I had an amazing experience at Bartaco! The margaritas were absolutely top-notch—perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and super refreshing. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the flavor really stands out. The tacos were just as impressive—packed with flavor, served fresh, and with a great variety to choose from. Each bite was delicious, from the tender proteins to the creative toppings. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a casual night out. Can’t wait to go back for more tacos and another round of margaritas!

This location is nice! Excellent service and atmosphere. The manager is welcoming as well as the staff. If you visit this location ask for Dorian. The cauliflower taco is a must, and the mushroom and falafel taco are close seconds. I ate at the location in North Highland years ago and I'm glad that I'm frequenting again at this location and the one on Roswell road. I'll definitely be back!

Great place! Delicious food and an amazing atmosphere. Menu isn’t big but you definitely will enjoy some high end Mexican food.

Soooo someone help me out here. I have been buying or going to Bartaco for years now and quality and quantity of food has been great UNTIL as of the last 3 months roughly. All of a sudden the price has gone up and the portions are smaller. They barely even fill the tacos. I buy this pork belly ALL THE TIME and from different locations, but from the Vinings location they try to look me dead in the face like I’m dumb and tell me that the portions size is right. 2 medium size pieces and half of the medium size pork belly in the middle? I am truly disappointed. I will stop purchasing from this location because ai also noticed they are shorting on the condiments that go with this dish. I will be making inquiries with headquarters. As a cook myself if one can’t identify how questionable something looks before putting it out…..that’s an issue.

The bite size tacos are amazing. They are the perfect size to get more than one. The warm lobster taco and the gazpacho alone are worth revisiting. The staff is plentiful but you have to wave then down for assistance. We saw our original server twice the whole evening. But the other team members were helpful and accommodating.

We visit bartaco at least three times a month and every single time the service and atmosphere are incredible. Darren is phenomenal. When my toddler started having a meltdown, he brought out a little treat that instantly helped until our food arrived. I also made a mistake with my order, thinking I had asked for lettuce instead of corn on my tacos, and the team fixed it quickly with no hesitation and no attitude. Consistently amazing service, great vibes, and delicious food. bartaco is one of our favorites!

First time ever going to this location. I've been to other locations over the years. We ordered the falafel, duck, fish, mushroom tacos. We ended up sending everything back except the fish and falafel. The manager was very kind and understood our concerns about what we were served. The guacamole was excellent though! Overall the manager made the experience better than what it was.

the atmosphere was very cozy, I sat down outside and it was fantastic. The food was good and came really quick,loved the orange juice,tasted exactly like the fruit. The waitress were very nice,but sometimes they were taking so long to bring something,my friend was asking for an spoon and they took so long,when my friend started her soup was cold already. Also another friend ordered an orange juice and it never came. They need to get better at this but we had a great time.

The best experience here!!! I went here on a Friday afternoon after work and it was fabulous! lol. I love food, can you tell ? The outside seating was preferred and I got a load of stuff to try and was exceptionally pleased by the taste and the temperature of the food. They did not miss. To start I had the salsa verde. I love that the green salsa was the right flavor for those round tortilla chips you get with them. They were warm and toasty but they broke easily and paired well with the dip. I ordered the grapefruit agua fresca because I love grapefruit and it was the perfect choice for me. On to the tacos. I chose the falafel, the spicy verde chicken, and the tuna on a lettuce Bibb. Chefs kiss. Tasted like I was eating sushi but without having to dip my tuna in soy sauce. The falafel was a little spicy but I don't mind a little heat. The chicken verde was excellent. I really had no complaints here. The service was marvelous. They do have a different system here though, so you don't necessarily order with a waiter but it's still pretty great because "dragonflies" (a name for their waiters) are floating around to check on you and make sure you are good. For dessert I had their churros and it Did Not disappoint. It comes with two dipping sauces. Chocolate and a white sauce I'm not sure what it's called but it was my favorite.

