I was here for a pick up.Delivery found out they have an excellent bar and a dining area for family functions, as well as business functions.Excellent choice for a meet up and greet up, ALSO GREAT FOOD, WINE, AND PASTRUES. A fine selection of wine and spirits as well😋

The drinks are not lacking. Thank you bartender . We just had a drink and appetizer. The house bread and butter was hot fresh and yummy. The fried shrimp was pretty tasty hot and crispy .. Overall a nice atmosphere pleasant environment

Went during the week for a luncheon. Had the lunch buffet. Salad bar was fresh. Ranch dressing was decent. Pizza was good. A little oily. A decent Chicago tavern style. Pasta, mostaccioli with marinara sauce was taste less and hot beef was bland. Service was very helpful and atmosphere looked great.

Deep dish pizza was thick dough but super tasty. Calamari was some of the freshest around. The salad was great. Chicken Tetrazzini was delicious! Service seems like they were new. Had to ask a few times for the same thing.

We went for the lunch buffet today, Evergreen Park location. We waited at the counter to be seated and five minutes later a young man came and said he would be right back, and we waited until another lady came to seat us, as three servers walked by and smiled at us. The man that said he would be back ended up being our server, and he ignored us. He seemed too busy to help us, and was short and curt in his few interactions with us. I have never had bad service like this at this restaurant, we have always had a good experience prior. I called and asked to speak to a manager and he told me that the young man was having a bad day, and it must have been our fault for the bad service. I went with my 8 year old children, we were not loud, we did not make a mess, and did not ask for anything except water and the check. My daughter cried when we left, she asked me why he was so mean. We will never return.

Had a pizza delivered to my job. The driver was non English speaking and rude. He expected me to walk out to him to get my pizza. He was waving the receipt sitting in his car. Eventually he brought in the pizza. He took the receipt from me while I was still writing my name. Hence this location is on my ban list.

My friends and I sat in the bar area around midnight, but no one came over to serve us. I eventually went up to the bar and asked if anyone would be helping us. The bartender’s attitude was noticeable right away—I couldn’t tell if it was directed at us specifically, but it didn’t feel welcoming. She told me there were no more servers, which was fine, but the way it was said made the whole group feel uncomfortable. A few moments later, even her coworkers commented on her attitude, which confirmed it wasn’t just us. The music also lacked variety, which made the vibe a bit one-note. On the plus side, the drinks are ridiculously cheap, so that was a win.

What is it on 95th Street? They have great restaurants.... We usually order from Palermo's which they are on my top 10 but barracos is not far behind... I have to tell you one thing I absolutely love and it's something as simple as the bread that is served in the beginning with their seasoned olive oil is out of this world..... It was a beginning of a great start with our meal. We started off with a pizza which was delicious but we were to full to truly enjoy the Alfredo and lasagna that we had ordered, but we certainly did take it home to have another meal....... The server we had was very friendly and efficient....... The only issue that I came across was when we walked in there was nobody up in the front. Somebody came from outside who worked there and passed us.. a few minutes after finally somebody came to see us.... But overall was a good meal..... Will definitely be going back

Been ordering from Barracos for several years. Not sure what going on but the quality is not there any more. I have had over cooked macaroni bite, missing marinari sauce etc. On August 22, I order 2 pizzas at around 6pm. They said it would take approximately 1 hour for delivery. That is the usual time we expect. They were ringing my door bell within 13 minutes. Did not recognize the number at first. Pizza felt warm up on delivery. Not paying attention at first, my family was not eating the pizza the way they normally would. I normally do not complain, but I am offended that the pizza came so quick. It was dry, no flavor. The first time I've actually wasted my $65. I ended up throwing away 3/4 of each pizza. No one even wanted the leftovers.

