Bay 13 Brewery and Kitchen

Great brewery at the heart of Coral Gables. The restaurant has fantastic decor, and the large exposed tanks add a very cool touch. The service was excellent, from the server to the food runner, always attentive and friendly. The food was also very good. We started with the chicken wings, which were a great size and super crispy. We ordered three different burgers, and all of them were delicious with generous portions. The wide selection of house-brewed beers is definitely a plus. I’ll definitely be back!

You know, I’m here for another good review. This place smells like a brewery meaning it smells a little weird in there and I think it’s because the brewing of the hops. Don’t know how that exactly works, but that’s what I think. Bathrooms look clean as you can see in the photos, which is always a good sign The beer here is great. They make it right here at the brewery. The food here is also good I think the best place to have happy hour outside is Bay 13 on their courtyard next to the fountain

Loved the atmosphere and service here! Allie our server was exceptionally kind, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and sweet. This made the already nice experience even better. Was here for happy hour and just had light bites, so I can't comment on much on the food, but it LOOKED good. I'd give it 5 stars if they had more healthy menu options available. Still, highly recommend!

We had our wedding reception at Brewery 13, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more! The staff (especially Stephen) was incredible — friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. The food and drinks were amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect for celebrating with family and friends. We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful and fun the night was. Thank you, Brewery 13, for making our wedding day so special. Highly recommend — 5 stars all the way! Star and DJ Pena.

I love Bay 13 Brewery & Kitchen! It's right in the heart of Coral Gables. It's a beautiful and inviting space that's great for hosting events (I host community Pilates classes here). I've also seen baby showers and other private parties held indoors. Oh and I love their brunch/lunch menu. My go-to order is the burger and " The G" beer. Thank you to Kelly, the Sales/Event Director, for all his help!!

My wife and I had our weddings reception at Brewery 13. We rented the outside for about 80 people and it was perfect. The food, drinks and music was simply amazing! Taylor, Stephen and staff were the best! My wife and I highly recommend Brewery 13 for your special event. Thank you Brewery 13!

Our recent visit was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve ever had. From start to finish, the service was absolutely unacceptable. Our server managed to spill two full glasses of wine on one of our guests — completely drenching him from shoulder to ankle. As if that wasn’t enough, another server later dropped a food-covered fork on the very same person and stepped on another guest’s foot. It didn’t stop there. The server couldn’t even fix a simple wobbly table — one of our guests had to get down and fix it himself just so we could dine comfortably. The worst part? The gentleman showed no concern whatsoever. Nothing was comped, no apology offered, and the mandatory 18% gratuity was still added to the bill — despite the disastrous service. For a place associated with our college alumni chapter, this was incredibly disappointing and embarrassing. We expected better hospitality, accountability, and basic professionalism. Sadly, we’ll be sharing this experience with others and won’t be returning.

Had a fantastic dinner at Bay 13 on a Sunday evening. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was excellent—my waiter was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I had the chicken parmesan with fries and a beer, and everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. It’s clear the team here cares about both the food and the customer experience. Highly recommend if you’re in the Coral Gables area—I’ll definitely be back!

The chicken and waffles were some of the best I've had. The brined pieces of meat were tender and juicy, and the coating was crispy and not too thick. The berry compote was delicious and I could have used another scoop! Worth a try if you're in the area, it was not busy for brunch on the Sunday morning we were there.

Tacos of the day were short rib with mango chile salsa. Not too spicy and the seasoning on the meat was perfect, it didn't need much else. It's an appetizer item so they are very small. Around $12-14 Ordered the GIN DAISY mocktail. This was a joke and an insult. It was just Minute Maid Pink Lemonade upcharged to $10. It was also excessively sweet and difficult to drink. Just AWFUL. For that I would have ordered a soft drink at $5 or less. Vibe outside is sports bar -ish but slightly elevated. Casual but not ratchet. Football in the screen and a couple of people at the outside bar. Their beers I heard were not as good. The CranApple Mule Mocktail tasted more of ginger beer than any cranberry-apple.

