The 20 Best Restaurants In Providence 2024 - Providence - The Infatuation

"With pothos dangling from the rafters and a tap list chock-full of local beers, Bayberry is a modern beer hall that’s lowkey enough for a quiet Thursday evening, but also ramps up for a real Friday night out. Order a frothy pilsner (or anything else on tap), a housemade pretzel with beer cheese, and a chicken schnitzel sandwich with curry aioli. If you don’t want to share one of the community tables, booking a reservation might get you a cozy nook." - Grace Kelly

Fantastic food, beer and service -- a must-have when visiting Providence. We dined on the pickle plate, beef tartare, and chicken schnitzel sandwich; a small, medium, and large plating, by the restaurant's measurements. This was not only a fantastic array of flavors, but also a fantastic portioning amount for the two of us to split, at a very reasonable price. We also had two flights from the superb draft selection. Many good choices for all sorts of varieties, from the familiar to the more experimental palettes. For dessert, we had the peach upside-down cake. I usually don't go for desserts at restaurants, but this was incredible. A delectable blend of savory and sweet tastes and textures. The service was extremely prompt considering the dishes and number of guests that night. The atmosphere was pleasant and not overwhelming, with music at an acceptable volume, and, despite the crowd, surprisingly minimal din. Overall, I give this restaurant outstanding marks in all categories. 6/7

Google
Spectacular chefs here with a great menu every time. A good combination of fancy and casual. I love being able to see into the kitchen. It’s kind of counter service. You place your order at the bar and they bring it over to your table. Very well made. Helpful staff. Plenty of seating. The food took a little while to come out but the drinks were quick. Appropriate for both adults and kids. A couple at the outdoor seating had a dog with them. A little hard to park around here. Edit; the last time i just came here the food took a reasonable amount of time to come out. They maybe hired more staff in the kitchen or they may have been behind the previous time i visited.

The food was ridiculously good. We sat at the bar and the waitress was so nice; the food took a while to arrive but when it did, it was stunning. We got the dumplings and the seared gnocchi. The gnocchi was surprising and delicious; it is heavy but the flavors were great!

Google
Excellent, highly recommend! Great local beer choices. Flights of beer are a great way of trying a few different options. Food was really good as well, particularly the fries. Staff was super friendly and service was really fast. Dog friendly outside along the wall. Street is a bit busy for nervous dogs.

Bayberry beer hall has a great atmosphere for drinks or a night out. The food was very good, and you can tell there is a lot of attention to detail put into everyday dish.

Google
Our first stop on a visit from out of town and it didn’t disappoint for one second! Amazing beer list for me and cocktails for my lady. We got the Portuguese sweet bread, chicken biscuit, & huevos rancheros add roasted pork. The house hot sauce was a great touch. Can’t wait to make it back!

Google
We went to Barberry's for brunch about 1pm on a Saturday. I got the chicken and waffles. It was good. Everyone got different food. Their portions were quite generous. You self go to your table, read the menu then self order. They were pretty fast with serving. Very pleasant place.

Google
Bayberry is a large, open beer hall with an amazing beer selection and a refined ambiance. They typically have 14 beers on tap and many more in bottles. The space is very clean and most of the decorations are plants, giving the space a vibrant but chill atmosphere. The best and biggest surprise is the food, though. Some of the dishes, particularly the spicy chicken sandwich, are as good as you can find anywhere in Providence. It’s not cheap, but the quality is so high that it doesn’t matter. Check this place out!

Yelp
I wish I reviewed this sooner! Bayberry Beer Hall had their last day on Sunday :( I've been going to Bayberry since they opened years ago. It's amazing to watch a place transform over the years. I've seen so many tap take overs, giant celebrations, and amazing times here. I always loved the brunch. Great options and it's nice to see the place with all much natural light. At night, it was darker but still bright enough to see. Amazing tap list with great dinner options. It was a staple in the community. So sad to see you guys go!

Yelp
Having been to Providence a ton, I'm honestly surprised I've never ventured into this little gem. I was thoroughly impressed with it all; the decor, layout, beer selection, food & knowledge/quality of the staff. To top it off they also offer wine & nitro coffee on draft! Everything was what I could ask for and then some. A great crowd with some international guests as well. Looking forward to trying this place again soon. Highly recommend for any craft food & beer connoisseurs!

