Bazaar Cafe - Review - Richmond - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Bazaar Cafe in the Richmond has been around since 1998 BC (before Clipper). It’s the neighborhood go-to for cozying up with a latte and a book, or slow morning catch-ups with their breakfast sandwich on flaky biscuits. There are plenty of nooks and tables inside, but on nice days, join the gnome figurines on their leafy backyard patio. And be sure to check their calendar for ongoing events like opera performances, writers’ salons, and a weekly open mic night. photo credit: Julia Chen" - Julia Chen

Best Restaurants and Bars with Live Jazz in San Francisco | Eater SF

"Live music has a hard time making its way to the west side of San Francisco, but musicians looking for a haunt west of Divisadero Street often meander into Bazaar Cafe sooner or later. Rather than exclusively jazz — though this coffee and sandwich outlet certainly hosts those shows — the cafe hosts guitar players, singers, open mic nights, and shows of all kinds." - Paolo Bicchieri

A charming house with a cafe for a living room; the interior feels like a high-end music store—guitars hanging , high-quality loudspeakers filling the space. The poetry reading was intriguing, with gritty and stark themes—and that’s when I wished this cafe could turn into a bar so I could order a few stiff drinks.

It's a very quiet area! The inside of the building is very nice, like a vintage home. The workers there are dedicated, and offer a simple selection of options that although medium, they have a unique look to them! I only had a hot chocolate, but I'll definitely come back to try the rest of them!

What a cool spot in Richmond. Walked into Avett Brothers “I and love and you” playing. Ordered an ice tea and “The Biscuit” with honey butter — yum! They have wifi and open mics.

There’s not enough good things to say about Bazaar Cafe. Loved chatting with the barista/ cashier who had invented 2 signature coffee/ teas on the menu. Tried Mt Fuji Mist tea (sprinkled with Hibiscus sugar), the Caramel Rose Latte, and an Oolong bundt cake. Ended up going on a Friday evening, and there was an indie musician performing - very nice vibes. Grab a board game or read a book, or simply get lost in your thoughts in the cafe. Walked out into the backyard and it’s the most cozy little garden tucked away in the city and is perfect for hosting events. I left the cafe, wanting to go back there again.

Genuinely one of the best cafes I’ve been to in SF. Calm music, really nice people at the counter. The biscuits are DELICIOUS. The garden outside is really cool. Early October is the perfect time to visit.

Google
Bazaar Cafe hosted our engagement party in their incredible garden. I can’t imagine a better place to host a gathering of 10-30 people. Their garden is beautiful and organic with plenty of books and crannies. It was a great place to host a party. Somehow the garden is always 5-10 degrees warmer than the rest of the city. It blocks the wind and keeps everyone cozy. We asked them to create a spread for us and they dazzled us with so many bite sized, delicious snacks for our guests. From a charcuterie board to bite sized Bundt cakes to buttermilk biscuits. They went above and beyond what could be expected. Oh and have I mentioned the cafe supports local artists and musicians?? It’s a cornerstone of the Richmond community. And we were so happy to celebrate in a place not only aligned with our values but where we know our money will help support the artists in our neighborhood. If I sound overly enthusiastic, it’s only because this is my favorite place in the city. Staffed by people who will get to know you and work with you to help share this incredible space for special events.

Such a lovely atmosphere and really good food! Got a sandwich blueberry turnover and an oat latte - they were all amazing. Highly recommend

Google
Lovely cafe with passionate people running the show. Loved the creativity toward tea drinks as much as coffee drinks. Enjoyed a big cup of both the fujian fog and mountain mist while reading. The Fujian Fog with regular milk was well balanced and delightful while the strong campfire aroma from the Mountain Mist, which is inspired by South African braai BBQ, was comforting while exciting. Can’t wait to spend another afternoon here in the future.