Good gluten free pizza is hard to find....but I can stop looking. Barracos pizza is darn good. The crust is crisp and the toppings are so fresh. Really cannot tell that it's GF. Knocking off a star because the middle of the pizza is always stuck to the cardboard and barely edible. I took a bite of the regular pizza and it's delicious as well. Also a big deal to me that they offer shrimp as a premium topping. Hoping to dine in one day as I've only gotten carryout. Pizza here is pricey but worth it for GF!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile, and the inviting aroma of freshly baked pizza filled the air. Zeros all across the board bc when we went in, waiting to be seated we were ignored. The bartender (a female) did a hand signal like "nah". We didn't know what that meant and when I went to ask what was happening, she said they are not seating anymore. Very rude and gave me serious racist vibes. And I'm certainly not the one to assume someone is that until a situation like this happens. The funny part was before walking up to the bar, a random guest who was there came to us and asked if we were dining in or picking up (since he noticed we were waiting there for a while). We told him dining in and he said just go in and tell the bartender. 0/0. I hate that you have to give a star when clearly they are not worthy of 1 star from our experience. I also want to mention that when we called the other location to further inquire about hours and closing time for this location, they were basically like, "yea, they should have still been taking orders" *This happened 3 months ago. I just never got the chance to post to YELP.

You know how some people say LaCroix tastes like the flavor is SUPPOSED to be there? That's how Barraco's pizza is. The pizza was fresh, hot, and looked delicious. It just had no taste. First time in my life I've experienced such craziness. The wings were very good though. The drink Johnnie and Ginger (beer) was okay. I'm particular about cocktails and don't understand why certain restaurants serve them in glass cups. Does this look like a Pepsi? Service is okay. I don't even remember the male waiter's name. The TVs in the dining area had no volume. The ambience aims to be a classy restaurant, especially with this dress code sign in front, black table cloth and pricey pasta, but it's not and I won't act like it is. This is a lot of words just to say I won't return, haha.

I was a loyal customer during covid. At 1 of my visits the server "forgot" to return my VIP Black card I was given during covid. Since, no one is on the same page. EVERY SERVER GIVES A DIFFERENT DISCOUNT! NEEDLESS to say this is less than great. In addition, the Crestwood staff seems to be in a constant rotation! What was once an enjoyable experience has become a nightmare! Tonight I gave them 1 more shot! I'm done!

Charges a 1 year old full price and when I questioned it the manager refused to talk to us about it. Food wasn't fresh and kinda bland. Feel bad for the wait staff that gets the brush back from mis management. We come here twice a month and now we will never be back. I hope the manager and the owners see this!

Got the bread plate. Pretty good. Later wanted to heat up some garlic bread and left it under the broiler too long. Too bad I didn't have a full kitchen staff and a full Ansul system working for me...still I managed to catch it before the neighboring bakery burned to hell. Good thing someone's paying attention. Barracos was very accommodating for our group. Although it took a long time to get ahold of anyone, I understand the understaffing issues these days. Once at the restaurant we were satisfied with the service, and the food was very good. Only a few small issues was actually amazing for a large group. I would recommend this location.

When we got there we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE US AT ALLLL. I mean did even make eye contact and walked past us several times and didn't so much as hand us a water. No need to tell you our race, I'm sure it's obvious. We ended up moving to a table and were immediately greeted and had an amazing experience the rest of the night. It wasn't busy at the bar either there were only about 5 ppl so he wasn't busy he purposely made us feel unwelcome.

Delicious food, open 24/7, and a great dining experience! At 9 pm almost every other Italian joint was closed, so we decided to stop here even though we've only been for pizza and never dined in. IDK WHY EVERYONE SAID THE FOOD IS INEDIBLE AND TERRIBLE SERVICE? The Alfredo sauce was so creamy, and was served plenty of chicken. Gnocchi was tasty and the clams were okay.

I am beyond grossed out, sickened, disgusted and a bit furious. I had a taste for a stuffed Artichoke. I've gotten them from Barracos in the past, probably the Evergreen Park location. Tonight I picked one up from the Crestwood location, it didn't taste right, it tasted spoiled, so I dissected it and it was full of mold. I called, asked to speak to a manager, the person, Nathan said he was a manager, I explained to him the mold, he says no,no artichokes are green. He said send pictures, I did, immediately he said let me go speak to the owner. I said I'd like to speak to the owner. The owner couldn't bother to get on the phone . I will be contacting the health department, the village inspector and others.

We held a small graduation party in the dining area of Barraco's on 95th street (about 23 guests). The star was efficient, professional and anticipated all our needs. The dining room was spacious and the table was covered with a black cloth tablecloth, giving it a more elevated look for a party. I felt the food buffet table was a great touch since it left lots of room at the table and no need for "reaching". The pizza and salads were great and we had a lovely celebration where I didn't have to worry about anything! Great job Barracos!