Yelp
We were celebrating a birthday, and so we went here to enjoy the food, drinks and vibe of the place. We all ordered different items from the menu. I really enjoyed the Hot Chicken Sandwich, as well as the House Pasta with Lamb. We all sampled a bit of each other's dishes and really had an enjoyable evening. The service was outstanding. We were saddened by the news, as we were paying, that the restaurant has been sold, and so who knows what it will become in the near future.

Yelp
Such an awesome place. The staff is GREAT and super knowledgeable about their menu. The vibe is very relaxed and casual but upbeat. We ordered the mushroom risotto and it was really unique and delicious. Would definitely try other items too! Portion sizes and price were also reasonable!

Yelp
I have been coming to Bayberry Beer Hall for years. Love the seating, great for meeting with friends and bringing your kids. You can make a reservation which eases your mind about getting a table. Service has always been great. Staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu items. What keeps us coming back (I don't even drink alcohol) is the incredible food. One of my favorites has always been their burger My kids love their pretzels with beer cheese. I recommend the Kale Caesar and any dessert. The chef changes the menu but it's always good!!

Yelp
Something for everyone here! Large rotating list of beers on tap. Many many cans, wines, ciders, and cocktails. Street parking but easily accessible. Hostess will seat you with menus and draft list. Then you go up and order at the bar. Love this set up as you aren't waiting on servers, and can take your time with your friends. Super cute interior, I'd say cozy industrial. Plant walls, twinkle lights, and metal/wood tables. Draft list also behind the bar on a cool marquee type wall. Open kitchen to see the action. Food sounds a little fancy at first glance, but it's all very good! Menu changes so always something new to try. Also like how they have a small, medium, large section on the menu depending on what you are looking for. Just a snack or full meal. Haven't tried the ice cream yet but they also sound great! Fun date night spot, or really any outing. Enjoy!

Yelp
Loved the food here! I would say that is definitely the best part. Specifically the beet salad. Everything was great. We all got a drink, and they were between average and good, nothing great. The one thing I will note for the next person reading this is if you order the caramel apple cider, it tastes exactly like caramel apple cider. Maybe you like this, maybe you don't. So I will that information there for you to decide. The ambiance was hip, had good lighting, clean bathrooms, multiple stalls, etc. You go up to the counter to order your food and they bring it to your table. That is good for having your own check if don't want to split with people. Great for groups!

Yelp
Top notch experience. My friend was in town on business and this was a location suggested so we gave it a try. The option of bar, farm table or window seating was nice. I also appreciated the open kitchen concept. We were seated immediately and provided the details on their process, which was simple. They have a great selection of draft and canned beers along with a selection of wine. We grabbed flights and dinner. The food came out quick and was delicious. This is definitely a place I could return to and hang out. And if you're a fry lover... you will want these fries. Great after work spot, in my opinion. Looking forward to going back.

Yelp
Cute interior, friendly staff, great food, and lovely atmosphere! Great selection of beers. This place is ideal for a gathering with friends / colleagues or a casual date night.

Yelp
This is an interesting and unique place. I like the vibe here; fresh & modern. As expected, they have a large variety of craft beers from all over the place in many different styles to choose from. Everyone is likely to find something they like here! My husband and I met a friend for brunch. We had a few beer flights and liked everything we tried. We ordered pretzels to start, which were just the average soft chewy kind, but I really liked the cheese & mustard that came with it. For my entree, I ordered the polenta hash. The presentation was lovely and colorful, however the dish itself was sort of bland. I couldn't really tell where the polenta was or the salsa verde that was supposed to come with it (or maybe it was there?). It just tasted like I was eating black beans and eggs. My husband's chicken & waffles also had a beautiful presentation but he said the waffles were a bit dry. The creativity here is high but unfortunately the flavors just don't match. I would still definitely come back here for the beer selection and maybe just stick with apps for food...

Yelp
Have been here a few times both pre-pandemic and currently. This beautiful spot is no longer a secret and the owners have since created another location. Yeah for growth! Street parking is usually easy to find. Our last visit, four of us showed up on a Sunday for beer and food. It was the least crowded we had ever seen it due to the off time. We were sat immediately. Tables are cafeteria style. You order drinks and food from the far side of the bar. There are very kind servers busing tables and filling waters. The beer selection is incredible. They offer drafts, cans, and bottles. Many local hard to get beers too. You can get a half or a full pour for drafts. The food is delicious. Vegan items are clearly marked and there is more than just a salad! This time, the smoked tofu bahn mi was the clear winner. Crusty baguette filled with smoked tofu, fresh herbs and umami. I ordered the heiwa mapo tofu which was mostly a plate of rice and greens. Wouldn't order that again since the flavor couldn't compare to the sandwich. The purple broccolini isn't very purple, but the romesco is devine. Friends ordered the vegetable fritters and the hot chicken sandwich which they thoroughly enjoyed. There are no vegan desserts, so we opted for a dark beer to end the visit.