Yelp
Cute cafe with a charming garden. I love the variety of plants and the knitted decor. Great place to relax with friends. Coffee is great here and I believe you can buy the beans too. I really enjoyed the biscuit with the butter. Servers come out to the garden if you're seated in the back and also take dishes back. Better service than expected for a cafe! Remember to tip :)

Yelp
I really like the vibe a lot of this place. It has an old skool coffee shop from the 90s atmosphere with nooks and crannies with indoor and outdoor seating. I love the outside patio especially on a sunny day (though realistically the Outer Richmond has more foggy days than sunny). The patio is spacious and enjoyable to sit and eat there. They serve pastries, soups, sandwiches, quiche, biscuits and have lots of different tea lattes. I love any place that has a rose latte. My favorite sandwich is the Cape Town which is basically a grilled cheese with onions and tomatoes. Parking around here is extremely difficult. It's definitely more a neighborhood type place. 1 star off because they don't list their prices on the menu which I find very bizarre (pun intended).

Yelp
Local coffee bar with homemade biscuits and live music!! We had the cappuccino this time and my wife had the lavender latte. Scrumptious. The breakfast sandwich was great, made with the biscuits natch. Great pastries and I recommend the rice crispy treats! The crowd is super friendly and the service is cool as well. Live music in the evening with lots of diverse and fun artists. And they love dogs!

Yelp
LOVED THIS LITTLE GEM!!! My friend's cat got me a gift certificate here for watching her while her owner was away on vacation. Go Irma, you know what I like - and that is BISCUITS. (in the carb, and "kitty massage" formats) Hubbs and I came here for breakfast. I ordered the breakfast biscuit with egg and hubby got the curry biscuit. We also got a sesame match mini bundt. Let's start with what a cute place this is, inside and the courtyard. Also how sweet and welcoming the staff is - It truly feels like a little neighborhood hangout. They have live music some nights - and I want to come back and check that out. My breakfast buscuit was delicious, but now I want to come back and just try a biscuit warmed with only butter, I bet that is great! They also have a small selection of rotating sweet and savory baked goods, all made in house. Hubbs liked his biscuit (with curry) too - it could have been hotter (but that kinda proved that they do NOT use a microwave, which would have ruined the biscuits texture). Hubbs also says the coffee was great - and that is praise he gives rarely . Another person at a table had grilled cheese and soup - HUGE and looked awesome!!!

Yelp
Stopped by to shelter from the rain and stayed for the coffee and pastries. It's a cute little cafe with a lot of working space, which is really nice. I believe they hold events quite regularly too. Service was great. Will definitely enter my rotation of cafes in SF.

Yelp
A Richmond District gem. I typically go for places with speciality drinks which this place doesn't have -- it's just a regular coffee/tea/pastry menu, however the ambiance really makes this place special. Lots of seating but tight so it feels cozy -- huge garden outside to get some fresh air or take work breaks. Excellent option for people who need to study or get work done. I went on a Friday at noon so every seat was filled but it aired out and was empty by 2. Looking forward to coming back and checking out what's at night! Great service as well.
google avatar

Ronald J.

Yelp
Love coming here in the afternoon, the ambience is always nice. They also have live shows. I always order the lavender latte, iced or hot it's the best. There is also an outdoor seating in the back.

Yelp
I had a party for 45 people in Bazaar Cafe and its garden. It was a great space, and the staff couldn't be nicer. The owner gave us a discount on the (tasty!) wine during the rental period and helped with food service. The garden is a wonderful space with many scattered places for conversations and a kind of wildflower ambiance.
google avatar

Tahir N.

Yelp
This is one of the few places left in San Francisco with an open mic night for music. Cozy and intimate on a chilly foggy night. I had a glass of Merlot and a wedge of broccoli/cheddar quiche. Glass of wine was pleasant and the quiche delicious. Definitely a place I will come back to you when visiting friends in the neighborhood

Yelp
Happy 25th birthday to Bazaar cafe. Walked into this unassuming coffee shop to find it buzzing with life! This weekend, they celebrated their 25th birthday, and there is a reason they have been around for a while. Ordered one drink, the table mountain mist: This is a rooibos tea latte with vanilla and smoked paprika brown sugar. The paprika was yummy and kind of sugary. Very unique and sweet treat. Didn't get any food but it looked delicious. Definitely planning to head back and try one of their biscuits. It looks like they also have live music and such frequently. They have a lovely little garden in the back as well as great study spots inside. I'll be heading back to Bazaar cafe soon to try more!

