It's a cute establishment. Indoor and outdoor seating is offered.
I only had the ceviche, two different types of taco, and tea, so while this is lengthy, my experience is limited to that.
I love ceviche, but I probably won't have it from anywhere for a while after trying there's. I enjoy cod, but not the cod included in that. The cod had an odd taste, almost like a processed taste or maybe it was a preservative. I am not sure what was going on, so I avoided it. I didn't send it back because I do not send food back. I'm sure the dish has its days when it's a hit. This day was not it.
The employee who directed me to my seat described the taco size being comparable to number signs they have at each table. I ordered based on that, but that description was inaccurate. The tacos were tiny and tasty, but nothing unique that would cause me to choose Bartaco for $4-6 each over other establishments that may offer a larger, same-tasting taco for the same or less.
One item I loved was the tea! The tea was good, and the carafe was $4 or so. I was able to share that, and we had a few pours each. Way better than $3+ for fountain drinks.
I'd go back to explore the bar part, but I'm done with the taco.
Oh, yeah, and they don't have chips. Like, if you order salsa, you get round tortillas and you'll create your own chips with them. Maybe that's part of its aesthetic or concept. I could just be ignorant about their mission and what they do. If that's the case, ignore me.
