Bayview Opera House (BVOH)

I'm over here at a white Christmas event, it's so unprofessional and unorganized, I had to use the rest room and the lady with the short hair and the stripe long sleeve shirt told me I couldn't use it till 4pm after I was told my an employee there I could use it. So with the toys they waited till last minute to give it, now the line is super long and there's people pushing and shoving. The food truck they had there weren't free, normally I go to events like these because I can't afford to spend money, because all of my money goes to bills. They were charging family's to do kids activities. Events like these for kids are free, so why make Events for the families and children if you're going to charge them? I would never come back here, or recommend it. The line was so long and the wait. I have a back and knee injury so standing in line for me was very hard! And the kids were expecting toys. Also they gave me a Christmas tree took my info down but when I ask for it they gave it to someone else. This is an event to give back to families and children not take from them. They didn't open the door at 4pm they opened the door at 4:20pm. Some of the employees there were very rude also. Not to mention the food truck was not free, events that I go too, everything is free and there are toys for the kids.

Home for artist of all levels. BVOH is comfortable, accessible to the local in community, just right for the community. Stay informed about upcoming events and ways you can get involved.

The newly renovated Bayview Opera House is light and airy. There are historic pictures across the walls of popular cultural locations. My sister whose close to 70 years old noted a venue that she knew about that was there before she was born! My family lived on Navy Road, in Hunters Point in the late 50's. We moved from there to Bayview in 1965. My family was in Bayview when cows were herded down 3rd Street to go to the slotter house. I performed at the Bayview Opera House in the 90's. It was nice then. But it's elegant now! They also have a professional big screen for videos. We deserve to have a historic and beautiful landmark in our neighborhood! It's time again for Bayview to get positive reviews. There's too many violent crimes in our community. Let's celebrate our culture in a positive way. Please come to the Bayview Opera House for your events. Give Bayview something to talk about that's positive and uplifting!