Yelp
Wow this place is GOOD !!! Found this because we were near by visiting bakers beach. Awesome cakes , best coffees. I loved their mushroom latte , must try . Would definitely be back when I am near by

Yelp
Cozy little coffee shop! Great atmosphere with games and a homey feeling. Workers were very nice and chatty. We got a mocha and dirty chai. They were good! Close to get to on a flat street that's not too busy

Yelp
My favorite neighborhood cafe. I love going here to grab a decaf espresso drink and biscuit. If you ever stop by here, I recommend taking to time to enjoy your drink in the shop. There's lots of cozy seating, you can get your coffee & tea in a real cup, and I promise you'll regret if you don't order a biscuit to go along with your drink! The staff is the best!!

Jim B.

Yelp
This adorable café offers a variety of fresh and delicious food and drink. A veggie-forward menu means clean eating. Best freshly-pulled espresso. Bazaar looks tiny, but don't be fooled. Through an alley, you'll find a delightful garden out back. Staff is kind, knowledgeable, and organized.

Yelp
Because I've been a long-time customer and I love having places like this in our neighborhoods, to a certain extent I blindly support this place. And today was one of those days, except today I bought one of their biscuits...for my dessert. They were fresh out of the oven and it was difficult not to eat it but I took it home with the idea that it would be my dessert so I held off and held off. But I just had it for dessert (with the honey butter they provide) and it was SFG!!
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
I went to this place a while back, it's really a hidden gem. I had just come home from Naples, Italy and was searching for a comparable espresso to what I'd just had in Naples (I never found that, but it's ok, it's famous for a reason). This place was just so adorable with a little garden out back that you can go and sit in. The staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly and tried to help me find what I was looking for, suggesting a ristretto in place of a normal espresso as I was looking for something heavier than the espressos I had gotten since coming back to the US. It wasn't what I was looking for, but like I said, I still haven't found it here. This coffee shop is a gem, and a neighborhood staple.

Yelp
Breaking news: Best Flavored Latte in San Francisco Found at Former Secret Spot Bazaar Cafe. I love everything about Bazaar Cafe: the jolly barista with delightfully eclectic style. The olallie berry hand pies. The back garden. The gnome in the back garden. The community arts events that I'm still too COVID-wary to attend, but love seeing updates about on social media. Most of all, I love their lattes, especially since the arrival of their new espresso machine. Go for one of the May Flower lattes, if they're available. Honey lavender used to be my go-to at any coffee shop, but it turns out caramel rose is even better. I mean. What is this place? Heaven in the Richmond District, that's what.

Yelp
This is a love letter to Bazaar and their bundt. 1. What a cutie, lovely spot in the Richmond. This cafe feels very cozy, almost like going to a friend or grandma's home for coffee/tea and cookies/cakes. 2. The wannabe coffee person in me really likes the honey lavender latte. As tea person, I was impressed to see the different tea lattes available. I'll be trying the rooibos latte next time. 3. My favorite thing to get here is not a beverage actually, it's a baked treat and I think about it more often than I'd like to admit. Bazaar makes a really delicious black sesame and dutch cocoa bundt cake with matcha glaze. They had me at 'matcha' but really got me with 'black sesame' and 'cake'. The baby bundt is fudge-like and very moist, not too sweet and is just pure deliciousness and joy. It's also gluten free. 4. I once bought the last one in the case and one of the baristas told me they had another one hiding in the back and they offered it to me - how sweet is that! 5. They have bundt slices and biscuits I've been meaning to try as well. 6. There's also live music (I believe weekly) and a garden patio space, what more can you ask for?

Yelp
Great spot! I came here needing a quick spot to set up my laptop for an hour or some work while I was visiting SF. Bazaar was in the right location at the right time! It had plenty of indoor seating on a chilly SF morning and there were even a few outlets. The wifi worked well throughout my visit which was exactly what I needed. I had a large honey lavender latte and it tasted great! I love that they also have other options beyond coffee.... obviously talking about the beer. Short review for a short visit!

Yelp
Bazaar cafe is where you can get transported to a small town. Everyone knows everyone where - the baristas, the manager, the customers. It's a wonderful community of creatives, artists, musicians. You can see that from the eclectic local artwork on sale and on their walls, the acoustic guitar that anyone can pick up and play. It's a great spot to work and meet people, not only the inside but also the gorgeous patio.

