Mine and My Wife's first time to visit here today, and we truly enjoyed it! There are a lot of great open-air spaces, walking, hiking, and biking trails and pathways. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches along the lake's shoreline, stunning views, and bike trails and pathways. Even a few outdoor grills for a delicious picnic lunch to enjoy! We will be back, see y'all there!

You have to get out of your car to enjoy the back side of the Bath House Cultural Center, with its ground level back porch and newly expanded lower level. Best sunsets in Dallas viewed over the lake. A hidden treasure in White Rock Lake Park.

Fun, free, great thing to do utilizing the bath house building which has great acoustic for the music to blast out. We sat outside. You're allowed to move the tables and chairs out. We moved them back later. Had a nice picnic with friends while enjoying a local artist play.

This is just an incredible Little Treasure hidden at the lake. There is a museum that's constantly changing and when you walk across it's a theater with performances and matinees and the people performing live. It's really amazing.

Yelp
A great piece of history in Dallas where the exhibitions are always changing. Today I saw the recent exhibition by Vargas- El Corazon. The back of the building faces White Rock lake. It's a great place to take a walk before or after visiting the Cultural Center.

Yelp
Seems I often end up here on sunny spring and fall days. The combination of the lake combined with some art and a lazy stroll around the shore of White Rock lake is always life afirming

Yelp
For the Historical value, this is a neat place. Sits on the lake with a the water lapping against the shore, the old building is a beauty, well kept for its age. There was a Native Plant show going on this day. They have tours of the local vegetation areas that have been planted around the house and in the fields that were free to the pubic. Really cool place, one thing I thought was odd is this is a bathhouse, yet the have signs that says absolutely not swimming allowed. Can come and visit but don't expect to get wet. Just thought that was a bit funny.

Yelp
The Bath House is a perfect place to watch live performances and see local artists in DFW. I've enjoyed many one act plays during their one act play season and love how easily accessible the location is. A perfect hidden gem off of White Rock Lake.

Yelp
We went to the El Corazon Exhibition curated by Jose Vargas for the opening reception with the artists. It's small, bright, welcoming and in the wonderful East Dallas location of White Rock Lake. If you haven't been to Bath House Cultural Center yet I definitely recommend going.

Yelp
This is more than just a wonderful old delightful venue for various artists to exhibit their works or for small performances. Those exhibits and shows, while normally small, offer a closeness that allow the audience to really view and enjoy the subtle aspects of the artists' work. It is a great place to learn about the lake. This center is also a meeting place for friends and family to enjoy White Rock Lake. There is ample parking, generally outdoor portable toilets outside the Center's hours, a water fountain on the hill and lots benches and picnic tables.. Besides the large trees providing lots of places to hide from the sun, the view of the lake, a glimpse of Downtown Dallas, and fields full of North Texas Grasslands, this is a quiet place to collect your thoughts or read (be it book, newspaper or phone). My last trip was here as I passed by while circling the lake on foot. I needed a spot to sit and wring out my rain soaked socks. The view of the peaceful lake and dozens of resting ducks offered a calm that few places could have offered. No wonder the ducks were here. I stayed a bit longer to just take in the splendor of it all.

Yelp
From the moment I arrived to the neighborhood and had the opportunity to visit the Bath House Cultural Center, Marty, the center manager was so kind, and welcoming I couldn't wait to return and enjoy the exhibits and theatre. I have not been disappointed in the talents, cultural enrichment, nor the commitment to embracing the arts and it's incredibly colorful world, the center provides. I'm sure you'll enjoy coming here as much as I do!

Yelp
The Bath House Cultural Center is a theater, art gallery, and starting point for races at White Rock. I have enjoyed experiences with all three types of entertainment here. The folks who work for the BHCC are real animal lovers also. They fostered a momma cat who was dumped there with her kittens. Homes were found for all of the kittens, but they were having difficulty finding a home for the momma. She was living in their props room, until a very supportive patron came by one day and fell head over heels for this pastel calico. Pip is still a drama queen, and we are grateful to BHCC for our furry glamour puff.

Yelp
What a fantastic little stumbleupon....and date night kinda place. I pulled up expecting to spend an afternoon/sunset on White Rock Lake and ended up enjoying an art show event that was being held here, followed by an awesome sunset. The staff was very nice and inviting (which exceeded my expectations). It is not very big place, one wing is a dedicated museum that is split and one half is about the history of the lake and the other half is different art. The other wing is the theater, a place that I have not experienced yet, but I plan to.

Yelp
I initially wanted to check out White Rock Lake, so I got two attractions in one! I realized that Dallas became incredibly hot and dry during the summer afternoon; my skin received ample sun time just from going to Dallas, so it felt nice to have a building (with air conditioning) that showed performance art and candid photography. I also learned a lot about White Rock Lake's history and its fascinating legend that gave me the chills--during the summer. I especially enjoyed the photography of the birds and the sunsets at the lake. Just one word of advice regarding the art exhibits: An adult audience would appreciate the content. Children wouldn't enjoy it as much, so I personally wouldn't bring younger kids. I can't speak of the other rotating exhibits, but the current exhibits had themes that a young adult audience or above would understand. As someone who loves cultural arts centers, I enjoyed learning more about the center and spending some time by the lake!

Yelp
Echo Theatre and many others perform at the Bath House Cultural Center which is gem on White Rock Lake. See theater, see art, see a sunset all in one place! Sail a boat next door at Corinthian Sailing Club.

Yelp
I've been going to the Bath House Cultural Center for art shows, theatre, music for 20 years. I love the place. It hosts much loved art and culture in Dallas. Plus White Rock Lake is georgous.

Yelp
Great venue for getting up close to view and appreciate a wide variety of artist installations. After recently taking my largest group of students to view the annual Día de los Muertos altars exhibit, I was especially grateful for the time that Enrique Fernandez Cervantes, Visual Arts Coordinator/Curator, took to give history, background information and engage my group of kiddos. It is by far our favorite trip each year, and it gets better every time!
