When I find a seafood restaurant that does it right, I gladly recognize it with a hearty, glorious review. I could not wait to dig into my macadamia crusted, catch of the day swordfish and while the picture captures the perfectly moist and tender cut, the first bites were hot all throughout without being overcooked. I couldn't stop with just one bite!!! The Mac sauce was delicate and did not compete with the flavor of the swordfish and was not overly salty (most restaurant food is too salty). My wife's fish tacos were cooked in the same manner and there was plenty of fish! This meal was so good that we are looking forward to our return soon! This is how fish is to be cooked and presented. This is a meal and food establishment worth going out for.

Google
Poke Bowl is amazing. Fish and Chips were great, too. The tartar sauce was super good. Picked up items to go and service was prompt and courteous. Hard to find parking near restaurant. Would extremely recommend besides that.

I’ve heard so many good things about this restaurant and I haven’t tried it out yet. My husband said he loved it. And glad we can come here with our friends and couple of friends coming to visit. The foods are all good! The coconut mussels are delicious, the sauce they use is great with anything, breads and fries. I had a lobster roll which is good but not great, it’s a little bit too salty. While my husband’s sushi tower is wonderful, I’ll probably have that the next time.

Checked out Bay Park Fish Company for lunch on a nice, sunny Saturday after completing a short hike nearby. We were with my dog and so we enjoyed the nice weather on the covered patio. Parking/Service: At around 12pm, we didn’t have trouble finding street parking, though I’m sure it can be a nightmare during busy times. Shout out to our waitress Jade for being attentive. There weren’t very many others in the restaurant so everything came out pretty quickly. The inside was pretty spacious with a bar and many 2-4 table seats. It looks like it could be good a larger party. It would seem this place can get busy during happy hour. Food: *If you check in on Yelp, you get 50% off an appetizer or dessert* Unfortunately, the sushi menu was not available until 2pm but we enjoyed the appetizer and tacos! -Crispy Fried Shrimp ($16): choice between lemon pepper panko or coconut crusted. Opted for lemon pepper panko served with cocktail sauce after our server said she liked this better. Nicely battered and fresh! -Bay Park Fish Tacos ($16): you can choose between fish, shrimp, carne, chicken, or halibut. Two tacos served on either flour or corn. Usually served with rice and beans but my husband ordered fries on the side instead. -Shrimp A La Diabla Tacos ($18): 2 tacos served with rice and beans. It was good but it wasn’t that spicy. Overall: Enjoyed the service and food. Will definitely come back to try out other items on the menu!

Google
we are from Arizona on vacation in San Diego, this place by far had the BEST cod I've ever had!! I think I got the entire fish rather than just a little hunk like most places give you!!!The tarter sauce was fresh and delicious 😋. The service was great and the place was clean. We will most definitely be back!! Thank you so much

Google
We came here after a buddy raved about the food and service. Parking is a nightmare, even during the week. Very small free parking and after circling at few times ended up in a paid lot a block or so down. During that time, the rest of the family was sat, but no one came to get drink orders. It wasn't very busy a there were a few servers on, but the timeliness of service never got better. It took a while to get refills on drinks, so we ended up sticking to nonalcoholic beverages. The lids menu is typical, and the main menu wasn't impressive. The Chile garlic edamame was the best item we ate. The kids ordered the breaded chicken tenders and quesadilla with fries. The lids ended up just eating the fries they didn't care for their meals, which isn't common for them. For sushi rolls, we shared a spicy tuna roll basic and hand roll, Tarantino roll, and we were not impressed the rolls were falling apart and again simple.flabors we can get home. My mother was super excited to try their half dozen oysters. She ordered the half poke and half ceviche. They were pretty small, and the poke one had an old fish taste. She did enjoy the ceviche ones a lot better. Overall, we were not impressed and could have gotten better quality at home. This place wasn't good enough to give a second chance while visiting PB. We Wil stick to some of our other favorite restaurants. The servers and staff were very nice and the overall restaurant was clean, they do have a beautiful wood patio in the front, but we came to eat not just the weather outside.

