As a vegetarian, I 1000 percent approve of the vegan food here. It is absolutely delicious and I wish there was a location by my house. I immediately marked the restaurant in my maps so I can make sure to come back and pass the word. So delicious!!! Everything my group got tasted amazing. The seaweed salad, egg rolls, and all of the “sushi” rolls had so much flavor.

This is Daikon’s sister and opened up about 5 months ago. They both have the same owner so we weren’t surprised when the menu was the same but with more Thai options. Like Daikon, this restaurant is just as delicious. Our favorite was the sesame chicken rice as it’s unique in its flavor and texture. All of the rolls was extremely delicious, but our favor was the chefs special: golden knight roll (we can see why it’s a special). For dessert we had the molten lava cake and we couldn’t believe that it was vegan. The chocolate was sweet but not too sweet and it was tasty overall. We also tried the deeper fried bananas and then coconut cream was the best part. Bananas were well flavor and fried. Service was excellent as the staff know us by names now. Fantastic restaurant overall and we’re proud at how far they have come. Definitely one of the best vegan restaurants on our list so it is highly recommended!

OMG! 😳 You have to check out Basil Vegan Thai & Sushi—it's so delicious, it might just convince you to go vegan! They serve the best vegan Thai and sushi in Las Vegas! What I love is that they don't rely too much on fake vegan meats; instead, they use tofu, fresh vegetables, and jackfruit for their sushi 🍣 and Thai dishes! Honestly, you’d think you were eating meat, but it’s all plant-based! It’s simply 🤩 amazing! Picking a favorite dish is tough because everything was fantastic, but the standout for me was their incredible plant-based sushi! We tried the Salmon Nigiri (roasted seasoned orange bell pepper on sushi rice), Tuna Nigiri (roasted seasoned tomato on sushi rice), and Eel Nigiri (cooked eggplant on sushi rice topped with sweet soy and sesame seeds). Plus, we sampled a variety of other delicious rolls! For the Thai food, we had Pad Thai, green curry, and fried rice, among many other dishes! They even offered a refreshing lemongrass tea. And for dessert, you can't miss the warm sticky rice with mango—such a delightful touch! The black sesame cheesecake was to die for! If you find yourself in the area, definitely give this place a try, whether you're vegan or not—it will make you want to embrace veganism! They also have another location on the northwest side of town called Daikon, which is fantastic as well. What makes Basil unique is their emphasis on Thai dishes, all of which were absolutely amazing, and I didn’t miss the meat at all! As an omnivore and a foodie, I know when I’ve found good food. I hope you’ll support this incredible local gem—I want them to thrive because their food is just that good! Support your locals, and eat local! 🍽️❤️ 📍500 East Windmill Lane, ste 145, Las Vegas, NV 89123 🌟Free Parking HOURS Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM Sun- 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM

I rarely have experiences like I did at Basil! There was one person serving and taking orders and the place had a few customers and she did it all with speed and accuracy and humor. And the cooking, wow!!! Hats off to the chef 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 Best food experience ever, in Vegas! Will be back 🤤🌱🍣🍜🥡

Google
LOVED our 🌱 family lunch here. Delicious food and kind service for my mom’s birthday. Standouts for me were the black sesame cheesecake and tofu skin satay - wow that peanut sauce. 3 generations of family members enjoyed. Everything was good. Definitely recommend and look forward to returning to try more sushi rolls - so much variety. Thanks Basil Vegan Thai & Sushi for such a special experience. 💚

Google
OhEhmGeeee!!!! I luuuuurve this place! Only been open a couple weeks and I already have a 2 dessert habit. That's no small feat for a gluten free vegan. Stand outs are the crispy spring rolls. So delicate and lovely, sushi is to DIE for! Pad thai is a no brainer, redcurry was fire! The flourless chocolate cake and lemon bar both gluten free, and creamy Thai iced tea. I will be spending all my money here.