Bartaco Vinings PLEASE READ!! We went to this restaurant. Party of 20. The majority of us had never been. Our party consists of nurses and DR's. Beware of your drinks!!!! Know your bodies. If you do not usually feel a certain way listen. Be careful out there!!! We all felt nausea, dizziness, headaches, changes iWe all felt nausea, dizziness, headaches, changes in emotional status, extremely lethargic (tired) the next day. We would not have thought much about how we felt the next day. But when we got to work the next Monday we were talking about how we felt and it spiraled from there. I called the manager Kyle on Monday. He listened and stated he has never heard of such complaints. I explained that it was so Suttle a lay-person it would not have been noticed unless you have someone to compare it with. It's been on the News about people not remembering or not feeling well after drinking at a restaurant/bar and being taken advantage of. Again be careful out there. Warn your children, friends, family. Be safe!!!

Food Service and Ambiance all AMAZING! We ordered Baja Fish tacos, Soup and Street Corn, the food was all very good! The place was clean and really beautiful with all of the wicker basket light fixture, the bar area is center perfectly with any bottle you could possibly imagine. We ordered the Green margarita which is made with spinach-lol.... really good! Great service! Good Service Good Prices Good Food The best music! A good time!

Bar Taco is always a great idea before or after the movie theater. I love their spicy margaritas. Tacos are small so I always get three! lol. The ceviche is so good!!!! A must try! Love the patio, nice bar, easy parking and service is always great! They have some games for the kiddos and family to enjoy. Love this location.

I dined in at bartaco Vinings twice this year for lunch (once in July and once in September). The experience is unique because it's all done online from your smartphone. When you sit with your party, you scan a QR code (hope that it works correctly) and then use it to join a group order or begin your individual ticket. It's a very modernized approach and requires you to order your food through your phone. When it works, it is efficient & the server will come by with what you ordered in a timely manner. The struggle comes with larger parties on a group order because something in the online system seems to trigger the food to come out together, but without it being labeled to indicate who ordered which set of food. This can be problematic if there are dietary restrictions or allergies & the food is brought out together on a single tray. This caused a bit of hiccups during my second experience with a larger group (8-9 people). As far as the food goes, I LOVE their salsa and guacamole with tostadas. They make great shareables and taste so flavorful. I also like their tacos. My faves are the lobster taco, duck taco, and pork belly taco. I would probaly come back with my hubby or a small party, just because of the online ordering confusion, but it's a nice vibe in Vinings.

Every time we come here, there's some kind of an issue. Either the order gets messed up, or the food takes two+ hours to get to the table, or the service is terrible. Last visit, our food was given to a big table next to ours despite of them protesting it wasn't their order. They comped our meal, but the frustration of it is just too much. Which is terrible because they do have good food.

Bartaco in Vinings is my boyfriends and I favorite spot to grab quick drinks and a bite to eat on a Friday after work. The pork belly bowl is so good and all of their tacos are amazing. The margaritas are so fresh, I just love this place! The music and ambiance definitely set the mood for a great weekend!

Bartaco in Vinings has become a frequent stop of ours! We love their tacos and vibe. I will say it is frequently very busy on the weekends, so I would highly recommend getting on their online waitlist. We typically have great service from the managers, but I will say sometimes it lacks from the servers. I know being a server can be tough (i've done it), but at a restaurant like this where they use an online ordering platform. I would love to get more attention from my server. Our drinks tonight took over 20 minutes to come out, and you would have hoped our server was checking on that for us. I still love the food and it always is perfect. I will say the special Summer Squash taco they have is amazing! The flavoring is so good and it's very light. Definitely try that if you get the chance to go before the special is over. Overall I love bartaco! I just think there are some improvements to be made in the way the servers work with their guests

I've only dined in this location once but have been to their other locations. We can on a Friday or Saturday night with our two young kids and waited for about 15 mins. Once seated, our waiter was pleasant. He got our orders correct and checked in throughout the night. It did take a long time to get our food but he let us know the kitchen was backed up. Our food was good, just like I've had at their other locations. This is closest to me so I'll be back. I just keep forgetting that it's tucked back there.