Yelp
Meeting 3 other couples for dinner and chatter before a show at Amica Pavilion. It's off the beaten path but not hard to find. Order at the bar and food brought promptly to us in the 'keg' booth. Perfect spot since we were away from the main area. We had a great time, food was excellent and fairly priced. It was the last night before new owners take over - not sure what they will do with the place.

Yelp
Love the food and beer. I had the best grilled romaine salad and dumplings. Always a great choice. Wish they opened at 3:00

Yelp
This was a great stop during our quick visit to the city. The space itself is cute and they did a good job with COVID protocols. We sampled a few beers and sat at one of the indoor tables. I could totally imagine spending more time here either at one of the sidewalk tables on a cool fall day or indoors with a group of friends. There is plenty of street parking in the area so that was helpful as well.

Yelp
"This shit is so good" -- My friend and I right after tasting the gnocchi. Everything was so so so good. Highly recommend the panzanella salad, seared gnocchi, and shrimp gumbo. Can't stop raving! ‍

Yelp
Having been to their flagship restaurant, which is excellent, my visit to the beer garden was incredibly disappointing. Their beer list is lengthy but lacks diversity, leaning heavy on IPAs and with a few other selections sprinkled in. The beers are all "local" from neighboring New England States. The list was a sad shadow to a traditional German Beer Hall. Maybe we came on a bad day, maybe their staff just wasn't on top of their game but my wife and I both ordered burgers and talk about disappointment. They were "smash burgers" but were not smashed, just a standard double patty that was incredibly over cooked (more grey than the concrete floor). It failed at both sides of the spectrum. The fries were actually home fries, ice cold and a skimpy portion. Potatoes are one of the cheapest things in the industry- just fill the freaking plate. On to the ambiance, unlike the sunlit, green filled flagship restaurant. The Beer Hall is half below ground. Dingy and has sprinkles of the interior design from BayBerry Garden. During the day the space feels incredibly basement like and not a place you would want to settle for a few beers. Maybe it's better at night but I most likely will never find out! On the plus side the staff was surprisingly nice about the burgers and refunded us. Still the visit left us disappointed and hungry.

Yelp
Food is incredible and their tap list is always impeccable. Staff is incredible too. Beautiful place all around, give it a visit!

Yelp
I've been to Bayberry for late night drinks but never for brunch. Finally went to brunch today and it was amazing! I ordered the cold brew, fried chicken and waffles, and the short stack. Everything was delicious, but I wish the chicken and waffles had more syrup. My husband loved the mimosas as well. I was bummed that they were out of the kombucha.

Yelp
Top notch beer with fun flavors. Great vibes and amazing server , one was from NY. There's parking across the street for no fee other than going to Bayberry Beer Hall to try out their drinks. No worries if you don't like their drinks, there are always great delicious food as an option. We had a pork Katsu which had great Asian flavors paired along with taiwanese cabbage. The beef dish was delicious too. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
This is our favorite restaurant and has been for the past 3+ years. Where to start? The staff are awesome - super knowledgeable, very accommodating and just really nice people. The food is frigging impeccable. Faves include the pretzel with whipped mustard butter, the steak tartare, pickled veg... everything is just amazing. My husband and I have pretty different taste in beer - he's an IPA guy and I'm a gose/sour/berliner weisse drinker. There are always ample options for both of us! Plus on Sundays, their bloody marys are my favorite in the entire world. Highly recommend you check this funky spot out!

Yelp
My first visit to Bayberry Beer Hall and I am hooked! This place has it all... a fine selection of beer and wine, a mouth-watering menu, and a communal ambiance. Not sure what to expect on a Friday evening around the holidays, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to maneuver the space. On entry, we were greeted within seconds and directed to a space where reservations had been secured for our large group of 13 friends. Food and drink are self-ordered at the bar. With plenty of varieties to choose from, I landed on a local cider and later on, milk stout, to enjoy. The pricing was a bit steeper than I'm used to but honestly, this is a place to sip on and really enjoy your drink. With a menu saturated with high percentage options and carefully selected offerings, it doesn't take much to be fully satisfied with your selections. The food. Oh my, the food. Fantastic. -- Hamburger - Described as a "Weatherlow grass fed beef blended with RI mushrooms, supreme sauce, American cheese, greens, milk bun" it was hands-down one of the best burger I've eaten in Rhode Island. The mushroom blend brought this dish to another level. And I don't even really like mushrooms, so that's saying something. The fried fingerling potatoes that accompanies the sandwich were crispy and cooked to perfection. -- Crispy Fried Brussel Sprouts - Amazing. Cheeto dust topping was an interesting and welcome addition to the already well-prepared veggie. I will absolutely be back. Best food I've enjoyed in-state in a while.