Absolutely loved this vegan spot. My wife and I love the Daikon location on the north side of town. We were so happy to hear something was closer to Henderson area. The menu is very similar to Daikon but a bit more Thai plate options. I think it's great overall and the food was delicious. We'll definitely comeback and look forward to trying everything we haven't.

Google
Vegan for the animals — thank you for making compassion delicious. 💚 I’m so happy to see a new vegan restaurant open in Las Vegas — we absolutely need more places like this in our city! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Service was amazing — our server was super friendly, upbeat, and had such a fun, positive energy, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I’m genuinely excited to have a new vegan spot to support. Wishing the team the best of luck and much success — highly recommended! I’ll definitely be back soon.💚

Yelp
Outstanding Vegan Thai & Sushi Experience! Las Vegas Basil Vegan Thai & Sushi is an absolute gem for plant-based food lovers! From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about vegan cuisine. Recommend the following - salt & pepper calamari, golden knights roll, sesame chicken rice, tropical dragon roll and golden state roll. Roll were both creative, fresh, and absolutely delicious. A must-visit!

Yelp
We love this place. The last time we went to LV was about 3 yrs ago. We tried Daikon Sushi at that time. We are trying this restaurant now that is the sister restaurant of Daikon. We ordered more of Thai style of dishes instead of the sushi rolls. We got Satay, Tom Ka Soup, Nigiri Sushi, Basil Eggplant and Tofu with Black Rice, Malaysian Curry with Black Rice, and Molten Lava Cake for a dessert. Their portions are big. Thus, we took leftovers to our hotel.

Yelp
I've had my eye on Basil Vegan Thai and Sushi for a while. I'm a flexitarian, and this day my flex was for a solid healthy and vegan meal! As a bonus, many of the menu options were also gluten-free! Happy hour Monday through Friday 3 to 7 PM was another added bonus! I ordered the Ramen, the portion was huge, and the flavor was delicious. I even had a little leftover for the next day! The server was great, engaged with all of his guests and was very attentive. The restaurant was clean and decorated with a simple elegance and a clean lines. Because this restaurant is so close to my house and has an outstanding menu, I will definitely be back.

Yelp
When you don't eat meat, it's so refreshing to see a place that caters to that! Some of the products they use have soy, just for an FYI. I ordered the seaweed salad, Malaysian curry rice (with purple rice), and mago sticky rice. Seaweed salad you can never go wrong as long as the texture is correct and this one was. The curry had lots of flavor but I did wish the curry was a bit more loose. It was a thicker consistency. Still really tasty. For the mango sticky rice, the mango was delicious....but the rice was over cooked. I am a lover for mango sticky rice, so have to be particular about the taste and texture. The service was great. Loved how patience and sweet each person was. If I had any questions they were willing to assist. All in all if you are a vegan eater, this is a great place to try!

Yelp
Back again because it's soooo incredibly good. And the menu is so expansive (not expensive) that it will take us a while to try everything, but we will get there.

Yelp
One our FAVORITES in Vegas! Basil Thai is a sister restaurant to Daikon Vegan Sushi in Summerlin. The menu overlaps quite a bit with some new additions as well. Fav things to order: Curry Ramen Sesame Chicken Spicy Tuna Inari Pockets Any of the sushi !!

Yelp
My partner and I were starving from our road trip and were so thrilled to find this amazing spot with reasonable prices! Everything we ordered was delicious and food came out quickly. Additionally, the restaurant was very clean and spacious. Will definitely go back if we ever drive through Vegas again.

Yelp
Another city, another vegan sushi spot visit! I had some time before heading to the airport and was very glad I came upon this spot. I was originally split between here and Daikon, and was happily surprised to see that some of the sushi menu overlaps. We got the spicy garlic edamame to start. Could use a little more salt, but had great garlic flavor and was a good amount of spicy. We also got the sesame "chicken" rice plate. The "chicken" had a great texture and the sauce was also amazing. This may have been my favorite dish. We also got 3 rolls: sunset roll, yuba roll, and crunchy spicy tuna. The sunset was the best of the 3 but all were good. I would probably skip the spicy tuna roll next time and get a more special roll. For dessert, we split the lemon bar. It was a bit firmer than I expected but still delicious. The lemon flavor isn't super tart, which just so happens to be my preference for lemon dessert. I came in around 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn't super busy. The waitress was very kind and came by to refill water several times.

