A West Colonial favorite for Sichuan-style broths and AYCE hot pot. Regularly noted by local guides for value and variety, from tomato and bone broths to spicy beef tallow with plenty of meats and veg.

Of all the hotpot places I've eaten in orlando , this one by far has the tastiest broth. We had the tomato, and the spicy szechuan. Our waiter was very kind, and checked on us often. The sauce bar was good, and I really enjoyed the food. Compared to other places I would day there are only 4 types of meat, lamb, pork, and chicken which is less than most other hot pot places, and there were less options for veggies noodles and seafood. But they really have most of everything you would want to have good hotpot. I love their mushroom selection. I will definitely be back. The price is very competitive for the quality of the service!

Google
Veryyyyyy Authentic Chinese hot pot place. I would say 80% of the people that come here are Chinese and the servers are definitely more fluent in Mandarin then English. It’s almost hard to communicate with the server if you speak English. However, everything is self service so you don’t really need the server most of the time anyways. The meat quality is really good compared to the other hotpot places in the area and this place even serves blue crab with the $27.99 price tag. Lowkey surprised about how fresh the crabs were for the price. The sauce bar is also amazing with the different varieties of sauces to choose from. This is definitely my go to hotpot spot in the China Town Area.

Google
Servers' were very friendly and professional. We said we wanted more spicy, and we were very satisfied. But you need to be careful when asking for the extra spicy as it is really hot if you say you want extreme hot. Sometimes, other all you can eat hot pot restaurant's food quality is terrible so that my stomach is messed up the day after I went there. But I HAD NO PROBLEM AT ALL! This shows that the food quality was good. Also, they give us a meat whenever we ask for extra. This is very good because meat can go bad pretty easy if they put it outside the all you can eat section. For the soup, I recommend tomato soup than mushroom. Mushroom soup was not good to be honest, but the spicy soup was awesome. If you want fancy all you can eat hotpot restaurants, go visit other places. BUT IF YOU WANT TO TRY AUTHENTIC ONE, you come to the right place.

Google
Decided to try this fairly new hot pot restaurant with my parents and it did NOT disappoint! I chose the Sichuan soup at full spice (be sure you can handle the heat!). You can determine your heat level or there are soup options with no heat and all were quite good. There was a bar area with LOTS of veggie, seafood, meat and noodle options along with a large selection of sauces and toppings. The food was delicious and the meal was topped off with a really yummy jello dessert. The staff was super attentive and friendly as well. We will definitely be back!

Google
Update: We have eaten here 5 times now and I rate this as the best authentic Chinese hot pot place in Orlando. It's a bit rough around the edges for Americans who are new to hot pot, but if you have a Chinese speaker or familiar with Chinese hot pot in general, it is considered good. Very good as far as authentic Chinese hot pot goes. We liked the flavors of the mushroom broth and spicy broth. Establishment is clean and well kept, not faux fancy. Service was pretty good, not amazing, but polite people. Best to have a Chinese speaker with you to get the most out of the experience.

Google
Very clean and nice restaurant (even their restroom looks pretty). The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. The servers checked on us often, unlike other Chinese restaurants I've been to. The food was fresh and we had so many different options to choose. The price was decent ($25 per person). She also recommended a Chinese dessert at the end which I enjoyed a lot. We'll definitely come back.

Google
Super fresh ingredients, clean environment, great selection, outstanding service, amazing flavors! Curry broth is very special! The shrimps are HUGE and sweet! 49 items you can choose from, except for the meats. Deserves a five star restaurant!

