This Japanese fusion? Pasta restaurant is well-priced and is very well worth your time. The pasta is unique and never dissapoint. I might call it one of the most enjoyable pasta experiences here in NYC. The restaurant is well-maintained and very clean. If you are considering a visit, I would highly, highly recommend.

Had a wonderful dinner here. Food was excellent . Had a pasta to start , delicious chicken and home made ice cream. Ryan our server took attentive care.

The parmigiana crusted asparagus is a must have here. They have some good dishes overall, and the tonnarelli is a fun signature dish. A nice spot to bring someone from out of town or just have another casual place to go. I wouldn't put it on any top NYC restaurant lists.

Always a favorite! Great Japanese inspired Italian dishes. Each dish from salads to pastas are made clean and simple while tasting wonderful.

The food is fresh and delicious and you always feel welcome! Oscar is such a great part of the restaurant, eat at the bar if there’s space! The spaghetti Nero with white sauce is my go to! All the fish is great.

We came here for my niece’s 11th birthday. We bought a cake with us to celebrate her birthday. We ordered some pastas and few appetizers, the food was so blend. We all don’t like it. All we can taste it s the salt. It was salty. The ONLY dish that we think is okay was the uni pasta. After the dinner I asked the waiter to bring out the cake, they said they will charge $6 each for our cake, I think it was ridiculous that they charge for cutting the cake for this kind of casual dining restaurant. Most restaurant don’t charge that anymore because of the economy. Anyway I asked the waiter if they can waived the fees, I can just order more dessert to make it up. The waiter asked the chef (or owner?) and they said no. My 11 years old niece was so disappointed that she cannot have her cake. Anyway I will not come back again. Good luck with your business.

I finally got to try the giant cheese wheel pasta. It's exactly as how you would imagine it. Cheesy and pasta-y. Octopus appetizer was amazing too.

!Check your receipt! We had an extra charge for the bottle of water, which we never ordered. An extra charge was removed when asked. Came with a group of friends and one of them had to send his (squid ink) pasta back to the kitchen since it wasn't cooked properly. Tagliolini pasta was ok, but not as creamy as expected. Overall servers were kind and professional, but not happy with the food.

Used a Pulsd voucher and had a wonderful experience. Each dish was excellent - the duck salad, salmon, seafood risotto and almond flan with passion fruit sauce. And the lychee martinis were terrific. But what made this really lovely was that every staff member was so friendly and attentive. Superior service like this stands out and makes all the difference. We will return to Basta Pasta!

Had such a lovely time here. Pasta is home made and paired memorably with delicious counterparts in every dish we tried. Do the cheesewheel! The NA cocktail was lacking but tried a sip of the regular cocktail and it was more balanced. Was too full and almost foolishly skipped dessert but circled back on the fruits with yogurt cream and wow -- sharable and delightful.

Inattentive. I went in after the lunch rush. The place was barely half full. A waiter passed by me twice taking other people's orders. The lady next to me vigorously flagged him down and ordered. He did not turn to me. I waited and then flagged him down. He made a patronizing "calm down" gesture toward me. Eventually he came over and said "Patience! We're busy!" Reader, I left. The Malaysian place two doors over is delicious, friendly, and attentive, with a Michelin recommendation.

When Japanese met Italian, that's what Basta pasta represents on some of its dishes. Tried 4 dishes and I would rank the following 1) grilled fish of the day. Good portion and you can taste the grilled flavor. Cooked nicely, tender and well flavored. 2) Spaghetti Nero ai Frutti di Mare with white wine. Has good variety of seafood, flavorful and I think best with white sauce 3) Polpo- portion is small, just one tentacle and some accompaniment. The burnt end is really nice. It's expensive for its size. 4) Tonnarelli con Prosciutto e Parmigiano- a popular choice and prepared on table side on a wheel of Parmigiano. Felt portion is a little on smaller side. 5) Paccheri al Ragu di Basta Pasta- is decent but not as memorable

Had a bad oyster but felt bad since it was happy hour so just spit it out. Wine list is extensive but the BTG is really lacking, even the white wines just taste like stainless steel capri sun... Pasta is ok. The famed uni pasta has some uni in it, and is creamy, but the flavor is really flat. The cheese wheel pasta looks cool, but is also pretty flavorless. I asked for extra pepper on both pastas, and it helped a bit. But needed a bit more salt and acidity... Place gives off first date vibes.