The food portion is very small so be aware, the drink is also under size for the price so overall price is expensive. The food was on the salty side and the tortillas was stale so to make up for this they put a lot of sauce on the taco. The environment is nice, so I see why people would go here besides that service was bad, ask and repeated my self many times for my food and they still can't get it right.

This was not a good dinner at all. Service was slow , and the food was not good I got a lobster taco that had 2 little pieces of lobster and the rest was filled with potatoes... these are not listed in the description. It was yuck. That was a "one and done ". The waiter was trying his best but the place was just inefficient and the food wasn't good

I came to this location to grab lunch. Although I ordered it online, it wasn't ready when I arrived. Overall the food came out like warm as if it had been sitting; however, I enjoyed the meal overall. I will definitely be back for Dine-in!

I am writing this as I am sitting in the bar! This place never disappoints, whether we sit at the bar or the tables! Service is always fantastic, bartenders, food runners and other servers are ALWAAAAAAYS so helpful, extremely nice & helpful in every way possible! No complaints from me or my guests (usually my sister and/or my cousin) Food is always AMAZING, full of flavor & fresh! Our favorites are the pork belly, chorizo, sesame ribeye, and chorizo! & of course the guac + roja + verde!! As far as drinks go, we always get the barraco margaritas, but since we're from Brazil sometimes we get the caipirinha, if the vibe & music is right Anyway I just want to congratulate every single one of you for all your hard work & dedication!! We definitely appreciate it & will ALWAYS BE BACK!!! That's a guarantee!!

Love the new location and convenience to access the restaurant. There's plenty of parking at this location! The quality of food is what you would expect from a restaurant carrying the Bartaco nameplate. If this is your first time, expect high quality food with both meat and vegetarian options that will satisfy your cravings. Enjoy!

Very scant food for order. Servers do not want to serve. Basically order on the app and if you raise your flag they are annoyed.

Had an awesome evening and experience at my local Bartaco today. Lets get straight to the point... Ambiance- absolutely gorgeously decorated and designed. Very eco friendly with their paper products. Service- everyone worked as a team! All very pleasant and happy to help and ask how you are throughout the experience. LOVED THAT! Food: Paloma- very light tasting; could of used a bit more alcohol for the price. 3/5 Guac- love the warm chips ( whole chip lol) needs some more salt, in my opinion Ceviche- made with white fish, a tad but fishy for my taste but great pungent lime flavor! Fresh peppers, tomatoes, onion and avocado Pork belly taco- nice sweet flavor, with a light smoke taste. The pungent pickled red onions were the perfect cut with the juicy fatty pork belly ** drooling! WOULD GO BACK JUST FOR THIS Mushroom taco- nice hearty mushroom piece with some sort of spicy green salsa with cheese chunks- yum Fried oyster taco- yummy tartar sauce. Oysters could be a bit larger. A bit too little contents even for the small tortilla. Overall very tasty Ahi tuna on lettuce- initial taste: basil! Fresh and tangy upon hitting the palate. Citrusy/salty vinaigrette.

i love bartaco and their food is always 5/5. the food normally comes out so quick. however we experienced some delays this time. my friend placed an order for beans & one more taco at the same time and it took over 30 mins. this wouldnt have been a big deal but she was hoping to add it in addition to her other tacos and it came so late. also the beans came out wayyyy after the taco. at that point we were just ready to go. it was my first time at this location and parking was also insane.

We called ahead today for a party of 11. From the first phone call to the end of our visit, everything was spot on. All of the staff were friendly and went above and beyond. Normally, bartaco offers ordering through your phone. But since we had a number of kids and tweens with us, they brought out paper menus and spent the time to talk with the first timers on recommendations. The food was also very good. Service was quick with food and cocktails. We never felt rushed. We were allowed the time to visit and enjoy our meal. I've been to bartacos across the country and this location is now my favorite so far with Nashville dropping to second. Kudos to this location and their staff for winning over a pretty tough crew.