Yelp
Awesome selection of beer and drinks. The tiramisu pie was fantastic. Prices were what I expected. Service was odd, but really friendly (It's a hybrid table service + get up and go order). Ambiance was really nice.
google avatar

Anna Q.

Yelp
Love the area. Parking in the back. Perfect setting for a group of friends to chill on their super cute benches. Super cute lighting and delicious food! I got the chicken and waffles they were both cooked perfectly! The chicken sandwich tasted like the chicken and waffles but different bread type. The drinks were a delight - rose sangria Perfect brunch great place!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best variety of New England breweries in Rhode Island. If you are specifically a fan of Fox Farm in CT, this is the place to find their beers in RI. The food can be a little hit or miss, always tastes good but the portions don't always feel like they equate with the price.

Yelp
Checked out this place for the first time with a group from work. Very very cool, chic and low key. It's right in the community so I would consider it a hole in a wall. There were list of apps ordered and all tasted delicious. My fave was the beer cheese and pita chips. They also had this very good pea pancake. Super good. Their nachos were also legit, spicy but that's why they have beer to cool it down lol. They los had this pretty neat self service water display. Very very good. Def a good place to bring big groups, family, date night or just a solo dolo trip. I was happy to see this is coming from a previous establishment I really enjoyed. Overall very nice place. Will absolutely come back. Parking was a little tough but didn't get in the way! Oh I forgot to mention their super cute beer glasses !!!!
google avatar

Celia R.

Yelp
I came to this establishment 45 minutes before it closed on a Thursday night. I tried to open both doors but neither would open so I made direct eye contact with the bartender and he shrugged. I understand not serving drinks 15 minutes before you close but locking the doors 45 minutes before? It was rude and uncalled for and I will not be bringing my business here again.

Yelp
4 stars for a great location, expedient service, COVID precautions and taste Ambience: I came with two friends on a Sunday for brunch, we were able to get seated promptly. Tables are spatiously spread apart. COVID vaccination proof is required. Ordering you have to go up to the counter for. Food: Sourdough pretzel ($5) - the mustard sauce actually gave it quite a nice bit of kick The bacon ($5) was fine, but nothing more and nothing less Honey buttered fried chicken ($16) - a lovely biscuit sandwich with a good amount of flavor infused. The fries were actually quite well made - a good amount of salt, hearty filling and crisp. Chicken & Waffles ($15) - same chicken as above just with waffle - pretty standard waffle Short stack ($10) pancakes - good berry compote to accompany quite fluffy pancakes Tips/Takeaways: -Would order the fried chicken biscuit over the chicken & waffles, just given that I liked the fries more than the waffle -Pancakes were quite nice -Definitely a great place to consider for a chill Brunch atmosphere!

Yelp
Excellent beer hall in Providence. Cool selection of beer and wine, good and tasty food, long table for everyone looked very much inviting.. Had a feeling it could be busy other not rainy May days.. Reminded me German Bier Halle.
google avatar

Kelsey S.

Yelp
As a non drinker I LOVED that they had cbd seltzer. It's a much needed drink when I go out with others who are drinking and the food is 1. Delicious and 2. They give our hearty portions! Love the plant vibes for Instagram pics and for fresh healthy air vibes!!
google avatar

Yelp
This beer hall is so cute, quaint and just all around great vibe! We stopped in late afternoon (we didn't make a reservation) and the hostess moved things around to accommodate us and let us sit outside! We didn't order food because we just ate, but man i wish I was hungry. the food looked and smelled AMAZING! We did order 2 pretzels and they were pretty spectacular. The beer is all microbreweries from mostly NewEngland and the wine selection is geared towards beer drinkers. I hear their brunch is amazing and their burgers are divine.

Helen W.

Yelp
Bayberry has fantastic food! The pretzel app is delicious and the large plates have been amazing every time. They always have a great cider on tap, which is great for those who are less beer-inclined. Servers are friendly and helpful. Bayberry has a lively atmosphere which is always fun!