Google
I tried really hard to like this place, and so far, I am not sold on it. I’ll start with the positive. The ambiance was great and we loved the seafood pasta. The sauce and pasta itself were amazing and the fish and clams tasted fresh. *Chef’s kiss* The shrimp in the pasta didn’t taste fresh, they were really bland and dry. The calamari were not bad, but they lacked salt and flavor. The texture though was on point. We also ordered the lobster roll which was a disappointment. It tasted very fishy and fish stewy, and didn’t taste much like lobster or butter. I think the peppers, onions and tomatoes really distracted away from the lobster flavors, but still doesn’t explain the fishy flavor. Good lobster should never taste fishy. Service was very casual. The seating and decor is very pretty and the place itself is beautiful. I would stick with the seafood pasta if I ever go back there!

Google
Heard good things about this spot, and I was not disappointed. It was delicious! I got the 'catch of the day' Macadamia Crust. It was delicious, had flavorful sauce and creamy mashed potatoes. & their french fries are perfectly crispy. Quick service, we went on a weekday evening for dinner. Only thing that sucks is trying to find parking, had to circle a bit.

Yelp
our absolute favorite neighborhood spot. the best seafood you can find and great deals, especially during happy hour! sushi is fantastic, too!

Yelp
We've been here several times and I've always enjoyed the food... great local draft options, and the only criticism was service... this trip everything fell in line and we had a great experience! Macadamia mahi, sushi, and butter cake.. all was tasty! It's been too long... this joint makes the list!

Yelp
If you're looking for the freshest oysters in town, look no further than Bay Park Fish Company. This is like walking straight off a boat and getting fresh fish served to right away. The vibes in this place scream fresh seafood. These oysters are so fresh, I half expected to see them checking their text messages. And don't even get me started on the clam chowder - it's better than what they serve in Boston. Yeah, I said it. Take that, Beantown! The sandwiches here are a revelation. Each bite is bursting with fresh fish flavor that'll make you wonder why you ever settled for anything less. The seared tuna and spicy crab sandwich is basically sushi in a bun, and it's nothing short of genius. And the swordfish BLT? Let's just say I'd crawl miles for another one. It's the BLT's cooler, more sophisticated cousin who drives a convertible and always has great stories to tell. Service at Bay Park Fish Company is top-notch, with a friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. The to-go boxes are the perfect size to fit your sandwich when you don't finish it, which is a lifesaver because trust me, you'll want to savor every last bite later. The only reason they didn't get a full five stars is because my fries were cold when they arrived. But hey, even the sun has its spots, right? Overall, Bay Park Fish Company is a seafood lover's paradise. Just remember to ask for hot fries - you'll thank me later. --- Hope this fits the bill!

Yelp
I hate leaving bad reviews. But today it was evident that I needed to dust off the old keyboard. I've been coming here and having bad service for a couple years now. I understand the difference between a rush and staff being slammed and a place that just doesn't prioritize customer service. In times past I've had staff ask that we don't order what we want because others tables have ordered it and the kitchen is backed up. Fine. I ordered something that else. Another time we sat outside and they took our order and messed it up, didn't take responsibility and for 4 tacos and an app it took an hour to get the food we didn't ask for. Today we came in midday, post lunchtime and it was a half empty restaurant. There was no host or hostess. Took 10 minutes standing at the front to get one unpolite waiter to even acknowledge us and a few more minutes before a host said "sit whereever" We did. We had to get our own menus. 10 more minutes and finally a guy came out and took out order. 40 minutes later I had to go find him and ask where our food was. Two tacos and a salad. 10 more minutes went by and we finally just left. This place has OK food but a one hour wait, no customer service,l and nobody there who gives an ef... that isn't going to cut it. We ended up nextdoor at Luce and got sat, drinks and food all within a 10 minutes and it was really good. Good staff, kitchen was humming and the place was packed. Whoever is the manager there needs a high-five. So all that said, We will never set foot in Bay Park Fish Company again and neither should you. Head to Point Loma and spend your money at Mitches Seafood. At least the wait is worth it.