Yelp
This oasis boasts a delightful green garden at the back of the establishment & the cafe itself has a cute-n-cosy interior. Likes: Baked goods are delightful, in the main, & made in-house. Mehs: Coffee drinks are typically haphazardly thrown together. You will receive: Overly frothy, overly hot, overly milky or sometimes fairly good bevvies. It's a crap shoot, unfortunately. WTFs: Someone accidentally dumped a coffee drink at the outside table and all over the ground, then notified the staff. The response was: The rain will wash it away. Huh? Take a bit of tap water and pour it over the spill to help dilute it, then wipe up the coffee mess from the table top as well. No one wants to sit at a table with the wreckage of spilt coffee all around it.
google avatar

Lauren L.

Yelp
I came here to study and was debating what to get. The staff were so friendly and recommended us their special drinks: caramel rose latte and honey lavender latte. My friend got the caramel rose and it was so pretty and unique! It was pretty good but a little sweet for me. It seems like there is a good community here which i love. A regular recommended the dalgona coffee, which i got. It was so creamy and good, but I personally don't like sweets as much anymore. I enjoyed my drink, but would probably stick to a plain coffee drink in the future. The staff also told us about the backyard, which is actually why we wanted to come here! It was comfortable and cute to hang out in, especially during covid! There is a good amount of seating inside and outside and will definitely come back to do some work (there is free wifi!!) or to chill.
google avatar

Rachel D.

Yelp
I cant say enough about the turnovers man. I'm on a fast right now and when I take a walk and pass by I get chills. A latte and a strawberry turnover from Bazaar cafe is all I need. Very homemade flavors and fruits in their pasties and broad amount of savory options for the appetite as well. I really like their breakfast sandwiches. I haven't participated but their open mic nights on Thursday's seem super fun when I pass by!!
google avatar

Jess M.

Yelp
This is the cutest little cafe ever with a really pretty back patio! The biscuits are delicious, and they have really great biscuit sandwiches and paninis. Also a really good coffee and drink selection - the perfect place to do work or just grab breakfast. The staff are always super nice and welcoming, overall a great little cafe to go to!

Iveth O.

Yelp
Omg this place is a gem in the neighborhood. Everything there is delicious. I love the coffee place super quiet calm and relax

Maximus L.

Yelp
Nice vibes and people. Biscuit sandwich was excellent. Just what I was in the mood for. Stop by
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
There are no prices for the bakery items. The vegan chocolate bundt was $5.75. Biscuit was $4.00.

Yelp
Holy wow! I thought this place was a coffee shop, but I wandered in tonight and had a really nice glass of red wine and literally the BEST MEAL I've had in a year or more -- the yummy curry dish, which they describe as "Japanese style with a South African twist." I was a little skeptical at that combo - my taste in curries leans towards Thai -- but it was so mind-bogglingly good that for a few minutes I couldn't even pay attention to the music, which was also AWESOME. Which brings me to the second amazing thing about this place - live ORIGINAL music -- all acoustic and unplugged, with folks actually listening instead of shouting to hear each other over a deafening PA system. This is only the second time I've been here, but both times left me with a super peaceful and yummy feeling of having spent a magical evening in a special and intimate space, with great talent and a cozy community. Nourishing to body and soul. What a treasure this place is. I will be going back often.
google avatar

Lisa N.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! The baristas are amiable and everything on their menu looks so good! I ordered caramel rose latte and it was incredible!! It was creamy and the right amount of sweetness with generous amount of rose petals on top! If you enjoy your coffee strong, I'd order double shot but I was pleasantly surprised with this cup of coffee. They also have a nice outdoor patio area which I adore. I will definitely come back to try their pastries and food soon
google avatar

Allie R.

Yelp
Bazaar is such a gem. We love their biscuits and of course their delicious coffee. Everyone in here is always so nice. Feel lucky to have this place so close by!! Some of our favorites: Pizza biscuit Walnut maple cookie Enjoy!!
google avatar

Shane S.

Yelp
I recently went to Bazaar Cafe with my friend. Friendly staff here. The owner is from South Africa. That inspired me to order a South African beverage aka Rooibos. I ordered an iced Rooibos herbal tea. The beverage was served in an eco-friendly manner. It was served in a compostable container with a paper straw that makes it very San Franciscan. We are in historic times of the pandemic still yet am glad to see that the Bazaar Cafe is doing well and apparently business is thriving during these times. Worth a stop for a beverage if in the Outer Richmond.
google avatar

Christine F.

