Because I am a regular at the original location, I feel confident giving this location its due compliments. The seating availability during Sunday brunch hours was impressive, I came around 10:30am and there was no wait. I ordered my usual a Traditional breakfast along with a French toast flight. It was delicious per usual, and came out pretty quick. The food tastes just as good as the other location down to the maple butter and the house hot sauce (which I recommend, it’s the only hot sauce I eat) The manager and my server were friendly and hospitable. My only complaint was that sitting by the door made it a chilly visit. Otherwise everything else was impeccable! Thanks Ari!

Disappointed that everything is À la cart. Paid $7 for what looked like 2 eggs and $7 for three pieces of bacon. French toast was too soft. I didn’t like it took one bite told my server she can take it back. I wasn’t going to eat anything and the response was you still would have to pay for it. My husband was pleased with his food either. The food came out so fast like it’s pre made and not made to order.

The rest of us ordered the traditional breakfast of French toast in various flavors, and everything was delicious. The service was very fast; we hardly had to wait at all for our food. It tasted fresh and very good.

First time eating at batter & berries but my fiancee has been numerous times and always highly recommended it. Food was very good but overpriced for what we ordered. $100 breakfast for 2 people is crazy. Beware of the specials menu as they don’t list the price and I see why. It’s twice as much as anything else on the regular menu

I had the lemon French toast and it was delicious! I always have syrup with French toast but I honestly didn’t need it. I also had bacon and eggs on the side. I was a skeptic but the chef got my soft scrambled eggs just right! Additionally, the service was excellent! I’ll definitely be returning.

The wait and price is not worth the hype. Over 45 min wait for this cold food. The location is good, but not any appropriate seating while you wait except one bench. So you will have to wait in Your car or stand in the breezeway of the apartments. The bathrooms were clean and smelled fresh. I wish the execution of the food would have been as precise as the presentation. The waiter was professional and concise, but lacked a personality. The waiter didn’t ask where we were from the waiter didn’t ask if this was our first time we thought that would’ve added a nice touch but… our total cost for this meal and two pictures were $42.16. Even a restaurant that specializes i. Catfish would give you 2 pieces of fish for $29.00. Also the waiter did tell us it was 1 piece of fish, I will give him that.The fish and eggs and hash were $29. Yes, you are reading this correctly. You only get two eggs, a decent side of cold, hash, brown scramble and a hot piece of fish and the two slices of French toast that my spouse had rounded up the difference that includes no drinks that includes no juice no coffee $42.16 batter and berries we’ve tried to support you got us once but you won’t catch us twice. Left still hungry and ended up going to devil dogs up the street.

Batter & Berries is one of my favorite breakfast spots, which is why this review is meant to be constructive and not a bash session. This was my first time visiting the new location. I was told they have been open about a year. Unfortunately, the service did not meet the standard I have come to expect from this restaurant. Our server, Cody, took our order but did not check on our table at any point afterward. I either had to wave him down or rely on another waitress, and even the woman cleaning tables checked on us more than our actual server. It is possible he was assigned too many tables at the time, but the lack of communication and follow up still impacted our experience. Both of my children received their traditional breakfasts. However, the blueberry French toast they were sharing came out much later, after one of my children had already finished eating. When I asked about it, Cody said he would check and then returned asking if it was strawberry when it was blueberry, which made it seem the order had been forgotten. I also requested extra Alfredo sauce, which never arrived but was still included on the bill. Additionally, my fried catfish was undercooked. The breading was very crispy, which suggested it was cooked quickly on high heat. When I mentioned this, Cody responded, “I’m sure it’s cooked, but I’ll tell them,” which felt dismissive. I always cut into my food to check doneness due to a previous experience with undercooked food at another restaurant. Overall, the rest of my food was delicious. See receipt for order. Throughout the visit, I remained polite and calm, especially as I was dining with my two young children. I still left a $10 tip, even reluctantly, because I was raised to always leave something and understand that tips are often shared. The manager did come over and was very polite and professional, which I appreciated. However, the server would benefit from retraining in attentiveness, communication, and guest care. I hope this feedback is received in the spirit it is intended as a learning opportunity. Batter & Berries has always been a favorite of mine, and I want to continue supporting the brand, but service consistency matters.