I have never heard of Basta Pasta before, so I didn't know what to expect. All I knew was that it was Japanese-italian, but even now I'm still not sure what that means. You wouldn't find your typical red sauce with spaghetti at this restaurant, but do expect to find pasta dishes with more reserved flavors. The food at Basta Pasta was pretty good; some dishes were gimmicky (e.g. the pasta served in the Parmesan cheese wheel), but the star of the show was the Bagna Cauda. That warm anchovy cream sauce was amazing, anything you dipped in that sauce was just bursting with umami. Aside from the Bagna Cauda, everything was decent. But with so many good Italian restaurants in nyc, it's pretty hard to make a standout pasta dish. The service was Basta Pasta was good, they constantly refilled our water and checked up on us. The waiters were super friendly and making jokes, so it's nice to see that at a nice restaurant. It definitely got crowded at the restaurant, but too crowded that you couldn't have a conversation. Overall, the experience at Basta Pasta wasn't bad. Will definitely come back again for the Bagna Cauda!

FOOD - p good, good flavor. we were kinda forced to get the lunch prixe menu which comes w soup, pasta, tea/coffee, and gelato. soup - normal like egg drop soup, I hated how many chickpeas there were in it but other than that good for a cold day. Fish Roe Pasta - pretty good, generous amount of roe and good flavor. the spaghetti also has a good bounciness to it and not just dry and soft. mango gelato - a bit icy. PRICE - kinda $$ bc the better pastas u had to pay like $10 more SERVICE - they were super empty so I felt like our server was super energetic at first but kinda gets in ur face but overall I appreciate the enthusiasm but I felt a bit awk AMBIANCE - feels kinda fancy but it was so empty lel

Found this place while shopping in the neighborhood. The happy hour attracted our attention, but due to Mother's Day the HH was only offered at the counter. Started off with vegetable medley with anchovy dip, not bad but not amazing considering carrots and cucumber (fillers) were part of the medley. More advices and beets would've been nice. Then proceeded with seafood Nero pasta and spaghetti with roe, the seafood was delicious and fresh! You know it's fresh when the squid isn't chewy; the scalloped also was tender and melted. The spaghetti with roe was flavorful, but a bit overpriced for just fish egg over spaghetti. Along with the pasta we ordered rose and pinto grigio; I would avoid the rose it tasted strange and overly dry. The restaurant has a semi-formal feel to it.

It was my third time here, the food still good. But the service hasn't been fully recovered from pandemic I guess. We wait almost an hour for our pasta, which is unexpected. Overall the food and environment is great.

Unlike many NYC restaurants, you do not feel like you are being extorted to eat here. The portions are reasonable and this place has a very neighborhood feel. In fact, a cast of regular characters seem to meet at the bar. Service has always been efficient and the ambiance is cozy without being too loud. It's a great go to place especially if you like the Parmesan wheel.

I'd been frequenting Bar B for years and kept hearing about its sister location, only a few blocks over. If you read my Bar B Yelp review you'll know that I have always loved their food. It has taken a very long minute, but I've been to Basta Pasta and the world needs to know it. Why does the world need to know, you ask? Well, it is mostly because the food is fresh, delicious and so carefully crafted. But also because the dining room is lined with art, the service is effective, smoothly non-intrusive and welcoming. Unlike the Bar B minimalist modus operandi, Basta Pasta wants you to linger and explore the curated menu. This place is casual but looks like some place belonging somewhere other than New York City. A nice place for high quality food worthy of good company. Pro tip: Check their social media for off-the-menu dishes and specials. The Japanese-Italian concept sounds insane but it just makes sense when you're there! If you want to surprise a guest be sure to ask for any Pasta "con Parmigiano e Prosciutto," so that they bring the big cheese tableside! Be sure to tell your waiter if you've visited Bar B before. (And if you haven't been to Bar B, check them out when your knees feel sturdy.) Lol

Such good pasta! They even have the pasta that they spin in the fresh cheese wheel! Staff was wonderful and great wine menu!

Really delicious Italian food in a great location. Came here before a movie because I was craving Italian and this place delivered. We got the tortino di granchio to start. There wasn't as much crab as I expected, but it was still delicious. For the main, we got the black spaghetti and the gnocchi. The spaghetti could use more flavor. However, the service was great. The ambiance was very cute but it was a little warm. They didn't seem to have AC! Overall, still a solid Italian place.