Google
No.1 spicy hot pot in Orlando area. Definitely a recommend authentic hot pot restaurant. I do strongly recommend the Beef Tallow Soup to work as the base soup. But it's better to start with the light spicy level before you confirm where is you tolence line. If you are the kind like 0 spicy tolence, tomatoes soup will be the best choice.the last pic is the special dessert. You won't miss it

Yelp
Prepare for the SPICE! My husband and I love hot pot and each place we love has a speciality that we come back for. Bashu Hot Pot had the best broth -- we always get the Sichuan Spicy and the Beef Tallow, and have never been disappointed. Their broth is the most consistent in flavor and quality; if you request extra spicy, be warned that it gets intense here. The pots have a little sectioned off area that holds the peppercorns and other aromatics, and the longer the broth sits, the more those spices diffuse into the broth. My husband nearly died when he ordered the Extra Spicy and learned his lesson by the end of our visit. But, the broth is so good, we always come back for more. The selection of meats, seafood, and vegetables is fresh and varied! We've brought some picky eaters and everyone is always able to find stuff that they like. The sauce bar is also great. They have two dessert soups that were a wonderful and cooling end to our hot meal. I had two bowls of each! Service is always good here. There's only a few servers, but they somehow always stay on top of things. The restaurant always looks clean and I love the decor inside. It feels like we're eating at a stall in a traditional village or something like that -- I don't know how to explain it. My only tiff here is that their drink menu is all bottled or canned, unless you're doing hot tea and water. It's not a big thing, but is good to note. Overall, I highly recommend Bashu and I've never had a bad experience here. 5 Stars.

Yelp
First time to come here for dinner to celebrate girls friends' birthdays We arrived at 6 pm The place is not r too busy We got our table and the servers explained the menu and what to do and stuff they are so friendly and nice! Then we got our hot pot and we went out to get our other food, like meatball, veggies, seafood etc!!! Server bought us the sliced beef, sliced lamb, sliced pork and duck blood (so good) The food are amazing and there is a sauce making station! Food are good and service is amazing However I have the spicy hot pot and I was sweating so maybe turn up the ac a little more lol!

Yelp
I was craving hotpot so bad since it's cold outside and this hit the spot !! We planned on going to juicy pot which was sadly closed. So this was the next best and it didn't disappoint. It was also basically full which is a great sign on a Monday night We got curry and beef, and I got the sichuan broth in medium spice level. It was a little too spicy for me lol but cured my craving for mala spicy and I toned it down with the sauce I made from the sauce bar! The sauce bar is stocked with all the essentials like herbs and sesame oil and chili oil. Tbh I wouldnt recommend the house sauce as it contains peanut butter which didn't go well with the food, but it doesn't matter since there's so many other options ! As for the food itself, there's a wide range of veggies and seafood. The meat options are thin beef pork and lamb, and the beef was perfect! Very thin and melts in your mouth. There's clams, krabstick, eggs, shrimp, fish (don't recommend since it has a strong fishy taste), shrimp balls. And also the essentials like fried tofu, mushrooms, and cabbage !! Our server was also kind and timely and patient since some friends hadn't been to hotpot before. For $29 the service and quality is definitely worth it :)

Yelp
Ready for round 2! This restaurant was fantastic. Very authentic, and cultural setting. Everyone was really welcoming and in good spirits. You start off selecting which soup base you'd like, and then two meat selections, it's all you can eat and they'll continually come around to see if you are ready for more. There is a buffet style selection where you can grab all of the veggies, seafoods, and extra hot pot delicacy's to add to your meal & a sauce bar to get your meat nice and saucy. Be careful not to plate more than you can actually eat because there is a charge per pound of leftover uneaten food. If you're in the area you should definitely come visit this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
4.5 Stars Pretty good place for AYCE hot pot. They had a large selection of Asian greens as well as offal. My party and I picked out the ingredients we wanted from the buffet bar and also ordered some items individually (namely: pig brains, duck blood, and duck intestines). We also ordered some dessert as well. There were only two dessert options: the Szechuan Jelly and a shaved iced dessert (I forgot the actual name on the menu). The shaved iced was really good. The ice was shaved so finely that it melted like cotton candy in the mouth. For the AYCE, it was $28 per person but all of the extra ingredients we ordered really bumped up the price and it came out to be around $55 per person including tip. Service: The service was pretty good. Our server was incredibly enthusiastic in recommending specific things on the menu we should try. She was also quite attentive and all of our food arrived quickly. To sum it all up, this place is quite affordable if you want to try an AYCE hot pot with a variety of ingredients to choose from. I would refrain from ordering additional ingredients if you want to keep it "budget friendly".