I’m not a Chicago native but as a visitor, this is by far the BEST breakfast/brunch/lunch place I’ve EVER been to. The server was nice and very warming. The energy is top tier given the upbeat music that is playing inside. Definitely recommend their French toast that they’re known for and cheese crusted hash!

First time In Chicago and this by far has been the BEST food we've had. Coby was our server and he was absolutely amazing! The crab cakes are impeccable and the flights especially the caramel are bomb! Will definitely be back.

The French toast flight was amazing! The salmon crab cakes were delicious! The food was amazing and the customer service was top notch. My waiter Cody was amazing, he made sure are needs were met .. Also Cody was a great listener he heard me say I came here for a French toast flight ...(delicious by the way ) also Cody explained to us about the menu , boom he said lamb chops and I was convinced that I wanted it .. thanks so much for the fabulous services my daughter and granddaughter received today ... ... #teamcody

The French toast flight was absolutely delicious. The seasonal egg nog toast was a delightful added bonus. The staff was courteous and efficient.

I actually liked the food here. We got there as soon as it opened but it got busy really fast. A friend of mine invited me to come and told us getting there right at open is the best time to beat the crowds. It fills up fast and I did see people wait for a long time. It does get loud like your typical eatery and definitely wait a bit more than usual, this is not a fast food place. Now for the food, I liked the French Toast Flight that was recommended to me. The Toadt had a nice subtle crunch, wasn't overly sweet, didn't feel too heavy after biting in, and the presentation was great. I didn't mind the wait as I chatted for awhile. Didn't try anything else though, but honestly I liked it. I guess the only downside is the wait time. Overall get here early for the best experience.

FINALLY, A PANCAKE BREAKFAST PLACE IN THE SOUTH LOOP near McCormick convention center. There may be a wait of 15 to 30mins if you're coming during peak hours noon-1pm, as the place is not that big. The food is your typical breakfast place (a step up from Denny's and Original Pancake House). The menu is short, but sweet . As we were in a rush, we ordered The Traditional - typical two eggs, cheese with hashbrowns and your choice of bacon, ham, portobello mushrooms (not your typical option). PRO TIP: never order scrambled as the cracked eggs are usually sitting in a bucket for who knows how long. Instead, order "eggs over hard", which is basically scrambled except they use fresh eggs. I also recommend ordering the bacon instead of the sausage patties , and asked for "well done", because they're not very crispy as they are on the thick side. Also, if you want crispy hashbrowns, skip the cheese as it made the hashbrowns gooey and soggy. They do ask you whether you want the hashbrowns with the cheese or not when you're ordering it, so pay attention. The Customer service was friendly. The wait time on the food was a bit on the long side. Make sure to ask your server to check on the food because sometimes it's ready and waiting to be brought out.

I joined the waitlist, checked in, and was there well before closing. I paid for parking just to be turned away. I was told by the host we aren't seating anyone else. I said will people on the waitlist be notified because we haven't received a communication and it appears we are moving up in the waitlist line. The host was so dismissive and was like well I'm telling you now and we just made the decision. The food itself is good here but this kind of service will be keeping me away for a while, if not for good. I want to support my neighborhood businesses especially one with good food but this experience was so disappointing.

This place fills up fast! The French toast flight is a great way to try all them all. I liked the strawberry one the best. I wish the brisket in my brisket hash were a bit more tender, but the flavor in the sauce was absolutely delicious. I think the cheesy hash was my favorite part of the meal! My meal was good, but quite oily as you can tell in the picture so took one star away.

Batter and Berries offering a great menu of breakfast and lunch items. This is a busy spot on the weekends a really popular spot among the locals. It is a bustling cafe with both table and bar seating. I really enjoyed the food here. They are known for their French toast and I highly recommend getting their French toast flight. Four different flavored French toasts they were all delicious but really loved the strawberry French toast. The biscuits and gravy was delicious and the gravy was something on the likes I have never had before. Really flavorful and something truly unique. I had a great experience and I can't wait to dine here again.