Yelp
I went there with a huge group of people two weeks ago. These are the also the owners of Daikon. Not only is the food great, but the staff is warm and friendly. I have always been a fan of the black rice sushi rolls, especially the black garlic roll. I ordered that with seaweed salad (huge portion with carrots too) and some "unagi sushi". The "unagi" is eggplant dressed up like grilled eel. OMG! My first time trying it and it was so perfect. Tender, the sauce was really great and it was just the right balance. I'm not vegan, but I am pescatarian so I eat eel. This was better than any of the grilled eel I've ever had! I know I have to go back, just for the "unagi" The place is clean, cute and there is plenty of parking. The parking lot is bigger at Daikon, but it's always busy. I definitely recommend it.

Yelp
I love this place so much that come here once a week! The food and drinks are all amazing! Made with love. Customer service is always 10 out of 10. Everything is so good but if I had to pick my top 2 it would be the Thai iced tea and rainbow roll. Also look out for monthly food specials! Ok I'm getting hungry it's time for me to go eat! :)

Yelp
My partner and I found this place on Yelp and couldn't believe there was an all Vegan Thai restaurant. Normally, we get menu items substituted for tofu, and ingredients removed for specified requests at other restaurants. This was easy and convenient for us. There were so many options to choose from. We couldn't decide but will most likely give them another try when we're in town. Too bad we live in another state. This place would be our regular place to visit. We're glad we found this hidden gem. We ordered the tofu larb and Malay curry. It was very fresh, crisp, delicious, and simple. The simplicity of the ingredients is what made it more delicious. The kabocha and simple taste of the curry was really good imo. The larb was good we ended up ordering another one togo after dining it. The presentation looks great, and the most friendliest staff!! They even have fancy takeout bags. Ambience is great with nice subtle Thai music, nice and spacious restaurant, simple decor, and the place was SPOTLESS CLEAN. Overall, very pleased with the quality of the ingredients, the tasty food, and BEST OF ALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Maddy was really nice to us, smiling throughout, and got us everything we needed. Oh, and the portion and prices are decent as well! Highly recommended. Will be a returning patron.

Kristi W.

Yelp
100% plant based and delicious!! We had sushi rolls and the seitan chick'n. Everything was excellent! Can't wait to go back and work my way thru the whole menu!!
google avatar

Rochelle J.

Yelp
Not too shabby! I was hoping that daikon two would open here in Henderson, but we got this instead. This restaurant may have some of the items that the Daikon restaurant has, but not all. My friend and I went here for dinner one night and found hair in our food, but they took care of us and didn't charge us for the sushi that had the hair. I do appreciate that! Customer Service is great. The ambience is quite nice. The food is not bad. Little on the pricier side then I'd like to pay, but I'm glad that there is another vegan restaurant here in Henderson.

Yelp
Apparently, this restaurant opened two months ago, in February 2025. It is the sister restaurant of the wildly successful Daikon Vegan Sushi in the northwest part of town. This location is in a highly visible retail location that positions it for success. The interior is immaculate, with no expense spared on decor and kitchen quality. For my first visit, I had the Volcano Roll and Pad Thai. For dessert, I enjoyed the Chocolate Molten Cake and Lemon Bar. The food was good; not oily. Service was friendly and professional.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is great! So happy it is close to my house! All the food we had was great! The service was excellent! The ambiance is nice and relaxing.