For a place located in Coral Gables you would expect it to be better. A friend brought me here . It is very family friendly with outdoor seating. I went for the fish and chips . It was okay. Presentation was not good . As pictured. The taste was lacking. First time coming here. Will be my last time. It was very busy with groups of coworkers also all outside socializing. Very casual. Service was good.

Had the best experience at Bay 13 thanks to our server, Irwin. He was insanely attentive without ever hovering, super thoughtful, and genuinely caring the whole time. You can tell he actually likes taking care of people -- his communication was on point, and every detail was handled perfectly. Total sweetheart. If you go, ask for Irwin. He made the whole night feel easy and elevated.

When the weather is nice, the outdoor seating here is perfect. I've ordered their espresso martini several times and it's always been a hit. The seating outside is nicely spaced between tables so I appreciate the privacy. If you're planning a birthday or a corporate event, it works perfectly for all group sizes and the service is always great. They have a varied menu so you can be certain there will be something for everyone. The street parking in this section is easier since there's a few garages nearby along with plenty of metered spots. I've never had an issue with parking the times I haven't walked over here so that's great. The beer selection is great although I prefer the cocktails. I definitely recommend this spot if you're looking to be directly in the center of the Gables but without the overly busy and congested crowd.

Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating; they even have an outdoor bar to order from! Plenty of beer to choose from, and all of it was really good! Only thing is that it's warm for some reason? They seem to be Australia themed, so maybe just mimicking the way they serve beer over there? Nevertheless, it was really good beer. Food was also fantastic and they have a menu to satisfy everyone! Easy street parking is available.

Bay 13 has the best happy hour! Every day from 4-6 they have happy hour with $5 bites, beers and wines. They recently added some happy hour menu items that we tried. The buffalo loaded fries were amazing! Such a good portion size and the Nashville hot sliders were good as well. The only sad thing is they took off the Buffalo sliders which were my favorite. Love coming here, such a good atmosphere- indoor and outdoor bars to choose from and great service! Great selection of beers to choose from. And recently found out from one of the bartenders that they have the largest Australian wine list in the country. Super cool!

It's so nice to have a craft brewery right in Coral Gables, without having to drive to Wynwood or further. They have a really nice patio, and as we got some unusually cool weather we decided to sit outside. My friend and I opted for a flight each, as there are so many beers to choose from it's hard to decide on one! Not that we have an easier time choosing from the food menu either, lol. We ended up having some wings, which were tender and juicy, although not packing enough heat. The lamb sandwich is delicious too!

The rain brought us into Bay 13--and honestly? What a pleasant surprise. The place has a really cute vibe with greenery on the back walls and big brewing barrels right next to the bar. They've got a full bar too, with plenty of cocktails to choose from. We started with the tuna tostadas--banging choice. So good. We also got wings in lemon pepper and buffalo. They were decent, but definitely not the house specialty. My friends ordered meals, and. I didn't order a meal, but I did try their fries, and they're stars on their own. Crispy, flavorful, and lowkey addictive. I started with a Pilsner, but since I'm not a big beer girl and let Willy surprise me with a drink & he made me a Paloma- like so yummy. My friends both went with Tim Tam which is a darker beer and they both were big fans. The staff was friendly, and they've got a super cute outdoor area I'd love to sit at on a sunnier day. Definitely checking them out again!

Our classic date night: Burger & a Beer. What better place to do this than at Bay 13! Recommended by a friend, we tried out Bay 13 and immediately fell in love. Huge, juicy, delicious burgers - and a wide selection of beer, including those brewed on site. Staff were incredibly kind, service was quick, and the restaurant vibes were fantastic. Indoor and outdoor seating available, private room. Paid street and garage parking nearby.

Always love hanging out and checking out Bay 13 brewing. It's a beautiful space with great food and even better beer. The service is always top notch and each time we visit there's always new and fire beer. Makes me excited each time we visit. Can't wait to be back!