Batters & Berries on State Street is a newer spot with a good vibe. It was a bit crowded, so there was a short wait, but once seated the service was great...our waiter was helpful with food suggestions It's BYOB Food wise, the jerk chicken was tasty (though not spicy), and the salmon croquettes were decent but a little salty in my opinion (I'm picky because my mom makes the best). My friend preferred the croquettes, while I leaned toward the jerk chicken. The French toast flight was the highlight for me..every flavor was good, but the caramel was amazing. I also love that the restaurant is Black owned, with a fun purple & yellow theme tied to the owner's fraternity. Overall: great service, good food

I don't recommend this place!!! Our waitress was awesome!! She was not the reason for this poor review. The inside is so cute but we were very quickly dissatisfied. My friend and I ordered breakfast sandwiches and they got my order wrong. I asked for ham but received bacon. I told our waitress and she took it back to the kitchen, apologized, and then got my food around 10 minutes later. Mind you, it took like 30 minutes to get our food after we ordered. Also, the eggs made my friend and I sick. We asked for them scrambled but they were very runny. My friend couldn't even finish them and I had a stomach ache later on. Make sure you check in with the host if you get in the yelp waiting line!! Normally I will receive a text saying "your table is ready, please see host" but my text said "please check in with host upon arrival." This was just a misunderstanding on my part so I wasn't too upset. I'm more disappointed with the over priced food, wait times for service, and the quality/accuracy of the food. Not worth it.

I've been to the Lincoln Park location numerous times in the past and I've seen this location has opened this year so I thought I'd give it a try. I came on a Sunday afternoon around breakfast & brunch rush so but we got lucky with street parking. The place is small but maybe bigger than their other location. There is no reservations but once we arrived we were able to check in and see our order in line. They originally quoted us about 35-45 minutes but it didn't take that long for a table of 3. Similar to their Lincoln park location, this location is BYOB. They have a bar seating area but they don't serve alcohol. At first we were seated directly across from the doors, which left us feeling chilly as there is a draft that comes in. After some time a couple tables left and we were able to get another table further away from the entrance. The staff and waiter were pretty accommodating and cleaned the table for us. If it feels awkward it's because it's really snug between tables. Anyways now on to the food. I take it people don't come here for coffee. 2 of us ordered coffee and it was alright, they give a small shot of what I'm assuming was half and half. They don't ask you for your preferences in cream. Anywho, the waiter went over the specials with us, we thought we knew what wanted until that point. I got the lamb chop special which came with eggs and hash browns and the French toast flight, the rest of my party ordered a kids stack of chocolate chip pancakes, the catfish breakfast and their special egg not French toast. It didn't seem to take long for the food to arrive. I barely finished my cup of coffee before the staff brought out our plates. The food was so delicious, my lamb chops were seasoned perfectly & cooked to my preference. I really liked the cheesy hash browns also. I think I was able to try 2 of the French toast slices before throwing in the towel. I was pleasantly stuffed. I'll be back at this location when it's a bit warmer. I noticed they gave park benches on the outside.

Batters and Berries - 2318 S. State Street (2 out of 5 stars) "Seated fast, served cold--hoping for better next time." Sometimes, you just gotta be honest. This was my second visit to Batters and Berries, and my first at their new State Street location. My sister had gone earlier in the week and loved it. We came on a Sunday expecting a long wait, but were seated in under 10 minutes. That's where the good part ended. Our table was directly under a freezing A/C vent--so strong it blew napkins and plasticware off the table. We told our server, who admitted it's a frequent complaint, but nothing could be done. Within seconds of our food arriving, everything--eggs, hash browns, chicken, and French toast--went cold. The coffee cooled immediately. I asked to move and have my food remade. Sadly, most items were just reheated. The eggs were chewy and browned at the bottom, the chicken dry, and the hash browns bland (especially without cheese). The French toast was slightly better after being warmed but still underwhelming. Also, I was initially served plastic utensils--for a $40+ meal. Real silverware came later, but by then, the food was already a miss. My sister enjoyed the French toast flight (especially lemon and strawberry), and our friend liked the salmon croquettes. But even they said the food could've been warmer. The worst part? Minutes after we moved, another group was seated at that same cold table--and started complaining too. I want to support Black-owned restaurants and see them thrive. But comfort and consistency matter. I'd give it another shot if they can make the proper adjustments. If you follow me, you know how I feel about Batters & Berries. It's a no-brainer - whenever I am in Chicago, we're going. I think having rotating French toast flavors is one of the most brilliant ideas, and when they are executed like Batters & Berries does - it's surely a treat. I won't go too in depth on my review, because it's biased, I've already done one and I LOVE THIS PLACE, but we did stop in for my best friends Bachelorette Brunch at the new location on State Street and had a ball. Parking was a breeze, the new location is also a bit more spacious, with plenty of seating and the familiar warm vibes of the others. Our server was as sweet as pie and that Peach Cobbler French Toast with the catfish plate on the side...to die for. The flavors are immaculate, we brought our own bottle to pop because we are no stranger to the BYOB policy and truly had an enjoyable time 10/10 NO NOTES - ever. We also may or may not have asked for a few containers of hotsauce for later

The service was good . I ordered a sandwich and a half flight of french toast . I have had the flight at previous Batter & Berries I must say this was not as good. It was just ok . My husband had the Brisket and it was very fatty! The Brisket wasn't seasoned.