Yelp
I have eaten here twice so far, and both times it was simply amazing. I love the look of this space, it has plenty of plants, picnic tables, and a nice open space for the kitchen. This restaurant is a relaxing, trendy and welcoming spot. The staff are always nice and service is quite fast. In terms of food, I have gotten a number of different items during my two visits. My favorite item is for sure the burger, which has a side of smashed fingerling potatoes that are to die for. The burger itself always come's out perfectly cooked and the bun they use is delicious and soft. I also really enjoyed the deviled eggs, they are flavorful and a perfect appetizer prior to the burger. The standout feature of this spot is their beer list. They tend to have local, fresh, and just seriously tasty beers on tap at all times. The list is always changing and reflects the owners love of supporting local businesses. Overall this spot is the perfect beer hall experience. It's clean, welcoming, aesthetically pleasing, and with beyond solid food and drink options. I will be back very soon, I'm craving another one of those incredible burgers already.

Yelp
Great beer selection, nice open seating area and cool vibe. The food was eclectic and delicious with something for everyone. Staff was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
We came for the beer BUT THE FOOD IS PERFECTION. We found this place on our last night in Providence, unfortunately. I would travel to this city again strictly to revisit Bayberry.

Yelp
We hadn't been back to Bayberry in a bit, but it was a nice day and we figured we would stop by. So glad we did! The beer choices were excellent and they had great service! Everything was Covid safe with plenty of sanitizing and care for the customers. We had just come from brunch so we didn't try the food. We will definitely be going back to do that . The whole hall smelled of delicious food, and everything going by looked fantastic.
google avatar

Yelp
Very good experience here. Had a grass fed burger with fries along with a Triple Jam Cider. Burger looked small for $18, but it was delicious and filling. Very eclectic setting. Highly recommended.

Yelp
A great gathering place for the young and upwardly mobile. Nice hipster vibe with a diverse offering of craft beers for the aficionado. Beer is pricey, ranging from $7 - $12. I enjoyed the pilsner on tap but the strawberry kiwi cider was too sweet and syrupy. The best bargain is going for two-for Tuesdays (a $7 beer and a burger with potatoes for $15). The roasted cauliflower salad is elegant and flavorful, though the portion was small given the price. The atmosphere is beautiful with ivy and overhead twinkle lights. It can get a bit noisy when at full capacity and it can be tough to carry a conversation. This is a hip place, though I don't think I'll be a become a regular necessarily.

Yelp
I'm sorry, but I was not impressed with the food here. The decor is fine, and it was very busy with families and friends on a Sunday brunch day. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves so I was excited to try the food. We were a group of 10-12 so managed to get the small cubby area. It was tight but we were all together. After much deliberation, I decided to the go for the basic - $13 Farmer's Breakfast - (two eggs your way, bacon, fingerling potatoes, fruit, & English muffin). It was OK. I had scrambled eggs which were good, the bacon was overdone, English muffin cold and overcooked. Potatoes too salty. And a mimosa which was delicious. Others got the chicken and waffles which they said was fine but the waffles were overcooked. We waited a long time and got our meals sporadically, and even when most everyone had their meals, there were still 2 people who had not received their meals. So we waited while the poor 2 people felt like they had to rush to eat. They also brought us dishes that we did not order and just left them. Kitchen seemed overwhelmed. Overall everyone said it was a nice time and the place seemed nice but the food was just OK.
google avatar

Robert B.

Yelp
I'd give 4.5 stars for the food, which was quite good, and deduct 1.5 stars for the exorbitant prices given how awful the pours were, and the generally aloof service (especially the male bartender wearing the running hat, who didn't crack a smile for an hour straight). I would never go out of my way to have a beer here, even though the selection is right up my alley. Instead I'd come for dinner and might get a beer. Might. Prices were easily highest of my 10 day trip to Rhode Island when you factor how truly bad the pours were re head.

Yelp
Visited Bayberry Beer Hall tonight to grab a drink and catch up with my friend. The hall itself is beautiful, spacious, clean, and modern. You order at the counter and they bring your order to you. A lot of different options on the menu based on size. I ordered a flight of beer ($12) and went off on recommendations from our server. I enjoyed the cider, light beer, and sour dragonfruit/passionfruit samples I tried. My friend ordered the sourdough pretzel with mustard butter and beer cheese. I tried both and preferred the mustard butter. The beer cheese was a little too creamy. Additionally, I ordered the octopus arugula salad which also had lima beans and balsamic dressing. Definitely a shareable salad, but could've added an extra ingredient to put it all together. Wasn't able to try the house ice cream but will sure try it next time. The staff is also really nice! Would definitely come back again to try their brunch as well.