Always the best at Basta Pasta. They unique flavor of Japanese fusion delicious dishes. The hostess, Mari is always so friendly, kind and friendly. Our servers, Mercedes and Trinidad were absolute a delight. Very friendly, kind and attentive. Trinidad was always making sure we had clean plates. So kind and so wonderful. Keep up the amazing work!

I found Basta pasta highly overrated / not worth the price. Food 2/5: The reason Basta Pasta popular I think is the pasta in a cheese wheel dish. However I think they cook too many pastas in the wheel because I actually didn't find the pasta that cheesy / it was thinner than when I've had pasta cooked in a cheese wheel elsewhere. I also got the grilled vegetables which were lower quality than I expected for a $20 dish. Service 2/5: Nothing special but nothing bad on the service side. However I found it a bit loud / kind of hard to have a conversation with my dining partner.

This place was recommended to us years ago by one of my husband'a expat co-workers who loves this place and always raves about the cheesewheel. Years ago based on his rec, my husband and I came here but my husband doesn't like cheese so I didn't get to try the cheesewheel. This time I either wanted an Japanese influenced pasta or the cheesewheel. Thought of ordering the spaghetti with tobiko but took a look at the posts on Yelp and decided against it as it didn't look as interesting. The cheesewheel was the perfect choice. Had a choice between fussili and spaghetti and ended up getting spaghetti. It was a fun experience. The server rolls over a cart with a wheel of parmigiana and mixed the hot pasta directly into the wheel to coat the pasta with cheese. They were kind enough to split one order into two plates for me and one kid. They topped it with prosciutto and basil. Delisioso. We started the dinner with scallop crudo. The sauce was very refreshing with the sliced beet and the scallops were fresh but we didn't enjoy all the different flavors. Could have done without the red pepper. It ruined the taste of the dish as it was too overpowering. The octopus was delicious and we ate every last drop.

Came here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised to realize it was Italian-French fusion. I didn't know at first because we went as a recommendation from a coworker and I didn't really look up the place beforehand. We just got the recommended dishes (poipo and fusilli) and our friends ordered the rest. Portion sizes were perfect and our waiter was a very sweet older Japanese man. He was such a cheerful person to be around and was very pleasant to talk to. Ambiance is a little classy-- it's a white tablecloth restaurant, but my friend mentioned that it didn't feel like a fancy, stuck up/stuff collar place so I would recommend this place to someone who wants to take a date to a nice place :) Only con was that I found that some of their items were quite expensive. Don't get the vegetable dip. DO get the octopus and fusilli. Tiramisu was ok, but not the best that I've had.

Basta Pasta a little Italian restaurant where the kitchen is located right in the front of the dining area, it was great and probably my favorite part of the experience. The food was delicious, but a very simple and not overcrowded menu, so if you're looking for many options, this might not be the place for you. We got the Gnoochi & the Tagliolini con Parmigiano e Prosciutto. The Tagliolini experience was amazing, they had brought out the pasta in a cheese wheel and prepared it right in front of you. The ambiance of the restaurant was very cozy and had minimalistic look, with cool hand painted ceiling portraits. Overall the food was a 8/10 and service was even better. Price point is definitely a from high medium. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Interesting concept (Italian and Japanese fusion) and nice ambiance (open air kitchens, classy decor) paired with underwhelming food and not-so-attentive service led to a 3.5/5 star experience. My entree, Spaghetti con ova di Pesce, was an interesting combination of spaghetti with fish roe and shiso. However, the other ingredients listed on the menu -- onions, garlic butter, and clam juice -- had barely any impact. I wish that wasn't the case because this somewhat dry and bland pasta needed something more. For dessert, the Biancomangiare was a tasty almond flan that sort of reminded me of pistachio gelato in a good way. I wasn't as much of a fan of the passion fruit sauce on top which overpowered the smooth nutty flavor of the flan. If you're really curious about Japanese and Italian fusion, check this place out. Otherwise, you may want to go elsewhere -- especially if you want flavorful cuisine.

This was AMAZING! We got the Pulsd deal and already bought it a second time so we can go back. I can't imagine why this place isn't packed - must be new. I did the Tobiko pasta, my husband did the risotto. The tobiko pasta!!!! So good! We ended with the flan (unbelievable) and a matchatini. Service was very fast as well! Will definitely be back!

What an amazing and eclectic menu. Never tried Italian / Japanese fusion before. Everything was fresh and delicious. Tried two apps and their famous cheese wheel pasta. Highly recommend. Staff was very attentive. FYI there is a parking garage next door.