Yelp
Came here for an early dinner. The location is decorated in traditional Chinese style architecture. The tables are a bit taller than normal and can be tiring for diners. It was also really close to my body which resulted in splatter during cooking. As for the food, it's ayce hot pot. The meats are ordered through the server and other items at at the bar. The buffet bar and sauce bar did not appear super fresh and some looked unappetizing. Service was excellent.

Yelp
Good food good service. Definitely recommended to everyone who lave hot pot. And it is a all you can eat restaurant

Yelp
Love, love, love this place! We were looking for a new hot pot spot during the cooler weather and I found this place! Right off of Colonial and Governor is a corner multiplex area. There is a variety of Chinese businesses here and I was able to easily find Bashu hot pot. First the hostess will walk you to a table and hand you a menu. You select your soup flavor and decide on a single or double hot pot. Either way, their pricing is based on every individual. Adults cost $27.99 and my 6 year old was $9.99 for all you can eat. Then you walk over to the buffet and select the vegetables and seafood you like. Don't forget the side sauce table. I like to mix green onions with sesame oil and a little bit of the chili oil! Yum, yum! My soup was very spicy but I got what I asked for. Honestly, it's much more spicier than I thought so I drank loads and loads of ice water to help me out. Also, the waitress brought us some Shabu Shabu style cut beef and lamb. Shabu Shabu is a very very thin slices of meat and when you add to your soup, it cooks very quickly. Just remember to adjust your pot settings located on the sides of the table. P4 is perfect to cook and then I always lower to P1 when I'm ready to eat. You may want to ask your waitress for an extra bowl to eat out of. My soup temperature became too hot (even at the lowest temp) and just placing in a different bowl helped me to lower the temperature even more. I love how the bench tables are really big and a little private. Each table holds 6 - 8 people. We will definitely take our friends here next time. Cheers to another amazing spot!

Yelp
Visiting in Orlando, first time there, had a great time. Service is very good, beef meatball is amazing, MUST try.

Yelp
Prob one of the best hot pot places in Orlando!! I was super excited to try this place as my friends been talking about it. It's prob the newest hot pot places in Orlando, and I have to say, the owner really put some effort into making this a fully authentic experience! As you walk in, the decor and ambience is almost the same as some Szechuan hot pot places in China. Booths are in cute little huts, and even chairs looks like those old bamboo chairs. When it comes to food, meat and all other food selections were super fresh, soup bases were flavorful and heavy, they also had a pretty good variety of sauces. But what really pleasantly surprised me was the beef oil soup base, dry spice dipping powder for your cooked food, and the meat in freshly sliced rolls. All these are super authentic, and very very rare in Orlando!! I wish it had more food varieties. They are missing some key hot pot staples like tofu noodles, wide/flat sweet potato noodles, etc. Overall, I would have rated the entire experience a 4.5 stars, if there was the option. Not bad still!! And I would totally come back.
google avatar

Pinyapon D.

Yelp
Good hot pot spot. Four star for the variety of meat. They only have lamb shoulder, angus beef belly and pork belly to choose from. They have many meat balls to offer though. The soup base is kind of new for me. I have tomato soup base which is good, sour and a little sweet from tomato and a lot of tomato pieces. Sichuan style soup is good as well for those who like sichuan pepper, a little kick in you tongue. Inside the restaurant is clean and the servers are attentive. The prices are resonable, $27.99 for adult for 2 hours limit. I'll be back if I'm craving for hot pot.

Yelp
5 stars solid! Great customer service and prompt. Delicious hot pot broth and very fresh selections. Cleanliness 5 stars too and perfect date spot. Roomy and family friendly! I'm definitely coming back for more.

Yelp
This is my first time here. The taste is especially good for the price. Excellent choice for Chinese hotpots in FL. I will definitely be back. They have a variety of sauces to complement the meat and vegetables. The meat and vegetables were boiled in broth with the right amount of Chinese spices, and it was so delicious.

Yelp
Visiting Orlando with family, it s a nice place to have hotpot. Very cute decor and the staff is attentive, the food is fresh and a lot of meat/veggies options. Will be back if we travel again.