Yelp
Finished playing pickleball at the Mission Bay Resort at 3 pm but their bars' happy hour doesn't start until 4p. So we found this restaurant close by using Yelp and their #HappyHour started at 3p and ends at 6 pm. Their HH Thursday $1 #Oysters were darn good and the side of #ShoestringFries was crisp and plentiful #SteamedClams were delicious and I had a #BloodyMary spicy and to my liking, Our server was super nice and we will be back!

Yelp
Searching for some fresh Seafood, the review seemed decent and we were able to get seated right away. The service was just okay, no checking in to see if anything was needed so that was disappointing. The food was average at best, when fish is overcooked it is a bit dry. I had the fish tacos and the beans and rice. The beans were pretty good. Not bad, but not great.

Yelp
I was uncertain if I wanted fish tacos or sushi. Well this place has the best of both worlds when it comes to fresh seafood and ingredients. I ordered a small hot sake. I got the basic California roll and a speciality roll. The place is clean and plenty of parking. The staff was very attentive and answered questions related to the menu. We sat outside but the interior decor is inviting, there's also a cool bar.

Yelp
This sushi is always sooo fresh and yummy everytime! I order the shrimp tempura roll often & the garlic roll is also amazing! Shrimp scampi was INCREDIBLE. Huge portion, perfect for 2 to split and get sushi rolls

Yelp
Had the blackened fish tacos and damn they might be the best fish tacos of my life. Cant wait to come back and try more!

Yelp
The food was good, we had tacos with beans and rice on the side. The location is great with outdoor seating and street parking. There is a good amount of seating inside and out. The service is great as the staff are very nice.

Yelp
We ordered the blackened halibut fish tacos and macadamia crusted halibut covered with Kung Pao Beurre Blanc sauce atop garlic mashed potatoes steamed carrots and asparagus. Both dishes were amazing. Service was excellent and atmosphere was chill. Highly recommend.

Yelp
When I read that someone said that this place had the best Seafood Pasta they ever had, I had to check it out. I have to say, their Seafood Pasta was really good. It had plenty of fish and other seafood but the mussels were a little fishy. My favorite was their creamy spicy sauce the pasta was cooked in. I would definitely be back for the pasta. My boyfriend had half shrimp Poboy and clam chowder. He liked the Poboy but wasn't the biggest fan of the chowder. We both liked their ahi stack with wonton, but wished the sauce that was used wasn't as sweet. All in all, food was good and serve was great.

Yelp
First time trying Bay Park Fish after hearing about it for years. It was absolutely delicious. The fish was so fresh, like they caught it that day. Along with the food in the photos, we also got the smoked fish stack as a starter and WOW...so good. The rainbow roll had a great variety of ingredients and again was so, so fresh. Similarly, the salmon tacos were very well seasoned and had so much flavor and some good crunch. The staff were great at catering to our table. They never made us feel rushed but also never kept us waiting, wondering where they were. I would go back to this spot in a heartbeat. The inside was cozy and family friendly, and it's located next to some other bars and shops.