Recently stopped by for dinner and we ordered the scallop appetizer, the cheese wheel pasta and the seafood linguine. Their scallop appetizer (3.5/5) was interesting. It was served cold with radish and a hint of pepper. The vinaigrette was slightly tangy and paired nicely with the radish and red onion. The cheese wheel pasta (1/5) was incredibly salty and inedible. The sodium was overwhelming. The seafood linguine (1.5/5) had moderate flavor but the pasta was beyond al dente. I'm pretty sure if I scooped the noodle, there wouldn't be any flop. The texture reminded me of plastic. Unfortunately, we were both unsatisfied and underwhelmed with the food.

We came here for a birthday and ordered a few apps for the table; we each got our own entree. Make reservations ahead of time as it does get crowded. For the apps we shared the following: Romain lettuce with house dressing- this was DELICIOUS! if they bottled this dressing I would buy it. It was very refreshing to eat. Scallop (crudo)- the flavors was kind of strange and the scallops were very small Tuna- this was ok For my entree I got the uni pasta (it is called something else in the menu)- I thought it came with spaghetti but it came with penne. The uni didn't seen that fresh and it didn't really go well with the penne. Not much flavor here. We also got a cheese wheel pasta to share with the table. It was very flavorful compared to the entree. It also came with prosciutto on top which gave it the salty flavor. The melted cheese was pretty good. Overall I recommend the romain lettuce app and the cheese wheel pasta dish. I do feel like there are prob cheaper pasta options at other places. It is about $25-30 per dish and $15-20 per app.

They don't seem to have the Uni pasta during covid unfortunately. Got the two different spaghettis - squid ink and flying roe - the latter was a bit better than the former but both were mediocre at best. Overpriced and undercooked, and not fresh pasta. I did like the non alcoholic grapefruit juice but found that overpriced as well, esp given the small portion. Overall, I was pretty disappointed and probably would not return.

3.5 / 5.0 - Basta Pasta used to be one of my favorite pasta restaurants in the city. The uni (sea urchin) pasta was my favorite, which my friend and I came here specifically for. So we were extremely disappointed to learn that the menu has become much smaller and no longer includes the uni pasta. - Pasta The pasta selection was quite limited, but I ordered the Fusilli con Parmigiano e Prosciutto. The chef serves the pasta out of a Parmesan cheese wheel, which is unique. My friend ordered a Spaghetti Nero ai Frutti di Mare, which she did enjoy. - Seating The tables were very spaced out, which was good. However, possibly because of that, the air conditioner felt strong and it was quite cold inside. I miss the uni pasta and hope they'll be able to bring it back.

I have been here many times, and recently for my spouse's birthday. Good food, good service. Ambiance is lively but not overly noisy. Welcome feeling.

Seeing an overwhelming number of good reviews, I was expecting some bussing pasta, but instead, I got a meh. The pasta was cooked a bit on the al dente side with very watery sauce. I thought I was in for some for some big plate of thick and cheesy calorie-fill galore. I got the black spaghetti with clam and shrimp. The flavor was there but none stick to the pasta, which let me to wonder, did they even cook the pasta in the sauce? The portion size was tiny for a plate that cost more than 20$. It was so non filling, I went to get a second meal afterwards. If you think the pasta at this place is good, you got questionable food standards and paste is definitely one. Will DEFINITELY not visit again, especially with so many other good competitions around.

Been here several times where they make the pasta fresh and have the cheese wheel for those who enjoy it. Service is great and staff is friendly... shared bottle of wine Black ink seafood pasta non spicy is very good... Mangia! Almond milk flan dessert is my favorite so far hands down Great times every time coming here, food is great and filling too! Looking forward to going back again and again!

I'd been to Basta Pasta several years ago and wanted to revisit the restaurant. I went on a Wednesday night and was surprised at how quiet the restaurant was. The restaurant's design is open-concept, with the kitchen visible to patrons. This is the type of restaurant that is good if you are looking for an ambiance that is conducive to conversation. Due to the pandemic, the uni pasta that they're known for was not on the menu; however, there were still a variety of options to choose from, including the Fusili con Parmigiano e Prosciutto, which is served out of the Parmesan wheel. I ordered the risotto with mushrooms, which was well-seasoned and well cooked. I wouldn't say any of the dishes ordered were amazing/stood out to me, but all of the dishes were consistently good. Overall, I think I would recommend coming to Basta Pasta because I think it is a safe option to get good pasta, a nice atmosphere, and good service. Being a Japanese-Italian fusion, I am empathetic to the fact that the pandemic has created shortages in their regular ingredients but am excited to revisit this when their uni pasta is back!