This is a great little restaurant in Lincoln Park with delicious French toast and omelettes! The cheesy hashbrowns are amazing, but don't tell my doctor lol The service was wonderful. Our waiter was really attentive and funny

I think that the servers are very attentive and they also are very friendly but it is not like a dive star rating. Five star rating I haven't tried a lot of the items so I'm not really sure if I can say anything bad about it. I like there breakfast but too much for.my budget I can get asteak cheaper of which they don't have. Except skirt steaks..

The food was very tasty and the service was ok, however if you would like regular butter, bring your own. They only have maple butter and have no intention of having regular unflavored butter. I got some rude remarks when I requested regular unflavored butter. I can't believe that a restaurant would not have regular butter. Since it was my first time , I was not prepared.

I ordered the champagne caramel french toast & the lemon french toast. I also ordered a side of egg whites with gouda. Everything was tasty, per usual. I like that this location is BYOB too. The only negative I have to add is that they need a little space for a waiting area. My girl & I went New Years Day & the hostess was very overwhelmed at the amount of people waiting to be seated.

I truly wanted to leave a 5-star review because I've enjoyed meals here before, but I feel it's important to share our recent experience to help others make an informed decision. My daughter and I ordered the salmon croquettes with scrambled eggs and hash browns--a dish I've had in the past and was looking forward to enjoying again. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, my plate was served cold--not lukewarm, but completely cold. It was disappointing, especially considering the reputation this place has. I brought it to our waitress's attention, and to her credit, she did apologize and promptly took the plate back to have it remade. While I appreciated her professionalism, we still had to wait a considerable amount of time for the corrected dish to be brought out. When the food finally arrived hot, it was good, but by then, the experience had already taken a turn. What made matters worse was the pricing. The waitress never mentioned any price upfront, and nothing on the menu suggests that this dish would cost $30--especially since no item listed is over $28. We were both shocked to see that amount on the bill for a single plate. No special pricing was disclosed, no upgrades mentioned--just a surprise charge that felt completely out of line with the rest of the menu. While I appreciate the apology and the eventual meal, the lack of transparency around pricing and the initial quality control really soured the experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures both better communication with customers and consistency in food quality. The manager did arrive and she remembered the day we came since it was a celebration for my nephews graduation as a Chicago Fireman. Sadly, this visit has made me hesitant to return.

I cannot recommend this astounding restaurant enough. The staff were warm and welcoming while the diner vibe was cozy and nostalgic. Once the food was ordered and came to our table, it didn't last long! The flavors in the French toast flight ranged from classic to unique, but each one was absolutely incredible. The meal I had at Batter and Berries will now be my favorite and I think it's gonna be hard to beat! This is a go-to diner for any breakfast lover! I cannot wait to come back when I'm in town next.

The menu is different. If you want a bowl of oatmeal or other traditional breakfast foods, you are out of luck. I had a chicken omelette that was fantastic. Price was just like other restaurants and the service was excellent. Hayle was our waitress and she was also excellent. Will go back again when I am in the area Restaurant was kind os small but I did like the decor. If you go on the weekend get on yheir waiting list.

Walked in on a Friday at 2pm and was seated right away. Instantly greeted with water and menus. Ordered a Cluck-N-Gauffe (Goof), Salmon Croquette, BFF Chicken Sandwich, Super Flight (special pineapple upside down, strawberry, blueberry, lemon, and caramel) Our food came within 11 mins of ordering. Everything was fresh! Good service overall, checked on periodically. Favs were the caramel friend toast and BFF chicken sandwich. Ambiance is cute and quiet. Wished we knew it was BYOB!

Having been to original location, we were disappointed with the new location. The food was just not as tasty. And the price was kind of high to not be satisfied. We will probably stick with the original location moving forward.