Yelp
So happy this location is close to my side of town. Big interior and super clean. Service was fast at 5p on a Sunday but once we were leaving the place started to get pretty packed. The food was delicious! We tried the calamari, a sushi roll and entree. Can't wait to come back again soon !!
google avatar

Yelp
Oh I don't know it was delicious had an amazing time cool vibe lots of items to choose from can't wait to go back

Yelp
After work I had an appointment in Henderson, and since I'm not in the area often I'd figure I would try the new basil Thai vegan! The menu is very similar to daikon sushi, their first restaurant in the northwest, with a few separate options that aren't sold at the other location. I picked options that aren't similar to daikon as I live right next to daikon. The Tom yum soup was spicy and tangy, very flavorful and I liked that it had a lot of "stuff" in it. The yuba satay was really good! I definitely would order that as an option every time. I also ordered the basil Thai, which I've never seen veganized and it was also really good, I ordered medium and spice was on point, I think I still prefer curry but this was a nice separate option for those who don't like curry as much. The restaurant had good space and it was cute and similar style to daikon decor. Staff was quick and friendly. Super happy for daikon branching off to the other side of town! Love their food!
google avatar

Cathy S.

Yelp
Came in to try Basil. Familiar with spot but Basil just opened and I wanted to try it. Walked in before 9p and it was happy hour. Got the fried egg rolls, tuna rolls, curry ramen and basil eggplant rice. Everything was delicious! Love vegan dishes as it's clean eating and the ingredients are so very fresh! Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
I'm very pleased to have dined in! I like that they make all the food themselves. The best part of my meal was the entree. I ordered the sesame Chik'n and broccoli. Very tasty. The broccoli was steamed and while part of me wishes they had sauteed it, I can appreciate that it did not take away from the main meal enjoyment Cucumber salad I'd give a 4/5. It's priced right. They cut the pieces up well. It was a small portion but so was the price ($2). Wasn't a fan of them using sweet Thai chili sauce with it. Prefer a vinegary taste Egg Rolls (3/5). I like that they actually make these from scratch. That said its not something I would order again. It was very greasy and I couldn't really enjoy the filling I will be back. I love supporting vegan restaurants and will try the curry ramen next time (:
google avatar

Justin A.

Yelp
Simply put, this is some of the best food in Las Vegas--vegan or otherwise! The tom yum soup was packed with bold, tangy flavors, the Malaysian curry was rich and aromatic, and the satay had the perfect texture. The service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is pure good vibes from start to finish. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Yelp
Food so delicious, service was great servers so friendly I will be back for more. And recommend this place.

Yelp
Just tried this place and WOW -- so good. The flavors are on point, everything tasted super fresh, and the vibe inside is super chill and welcoming. Service was friendly, prices were fair, and the whole menu is vegan, which makes ordering so easy.

Yelp
Great presentation. Staff was very kind and helpful. Fairly priced. Definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
The food is amazing ! So delicious. I'm so glad we found this spot. We had so much fun eating and laughing. We went with the suggestions offered us and were so glad we did 10/10

Yelp
Lets start with WOW!!! The restaurant is spacious. The food was delicous! And the service was perfect. We went on Memorial Day and I am so glad we made it! We will be back.

Robert W.

Yelp
Great food, but I ordered a buy on get on free on door dash for the golden state roll and I got one serving and when I went back in they said that the one packaging was both serving in there, now mind you I would be like ok normally but I ate here yesterday and the same one size serving I got yesterday is the same size as the buy one get I got today. Sorry for you first bad review. But please don't mislead people.

Faith B.

Yelp
Food was amazing!! Papaya salad orange chkn with broccoli and crispy spring roll food came out quick and service was great!
google avatar

Eugene M.

Yelp
I've been here twice now, and everything I have tried so far has been amazing! It's hard to believe that everything is vegan with such an expansive menu! The veggie fritters were the heaviest/most filling thing that I have tried here, and it's definitely a shareable thing. The staff is kind, and the layout of the restaurant is comfortable!

Heather S.