The place looks a little outdated. But it fits well with Italian/Japanese concept. Out front it has this nice oval bar looking design, but as you walk in there's the main dining area. Tuna tataki 4/5 - tuna was pretty fresh and the sauce that came with it was delicious and made the whole dish into a perfection. The broccoli was nicely charred and balanced well with tuna. Octopus 3/5 - I would skip this. Decent and nothing special about this. The vegetables that came with it tasted underwhelming and bland. Flying fish roe pasta 3.5/5 - it was a pretty delicious and simple pasta. But for the price quote, I would never get it again. This is such a basic pasta that you can simply make it at home for a lot cheaper. The shiso was not as strong as I would like. The noodle was slightly undercooked as well. Uni pasta 3.5/5 - again, this doesn't worth the price quote as well. Decent amount of uni but it didn't tasted as fresh. The sauce was a little too creamy taste to me - wish it tasted a little more like uni. Grapefruit tonic 4/5 - quite pricey for a basic non-alcoholic grapefruit tonic drink. Grapefruit taste was strong which I liked, but felt like for $6 is a little steep and I could totally make this at home for a lot cheaper. Server never came back and check on us or asked how we liked our food. Maybe because we didn't spend money on drinks, but if that was the case then that's just rude. Regardless, I still tipped him 18% for the service that he never actually provided during my stay. Would never come back again. It was a great that I can finally check this restaurant out of my list. Food was alright - nothing wowed me. Service was nonexistent. Pricey for what you get. Tried, NEXT.

Ok this review is only for the lack of vegetarian options on the menu and the extremely pricey food they have with mediocre taste. I basically had to customize one pasta dish to have no meat so essentially I got tomato sauce and pasta. The whole dish was bland and didn't taste good. I would definitely not recommend vegetarian folks to stop here for food as there are no options unless you like mediocre food.

The creamy anchovy dip and veggies were amazing! The presentation was beautiful, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. I would definitely go back!

We chose Basta for the cheese wheel pasta and it was amazing! The service was fast and friendly. Also had the Uni pasta which was also incredible. Quiet yet inviting atmosphere. Great dessert.

Not exactly what it used to be. The food here is a Japanese inspired Italian cuisine. The concept is great and the favours mesh very well as a result. Starting with the appetiser, the octopus and scallops were on point. The octopus is grilled and then garnished like a Mediterranean dish (one leg) the scallops had 8-9 pcs (although most likely cut in the middle to make more so really 4 pcs) and makes good use of sauces. The wasabi is strong is it tastes like scallop sashimi. Moving onto the pasta, the must get is the Uni pasta. The Uni blends very well, despite not being Uni season, this pasta saved the restaurant. It's not too fishy (as most Uni is) and the pasta makes good use of the natural flavours. The truffle risotto is nothing special. It tastes like what it sounds. Truffle on rissotto and nothing more. Lastly, the pasta using the parmesan cheese wheel was butter and wholly disappointing. Despite the fancy cheese wheel service, it doesn't do much more than it looks. To top it off we had dessert at the end. Tiramisu is standard. The creme bruele was weird with pears inside. Took away from the essence of creme brûlée. Bear in mind that there is a no show fee when you don't show up to your reservation, so be mindful of time!

The service was a bit lack luster but I understand that waitresses and servers all over are hard to find for restaurants right now. My friend and I came to share a salad and pasta (we wanted the Uni but they do not have it currently) so we got the mentaiko with shiso leaf one! It was really delicate and perfect. Finished it up completely. They were kind enough to split the plates at no charge, and the bread basket was lovely as well. The Caesar salad was crisp and well dressed too! We will be back to try more items

flavor was good but portions were a little small. i got the tagliatelle al ragu di basta pasta, and my friend got the fusilli al feretto con salsiccia ilberica. service was also very good. definitely some unique pastas!

Really nice restaurant for friend gathering. The black spaghetti is a bit dry, but I like it that it's not super creamy. My friend had the sea urchin pasta and it seems quite filling. Love the almond flan especially, with a great mix of almond and passion fruit, even though it looks like a real egg! I asked for the least sweet cocktail but it was still quite sweet.