Waited 20 minutes to be serviced with no water, greeting, or anything from the server. Had to flag someone down on my own and she wasn't even the server for that section. Waited another 20 minutes for pancakes and bacon. Very disappointed with this location.

First off, I'm glad there's a location on the south side. The price point - three breakfast dishes, with a standard tip - was $100, which is WILD. While the food was good (French toast flight, two seasonal entrees with seemingly six eggs per entree), it wasn't worth that, especially for breakfast meals. I don't mind going back for a special occasion or if I have out of town visitors, but there's no way I would go back outside of that.

Of the many item we tried, the caramel french toast - well done, was the best. Very good! The candied walnuts added a great texture and flavor.

This was my 3rd experience with Batter & Berries & my first time at their new location. This experience wasn't as good as before. Only 1/2 of my party of 4 were satisfied with our meal. I enjoyed my French toast super flight, hash browns and bacon. My cousin sent back her sweet potato waffle with chicken because it did not have the taste of sweet potato nor any chicken pieces inside the waffle as the description on the menu indicated. Her eggs were brought out after the full meal was brought out too. We had to remind the server about the eggs. The waffle was replaced but still no cinside the waffle. The manager/chef came to the table & said she personally remade the waffle & it included chicken. It did not & my cousin took apart the waffle to show the manager. The manager insisted there was chicken in the batter. (See picture). The blueberry waffle was overcooked & also came out later than the other meals. Overall this experience at the new location wasn't anything like the original.

I'm so glad they finally opened their South Loop location! I'm gonna be honest and say that I wasn't expecting the food to be this good but it was so amazing and worth the prices for sure. I ended up getting the salmon croquet Benedict, which was a special that they're running and my friend got the catfish executive which is also a special that they're doing. The head chef came by our table and talked and joked with us, which was really cool very welcoming and nice. The space is not huge so it may feel a little tight if it's a lot of people in there. our waitress had no issue with moving our table when we asked her which was great because we didn't want to be right up on the people sitting beside us. Also, you're able to scan and pay electronically which I love. Overall this is a great experience in parking is plentiful in this area of South Loop on side streets, as well as in front of the restaurant. This will definitely be one of my go to brunch places in the neighborhood.

Food: the hot chicken wrap is huge, however it had 3 small pieces of chicken on it , the rest was shredded cheese. Server took it back to the kitchen and returned with it and let us know they cut up a piece of chicken breast so they can remake it but it will have the same amount of chicken . Nobody wants to eat a cheese, sauce and lettuce wrap with chicken as a garnish . The hash brown were so salty , they put salt on top, it was too much , couldn't eat it . All food was lukewarm at best . The Super Donut French toast was the only portion that came out hot . Daniel the server did his best. They did not take the chicken wrap off the receipt. He did sing my mom happy birthday .

We had the jerk chicken omelette, catfish and the world famous French toast flight. Everything was phenomenal, including our waiter Daniel. Just fyi it's BYOB so if you'd like a mimosa with your brunch don't forget your favorite bottle of champagne or prosecco. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Chicago .

The Lemon French Toast is to die for! A hip spot for a mostly single urban crowd. If you're looking for a good breakfast/brunch spot to nurse a hangover with some delicious food in a chic gentrified area, Batter & Berries is a great go to. The service is on point with attentive waitstaff and servers. Overall, worth a visit.

Stopped by Batter & Berries for brunch after hearing so many great things. The food looked amazing, but the taste didn't quite match the hype. The French toast was good but a bit too sweet for me, and service was friendly but slow. Overall, it's okay, just not worth the long wait.

A table became available within 5 minutes on wait-list. Seated, but not offer water. Waited ten minutes before the waitress came to our table, also without water. Ask her how the cold brew is made, she says it comes bottled, don't know the brand because it was brought out in a glass, tasted sour.. not the worst I've had but definitely on the list. Food was ok, both my son and I had the French toast flight, mine's the super flight with one more piece of the flavor of the week. Looks like a lot of artificial coloring was used. 30 minutes later, still no water, waitress never checked on us since bringing out the food. Then they decided to turn on rock music in an already loud space. Finished eating ten minutes ago but the table has not been cleared. Still no waitress. Or water... I really shouldn't have to ask.