This place is so cool. Great vibes with indoor and outdoor seatings; great music. You use the scan code to order and everything gets delivered to your table, great service from all the staff. The food and cocktails are delicious. Ingredients are fresh! Highly recommend the place.

Finally made my way to the new spot in the neighborhood!! Dropped by with a friend for lunch. We opted to enjoy the nice weather and sat on the patio. The service was stellar. We were greeted by the hostess and she schooled us on how ordering works. They have QR codes on the tables. You scan, view menu and pace your order from your phone. You also close out your tab within this same website. I ordered the small guac, street corn and 3 tacos. Please note that the tacos are small. You get two solid bites lot of each one. Overall the food was tasty. I will order the guac, street corn and oyster taco again. Overall, this is a solid place to checkout. I love the patio, and as stated above, service was good!

This was my first time at the Vinings location and it was good. The atmosphere and music were a vibe! The service is a big reason for the vibe! Everyone was so nice, engaging and super helpful. If I was giving stars on atmosphere and service alone, I would give them 5 stars. But, the food was 50/50 for me. The cucumber salad, plantains and guacamole were amazing and worth returning for. The tacos were just OK. I had them on the bibb lettuce instead of tortillas and the lettuce was wilted. The mushroom taco was my favorite and the cauliflower taco was my least favorite. I also had the ginger mint tea carafe and while it was refreshing with the perfect amount of sweetness it didn't have much ginger or mint flavor.

Came out on a Wednesday night to hang out with some friends and just giving you a heads up, It is a cash free environment. Scan the QR code, Pick your drinks yourself, pick your food yourself and just totally enjoy your vibe. The manager Mike was very attentive, very knowledgeable on the food and choices, and especially knowledgeable on the drink options. The vibe was cool, casual environment with speakeasy type of people. I will definitely be back to enjoy some ribeye tacos, shrimp, tacos, chicken, tacos, duck tacos, and especially and the shrimp and rice bowl. Definitely come check them out if you're in the Vinings Atlanta area.

This place never disappoints no matter which location I go to. Parking is available nearby. Wait time to be seated, is tolerable. Taco's are small. You'll need 3 or 4 to feel satisfied especially if you go on an empty stomach, small but full of flavor. The mushroom taco is my favorite. I'm on a fit kick right now so I ordered a mocktail called a noquito. It was a great "sike" to my brain. Mexican Street Corn was yummy as well as the churros. The churros had a heavenly combination of crunchy and soft...sooo good! Ambiance is cool and retro, nice vibe for friends, family or coworkers/colleagues.

The food is tasty and staff are very nice, but I wouldn't order any togo orders from here unless you're willing to wait a long time. I order from here 3 times and each time, I had to wait a minimum extra 30 minutes from the scheduled pick up time. Last order I waited an hour from pickup time, when I was told it would only be an extra 7-8mins...good food just wont do pick up from here.

I haven't got the food yet but the waiter and waitress sets the tone. The guest greeter was Great. His name was Kyle. The waitress this evening seems to avoid me and I seen her give a full run down of the menu to the table next to me. She has a preference on who she provides excellent customer service and that isn't appreciated when I'm spending the same dinero.

This is more of a 3.5 for me. The food was good, and the wait staff was so nice. However, as others have mentioned, the portions are small. Here we go: Tacos: I got 3 tacos, and that would not have been enough if I only ordered tacos. This is fine, but I was surprised bc I wouldn't consider myself a hearty eater. I got: pork belly, falafel and chicken. I think the pork belly was the best, but the falafel seems like a sleeper hit. All three had some heat, which I loved but definitely could imagine it being a turn off. Appetizers/sides: The large guacamole was very small, in my opinion. It had good flavor, but just a small portion for two people. Spicy cucumbers. I had made these before and had simply forgotten about them! Very good and tasted good with the heaviness of the tacos. Mexican street corn off the cob. My friend wanted this, so we got it. Interesting, the portion of this felt quite large! I thought it was too heavy, but my friends loved it. Atmosphere: This is a beautiful restaurant. Would be perfect for a girls night out, date night or just looking for something hip without being stuffy. The manager came by several times and was so delightful. Our waitress and the hostess were also attentive and kind. No one made us feel rushed while we were there. Do I wish I had tried the churros? Yes, I do. Maybe next time!