Yelp
This is it! Best so far. 4.5/5 stars for Bashu Hot Pot. Food: Everything I was looking for (quail eggs, stuffed fish balls, fish tofu, fish cakes, etc). Wish there was fish ball with roe, but alas- haven't found that hot pot place yet. Not that many vegetables/rice cakes to choose from, but had a good selection of seafood, mushrooms, noodles, etc. The spicy soup and mushroom soup bases were pretty good, and you can ask to adjust the spice level. Sauce station had all the essentials. I'm docking 0.5 star because the self-serve food was just left out in the open (buffet style) with no covers or anything, which I am not used to... Set-up: Individual pots or one large pot that you can split into two soups. You can control your stove heat. The pots are not set into the table. Everything (except the meat/soup/drinks) is self-served. The waitresses were super attentive and friendly! Ambiance is solid; I particularly enjoyed the interior design choices and the Chinese TV channels on a nice medium volume. Pretty clean, as well. They sanitize pretty heavily after guests leave! Also, we came in around ~1:30 on a Saturday, and it wasn't too busy. BTW, masks required (as they should)! :0) I would 100% come back. They're also right next to a BBQ place, as well as a bubble tea shop.
google avatar

Cindee P.

Yelp
This newly opened hot pot joint was good. The server was nice. Everyone was wearing masks and distancing. It's a buffet-style set up for everything except the meats. The burner controls were unclear, but we figured it out. The food was pretty good, but not as many options as other hot pot places. The bathroom was pretty.
google avatar

Lona C.

Yelp
Currently my new favorite hot pot place in town! Most of the hot pot places I know around here either serve their food through conveyor belt or by placing your order with a waiter or waitress. This is the only one I know in Orlando that does AYCE buffet-style. And if you're like me, that's just the way I like it! At every visit I have made so far, I've always been met by super friendly and attentive staff. Food is super fresh, and they have all of the basic ingredients that you'll need to enjoy a decent hot pot. If you like getting ingredients that require more hand activity, like shrimp, they also have disposable gloves on hand for you to use upon request. If I have to say what I like most about this place compared to other hot pot places, it would be the fact that I can control how much of any ingredient I want to take, and not have to wait or ask someone to get it for me. Overall, it's a nice, casual place to enjoy some tasty hot pot.

Yelp
My boyfriend found this place and wanted to try it out. We came in for dinner. All you can eat hot pot. We ordered our broths. I had tomato and my boyfriend had mushroom. We had to order our meats from the waiter and grab everything else from the buffet bar. We had lamb and pork belly. There is a variety of options. Seafood to veggies. The sauce bar had a few options. I thought it was alright as I have gone to other places with more variety. The quality of everything was decent. Broth was good. Service was not bad. The only thing I did not like was that there wasn't any soup bowls available or soup spoons. When I eat hot pot I like to drink my soup too. We only had plates, plastic eatery and plastic containers. Maybe due to staffing and supply shortage? My experience would have been better if I was able to comfortably drink soup and eat hot pot. I wouldn't necessarily come back anytime soon.

Olivia C.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend come here all the time and everytime we come they are so nice to us and they always remember us when we come in! They have so many broth options and the selection in the back is phenomenal!!
google avatar

James P.

Yelp
To be honest the experience started off rough. It took them a long time to acknowledge us and get us seated. Had some issues with the burners. Service was ok, it was busy so I couldn't be too hard on them. Food overall, was good. A lot of options for veggies and seafood.
google avatar

Katie R.

Yelp
I felt like I was actually in China. We were one of the first to arrive and then I was the only white girl in the room! I loved it lol. You sit down and you get a server throughout the meal as far as the basics and drinks goes. You pick a hot pot base - I would not recommend the Sichuan one. This particular plant is called the toothache plant because it numbs your mouth quickly. Imagine an entire pot of that but, then super spicy! Makes it hard to taste the food. I'd recommend the mushroom and curry. Lots of ingredients and your basic hot pot toss ins. Nice atmosphere.

Zijian Z.