Yelp
I love this place! The staff is friendly, the drinks are great, and the outdoor space is lovely! I ordered the caramel rose latte. It wasn't on the menu anywhere but I remembered reading about it on yelp. It did not disappoint!

Yelp
I'm a huge sucker for cute and cozy cafes, and this place is one of the cutest and the coziest! It has a charming back patio that is just perfect to sit and relax in while you enjoy your drink. One of the best parts about this place is how welcome and at home you feel. The guy working there was so sweet and charismatic, I honestly felt like I was talking with an old friend. He recommended two delicious teas for us to try and described all of the daily biscuits and baked goods they had. Unfortunately I was too full from lunch to try any of their biscuits (which looked and sounded amazing), but the teas were delicious, and that's coming from someone who's usually more of a coffee person. I don't live in the neighborhood, but I won't let that stop me from coming by regularly whenever I can. And next time I'll definitely get a biscuit!
google avatar

Lisa X.

Yelp
Cute little neighborhood place with a backyard patio. Had some americano here and tried out their biscuits. Tasty. Also friendly staff. Will come back to support them. The only thing I don't like is that some folks smoked nearby. So it made it difficult for us to enjoy our food/drinks.
google avatar

Xin S.

Yelp
A true hidden gem, safe for Covid times! Stopped by because of the nearby excellent plant nursery and dim sum, and found this little gem of a coffee shop! The service was amazing, the inside loaded with local art display, the backyard whimsical, and the Roiboos latte heart-warming on a cold day. The Reese's cookie was excellent too--chewy and filled with flavor. Will definitely be back for one of their music Thursdays(6.30pm-9.30pm)!
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Easily my favorite neighborhood cafe--friendly folks, good cappuccinos, beautiful back patio.

J J.

Yelp
I had my first visit the other day. What a hidden gem. I loved it. I interacted with three employees and they were all fabulous. The biscuit is heaven. The garden was so relaxing and enjoyable. I can't wait to go back and try more food and coffee. Thanks BAS for turning me on to this cafe!
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Me and my friend stopped at this warm and earthy cafe on a quiet corner of a residential neighborhood in SF overlooking the bay. I had a delicious matcha chocolate cake and caramel lavender latte with rose petals for fragrance. They have free wifi of course! Everything is made with love.

Yelp
Bazaar Cafe is a cute little cafe in the Richmond district, a few blocks from the Presidio. We stopped by today after a hike in the Presidio to try out Bazaar Cafe since I had a buy one get one free beer coupon for them in my Broke A*s Stuart SF Beer Passport. We ordered the quiche of the week (greek artichoke quiche) and their Tommy pesto sandwich, and got 2 fort point beers- the manzanita and KSA. While it was a somewhat limited menu, I was impressed by the variety of vegetarian options and there appeared to be lots of great baked goods in the display box. The price was definitely reasonable as well for SF. We grabbed our beers and enjoyed them in the back garden area. Definitely a hidden oasis in the city. Our food came out and was served with an arugula salad. Both dishes were tasty, but nothing necessary stand out. The most standout feature was the back garden for sure and just the overall chill vibes of the place. We had a nice experience and may come back to try some of the baked goods and coffee for our next visit.

Yelp
31 years... I grew up in this area and never went in. Finally had the courage since I was with a friend and inside is so... richmond district! You know what I mean, the vibes that tell you you're not in a starbucks or hipster wanna be place but a real local place that has posters of local stuff and newspapers. Loved how clean the bathroom was and the secret garden in the back! What a hidden gem. Will come back when I find the courage once more. The coffee was also good!

Greg F.

Yelp
Awesome reasonably priced food and Indie music. Can relax and enjoy. Not a lot of these places left in the City. Good service and Nice vibes.

Will Z.

Yelp
This has become our favorite breakfast spot in SF. If you love breakfast biscuits with a cute neighborhood ambiance you must come here. Great coffee options and the variety of sweet and savory pastries. Every single one has been delicious. Staff and owner are very friendly and attentive. I hope this place continues to thrive.
google avatar

Ciarra L.

Yelp
I lived on the other side of this place for several months. They have a great little backyard garden and patio, Thursday night open mic and Saturday live music. I stick with the basic drinks- regular black coffee, cappuccino or Americanos. They do all these properly. However, service can be a bit slow at times. But the staff are all very friendly and they allow furry friends in the back patio. You'll always find a friendly puppy back there!
google avatar

Katelyn L.