Yelp
I was visiting San Diego and did a Yelp search for "cheap local seafood" and Bay Park Fish Company caught my eye. This is a very local restaurant that sits in a residential neighborhood and has an obviously local clientele. We dined early on a Saturday (5 pm) and the place was already packed! (They only take reservations for larger parties, however). Since it's located in a neighborhood, parking is at a premium. We luckily found a spot after 5 minutes of circling, so be warned if you're driving. The interior is comfortable and unassuming, with fish on the walls and very sparse nautical decor. The restaurant was created by "two fishing buddies and their wives," and they focus on fresh seafood. On the menu, you'll see items like tacos and stew that features whatever today's "fresh catch" is. So you know you're supporting local fishermen and get really fresh fish. We opted for a cup of clam chowder and a cup of the fish stew for starters. Both were excellent, and the portion size was really big for a cup! My stew probably had enough fish chunks for an entire light meal, and the tomato broth was flavorful and delicious. The clam chowder was thick and packed with clams. Both were excellent. I was pleased at how quickly our food came to the table! Service was friendly, efficient, and very fast, making this a great choice if you have kids or are really hungry and want to eat something that's NOT junky fried fast food, quickly. Our entrees were up next: the grilled local halibut taco plate ($20) and the green chile burrito with shrimp ($17). The portions were in line with the prices (San Diego is an expensive place!), and the seafood in each item was very fresh. I did think my tacos were lacking in flavor, and the green chile burrito wasn't anything that special. The accompanying beans (black or pinto, we got black) and rice were standard fare. I wouldn't call the entrees disappointing, but after how terrific the soups were, it was a little bit of a letdown. Just ask for some hot sauce if you order the tacos. I'd love to go back to dine here the next time I am in San Diego. I think I will order just a piece of grilled fresh fish next time, however. If you're looking for a truly local place that's far away from all the tourists, check this place out!

Yelp
The food the service and ambience was superb!! Our Server was Justin, he's very attentive and always smiling. Made us feel comfortable and welcome. We will be back. You can consider us regulars. The food in here is very tasty and authentic. I recommend this place and I give them 10 stars forget four stars.

Yelp
My wife and I were searching for a laid-back seafood place in San Diego. So glad we found this place! The smoked fish stack appetizer was amazing and my fish tacos and the wife's fish and chips were fresh and delicious! A must stop place if you are in the area!!

Yelp

Yelp
Though there is no shortage of wonderful seafood restaurants in San Diego, Bay Park has quickly rocketed to one of my favorites. They have a great happy hour, and they also get bonus points for HH being daily instead of just on weekdays. We have come here with a bunch of different pals, and everyone we've taken here has had nothing but great things to say about the dishes they've had. I myself am partial to the swordfish BLT--because really now, how could I not be--and honestly, the french fries are some of the best I have had in San Diego. And I promise you I take my french fries very seriously. The brown butter cake is also just fully bonkers. They have a solid beer selection and also some very good cocktails. The parking can be a pain in this area, but it's absolutely worth a couple of loops around the block to find a spot.

Yelp
Discovered this little family owned restaurant on a recent visit to San Diego. The decor is well done and great for the vibe of the place, it has a very 'neighborhood hangout' feel to it. Our server was a wonderful lady with a positive attitude and very personable, I wish I remembered her name. She gave me good advice on the multiple choices and was spot on. The food was really good and priced appropriately for the area. I will return on my next visit to SD

Yelp
If you're looking for yummy inexpensive oysters, this is the place. We try to stop by as often as possible for the happy hour oysters that are $1 on Thursdays all day until 6pm. They also have fresh fish and spicy shrimp tacos that we ordered in addition to the oysters and they also had a nice selection of beers to pair with the fish tacos. The service is good even on busy evenings but the only issue is the parking which is tricky.

Yelp
Always pass by this place and never once been inside until last night. We had my bday dinner and and everyone at dinner kept raving about how delicious everything was! It's also a nice little date spot , very casual yet elegant. Now, on to the best part... the food! We ordered the Brunel sprouts, couple of sushi rolls, calamari, macadamia nut crusted halibut, and some seafood pasta. The sauce they put in the halibut was to die for. Very flavorful and I think it made the dish. My wife wants to come back and she rarely says that about the places we dine at. Oh and peach cobbler was amazing! Congratulations, y'all did a wonderful job and keep it up Bay Park Fish Co!!

Yelp
100000000% we will be back. My only regret is not taking a picture of our beautiful food for this post (I'll do better next time). We came for taco Tuesday and tried the blackened fish, blackened shrimp, and carne asada tacos. DELICIOUS. We also ordered two sushi rolls and they were both to die for. Probably the best shrimp tempura roll I've ever had. Great service at the bar and overall great vibe. Def will be in our date night restaurant rotation moving forward. :)

Yelp
An unpretentious seafood restaurant. Fish as fresh as you can get. I know it's caught fresh! Nice people, nice atmosphere. Great with our elderly parents.
google avatar

Jade Q.