I want to say the staff at this brewery are some of the most attentive servers in all of Miami. I was there for the first time last night with two friends who were commiserating with me over something I was dealing with. The West Coast IPA tasted like a real West Coast IPA, red and hoppy. My friends and I were taken care of really well by all of the staff, as we stayed close to closing time, and our glasses were never empty. Fantastic place. Chicken parm was delicious. I hope to come back!

Really great space, super nice! A great place for drinks and food. The three dip appetizer was delicious. The service was amazing, from our host to our waiter and all the staff. Very knowledgeable on their menu. Really good place to watch the game and for brunch. I will say it is a bit pricey but worth it. Totally recommend.

We hosted our daughters baby shower at Bay 13 this past Sunday. I can't say enough wonderful things about the experience. When we reserved the space Kelly was responsive and very hospitable. He was present the day of our event, serving, bringing out drinks and even cutting the cake. Our server Abby was fantastic, making sure everyone had a drink in hand and food served promptly. The food was delicious and our guests were so pleased. The team was incredibly accommodating and made sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you Bay 13 staff for helping us create a memorable day for our daughter and our family.

We had heard about Bay 13 and we wanted to give them a try. I'm glad we did. The host was so nice and kind. He lets us sit wherever we wanted so we picked outside.We sat outside to take advantage of the Beautiful Miami weather. We had Eggs Blackstone and Croque Madame. We also tried Blue Cheese Roasted Carrots. We order some drinks as well. Overall we had a wonderful time , met some lovely people and enjoyed great food. We will definitely be back.

I hosted my daughter's baby shower at Bay 13 and from the very beginning that I contacted the sales manager Kelly, he made the entire process so smooth. They have amazing food and packages to choose from. Our sever Steven was phenomenal and had my 40 guests in check and doing it all with a smile! The ambiance was amazing and I highly recommend Bay 13 in Coral Gables for any event.

Made a reservation for a big party, the restaurant was completely empty and yet they made us wait over 2 hours for a chicken sandwich (which any fast food place can make in under 10 minutes). Once I asked the waitress for an update they told me it would take an additional 15 minutes with no explanation. The other guests complained of soggy fries, the pretzel was stale, the pasta was undercooked. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Came to check out Bay 13 on a Saturday afternoon for their happy hour. When we arrived they were having an event inside so only the outside bar was available for seating which was fine. However the service was quite slow because of this. The food was amazing though, they have a good variety on the happy hour bites menu and everything was so tasty and decent sized portions for a happy hour. The beers were good but the one I wanted to try was out unfortunately. Overall it was a nice experience, I hope to be back to check out the inside next time and a few different beers as well!

I went here for date night and really wasn't that impressed. I come from the Midwest and love their beers a little more compared to the kind served here.

Food and service is always great in this place! Love the ambience to go on a date or just to come watch a soccer match. Which this is my go to place for that!

I went for brunch this time. while I prefer their lunch/dinner items more due to taste, the items were still really good. This place always serves good food, has excellent servers, and doesn't get annoyingly crowded like other bars or restaurants.

An interesting place for brew as it's like in a huge office building but it totally works! They have a large patio area with some games and such outside but on this hot day we were all for a mellow spot inside and that's exactly what we did! So my go to is usually a hazy ipa and that's exactly what I got it had just the right amount of citrus to combine the hops and make for a yummy beer so much so that I got more than one! Our food was a different story not sure if the kitchen was having troubles on this given night but it took super long for our food to come out on a slow night and I know we weren't the only ones this happened to as the party across from us got one plate and the other like 15 minutes later it was strange but I guess things happen! Our food was very flavorful and just good with the bangers being a bit on the spicy side but not to hot just enough to mix with those yummy mashed potatoes making for a delicious dish of meat and potatoes like how can you go wrong! Overall this was a cool brewery with some yummy food and good beer not sure if I'll ever make it here again but I'd definitely consider it I just hope that the kitchen issues were isolated to that one day but who knows so roll the dice and grab a brew!