Waitron was good. However, the food was rather disappointing. The French toast flight was like the line chef rubbed butter on top of the bread, microwaved the plate, and then sprinkled it with the various flavors / ingredients. had one piece and asked for my bill.

I've visited several of their locations from the moment they opened in Lincoln Park and for the most part I've been please with what I've ordered, however today was a different story. Ordered as described on their menu the apple waffle with caramelized apples, however the waffle was dry and so was the apples. I attempted to send it back and they offered to give me a caramel drizzle. That helped the issue with the dry apples, but not the dry waffle. They really need to revamp this dish. It totally was not what I thought it was going to be. I was expecting a nice fluffy apple waffle with stewed apples in an apple sauce. The caramel drizzle would have been the cherry on top had everything else been good.

We were generally glad to have another breakfast option in the Bronzeville-ish are (depending on who you ask this is a few blocks too far north to be Bronzeville), but after having been here twice we're going to be regulars. The venue itself isn't the most cozy - but the food is elevated and service is also.

The food is AMAZING!!! I had the breakfast sandwich with ham, egg and cheese on Texas toast and it just melted in my mouth.

Everything was sort of good but a little bad. Highlight was the Caramel French Toast in the french toast flight. Brisket Sandwich: very fatty, and they didn't tell us they were out of the brisket sauce until they brought it rather than before we ordered it. Apple Waffle: good waffle but oddly had no syrup or sauce. Something felt missing. Grown up Grilled Cheese: They forgot the tomato sauce. Chicken Fajita Omelette: ok, Noisy environment and hard to hear the folks on the other side of the table. Overall, we had a decent experience, but probably won't come back.

Extremely long wait times. When seated even longer wait times. Not much room, everyone is all on top of each other. Not comfortable environment.

Just finished eating there. Food was okay. Service was horrible. No menu given we had to get up and get syrup,food was delayed, and had to ask for the bill.I wasn't able to get a zero but I would have.

Server not friendly or helpful at all but the food was excellent. The new location and ambience were great. Four stars because of the attitude of our server. We hoped and prayed that all was well with him. No animosity.

We were promptly greeted and seated. Check. Cody, our server, was pleasant and engaging. He answered questions about varying menu items including an assortment of teas they serve, favorite items and today's special offerings. Check, check. My husband got the French toast flight with one slice each of blueberry, strawberry, almond, lemon caramel and sweet potato pie. He was in heaven. I joined him with lamb chops, over medium eggs and hash browns with cheese. The cheese was well blended and thankfully not overpowering. The eggs and chops were cooked exactly as I requested and the flavor was a burst of joy! So kudos to the kitchen for their food perfection!!! Check, check & check!! I am from DC, and every time I come to Chicago, I will plan to include a trip to Batter & Berries. The ambiance is fun and welcoming. If you like house music you'll be happy for sure I recommend adding this place as a "must do!!" I give it a 10 out of 5 stars!!! Oh and by the way, the place was packed as people still made their way to the restaurant during a major snowstorm!

The food is excellent. Be mindful of holiday weekends to expect a long wait. Come early before 11:00 am or later after 1:30pm. Very patient staff although the bus boy took my husband's food a bit premature but we didn't even sweat it. I had the breakfast sandwich with sweet potato fries!! Hearty servings and the staff is super patient and kind always.

Tried this spot because it saved me 8 minutes on my commute. Big mistake. The food, service, and wait are all a no. I'll stick to the one up north where at least it's worth it.

Didn't even sit down. We waited outside for an hour and a half. They had plenty of empty tables and other parties were called in before us, despite them arriving after us. Their entire "wait list" queue was out of order and disorganized. I went in to ask about the queue and the hostess explained they needed to move tables around for us and then our table would be ready... there was an empty table for 6 and another for 4 in view. As they were preparing a table that had been empty for 20 minutes for us, we decided this business wasn't worth our business and left. A disorganized, inefficient, and mess of a restaurant. It was worth us leaving and walking to a different location over waiting another 3 minutes

We arrived and were told that it would be a 20 minute wait for a table so we made a to go order, waited 20 minutes and were told that they lost our order so it would be another 20 minutes and ended up waiting a total of an hour just to get a to go order.

I visited batters and berries south loop for the first time. my wife and I both ordered food. She received her food and ate it. my food didn't come out until her entire meal was finished. I returned the food after my wife had eaten all of hers. They didn't offer any type of compensation for the terrible service. I will never visit there again.