This is our second time here and it wasn't better than the first time. Three people with three tacos each and two sides - after they delivered the wrong meal - it was all cold, not even warm so evidently been sitting awhile. We would have said something or asked for actual hot food but waiting on someone to come check on us took as long as getting the cold food in the first place. The servers and greeters were pleasant but our meal was nowhere near the $85 we paid for it. Sad because love the ambiance and need something like this in Smyrna but twice a bad experience.... We won't be back.

Tried this place while in Atlanta for work. Had the duck taco and pork belly. Both were great. Friends had other taco stuff and sides that also looked and tasted yummy! The service staff were attentive and responsive to the card system. The bar seemed to be hopping with great music.

This is my first time here and the place is very warm and welcoming. You have to order via your phone which was tricky at the beginning but it was easy to additional food. We both ordered 3 different tacos each and split chips/salsa and street corn. There were 2 small corn on the cob so it was easy to split. The salsa was delicious and great flavor. Enough food for lunch. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Bar Taco Vinings is an excellent spot for a great lunch. There are great vibes, great food and the service is on point!! Jeremy is amazing!! This place is an all time favorite and you won't be disappointed!!

No queso? No bueno. I hate the whole set up. It's like a fast food restaurant with a nice dinning room. The service is nonexistent. You order your own food and pay your bill without any contact. If you have a question, you can place a flag on your table. Someone will come by to answer. It's ok for like a girls night or happy hour. It's also extremely expensive. Portions are very small. You will leave hungry and broke. Lol. Beware of the default tip set at 20%. I am all about tipping 20-25% but not for this place. 15% max. It's just over all a disappointment.

Tonight was my second trip to this newly opened location, and I like it but our wait tonight was too long. That could be improved. We were told 30 mins max but it ended up being 40-45 minutes. The food is stellar and the service once sweated is great. There is ample parking across the street. Prices are reasonable and everything is electronic.

This location has come a long way. They have improved tremendously on all aspects. I've always enjoyed the food there but the service was lacking. They have definitely made big changes for a more enjoyable dining experience.

I had the duck and mushroom tacos and they were amazing (portions a bit smaller then most taco places) But made me feel better about ordering a few more soooooooo good I have no complaints!!

Disappointed, was out here in June and recall having a better experience at the restaurant, I placed order through Uber esta and quality and portion was disappointing Small portions, 4 tacos portions for duck and pork belly misleading, I ordered 1) pork belly (just enough for 3 tacos) 2) duck (just enough for 3 tacos) 3) mushroom (plenty for 4 little tacos) 4) cauliflower (plenty for 4 little tacos) Sides: Corn Esquites good serving size for the price Kids sides perfect portion for 1.50 Papaya salad ridiculous small portion Beans sofritos same so I ordered 4 taco options but only received tortillas for 3 of the meals. The limeade and pomegranate is bitter and I was instructed to just add ice. I think someone needs to revaluate that and it came in a iv bag from a hospital, just kidding but seriously a small plastic pouch. Kids meal was perfect and tasty for the price. Yes I tasted my grand daughters food, lol. I also asked for salsa and didn't get any of them. I spent $147.20 via Uber eats....

Don't love the order from your phone feature, but it's okay once you get used to it. Overall I think this is a good date spot - came here with both my husband and girlfriend on separate occasions. The Green Margarita is a must try! I love tacos but the ones here are tiny and leave much to be desired. My favorite thing I've tried so far are the plantains! The street corn is good too. If they could just make the tacos a little bigger and tastier, we'd be in business with a 5. Another good feature is the free plentiful parking all around and the beautiful scenery if you sit outside / anywhere you go in Vinings Jubilee is going to give vacation vibes! Come here more for the ambiance and drinks than for the food.

