"New Age Cocktail Bars It’s always a nice thing to see young Moroccans making their mark in a city that brings foreign investors by the droves—and the Hadni brothers have certainly done that in the shape of Baromètre. More akin to the speakeasies of New York and Barcelona than the posh hotel bars of the Red City, the brothers have come up with an innovative list of attention-grabbing cocktails that come in puffs of smoke and bespoke stemwareandcomplement crowd-pleasing gin and tonics and Grey Goose martinis, while the decor has more in common with a glamorous turn-of-the century pharmacy than your usual drinking den. Recently they’ve added gourmet tapas so you can make a night of it, but like the cities that inspired them, the later you go, the livelier it will be."

The 22 Best Restaurants in Marrakech, Morocco | Eater

"Despite Morocco’s high taxes on alcohol, you can still find excellent bars in Marrakech. Barometre serves especially imaginative mixed drinks in elaborate custom glassware, as well as beer and wine. The bar also offers a full, multicourse food menu to go along with the drinks, but don’t expect to find any tagines. Fresh, modern dishes include risotto-like mhamsa with clams, crab salad with prawn cream, and duck-leg confit. Barometre is perfect for couples or a night out with friends. Just be prepared for a check inflated by taxes. [$$ - $$$]" - Amanda Ponzio-Mouttaki

Went here for a cocktail or two. The atmosphere was beautiful. Dimly lit and the service was excellent. The drinks were expertly made and were delicious. We both really enjoyed our visit. I highly recommend the Churchill. Highly recommended if you enjoy classy cocktail bars.

Barometer is without a doubt one of the best restaurants and bars in the city. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by an elegant, stylish atmosphere that perfectly blends modern design with Moroccan charm. The staff are incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive — you feel taken care of from start to finish. The cocktails are on another level — creative, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. Each drink feels like a piece of art. The food is equally impressive: fresh ingredients, refined flavors, and a wonderful mix of international and Moroccan influences. Every detail at Barometer is carefully thought out — the music, the lighting, the presentation — everything comes together to create a truly special experience. Whether you’re looking for a classy dinner, a night out with friends, or simply one of the best cocktails in Marrakesh, Barometer is a must-visit. Highly recommended — a solid 10 out of 10!

This was one of our favorite places in Morocco. The best food I've had at a cocktail bar, and the best modern Moroccan food we've had in our two weeks in Morocco. Their cocktails are delicious and innovative, and most of their cocktails can be had without alcohol. We got the Churchill and the Rosée du Matin. The Churchill is great if you like smokey drinks, and the Rosée du Matin was nice and refreshing. To eat, we got the Tanjia cubes, cheese cigarillos, and the (obligatory) Moroccan salads. All were very flavorful and well seasoned. We also got bread rolls, which were tasty and a welcome break from Moroccan breads. Service was very attentive and friendly. Another plus is that smoking is not allowed in the restaurant part.

Tapas meet Moroccan food great fusion and clever ideas. The cocktails are mixed well and presented perfectly. The staff are attentive but not imposing and proud of where they work. Thoroughly recommend

First off, this place is kind of amazing. It’s stylish, proud of what it is, and backed by some of the best bartenders I’ve met. The drinks are on another level. If I could try every single one, I would. The whole place has a unique speakeasy vibe that feels elevated but still comfortable. The presentation, the flavors, and the creativity behind each drink really stand out. You can tell they take pride in every detail. It’s the kind of spot where you can sit back, relax, and actually enjoy a perfectly made cocktail in a beautiful atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Marrakech and love great mixology and good energy.

Had a great evening in Barometre - beautiful lounge bar, nice cuisine and excellent stylish cocktails. Didn't go for main dishes as i was not that hungry - olives serving and taste was great. Also had avocado with shrimps and octopus, all was pretty good. Cocktails - Jimmy Hendrix was the best i've tried, very refreshing. Crystal Meth was also good, especially the serving style. Tried a few others too, no disappointment. I would definitely recommend this bar A bit of minus for smokers in the basement, but the vent was ok

We arrived and realised we had booked a table in the smoking section. We asked our waiter if we could move and after a short consultation we got a table in the nonsmoking section. The cocktails were very imaginative and delicious. We had three starters to share and a main course. We were stuffed and the food was delicious. All in all an excellent night. Staff were great and very attentive as well as humorous. We would recommend this hidden gem to anyone.