Yelp
If u ever have tasted real good hot pot, u won't give any rating but one to this restaurant. The materials are not fresh, especially duck intestines. There is some yellow things stick on the duck intestines which may be fats.
google avatar

Yelp
My fav hotpot restaurant in Orlando, clean, good selection of food, good soup base, and very very friendly waiters and waitresses!!
google avatar

Yelp
Highly recommend if you love seafood. Cute robot everywhere. good quality food. If you want to be seated right away make reservations it's usually a long wait.

Yelp
My favorite Hotpot place in 2021 ! They are brand new, have a fresh ingredients, clean environment, and a buffet style to pick up what you want; noodle, veggies, seafood, fruit, sauce, etc. Except meat everything that you can pick up, you should told server a meat what you want. They have a lamb, beef, and pork. All of the servers are very professional, everytime they come to us to check what we need. Also, I see they keep cleaning buffet bar and sauce bar for a safety. The one of the reason I want a visit here again is they have a different option of noodles. I tried vegetable noodle, udon, thin noodle. Their udon is really soft like a mochi, I defenitely suggest you guys try that with a spicy broth. A vegetable noodle with mushroom broth might be the good choice for a vegan.
google avatar

Uyen H.

Yelp
This is such an underrated spot. It is AYCE with unlimited access to the salad and a sauce bar. Meat options are limited since they only have beef, pork, and lamb but the meat looks incredible fresh. Plus, there is always extra toppings like tofu, fish cakes and seafoods at the bar. The broths were super spicy and delicious, probably the most authentic broth I've had in town. Services was also very good, servers checked on us frequently and took dirty plates off of our tables. The dining room design is also super cute with booths that look like little pavilions. Overall an amazing spot that is wayy too underrated!
google avatar

Ervin D.

Yelp
Very new location. 1000% legit spot. Very small meat selection but huge buffet options from seafood to noodles and veggies. This place will not disappoint you for being new. Suck it up and give them a chance. Very nice people. Very attentive and they say you're welcome. Just eat here and enjoy the food. It's a buffet. Buffets can't go wrong unless it's Golden Corral. Yuck!!! If you don't know hot pot, google it. It's a good experience. Bring your servant with you if you don't feel like cooking your own food and take a picture of yourself with your servant feeding it into your mouth you lazy bum.

Saira M.

Yelp
The people are super sweet, attentive, kept the place very clean. The food was amazing! You choose your broth and they keep bringing you the protein you want! I love that the have all the food refrigerated and stocked ready for you! There's a great variety of sea food, veggies, noodles, and a sauce station! It will not disappoint!! Highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Meng L.

Yelp
Very clean place. Enough space for social distances. The soup base is the best I had so far. I can drink the tomato base by it self! So rich! So beef tallow spicy soup is basically the traditional Chongqing hotpot style, but not as spicy. Love it
google avatar

Eric F.

Yelp
Very clean and nice restaurant (even their restroom looks pretty). The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. The servers checked on us often, unlike other Chinese restaurants I've been to. The food was fresh and we had so many different options to choose. The price was decent ($25 per person). She also recommended a Chinese dessert at the end which I enjoyed a lot. We'll definitely come back.
google avatar

Ann W.

Yelp
My family came here for a celebration and we were very disappointed with the food and service. There were very limited choices of meat and vegetables. The broth was overwhelmingly spicy. When we asked for more plain broth to dilute the spiciness, the staff got annoyed and gave us an attitude. Overall, the food was sub par. There are much better hot pot places in Orlando for the same price. The only good thing I can say about this place is the decorative interior. We do not recommend this place. Much improvement is needed.

Jack Z.

Yelp
Great hot pot place. By far some of the best dipping sauces selection for hot pot places in Orlando. Their ingredients are fresh and you need to order meats and oyster from the menu which is part of buffet. I love their tomato's broth.
google avatar

Jovial C.

Yelp
The best hotpot in town and it is buffet style! Highly recommend the tomato hot pot soup base and 5 oysters per person are included with the package. All you can eat crabs, shrimps, octopus, clams and more!! The owner was very nice and friendly too
google avatar

Peter C.