Place order that was never delivered. Call to find out what happen spoke to Joey who was very rude. He said that the phone number on the order was the wrong number. Explained to Joey that even if the number was wrong the driver never rang the home doorbell. Joey then went on to say because of the weather and the crime in the area that the driver doesn't have to ring the home doorbell. Very poor customer service and will never order from this establishment again. Joey really needs to have some training in customer service.

I've had food from here many times before, but overall I would say that the in person experience adds so much more of a wow factor than just ordering and delivering/picking up. Don't get me wrong, the food is good regardless, but the time I went in person was much more ideal than spending a delivery fee. The environment was clean, well spaced, and it had a very calming and home like atmosphere. I was sat down by a very nice lady, but I honestly believe that she was the manager. They may have been understaffed, but I'm not 100% sure; nevertheless, the service was still great, and the food arrived quickly after it was ordered. We were checked in on, asked about our well-being, and treated with the upmost respect. I mean, it's truly all the courteous things a host should do. I got the fettuccine alfredo, and it was so creamy and delicious. Though I did not take a photo (apologies), I can promise you that the flavors and the spices used really made the dish (not to mention to nice presentation). I usually get their regular cheese pizza delivered (thin crust, plain cheese cut into squares), but I wanted to try something new. I couldn't finish the dish in one sitting, so I got to take some home and save it for later. Wonderful experience, would definitely go in person again!

six of us went to the Crestwood location, ordered drinks and pizza. It took 20 minutes to get drinks. we ordered pizza and when we received them they were not what we ordered. when the server took our pizza order. we explained to her the order was wrong. she basically blamed us for the error. we asked to speak to the manager and explained to her that we didn't feel like we should have to pay for both pizzas since both were incorrect and her only response was well you ate them. Yes we ate them. We sat 45 minutes waiting for them should we have to wait another 45 minutes for the pizzas. It was already 830 at night . we asked for napkins and the only thing she had were paper napkins yet every table in the restaurant had cloth napkins. The old fashions were terrible. dont waste your time going here they obviously don't care about customer service

She talks like a robot and acts like she's bothered! She hung up on me before i had a chance to tell her to tip the driver !! I called back and the " robot " said , tip for the driver . She must be related to act like that and think it's ok. She is the rudest biatch! if she hates her job, she should quit!

I was disappointed with the experience at this location. The hostess acted as though it was a problem to service my family and then stated it would be an hour wait, with over 6 open tables. Could be misconstrued, but it felt very racially charged. We opted to put our name on the list for a table after a suspected hour wait, only to never hear anything back. I surely won't take the time to frequent this location. I'll opt to be in a location that makes me feel comfortable and wants to be of service to me.

UN FN BELIEVABLE. I went to the lunch buffet with my 2 year old. The food was good and the service was good. It came time to get the bill and I was charged for TWO buffets. The waitress said she doubled checked ti make sure this was right and it was. They charged me for my TWO year old eating a slice of pizza 12.99!!!!!! This is unacceptable do not come here if you have kids. This is a huge market that they clearly do not want in the restaurant. I was going to ask for a catering menu on the way before I saw the bill. I've eaten at the EP location for decades. Ordered a deep dish pizza for our company that evening to try. Needless to say, they won't ever order from this place because EVERYONE GOT FOOD POISONING!! I called the next day to inform SOMEBODY and after having to call 2 locations, had to leave my name, number and issue. NEVER EVEN BOTHERED TO CALL BACK! Guess the only thing they care about is cash in their bank account than people getting sick! Phil's pizza will be our only pizza place from here on out!