Was there couple Fridays ago, pleasantly surprised, enjoyed the evening. Server Kassidy was very good. That always goes a long way. Shishito peppers were great, big portion too. Blue Cheese burger good, but not much by way of the dry figs listed, couldn't be seen or tasted. Great fries. Tiramisu not so good, actually awful, pass on that. Bartender was very slow though that evening, not sure if short on staff, but really really long wait unless you maybe just order beer. Would've had more if only they would arrive. But will return worth trying again.

Beer was ehh. None of us really liked it and service was so slow that we got up and left after it continued to happen. Our bartender was pleasant but was never there it felt like. Kind of a stuffy type of joint

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner followed by our welcome drinks at Bay 13. It was a perfect venue to host our event. The staff was super helpful from the planning stages through to the end of the night. We hosted a dinner for a little more than 30 people. Our guests were able to select between salmon, short ribs and a veggie pasta. They also all had a salad appetizer and huge dessert. Our guests raved about how good and filling the food was. Following our dinner in a private, enclosed room, we moved to the inside bar area and had about 100 guests. The staff ensured that the area was for our guest only and were super accommodating to our attendees. We looked at a lot of venues in the area and Bay 13 was the best space to hold a private event for such a large number of people. We worked with Kelly and he was super helpful in meeting all our needs and staying within our budget.

Had the pleasure of visiting Bay 13 to attend a Sofar event being held there and what a lovely night it was. Accommodating 50 so or plus people, service and attention from the staff at Bay 13 was terrific. Seating was set up in the form of a concert venue and waiters came around taking our food and drink orders. Never once did we have to wait or flag down staff as they were always attentive to our needs while always being conscious not to get in the way of the performance. I shared the fish and chips with my friend and the fish was moist and fresh and the size was very generous. Tatiana our waitress was so kind and great, as was everyone else working at Bay 13, they made the event even better.

This place is beautiful and not only that but it is super clean and very very nice inside. My husband and I went for an event and we were so impressed with the beers and the food combinations. One of their house beers was so damn refreshing and sweet which is what I go for since I'm not big on beer. We went to support some friends on their event and wow! Just perfect. The menu had a variety from oyster shots to duck to ceviche and you can just imagine the rest. Not sure if these items are on their regular menu since we went for an event but doesn't hurt to ask! We will definitely come here again! Let's not forget the top notch service we also received for absolutely everyone who work there to the owner!

Great place to get a cocktail, smoke a cigar and get great food! The staff if friendly.

