unrushed pace of Barnes & Nobles' bookstore. I love to consume books, so why not consume a crusty croissant sammie, with sausage, a fried egg, and coffee as well? I have yet to go to a stand-alone Starbucks. I only go to Starbucks at B&N. I guess I just don't want to become an addict willing to wait in a car line when that is just more traffic. Here, you get face-to-face, human interaction. No exhaust fumes. Seems as if the world is revolving just a tad slower, without gravity shooting us into outer space. Just the right pace, just the right place to have a moment to enjoy just being alive. Could you use a moment like this? Sure you could. Here's to all of us finding our center. Turn off the news. Find your mini-zen place as I have. Tune out the horrors of the world, and tune in that beauty hasn't disappeared. You're beautiful, so it must be true. My dad and I came here to browse their bible section. Barnes and Nobles is pricey, so I was expecting a high cost for bibles. While browsing their bible section I noticed they had a sale going on. In addition there were sales throughout the store. I ended up getting a She Reads Truth Bible in Rose Gold (CSB translation) for a significantly cheaper price than normal ($10 or so off). For the past couple of months I have enjoyed reading the Bible, the passages are easier to understand, there's space to practice bible journaling or jot down any thoughts. There are plenty of devotionals, beautiful hand lettering of scripture and maps/timelines of the passages. SheReadsTruth is a Bible I recommend for women.

Something is wrong here. I had a few good visits when the right people were on duty. During my last visit, the bartistas I likes were gone and they were replaced by a creepy male teenager who didn't seem to want to serve me. Another creepy teenage girl was manning the main cash register. The store was almost entirely empty. Perhaps this is all an indication that the store is having financial troubles, if the place is a ghost town and they can't or won't hold on to any staff that are worth employing.

Very disappointing service. I tried to return a book but they refused even though it was within the 30 day window and the receipt clearly said I could return in store. Even though they could see the policy on the receipt, they refused to accept the return.

It has been WAY too long since I've been to B&N. What a wonderful experience it was getting to browse through the shelves and actually pick up the book and smell the "newness." You just can't do that when you shop online. This location is well-stocked, orderly and very inviting to the customers. I loved browsing the different displays that were set up throughout the store to pique the consumer's interest. I bought a book then headed over to the in-house Starbucks for a hot cup of coffee, sit back and relax. Even though the in-house cafe is a Starbucks, they're not part of the Starbucks chain so you can't use your Starbucks card and earn "stars." It wasn't a big deal, the visit to the store was worth the little bit of inconvenience. Note to me, don't wait so long so come back!

I know that in the age of Amazon, pre-orders and E-books, brick and mortar retail booksellers may be a thing id the past. However, I love waiting for my favorite authors to release a book, and to feel the pages in my hands right there in the store. Sometimes, I hear a podcast or TED Talk and just want to read the book right away. In those moments, I am so grateful for B&N. You can call ahead and they will hold a book for you, which is great! Don't sleep on the gift area either. They have so many great and unique items, sure to please. Not my favorite bookstore, but a bookstore nonetheless. And, oh how I love to browse through aisles of books! As the world turns, aisles of books are becoming harder to find - especially aisles of brand new books. But, Barnes & Noble has been there for me for decades and has made it through all the rumors of its demise. Other large, chain, brand-new-book bookstores have disappeared, but Barnes & Noble still remains. Perhaps they won't exist forever, but for now they do and I'm glad. They've embraced nooks and kindles as they should, but the fact remains; authors and publishers do not want e-books to diminish print - and I don't think they will for sometime. So, here we are. We have one huge corporation that offers a wide selection of brand new books. We'll always have discount bookshops, we'll always be able to find a few copies of bestsellers and random romance novels at Target and Walmart, but will we always have B&N? One destination dedicated to providing a huge variety of sparkling, fresh print? We'll see. B&N being a giant chain is both a good and a bad thing. They've got that whole "Fox Books" from "You've Got Mail" vibe going on; having put boutique bookshops out of business and emanating that whole detached, factory-like, cheap, and overproduced ambiance. But that whole business happened years ago, and this is the way it is. I've always enjoyed B&N's wide selection, mostly reasonable prices (although I do think you should have to pay for a fine piece of literature), and the fact that you can buy a coffee and muffin while you shop. I find B&N especially convenient when I'm shopping for gifts (I love to give books as presents) - because you know you can find what you want, and you know it'll be in glittering condition. I didn't intend to write an essay here on the pros and cons of big-time booksellers; on the politics of e-books being more green than print, on economy, or on the intentions and needs of authors and publishing firms. I haven't done enough research to say, "this is how it should be!" I'm just thinking out-loud... I wish America was full of ornate and charming little bookstores with rare finds and big price-tags that respect a book's value. There are still a few out there, but they don't flourish for obvious reasons. So, we have Barnes & Noble as our only place to find a satisfactory selection of brand-new products, and I'm thankful for that. I'm not ready for print to disappear :( TL;DR - Barnes & Noble is a huge chain that isn't helping to save the trees! Alas, it's one of the only places left devoted to selling new books, in print, of every genre for reasonable prices.

