Yelp
This is my first time back in many years.
My friend and I came here last Friday evening. We had been to the old location many times way before the pandemic. It was a very old place. This is their new fancy building just down the street from their previous location. You can tell they spent a pretty penny on this upgrade.
I can tell they are trying to appeal to a broader audience, and not just their regular crowd of previous older patrons. It has a new large parking lot, so that's appealing.
Service - we were sat in the dining section. But I also saw 2 seater high top tables near the bar as well. Service was pretty stellar. Our server explained he had worked there for a long time. He did all the big and little things that make a dining experience look easy. Charming, available, courteous, and bagged up our food for us.
Food - since it's the season, I ordered 1lb of their crawfish. $9.99 is their mkt price right now. Honestly, it was ok. I guess to make more $, they dont provide any sauce or fixings included. Mind you, this is Cajun style, not Viet where it's saucy already. You have to pay for their $1.99 extra. I was still hungry. I wanted to order their sautéed crab fingers, but they were out. So, I decided on the pasta glacier (regular size) after recommendation from our server. He said he eats there every day and has had all of the pasta dishes.
It was an interesting flavor that I didn't expect. It didn't seem really cajan inspired, but it was creative! It was fairly tasty. It includes goat cheese, veggies, plus scallops and shrimp, with a light sauce.