Yelp
Not quite sure what to expect at first. The food was high quality, the broth delicious and authentic (we ordered half and half spicy and mushroom), and the service impeccable. Yes, ALL YOU CAN EAT. Great value, really wished there were a place like this in Miami. But alas!
google avatar

Hanna M.

Yelp
I like the variety of the hotpot items in the buffet area!! They are fresh. Staffs were nice and helpful. Great meal
google avatar

Katherine N.

Yelp
I'm disappointed to say that this restaurant did a 180 degrees from my first visit. I loved it the first visit from the amazing service to delicious food. This visit, the service was horrible and I kept getting the wrong things. I asked for the spicy beef broth, but I was given the Schiuan spicy. I asked the server multiple times if she's sure it's just the spicy beef and she guaranteed it even though I know my broths and I've seen both types at that very restaurant at my table the other time to know. So I spent the entire time scooping out the peppers, peppercorns and oil because she wouldn't bring me new broth. With the meats we only asked for beef and pork and was brought lamb, which really upset my stomach more. I understand that it's a different era these days, but service should not be like this because it seems careless. I don't think I'll be back here again and I don't think I'll be referring people here anymore.

Sunshine C.

Yelp
This is a very authentic hot pot restaurant. I am come from Sichuan. I grew up with eating Sichuan hot pot. The hot pot here is like what I had tasted in my hometown. Sichuan food is very spicy. The staffs are very friendly include the owner. Make sure you tell the owner what level of spicy that you can handle. If you do not like spicy food, there are bone soup that you can order, which is not spicy at all. The food is very fresh. It's a buffet, you have 2 hours to eat. I love it.
google avatar

Julian K.

Yelp
Amazing quality meats and very clean establishment. This place has a good array of sauce options and decent amount of vegitables. Definitely would recommend.

Aimeng G.

Yelp
Great hotpot place! Reasonable price with good variety of food! Love all those seafood especially!

Maianh T.

Yelp
I don't ever write reviews, but I was soo disappointed with my experience. It was our first time going and we've been to most of the Hotpot places around in FL. Once seated it took her 25 mins to take our broth and drink order (had to call for her so imagine if we didn't). The options were nice but not fresh at all and sauces were never refilled. The night we went was busy, but for us to constantly ask for a drink refill 2-3 times was excessive (never got our refill). Our waiter attended to everyone but us basically. Interior was nice. Wished it was a 10/10 experience.

Haina H.

Yelp
Authentic soup broth with a good variety of things to try. As someone who comes from Chongqing China, the soup is quite close to what we have in Chongqing. Nice decorations as well. Could be very spicy for people who are not good at spicy food, just FYI...

Fire _.

Yelp
An amazing experience with great service. It was our first time ever going to a hot pot and our server was very understanding and guided us through the whole thing. 10/10 will be coming back again.

Jay L.

Yelp
Selection were small, for getting things to cook there were no gloves..... flavors were pretty nice though

Tai L.

Yelp
Nice hot pot place. I had enjoyed at this place. Veggies and the meats were fresh. I will definitely go back soon. It will be more fun when you bring more friends to eat with.

Jscob O.

Yelp
I've tried a lot of different hot pot places and grew up on the stuff, and this place had everything you could want, quality as well, and ofc tastes great

Ling J.

Yelp
We went there today the service was good, they are very nice, Tit don't have a lot of choices for the food! Their so many hotpot in orlando better than this one,
google avatar

Britney P.

Yelp
the interior was really nice and clean. the hotpot was pretty good but the selection is a tad small

Kiet P.

Yelp
We went there late at night and we all enjoyed our individual hot pots. They had a good variety of food and they were fresh. We had beef, pork belly, lamb, blue crab, shrimp, and all the other standard items like shrimp balls, veggies, tofu, etc. The restaurant is new so the decors look nice and pretty! All the servers were so friendly to us and attentive too. I highly recommend it!

Yingqian J.

Yelp
very disappointed, rude sever, fake smile, crab is frozen and not fresh, the place is clean, but the people are not friendly, all you can eat in one price but actually not, they only provide 5 oysters for each person without telling you when you placed your order. and they also hide the oysters, so if you don't ask they don't give you.