I have been to Bay 13 on a couple of occasions for happy hour events that were held outside. Since I previously enjoyed the atmosphere here, I decided to reserve the private room for my 2 sons Law School and High School Graduation lunch. I reserved it 3 months ahead of time and squared everything with Kelly. She was very helpful in making changes to the lunch options, etc. Fast forward to mid May, the week of the event, and I realize no one has called me to confirm. So Friday afternoon, the day before the event, I call the restaurant to confirm everything since no one had called me. The gentleman that helped me had issues finding my reservation and finally when he did find it, the three lunch options were all wrong and different from what I had picked. He was able to fix it but this already left an uneasy feeling. Saturday May 17th was our event from 1:30-4:30. They had 1 waitress assigned to our party of 35 people... yes only 1 waitress for 35 people. She tried her hardest but often times was in the weeds. We order some drinks and take pictures and an hour later are ready to eat lunch. At around 2:30pm they bring the house salad and then start taking our orders for lunch. This is where everything went down hill. We waited 2 HOURS from when we got our salad to get our food. 2 LONG HOURS with no food, nothing to snack on, nothing. Everyone just sitting there waiting for the next course. We are now at 4:30pm the time that our reservation was supposed to end and we have not had food, the next party/reservation for the room is waiting outside with their cake and decorations in hand staring at us. So sorry but we need to eat! The waitress kept promising that the food would come out in 5 mins., that they were plating it, that they were getting it ready, whatever excuse she could think of. Time kept passing and no food. We asked to speak with the manager and that was basically pointless. He just stood there like a deer in headlights without much to say and not offering any solution to the problem. Finally at 4:35 we received our food which honestly was not the best. We had 3 options, salmon salad, hamburger and chicken pesto pasta. The hamburger was mediocre and the chicken pesto pasta barely had any chicken. At this point, I would have eaten a rubber shoe if it was in front of me. By now it's 5:00pm, 30 mins past our reservation time and I immediately asked the waitress to please take the cake to the back to be cut, plated and served because the party waiting outside was giving us looks through the windows like this delay was our fault. We all felt rushed to eat because we had to be out of the room. They finally came with the cake and we practically inhaled it and started gathering our things. For what was supposed to be a wonderful and memorable celebration of a once in a life time event, the experience at Bay 13 left an extremely sour taste in our mouth. My husband and I were extremely upset and the lack of effort of the manager to resolve the situation was ridiculous. The waitress apologized profusely and we were told that the issue was that the kitchen was understaffed. As a business owner, it is my responsibility to make sure that my business is running smoothly and if there are any issues then I need to step in and handle it. This event was booked 3 months in advance. Knowing that you have a private party of 35 people plus your regular patrons, you make sure that you have 2 waitstaff assigned to the room. If someone from your kitchen called in sick or didn't show up to work, as a manager you roll up your sleeves and you start resolving issues in the kitchen. If it's been 2 hours that your guests have been waiting for food, you bring out chips, bread, peanuts, whatever you have and try to fix the situation. The way the understaffing issues were handled by the manager and the restaurant were unacceptable, especially considering that were spent a few thousand dollars on this lunch. I will never reserve an event at Bay 13 and I can only imagine the service and issues the party after us had.

Cute place. Cute vibe. Came here to grab a drink and some apps. Everything was delish and the drinks are great. Sat at the outside bar bc inside was reserved for a huge party but it was nice and cool outside. Crème brûlée was amazing. Bartenders were great and friendly.

Came here with a few friends to eat and have some drinks. They have some great happy hour specials on drinks, even on the weekend! I tried a couple beers, both great. The cocktails on the other hand weren't so great kinda watered down . The service was very welcoming and attentive. I am not sure what was going on in the kitchen, but I would not recommend eating here. The food was horrible, i have never ordered so many dishes at a restaurant and found them all to be terrible. The hummus platter was very sad, the shrimp skewer brought 4 tiny shrimp I could barely chew, same for the fish and chips, the list goes on. I would recommend to just have some beers here and hang as it has a nice atmosphere

I have been there several times, every time left good experience Their food is really great as a brewery. Definitely recommend their meat pie. Love their outdoor seating, it's beautiful and quiet.

Great place for events with private room. Kelly the manager made it so easy and very accommodating. Drinks were great and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Abby was our server and she was wonderful!

Great spot to watch a game -- whether you're there for the game itself or a cute place to hang with friends. A lot of breweries feel divey/masculine/super casual but bay 13 is super cute and aesthetic while still being a casual brewery. It's a great place to go with group of friends or a casual date night. There's a great selection of beers made right there and there's a surprisingly impressive food menu -- people enjoyed the chicken parm and pulled lamb sandwich. There's a lot of parking nearby.

Bay 13 is located on Alhambra Circle next to the the iconic "Giralda" tower. What I love most about Bay 13 is its spacious loungey outdoor area. Last time I went, they had a fun local band playing. I love their chicken skewers and corvina dip, among other things. I've liked almost everything I've eaten there except the lamb ribs, which also happened to be super messy. My drink preference is wine, and they have a good selection of different wines. Although it doesn't really look like it, they actually have a brewery, so you can also try a selection of different IPAs or craft beers. The only time I was disappointed with drinks was during a holiday event when for some reason, they skimped on the alcohol in my cocktail. My friend commented the same thing, because both of us are lightweights and we usually feel at least a little buzzed after a cocktail, and neither of us was feeling it. Hopefully that was an outlier incident. The host and waiters have also always been attentive, helpful and fast as well. I'd say with a couple of outlying blips, I've always had a great experience. I'll definitely be back!