I was happy to see the Buffet is back, however I was disappointed with the selection. I arrived at 130. The chicken was dry, vegetables lacked flavor, The pizza was ok but seems to be sitting out too long. My server was pleasant and was very attentive. The straw was No soap in Men's bathroom. Updating my review: I needed a late night snack yesterday, so my partner came here to pick up some chicken wings for me. It's hands down some of the best chicken wings I've had in this area. The sauce is amazing, it's actually spicy, and the wings were so tender and juicy and cooked to perfection. An order came with 12 wings, and these are actually decent size chicken wings too. I managed to have 7 in one setting, and I had a few leftovers for the next day. It was still delicious the next day, when reheated in the microwave. I can't say enough good things about Barraco's, and I truly haven't had a meal here that I didn't like. Again, this is a takeout experience, and I can only imagine how much more I'll like it if I'm served in person when the food is freshly made and piping hot. I also love that they're able to keep this location open literally 24/7. You'll have to come check it out yourself. I highly recommend their chicken wings and their deep dish. It's truly better than any of the chains I've been to (Buffalo wild wings, wingstop, Giordano's, Lou Malnati's, Gino's East, etc).

Before the original Barraco's fire in 2016, this was our favorite restaurant. The cook was always spot-on with the chicken piccata, marsala, vesuvio recipes. The steaks were perfectly made and the pasta flavors were perfect. Now the service and ambiance are good, but the food is not cooked well and lacks flavor. I don't know if they cut back on the quality of food but they certainly are not following the original recipes of their forefathers. Sorry Barraco's we will not be back. Maybe their pizza is good but we did not go there for the pizza.

This is my go to for catering. The prices are fair. The food is phenomenal. You need 100 pieces of chicken on short notice? No problem. They will accommodate you. I also like this location for take out. Order online and use a discount code. Grab a bottle of wine while they pack up your food.

Very bad customer service. Made a late night order just now and spoke with the manager and he basically didn't even know what they had on the menu. How is someone responsible for an entire store and can't even provide reasonable information. Asked certain questions and went in to pick up food and it's something completely different. They really need to do better hiring because even the woman at register is hostile. WILL NEVER BE RETURNING. RACIST PEOPLE. Didn't even give napkins. Food was good though.

This location is literally ass. They say they are open untill 2 but I'm here at 12:00 and they won't let my party of 3 sit at the bar. I just drove 45 minutes to come here and I'm a regular here. The website says the close at 3 and the MANAGER says they close at 3 and bar closes at 2. Super disgusted after I just traveled this far to come here.

Do not order from here! Barraco's has declined so much over the years which is very sad. I ordered my calamari (I love it fried) and one day I decided to ask for less salt. It's so salty already, so what could it do to ask for less salt in the breading? BIG MISTAKE. They delivered me GRILLED calamari that was not even fresh. I know what fresh sea food smells like. Obviously somebody in the kitchen wanted to be smart. You'll never get my money again.

I sent the below email after calling 5 times to speak with management. No response so I am leaving this publically in efforts it might help someone. On Monday 12/13/2021, I visited the Evergreen Park Barraco's location with my husband and grandmother for dinner. Our server was Alyssa. We ordered drinks, appetizers and ultimately dinner. When the dinner arrived - my entrée (Joey's Pasta) arrived cold and inedible. I alerted our server Alyssa immediately that my entrée was cold. She offered to "heat it up". A microwaved plate of food was not appetizing to me and since my husband had ordered a large pizza, I told Alyssa I did not want it reheated, but just wanted to send it back. She huffed and walked away - leaving the entree on the table. When Alyssa returned she flatly stated "We don't remove food from any checks- that's our policy". I asked to speak with a manager. Manager Carly comes to the table - visibly frustrated and repeated that the policy is that they do not remove food items from any customer check. I asked, "Even if it is inedible?" Carly responded that she herself had plated the pasta and that it was "steaming" when she did. Insinuating that I was lying. She again repeated that she would not be removing it from the check. Not wanting to cause a scene, I relented and asked Carly to box it up, which she did and brought to me. When Alyssa brought the check she sat it down and on the table and made a comment that the gratuity had been placed on the bill and actually circled the service charge on the check. To our surprise, there was a 20% service charge added to our check. I asked why the service charge was added for a table of three people? I was told that since "Covid"- the service charge is added to all checks and was then referred to small print in the menu that stated a service charge could be added. My husband and I dined at this location just over two weeks ago and no service charge was added. On my way out, I also asked one of the other customers that were seated next to us if the 20% service charge was added to their check. The customer showed me their bill and to my dismay - no charge was added I asked Carly for contact information for her manager or someone I could report this to. She told me the policy is also not to give email addresses to customers and Carly proceeded to write the phone number down for the 111th street Barraco's location and told me to call and ask for Vince. After two days, today- I was finally given your email to make a complaint. To be clear, the 20% service charge in my opinion was added as a final "dig" to my group because of the disagreement about the cold food. It was discriminatory in nature as it is clear that our table was singled out. I write this complaint because as a business owner, I would want to know if my employees were representing my brand and providing such horrible customer service. I have visited your restaurant on at least 20 occasions over the years and have never experienced such. I have attached a copy of the receipt from our table for reference. My hopes are that my email does not fall on deaf ears and someone actually cares the way customers are treated.