Yelp
Amazing service Best Vegan Thai and Sushi I've ever had will be back! I had a little of everything on the menu we loved the green curry rice
google avatar

Jason C.

Yelp
Food was very fresh, place was clean, and the staff was very friendly. The chef Mindy was attentive and made sure I had a great experience. Highly recommend
google avatar

Sophie D.

Yelp
Very friendly staff, good options, everything was great and I think it's cool they offer small ingredients or sides to take home after your meal. Cool concept and I enjoyed all four items we ordered very much. Good portions as well!

Angelina C.

Yelp
The most delicious vegan sushi I have ever had and it was all for an amazing price. Amazing service, the interior was calming and clean, and my water glass was always full. I will be returning in the future. I was only able to take a picture of the first order of sushi we got, because we devoured everything that came afterwards!

Trusted Review S.

Yelp
Love this place for eat in or take out. Super fresh, not just heavy gluten fried foods. The nigiri is so good!
google avatar

Lil R.

Yelp
Food was delicious! Just wasn't able to get a receipt. & after we asked we still wasn't able to get one! Be WEARY. Always get a receipt and don't be like us.

Jacqueline H.

Yelp
This place is so good!! And it's the same owner as Daikon sushi!! The tropical dragon roll is my favorite! This place didn't disappoint!
google avatar

Miriam G.

Yelp
We have been eagerly awaiting the opening of this restaurant, hoping it would be a great option for sushi but on the healthier side and.. we are thrilled! The food was delicious, we ordered multiple dishes and every one was great. We then decided to order the pad Thai (even though we were all full) and it is easily one of the best I've had. Can't wait to go back and go back often!

Elisa M.

Yelp
We went back recently for my boyfriend's birthday with his family. The food was great & the service was also good. Our server was actually from Daikon & even though he was working alone that evening & several other people came in after we arrived he was still very attentive & social.

Ronnie R.

Yelp
Today was my first "delicious" experience with Basil! I am gluten intolerant and have not enjoyed sushi for three years as no one I have asked can accommodate me. I saw their write up in our paper, the RJ, and had to try the very next day. I had the Crunchy CA Roll and some Tom Yum soup. They were both beyond delicious and my plan is to work my way thru the menu. I also have to add, that when I placed my online order I made a mistake and the staff was happy to correct. Don't miss this gem.

Madam A.

Yelp
Woah. I don't remember the last time I've had such a fresh meal. The food was amazing with such beautiful presentation. The service couldn't be better. There was only one server and she did an amazing job. The ambiance is so chill and I love their little art on the wall. Such a cute place with a vibe that screams healthy and happy. I'll be back as often as possible.

D R.

Yelp
The best vegan sushi place in Vegas. Great sushi rolls, and pad Thai. The sesame chicken is the best item to get. The lemon bar is simply amazing. The service is with a smile, and very kid-friendly.

Arnulfo G.

Yelp
This place is amazing. The sesame "chicken" and a number of sushi rolls are some of the best vegan dishes I've ever had.

Chung Ying Lee L.

Yelp
anyone who comes here must try the salt n pepper octopus (mushroom) strips... also, their papaya salad us a great deal... small portion, but also small price...

June L.

Yelp
This new Thai vegan and sushi combination restaurant has excellent food and service, everyone should go there and try it, the sushi just looks like real sushi, if you don't know what is made of.

Hien T.

Yelp
Surprisingly great food! Will definitely be back when I am in Vegas and want vegan food.

Stan C.

Yelp
The food blew us away. Please order the spring rolls. Seriously the best I've ever eaten. Basil rice and Pad Thai were well executed as well. Service was friendly and welcoming. These people really care about their guests. Can't wait to go back for more!

Hart J.

Yelp
I ordered take out from Basil Vegan Thai and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Tom Yum soup, spring rolls, pad Thai and Thai tea and everything was phenomenal! The restaurant is super cute and has a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very friendly! We will def be back to try the sushi!