We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner and welcome reception at Bay13 Brewery, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! Planning an event like this from Baltimore wasn't easy, but Kelly was incredibly helpful with menu planning and answered all of my questions, ensuring everything was perfect. The food was excellent. For the rehearsal dinner, we had about 50 people, and then we opened up the space to over 200 people for the welcome reception. Having the entire area to ourselves made the evening feel so special and personal. Everyone had an absolute blast and stayed until midnight -- a true testament to the fun atmosphere and great service. We couldn't have asked for a better place to kick off the wedding weekend. Thank you, Bay13 Brewery and Kelly Griffin, for making this night so memorable for our family and friends! Highly recommend them for your events

We just hosted my son's rehearsal dinner and it was exceptiona! Gia and Andrea were our servers and they did an extraordinary job! They were pleasant, attentive and everything was on point. Bay 13 is an Aussie brewpub and one of the many working breweries to spring up in Miami over the last few years. We had a late lunch here today (Saturday) @ 2:30pm. They weren't too busy but there was one large party. It's a super cute space with plenty of outdoor seating away from traffic, although since it was sweltering we sat inside. The vibe is totally casual and not the typical Coral Gables pretentiousness. The beer selection is phenomenal! My wife had a flight which included Uno Mas (Mexican lager), Oceana (Australian sparkling ale), Alhambra Honey (Bamberg Marzen Rauchbier), and Goofy Foot (Neipa Ale). She reported the Uno Mas was refreshing and highly recommends the Goofy Foot (hazy IPA), which she said lingers on the palate in a totally pleasing way. The other two were okay, but the sparkling ale lacked vivacity and the Alhambra Honey was anticlimatic. This was a pre-chosen flight, but you can also construct your own from their varied selection. I had the Irish mule, which is made with Slane Irish whiskey and it was perfect! A spicy kick, yet totally refreshing. If I was rating them just on the drinks, they would definitely have earned 5 stars. We started with the Smoked Corvina Dip. It was definitely fresh, but unfortunaely bland. We tried livening it up with some lime and salt, but it remained tediously uninteresting, lacking any of the smoky flavor one tends to associate with smoked fish dip. Corvina tends to be sweet and mild, so it may be just a poor choice for a fish dip. I had the Aussie chicken parmesan, which is prepared with a fried egg, bacon, BBQ sauce, caramelized onions, and cheese. Overall, I found it too be too much, in that there were too many strong competing flavors and an overabundance of ingredients. The caramelized onions were delicious, but clashed with the vinegary taste of the barbecue sauce, which was slathered on. I couldn't tell what type of cheese it was because the other flavors suppressed it. It looked like mozzarella. The breading was heavy handed and bland as was the chicken when I tasted it without the additions. The fries were crispy and bursting with potato flavor. My wife had the Chickpea & Olive salad with grilled salmon, which is a spring mix with red onion, garlic, honey & sun-dried tomatoes. All the ingredients were incredibly fresh and the honey infused dressing was spectacular. There were a few too many olives, but that was easily remedied. The salmon was grilled perfectly, a little char on the outside but still moist. Finally, the service...was incredibly friendly, but vanishing. We had to get up and go to the bar to ask for lime and salt, since our server disappeared after dropping off our appetizer. I also had to track her down for a second drink. Towards the end of our lunch the shift changed and the second group was much more attentive and efficient. Overall, definitely worth it for the beer. Plus they have a full bar, which is not always the case with a brewery and works when your group includes non-beer drinkers. They also have an extensive list of Australian wines, which I'll be back to try. We had a couple of misses on the food, but I'm willing to give them another shot with other items on their menu because they're clearly using high quality ingredients.