Honestly i worked here before and i think it was better back then but have to say ive ordered pizza for the first time here and its quite expensive and i ordered a stuffed cheese pizza that has crust hard as a rock so u might need to see the dentist after eating. Its honestly disappointing that a regular deep dish would be better then a "traditional stuffed cheese pizza" because its not cheese stuffed pizza . Also i think if the employees ate some of the food at the restaurant they would know more about the menu because whoever you got on the phones was talking to me crazy like i was something that wasn't on the menu like a pizza thinner than a thin crust( nickeys special)

I recently moved to Texas and I tell you there's no pizza I've found yet that can come close to Barracos. I miss this pizza and the fries!!! Is there any chance of you opening up in Texas specifically suburban area outside of Houston? Specifically Missouri City, TX? Seriously even your pizza slices are the best! All the best to you!

Nichols police death video in constant rotation on the televisions Pass on this franchise ! The general manager was only focused on the large parties and bringing in outside cakes for her larger parties instead of addressing the minor issue we were having. In addition, we requested the television be changed from the channel that showed the Nichols police brutality death video , continuously in rotation for at least 20m , until we just asked for the check so that we could just leave . THEY NEVER CHANGED THE STATION That video is totally inappropriate for a restaurant on a Saturday evening at 5p AND IN ROTATION .. !!!! We have been eating here for over 10years Oyster rockafeller have become fishy and gritty ( low quality prep) the last 3 visits and server communication has become low quality

We stopped going because the music/radio was so friggin loud. And, really, do we need a tv at every single table including hanging from the ceiling?? While the food is usually good, Mama Barraco should be ashamed of herself for having a simple pasta for $24 - give me a break - it's flour and water!!!!

Tasty pizza with good ingredients. I order here for fast delivery as well. They are open 24 hours when your stomach starts growling, you don't have transportation, and you want something delicious to eat.

Barracos should be ashamed of themselves. A long time pizza delivery driver killed going to bad neighborhood at 2 am to deliver a pizza. The drivers dont get any pay. Just tips and del charge. The owner Fran keeps a big percent of the tips from the drivers and could care less about driver safety. What a shame!!

I read all the reviews posted and it is shocking to me to see only one post to give this awesome Restaurant 5 stars. i will be the second as their pizza is second to none. I love thin crust sausage pizza and Barraco`s tops my list. my Wife and I eat at Barraco`s at least 2 times a week as we love the grill chicken and lasagna also. Very tasty dishes. We always knew that Barraco`s serves a lunch buffet but recently we found out that they are also offering breakfast so we each had a mushroom and cheese omelet with potatoes that you can get seasoned or unseasoned and toast and the whole meal was delicious. We plan on going back every week, as we have had great service from Michelle and John so far and I am pretty sure you can get Breakfast served all day. If I could I would give Barraco`s 25 out of 25 stars.

So I haven't sat down to eat here in about 7-8 years. I usually order take out and enjoy my phenomenally delicious deep dish pizza at home. My family has been eating from this location since I was a baby. But since the building burned down and was rebuilt, I wanted to go ahead and experience memories in a remodeled Barracos. Unfortunately, I was EXTREMELY disappointed. The seating is open and no longer warm and intimate. There isn't an upstairs anymore. There's just a bar area, and then a open room of dining tables with a mix of black hanging curtains. I do not like the new design of the restaurant whatsoever. I don't think I'll come dine in here ever again, especially knowing what it used to look like. BUT, I WILL FOREVER ORDER MY DEEP DISH PIZZAS FROM HERE. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! THEY HAVE THE BEST DEEP DISH PIZZA IN THE WORLD !!!!!
