When you're not entirely sure you got enough sleep, but the baby is awake and you need a delicious and filling breakfast, Sabine is the place to go. They have a covered outdoor patio where your baby can squirm and cry without disturbing other patrons too much. Additionally the food is in reasonable sized portions, which means you can eat your entire meal while it's still warm.
If you don't have a baby to bring, this is a great place for a casual breakfast/lunch with the out of town friends you see once every five years, non-friend coworkers, or a first/blind date. The interior is inviting and charming, and the casual setting (you order at the counter then grab a table) reduces the amount of time you need to fill with awkward small talk. And if you need an excuse, you have to grab your own water so you can walk away from the table long enough to think up a story you can pretend to spontaneously recall with your dining partners later on. The food comes out reasonably quick, but not so fast you question when it was made. The portion sizes are reasonable so you don't end up in a food coma that can lead to poor choices with said non-friend coworkers and first/blind dates.
The dishes I think about are: Turkish eggs and BLT. Their baked goods are also to die for: the pain au chocolat has a light crispy exterior, buttery layers, and the right kind of chocolate.
I have yet to check out their bar area or dinner scene, but I am looking forward to checking it out at some point.