Yelp
Service was 9/10 (took a minute for someone to greet us when we walked in and didn't know where to sit) Waitress 10/10, she was so sweet, checked in us at her right time and loved on our little toddler Drinks 6/10 (very small cocktails and they weren't strong at all, but they tasted good) Food 7/10 interesting sides that come with fish tacos. Cod was cooked very well and the taco itself was tasty, but it was kind of bland. Overall, we'd go back! But we'd both try something different when we normally are "go to" type of restaurant eaters. Once we love something, that's it!
google avatar

Yelp
This is really one of my favorite happy hour spots in San Diego. This is a seafood restaurant through and through. The fish tacos here are great and they are so cheap on happy hour. The happy hour here is one of the better happy hours that still remain. The appetizers here are really good and will fill you up. No need for an entrée when you can get happy hour appetizers.

Yelp
Bay Park Fish Company is a popular neighborhood seafood restaurant which I hadn't visited for a few years. It was crowded as usual on a weekend evening with lots of large families dining out. The bar area seemed pretty full too, but luckily there were a few open two-top tables in the main dining room. Two menus were handed to me, one featuring sushi and the other listing the regular seafood based fare. I asked for a cup of the Hearty Seafood Stew to start my meal. This was made up of seasonal fish in a roasted tomato, garlic, and saffron broth. When I received my cup, it actually was the Bay Park Clam Chowder (classic clam chowder with a citrus California flair). I didn't want to bother my server about the mistake and proceeded to consume the chowder. He later came by to apologize and offered me a free cup of the stew so I ended up with both. Ironically, I liked the taste of the chowder better because of the creaminess. I noticed the rolls on the sushi menu were pricey. That being said, I saw a unique item, the Hali-boat, which was local halibut wrapped around sushi rice topped with sriracha aioli, eel sauce, and scallions. I wanted to try this offering which was served as five pieces because I had never experienced oven baked fish completely wrapped around a rice roll. I enjoyed the taste combination, however a sixth piece or more was warranted for the price tag. For the quality and quantity of food I received, I rated my dining experience slightly above average.

Yelp
We eat here every time we visit San Diego and it never disappoints. Food: always made with fresh ingredients and high flavor profiles = delicious! This visit included the Smoked Fish Salad - something new to us that we really enjoyed. As with all smoked fish dishes, it is on the salty side but that's to be expected. We also enjoyed tacos - panko crusted mahi mahi, grilled mahi mahi, and grilled shrimp. While all were fresh and tasty, my favorite was the shrimp. Tacos were served with spanish-style rice which was moist and refried whole pintos which were perfect! These were served on great tortillas that didn't fall apart along with salsa fresca (akin to pico de gallo). Yum! They do have a Happy Hour which we enjoyed: 20% off appetizers and $2 off glasses of wine and beer. Service: We got there as the servers were changing out their shifts but everything went smoothly and service was excellent. Ambiance: They have both indoor and outdoor options - we chose the latter. As it was just the start of Happy Hour on a Monday, we had the entire patio to ourselves : ) I definitely recommend this gem!

Yelp
It's one of the freshest seafood place you can get . Service was great and fast good beer selection. Their sandwiches was phenomenal!!! The clam chowder was ok... I should of got the seafood soup instead of chowder. I was skeptical of sushi since i didnt see any asian folks, but o man, o man, lol the sushi was . They use quality fish super fresh. Nothing was mushy. It's actually better than most local sushi spot for their price. I will be back

I got a fresh dozen of these tasty morsels. Comes with horseradish, lemon, and nice migonette. $2 Off wine glasses...I got a glass of the Pinot Grigio, only $5! 20% Off appetizers...we got the tasty, crispy, fried calamari for $11.20 rather $14. Satisfying as always $16 Tuna & Spicy Krab Torta...a generous filet of seared tuna(7-8oz?), a lot of spicy Krab, lettuce, onion & tomato & chipotle aioli on a fresh torta roll. I eat a lot, and I will say this was filling, and delicious! Service was a tab slow on this Saturday, but the friendly staff was hustling and working as fast possible. The food is all fabulous, with nice casual and clean atmosphere. The patio is dog friendly.