Its really hard for Barnes & Noble to mess up customer service as well as have a lack of both quantity and quality within their resources. This location by Northeast Mall is no exception, and I have no issues with it. It meets my expectations in its presentation, price, coffee, and customer service. One thing of note is that I am very glad to see that the front register area is sufficiently staffed during the busy hours of the weekend in order to accommodate the sporadic rush of customers. If I had one thing to complain about, it would be that the parking area out front is a little tight. For some reason, the designers measured the parking areas a little tighter than usual. I dunno. Nonetheless, a pretty good venue.

Con: I don't know if its just me but B&N always feels overpriced. So I rarely buy anything here. Pro: Like Elizabeth N. stated, great place to stroll through/hang out. The employees are attentive when you need help, but leave you alone for the most part. (Perfect for me) Free WiFi. Great late night location. One of the few retail locations open till 10-11 PM.

I went today and experienced excellent customer service from both the book saleswoman I spoke to and the Starbucks barista. Wish I had jotted down their names, but both were very pleasant and helpful. The store was very large, clean, and organized. I love their huge selection of books, music, toys, games, and video. One of the better Barnes & Noble's I have been to.

We were trying to read with our children in the kids section. One of which is autistic and screeches and squeals when he is excited. The worker came over to the kids section to tell us he was being too loud and needed to keep it down. We decided to just immediately leave instead because who wants to be in a kids section where kids are not allowed to get excited and enjoy books. We planned to buy books but left empty handed and disappointed. This is a book store not a library...

I have come to love and appreciate this location after they so abruptly closed the Downtown Fort Worth location. I have been coming to this location for a good 9 years now. The staff is always knowledgeable and courteous, I have never come across anyone unpleasant. When I come to this location it's to browse through books or have some of their yummy drinks and sandwiches in B&N café. I highly recommend you guys order the Green Tea Frap or eating the awesome cup of Chili I had over the weekend, it left me wanting more. The selection of books is magazines are great, and the location can be noisy at times, but if needed I'm sure you could find a comfy quiet spot where you can take your mind off things and just read.

This review is strictly from a non-buyer perspective. I love going to Barnes & Noble (or ANY bookstore in general) to browse around, relax, and just read. Every now and then when I'm out of ideas on how to spend an evening (either with my niece&nephew, or bf) I'll come to Barnes & Noble and choose out a few books and magazines to read for the day. I'll find a cozy couch or a seat in the cafe area, and just explore the texts. It's a great way to pass the time, and just have fun. Typically, though, if I need books and have some time to wait then I'll buy them online. If I absolutely need a book ASAP then I'll purchase them at either Barnes & Noble or Borders Bookstore.. either or. But yes, Barnes&Noble, great pass time!

I really liked this Barnes and Noble. I visited on December 8, 2018 & really liked the setup. They had a great selection of classic Doctor Who & British television. Would definitely like to visit this location again.