Service was really good, the bartenders really know the beers and menu, but the food delivery was reaaaalllllyyy slow.

Cool location and has potential but zero service at the bar. We probably sat at the bar in front of several bartenders for easily 10-15 min. Not once were we acknowledged or asked if we wanted something. It was not busy so that was not the issue.

Beautiful outdoor seating surrounded by palm trees with a variety of seating options ranging from the bar to large low tables, high top, and couch seating. My server was very pleasant but occasionally needed flagging down for refills, placing orders, etc. regardless everyone's food came out on time and fresh. The chicken parma was delicious and a heaping serving that was great for the value!

This place offers excellent craft beer selections! We started with the Greg's flight and one of the options caught our attention - Drop Bear, it was full of flavors! We ended up getting a glass to enjoy the night. They also have a nice outdoor seating area. Will definitely return!

We had a family brunch last Saturday to celebrate my granddaughter's baptism and it was absolutely perfect. The service was exceptional, the food delicious, the drinks perfect and the ambiance was very warm and friendly. The bartender even brought the drinks to our table. They really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We practically ordered almost everything on the menu. I do not like Salmon but the Smoked Salmon Rangoons were so delicious we ended up ordering 4 orders. The Dip Platter was also amazing, we tried all 4 dips. Some of us had the steak and eggs while others had the fish and chips, all perfectly cooked and delicious. Even the kids enjoyed the kids menu. We had an outdoor party of 25, gathering of friends for drinks and food and it was excellent!!!! GREAT service from Angela - so friendly, outgoing and attentive. We all had fun and highly recommend the venue for any event.

I like to try new places, but have been here twice recently--it's that good. It has a spacious inside area, but the weather was so nice that we sat outside both times. There's a large bar, a TV and plenty of seating outside. I'm a Gator and my husband's a huge Cane, but my 2nd time here was with my daughter and her friends and she informed me that this is the second largest "FSU bar" in Miami. My only complaint about Bay 13 is that the TV during the game was a bit in-and-out. Despite being very crowded and busy, service was great (minus not getting my ketchup.) The first time I came I had the cottage pie--which in Aussie style is shepherd's pie with bacon, and we all know bacon makes everything better. It also came with a side salad. This time I tried what my husband had been raving about...Aussie styled Chicken Parm. This ain't your mama's chicken parm! It's described as traditional chicken parm with ham, marinara sauce, cheese, a fried egg, bacon, BBQ sauce, and caramelized onions. Wow, you didn't see that coming, did you? Maybe the kitchen was a bit crazy, because mine came minus the egg, but was still a masterpiece of calories. It also came with chips and a side salad. However, mine came with fries (which is why I waited in vain for ketchup.) I guess chips = fries in the land downunder. I don't know if this was because we were a large party, but the tip was already added to our bill.

Cute brewery in the Gables! I went with a friend on a Sunday and it was a little slow on the outside area, but it was a hot day so understandable. We ordered some beers and I did like mine very much. However, we ordered the fish dip and it was very, very bland. I will not be ordering that again. Our server was very nice and polite so I did appreciate that. I would be back here again and give the food another try because that's all we had. The outdoor area will be lovely once the temperature gets a bit cooler.

My buddy and I went for some beers and dinner. Pork chop was delicious. Old Man and Drop Bear were awesome beers. Erwin was a fantastic server. Gave great recommendations and was very attentive. Live music was a nice touch as well.

I have now been to Bay 13 for 2 private events. It's a great space. The food is good, service attentive and outdoor patio and bar give the private events a nice ambiance having the public right there. Solid spot! Hope to host something there of my own in 2024.

went there for happy hour and had to wait to get service while seated at the bar though there were 3 bartenders behind the bar and no one else at the bar. Had to ask twice for water. when the bill came I was charged non happy hour prices. The week before I was in and bought a shirt- it was added to my bill and included a surcharge/tip.