Yelp
Rip off! Zero..just zero stars. Been going here for about 8 years and it's just been a decline. Not only the quality of the food but what you get for the obscene price has been very disapponting. Inflation exists but this is obscene and unreasonable. It's just the definition of a rip off. Never again, and you shouldn't expose yourself either because the quality is not what the restaurant states either.

Yelp
Great service ! Good food . Nice and neat little location Great Happy Hour menus Definitely will stop by here again soon .

Yelp
After so many rave reviews we went with our family for a Tuesday night dinner. The place did not seem very busy but due to a staff shortage we had to wait. After being seated it took a while for a male waiter to tend to our table. He seemed bothered to have to wait our table, maybe that's not his regular job there. Either way, there was attitude and blatant rudeness. One time he came to ask if we were ready to order to which I replied 'yes', but asked if my kids were as well. He was audibly impatient over it and even asked again if we were ready, "are you?". We tried many different things. Some were good and some were okay. Nothing felt worth the price paid for the entree. And due to the very rude service we would never return.

Yelp
This place is phenomenal! The fish is so fresh. Came in for a work lunch with some coworkers and we ordered the Brussel sprouts and Haliboat apps. Both delicious! The Haliboat app is really unique. Basically sushi with halibut, rice, eel sauce and spicy mayo. My coworkers and I all ordered the macadamia but crushed halibut. The flavor profile was phenomenal. The fish was so fresh. The mash potatoes and veggies it came with were the perfect accompaniments. Service was great. Can't wait to come back here again in the future!

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing. There is so many choices on the menu from fish of the day, to sushi, just smoked salmon. If you like fish and seafood, this is definitely the most hidden gem in San Diego. . It's not just the quality of the food, it is also the amazing customer service. They have a daily happy hour where certain foods are discounted, and this place has such a cool vibe. If you're looking for a place to have seafood and some good drinks, I highly recommend Bay Park Fish Company .

Yelp
I moved to bay park in November 2023 and this is the place I want to take everyone that visits!!! I love it!!! Fish tacos and ahi poke stake!! My favs!!!

Yelp
I wish I could go back in time like Leo in Inception to eat this meal again. The sashimi was fresh and perfectly prepared. The sushi roll was packed with flavor. The clam chowder was a heart warming throwback. The ceviche actually taste so good it made me want to dance. I think I'm still dreaming.

Yelp
Super cute place that was honestly great for our party of 8. We made reservations and they were flexible with the fact that we were a few minutes late. The wait staff were very welcoming and quickly took our orders. The pineapple jalapeño margarita was the perfect level of spicy and sweet. The Bay Park garlic roll had good flavor and was a little on the spicy side. All of the portions were plentiful. Only reason for 3/5 starts is because unfortunately I had food poisoning and this was my only meal yesterday.

Yelp
Incredibly fresh, wonderful food! Friendly staff, very professional, knowledgeable and fast! Clean place, indoor-outdoor seating and most importantly the food wow the food is amazing! My husband had the fried shrimp he loved it! And I had the most delicious sushi tower! I want to go back and have it again! Thank you guys!

Sudarat Yokie P.

Yelp
Love the food. Amazing service. Easy parking. We ordered blackened fish tacos, seafood pasta, shrimp scampi, clam chowder, macadamia sushi roll, sunset roll and Brussel sprouts. The one thing that we don't like is the soda that we ordered was flat.