Japanese Italian has to be one of my favorite combinations and Basta Pasta does it really well. You're not going to see a lot of Japanese cuisine but it definitely has a lot of influences on the dishes. We ordered the duck breast salad, the tobiko roe spaghetti and the sea urchin linguine. I love the light flavors each dish has. It really emphasizes the taste of the seafood flavors. The roe spaghetti was a little too light/flat to me though. The roe was good but definitely not strong enough to be a standalone protein in a pasta. The duck breast salad was good but the salad may be a bit bitter to some people. Definitely enjoyed the delicious sea urchin linguine though. Excellent service here. Also really enjoyed the easy going mellow vibe it gave off without being too noisy. Perfect for a casual date night. Overall, a really interesting spot if you enjoy pasta but want a more Japanese influence on it. It's solid alternative if you can't get a seat at any of the more popular fancy Italian restaurants.

I've been coming to this pasta restaurant for years now and definitely will continue to recommend this place! Their dish is really delicious and I honestly would order everything on the menu if I can! My friends and I came here last night for dinner and we ordered the Gnocchi di Patata Dolce (sweet potato gnocchi) and some steamed mushrooms (not entirely sure of the exact name, but it tasted AMAZING). I ordered the Spaghetti con Prosciutto e Parmigiano, which is my favorite dish they have! They basically roll out a wheel of parmesan cheese and serve it at the table. I will never get tired of this dish and will continue to order this pasta whenever i'm there :) Long story short, if you're really into pasta and want a bit of Japanese/Italian inspired dishes, I highly recommend this place!

one of my favorite restaurants in nyc. I love the open kitchen and how it's not a super formal nor casual vibe. The Uni pasta is a must as well as the lamb chop. Although the lamb chops have gotten smaller in size over the years haha.

I think on google it's listed as a japanese italian place & it really is. There are traces of japanese cuisine in the menu which make the normal pasta dishes seem more intriguing. We got: - duck salad 8/10: pretty good, the duck was certainly delicious but the salad could have used a little more something - white sauce seafood linguine 8/10: by white sauce they dont actually mean a cream sauce, which i was expecting. There was an ample amount of seafood however - spaghetti con prosciutto 9/10: this is the one that comes in the parmesan wheel and was really good!! The prosciutto is different from most and is thicker than your average one. - tiramisu 7/10: pretty standard nothing striking - cheesecake 7/10: same Overall i had a good time but nothing impressed me enough for me to want to come again (esp when pasta places are a dime a dozen). And not like prices were all that cheap either.

I had pretty high expectations coming here which might be why my rating dropped a little. It's a very cute date spot, overall a good experience and got pretty full from all the dishes. But definitely didn't have much WOW moments. They started us off with bread but no butter (so had to ask for some). The sweet potato gnocchi appetizer came out pretty quickly after placing our order and was a big fan of it. Linguine Ai Ricci Di Mare - this wasn't my dish but I did take a few bites and would say it's fresh and the seafood taste is not overpowering from the sauch. Spagetti Con Prosciutto E Parmigiano - they place a layer of cheese on top and be sure to eat it while it's hot otherwise it'll harden once it cools down, making it difficult to break apart the pasta lying underneath. A little too salty but overall good.

Totally glorious pasta here that's a mix of your favorite Japanese tastes and the comfort of Italian. An awesome tip: get appetizer portions (they offer them here) of a bunch of pastas so you can try them all. The tobiko and shiso pasta is off-the-charts good, while the eggplant and mozzarella tomato sauce pasta is exactly what you want in a traditional pasta dish, but lighter. The uni pasta and the cheese-wheel Parmesan pasta were also good, but came in second to these first two. 5 Stars!!!!!!

Highly recommend the lunch prefixe option! The restaurant opens at 12 pm for lunch which was around the time my friends and I met. The prefixe A include a choice of: Mixed green salad or soup One out of seven choices of pasta Homemade dessert Coffee, espresso, tea For a fabulous price of $20! The bread for starter was warm and delicious dipped in olive oil. The mixed green salad was super simple; it was a big plate of arugula and other mixed greens. A few bits of cranberry or almonds would've been a great touch. I chose number 7 Pasta. Portion size was big and super filling. Smoked salmon pieces were not just one or two. There were several enough to fill me up. The homemade dessert was whipped cream filled roll cake with a chocolate icecream on top. The cake was moist and was a perfect finish with coffee to the entire meal. The service was a bit lacking. We had to ask our server several time to bring us our dessert because we were in a rush for our meeting. Overall, I enjoyed the lunch pre fix and thinks it's a great value.