The food was really good here! In this order I rate my tacos flavor- bursting wise mushroom (10/10), cauliflower (8/10), Baja fish (7/10). Next time I will get all mushroom tacos because they tasted that good! The cauliflower was very good, it's not fried cauliflower so the texture is pretty soft, and the Baja fish was okay for a fish taco. The inside was spacious and cozy feeling. The hostess was very nice but the service wasn't the best. The server stopped by once to tell us how to order, but didn't come back for us to ask any questions about the menu or drinks. Mid-meal when she came back it was so quick we still couldn't ask any questions. The food runner also seemed annoyed so the service could have been better.

Subpar food and you, the customer, must do A LOT of work to order. Ordering from your phone just is not how I want to dine. I didn't know this ahead of time or I would not have gone there. None of our appetizers came out and by the time we got someone's attention, our main course food was already cold. $10.50 for a mediocre glass of wine that wasn't even served in a wine glass but rather a regular glass. Then when you go to pay, they ask for gratuity and options start at 15% and go up. You must select "other amount" to leave anything less than that. Who am I tipping??? I did all the work by placing my own order and inputting my payment method... tips are given for great service. Not just because. And someone bringing tacos and a glass of wine to our table is not service. It took zero of their time. This place needs to try again.

First time visit, but long time Bartaco fan. This is easiest the best Bartaco location in the Atlanta metro area. Service was exceptional. I can't say enough about the staff. They truly care about the customers experience. Food is incredibly delicious. Chef really added lots of flavor covering all aspects of a perfect bite. I look forward coming here again!

Save your time and money and go elsewhere. The menu looks great, but is poorly executed. Ordering and paying is on your phone. Maybe this is the wave of the future, but this isn't being executed properly here. We were a group of five with two separate checks. We both ordered about the same time, although I did order slightly before our friends. Most of their food got to the table long enough before ours that they were almost done eating by the time our food arrived. They ordered black beans and rice and the rice didn't come until they asked for it after they had placed an additional order and had to follow up on that because it was taking so long. Because there isn't an actual server it's nearly impossible to get service, but it's not counter service where you can go back to the counter to talk to someone. So this hybrid self-service but essentially with food runners just doesn't seem to work well. Moreover, it's extremely loud, so if you hope to have any reasonable conversation, choose somewhere else. On a positive note, it is really well decorated.

I used to really like BarTaco. However, I went in a Sunday for order pick up and it took forever. I ordered online for pick up. It take me 30 mins to drive to the location and my order was still not ready. I wanted another 45 mins to get my food. Very, very, disappointing!!!

I never order margaritas except from here. Fresh ingredients hand made. Everything is small portions so I order about 6 different items. It does end up being expensive.

I really don't get hype about this place. Just another fake Mexican spot with overrated and overpriced food. If you want authentic mexican food this place is not it. Most of the offerings you would never even get in Mexico. The good: The drinks are very good and fresh. Tne guacamole is good. The bad: The guacamole is great but you only get enough for about one of their huge chips. Speaking of chipos, why these huge chips that you have to break up in order to eat???? Why not regular sized chips. Less work and more functional. Another case of "doing to much" for the sake of being different. The tacos are tiny as hell for the price. No flavor, everything is bland. The black beans....no flavor and cold. I've been o BarTaco a total of 3 x's and everytime the black beans dissapoint. I can open a can of Publix black beans and have a better meal than this not cooked, bland mush. The salsas are also bland and they don't offer anything that has a eal kick. On my last and final visit, I had to bring my own habanero sauce so I could add some heat and flavor to my food. The horrible menu/ordering system. WHY????? SO I have to scan and enter a code to order? It is the most complicated system. Just give us a damn menu and keep it moving. I gave this place 3 chances, mostly because my friends kept saying how great it was. then again, I should consider my sources. IF I go back, it will be to sit at the bar and order a drink. The food and hassle of ordering isn't worth it.

Such a letdown. Can the tacos get any smaller? I don't think I'll come back to this place.