Yelp
When I think of a fish cafe, I think of serving fish not Sushi nor other items that have fish in them but strictly Seafood. This place is trying to do it all but it's doing more than I think it should. This staff is friendly and I will say the food was good. I had the clam chowder which was nice but it pales to New England clam chowder. I had mahi-mahi in the picante Style which was just okay. The sauce is very saucy and little flavor. I don't see myself coming back here again.

Yelp
Came here on a rainy Sunday after visiting Seaworld and the restaurant we wanted to go to being closed. There was a wait but we took bar seating and were seated quickly at a high top table. We ordered drinks. I got a rose $6 and my husband got the Bay Park Iced tea $9 (spin on a long island iced tea). Got food we got the shrimp tempura roll $8, seared ahi $30, seafood pasta $28, kids chicken strips $8 and fish and chips $15. The chicken strips was a chicken breast cut into strips and had a panko crust/coating. The kidlet ate it. They didn't have bbq sauce so they made do with ketchup. The seafood pasta which was "Fresh fish, mussels, clams & shrimp in a spicy cream sauce served over linguini. Served with bread." So good. All the seafood tasted super fresh and it was the perfect amount of spice. The restaurant has 2 large glass windows so there is lots of natural light. Tables in bar were placed close together but didn't feel crowded. So glad we came here and will be back to try other dishes!

Yelp
If you want fresh fish, all sorts, you need to come here. This is one of the few places in San Diego that offers fresh fish at reasonable prices. The service is always good in the ambience to classic bar restaurant but Cleaner vibe

Yelp
Yesterday, my wife and I took my wife's mother (91) to a medical appointment in the afternoon and afterwards, decided to enjoy an early dinner together. She was in the mood for seafood and we decided to go to Bay Park Fish Co; it's very close to her home and she has eaten there before but this was a new experience for my wife and I. Parking is a challenge but everything else about this restaurant was exceptional and memorable and I can't wait to go back again! Service by our waitress, Niyaz, was equally exceptional and memorable and her attention to detail and focus on kindness was so appreciated. Since this was my first dining experience at Bay Park Fish Co., I wanted to try a variety of dishes so we ordered 4 appetizers, . . . . (YES, 4 appetizers) that were delicious: Lemon Pepper Shrimp - really delicious Crab Cakes - OMG! I could have both by myself!! 3-Piece Sashimi - My wife had this all to herself so that speaks volumes! ;-) Sunset Roll - Good but, . . . .not GREAT. But their fresh ginger - GREAT! For my entree, I had the Picatta Catch of the Day using Mahi Mahi and I could eat this every week it was so delicious and the perfect blend of flavors with the panko crust and the fresh lemon juice with capers! And their carrots and asparagus spears were perfectly cooked and what I would describe as al dente. Mom didn't finish her carrots so I took them home for my dinner tonight! My wife ordered the Seared Ahi entree and every bite was delicious she said. Each dinner plate included mashed potatoes that I would rate as good, a little firmer than I like and a little less creamy than I like but it was the perfect accompaniment to the fish and carrots. I believe they use a broth for the mashed potatoes and I like more half and half to add creaminess but every bite of potato was gone! AND THE BROWN BUTTER CAKE! OMG!! So, for me, the gold standard of Butter Cake is the one at Mastro's Steakhouse, . . .although, I just had the Butter Cake topped with Sour Cream Ice Cream at Rare Society last week, which may be the new Gold Standard, . . . . . . . but the Brown Butter Cake here is exceptional - it's so good, if I were in the area and wanted a little dessert, I would go to Bay Park Fish Co and sit at the bar and order the Brown Butter Cake with a coffee!!

Yelp
Unsure how I've lived down the street for as long as I have and not made my way over here but Bay Park Fish Company was fantastic and I'm glad it's now in my life! My dad, dog, and I were able to sit down at an outdoor table immediately on a Saturday evening and get our service started right away. Our waiter was awesome, super attentive and checked in us regularly. We ordered poke for the table and then both got tacos (I got grilled shrimp and my dad got fish) - we both loved our food! Honestly for the tacos, I could've gone without the rice and beans but it didn't hurt to have. Will be back!