Yelp
Really enjoyed Bayberry Beer Hall! Sat at the bar and had great service. Enjoyed an appetizer and beer. Both were very good! Smoked blue fish pâté and the Alex and Abby Jack's Abby framinghammer delicious!

Yelp
Loved everything about this place. The vibe was easy but nice chatter around because of the patrons in the restaurants. We had the beer and wine and there is something for everyone. Didn't try food but I imagine it is good as it looked tasty. If looking for a place to drinks and relax and chat with your friends. This place is it.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about Bayberry! This is our go-to place in Providence, whether we're looking for a quick drink or a full meal. There's always a wide variety of rotating beers (both on draft and in cans) and I recently found out that you can buy any of the cans they sell to-go! Their food is also amazing. Just like their beers, there's a rotating menu of delicious entrees. One of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had has been at Bayberry! During COVID, they've been offering indoor and outdoor seating. Social distancing is strictly enforced and they're prompt about sanitizing tables in between customers. They also offer online reservations if you're planning on going during busier times.

Yelp
We had heard great things about their local beer selection. Bayberry Beer Hall is clean and very modern. The night we went there, the inside dining area was packed so we decided to sit outside. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They made great recommendations on beer and dining options. We went with the Fritters, Hot Chicken Sandwich and the Heiwa Mapo Tofu. The fritters were a bit too oily and the chicken sandwich was just ok, nothing to write home about. The Tofu was really good and very creative. There is no table service here (you have to the bar to order your food and drinks and they will bring them to your table). You will be given an option to start a tab or pay when placing your order. While the atmosphere is really cool, the prices are a bit high for what you get. I have never been here for brunch but there are many reviews raving about their Sunday brunch.

Yelp
We had a great brunch at Bayberry today. The staff were all friendly and the food was good. Great beer selection from breweries I haven't had the opportunity to try before. We had a griddled biscuit which was good but slightly on the burnt side. We also had a great side of bacon We both had the chicken and waffles for our main. The serving was a decent size and the waffles were delicious as were the pickles. For me, the chicken was a little lackluster. The fry was good, just lacked a little flavor. We'll be back. I'll just order a different main.

Yelp
My third visit to Bayberry was not a visit, but an amazing takeout meal! I loved my hot chicken sandwich and lentil falafel appetizer. The chicken was Nashville spicy and a nice substantial piece, with fresh pickles on the side. The chicken and the sauce were the stars and they shined. The lentil meatball app was fresh with a great dipping sauce. My wife's sweet potato enchilada was a favorite of hers. We enjoyed a lovely beer from Schilling in NH. Since my last 'visit' I was really impressed to see more regional beer. For example they have a Trillium in a growler plus lots of other tasty local treats. With so much on their menu that looks great we plan to be back for takeout, at least until we are able to visit in person again. Support this great establishment!

Yelp
Felt like having a snack after some brewery hopping on a Thursday night and found myself here. Parking Can be tricky but it's worth finding a spot. What a great place. For us beer geeks the draft list is phenomenal. They have sours and iPas from breweries we don't see often. I had a really yummy Pretzel that came with beer cheese and mustard. It hit the spot for sure. It's such a great atmosphere.Lively and fun. The staff is super nice too. I'd highly recommend it for beer geeks everywhere.

Yelp
I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is the best of its kind here in PVD (and greater Rhode Island, to my knowledge). It mimics an actual garden with all of the greenery (including a wall of ivy, or so it appears from far away), string lights overhead (or so it appears from far away) and the atmosphere is welcoming and fun. They offer flights (3 for $13, which...is pricey. I'd say go in prepared to spend more than normal for beer and snacks, and then you're fine), and that's what I went with. But I needed guidance. Because I tend to like beer that's related to coffee, the bartender directed me to a coffee oatmeal stout that had just arrived. But the surprise win for me (also a bartender's recommendation) was the Allagash Curieux, which she said was aged in bourbon barrels. They have a great selection of food, from light snacks (soft pretzel, killer potatoes) to pastas and chicken sandwiches. There's a serve yourself water station, and while it seems a little overwhelming/ chaotic on a busy night, you figure out the system pretty quickly. This will definitely be a new favorite spot of mine!

Yelp
Visiting Providence, this was one of our favorite stops. Great beer, excellent food and atmosphere. A level up for a spot to grab a beer and a bite.