I got a nookcolor a week or so ago and I had a decent experience at this B&N. I usually deal with friendlier people. This loacation seemed a bit lacking. I also wanted help picking a case. I finally decided on a grey canvas case. Today I came back in and my canvas case was just not holding up like it should have. The inside was looking ragged which made no sense at all since I am pretty ocd about my things. I wanted to exchange, but the people wouldn't let me...I ended up spending 30 or so more dollars on a better case, but I was humiliated by the customer service. They were asking me why I should get an exchange for having dirtied my product... -_- I was pretty embarrassed since this was from normal wear...sitting in my night stand? I think for now on I will go to Best Buy for my Nook accessories then deal with this store again.

Advertise and price online and get you in the store, then refuse to match it, even when you're showing them their website price. I could have stood there and ordered it online and picked it up but they wouldn't price match it there. Rude and unprofessional cashier. Store is messy and disheveled. I will never set foot in Barnes and noble again, I'm surprised they're still in business with practices like that. I will stick with Amazon from now on. Boo!

We love coming to barnes and noble to look at what new books and such have come in because I always want to pick up the book and read it a little before I buy it. A lot of time our library doesn't have the brand new children's book and its hit and miss if half price has it. Amazon and other stores usually always has better prices because B & N sells everything at publishers price. so we come up here to look at things before we decide to get it unless we've gotten a gift card or a coupon. They have the discount membership. Honestly for us paying for a discount membership wouldn't pay for itself because the last time I got something shipped from them it took forever and honestly the in store discount we can get for free by just usually getting it on amazon or at half price books. We used my mother in laws until she let it expire. We love the smell of the starbucks and the deserts they offer, the starbucks in B & N are the only ones I will buy at.

I mainly come here because the Tarrant County Chess Club meets here every Tuesday evening (from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm). The coffee and desserts are always nice to enjoy after a hard fought chess battle. I've also bought a few books, toys, gifts, etc. The store is always clean, well lit, organized, and the employees are friendly and helpful. I've ending up saving on enough things to justify paying the annual fee for the Barnes and Noble membership card. If you're looking for a great place to play chess on a Tuesday evening, make it a point to stop by, but if you're looking for peace and quiet for a Tuesday evening you may need to look elsewhere because the bughouse players get a bit rowdy sometimes.

Of course they are over priced because they are a major chain. The employees are helpful and friendly. That being said...The choice of board games are limited, but the choice of books well makes up for it. They have some great music as well. I love that they have a cafe in it so that you can sit & read with a nice coffee.

I REALLY don't like how late this store opens- 10AM??? Come on! A lot of people start their day much earlier than that- 10AM is honestly just stupid. I haven't been wowed by this particular location, especially in the bargain sections. I find the same stuff in those sections pretty much each time I go, which is disappointing. The staff is fine and I haven't had any issues with them. I just really wish they would open earlier!

Service was good and a very generous selection of books. Absolutely love Barnes, however, I wish they accepted the Starbucks app for coffee purchases. My only negative is that I wish people came here to READ rather than teaching a 5 yr old child how to play chess or partaking in a group knitting party dead smack in the center of the cafe area where everyone else is READING.

Shortest Review Ever - The customer service here is TERRIBLE. End of story.

This place is definitely as good as it gets! I have been an avid reader since I was a child. I love coming here to look at the books and other related items they sell. The atmosphere is great for meeting with friends to talk and hang out or for studying. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Other Barnes and Noble locations have closed, but I am so excited this one is still alive and well!

I love bookstores so much. It's sad to see a lot of them going away. Barnes & Nobles stores are among the nicer ones . I like this Barnes and Noble store because it's a little quieter and not as busy as some of the others I've been to like down near Southlake town center-too noisy. If you are looking for quiet and nice then this is it. I have been at all hours of the day and it's always been the same

I recently purchased a Nook Tablet from this store. The staff members were very helpful, I received a free e-book with my purchase, and they were able to send it to my daughter instead of me, because I thought my grandson would enjoy it. They also ordered a book for me online because it is not yet available as an e-book. I got it with free shipping. They also told me about their free classes on Saturday mornings on using the Nook Tablet. We were traveling, so have not yet attended a class, but plan to this weekend. I'll let you know how that goes.