Yelp
I came to Bazaar cafe after my afternoon run and got a the whipped dalgona coffee. This was my first time trying it and this cafe! The cashier was really friendly and kind and told me how to optimally drink the coffee for best taste. He even asked if I needed a straw and lid! (Bonus point: eco friendly!) The dalgona coffee was creamy and not overly sweet. Overall, I would highly recommend this cafe and would definitely come again for their friendly service and good coffee!

Yelp
Jamie W. took me for a drive for a change, and we ended up at Land's End where we strolled above the baths and around the bend to the vista point for the Golden Gate. You know the drill. Anyway, I bookmarked a tea spot that sounded interesting, Tal-Y-Tara Tea & Polo Shoppe, which apparently is half tea parlor, half equestrian equipment shop. Seriously. We walked up to it to find it closed for renovations. Damn. Well, Jamie needed to run some errands, so I decided to take a stroll down California Street in the Avenues by myself, something I had not done since I was knee-high to a man, yeah. Gave me a piece of mind my daddy never had. Sorry for the detour into "Philadelphia Freedom" but hey, Elton wrote a great song (video: http://bit.ly/2mLM8fA). Besides, I couldn't help tapping my foot because I stumbled upon a cafe that obviously has music on its mind since they offer intimate shows almost every night of the week at 7PM. There are guitars and French horns in the window, so you know they mean business (photo: http://bit.ly/2nqNxXb). When I got there, it was just a laptopper haven with eyes focused strictly on their screens and nothing else. In fact, the only one to make eye contact was the industrious Asian woman who was pleasant as can be. I was just looking to warm myself and ordered a $2 cup of hot tea, the Orange Ginger from the Republic of Tea, one of my favorites since the orange bergamot mint soothed while the ginger provided a mild spiciness as contrast (photo: http://bit.ly/2mLTuQ6). They have some tempting curry dishes on their menu as well as soup, paninis, and baked goods including pies (photo: http://bit.ly/2mHHRIc) if you are interested in sticking around for a nosh or an actual meal. Had I known there was a garden with seating, I would have definitely hung out back there since I wasn't in need of an outlet like the laptoppers. Between that bucolic treat and a night of music, a return visit with Jamie is in the cards. TEA - 4 stars...a big cuppa of herbal warmth is indeed what I needed AMBIANCE - 4 stars...comfortable spot with lots to look at since it was a consignment store SERVICE - 4 stars...thought she was terrifically accommodating TOTAL - 4 stars...music, garden and curry sounds like a compelling combo to me

Yelp
What a neighborhood gem! I've been loving my weekly visits to Bazaar Cafe. Their latte offerings are creative and delicious. I've been working my way through the menu and have found some of the biscuit offerings really interesting (homemade curry over a malt buttermilk biscuit?! yes.). The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere relaxed and cozy. The wifi is very reliable and I've always found a table inside or in their lovely garden.
google avatar

Robert F.

Yelp
The best cafe to hear original music in San Francisco. Wonderful reasonably price cafe food.
google avatar

Kimi L.

Yelp
This is probably the coziest cafe I've been to in this area without being too kitschy. I ordered an oat milk latte and a quiche which came with a side salad. I think the type of quiche changes since the barista, who was really nice and pleasant, wanted to double check that I was okay with it being the Mexicali style that day ~ and I was! There was jalepeno which gave it a nice amount of heat without breaking a sweat ~ and the baked cheese along the crust was so satisfying. The latte was pretty good too. It's also a great place to work ~ ample seating and strong wifi. Not sure if there's power outlets, but I saw others with laptops. I'm so happy to have found this place and look forward to going back!

Yelp
Popped into Bazaar Cafe late afternoon with a friend while we were making our way along the Crosstown Trail for some long overdue lunch. This cafe is very cozy and casual-- it is the definition of a "neighborhood cafe" with flyers for various events and a small selection of baked goods, sandwiches, and coffees. I opted for the Scarborough Fair, which had roasted veggies melted with cheddar and garlic aioli pressed as a panini. It was tasty but nothing special. A little on the smaller side, especially for the price (but I guess that's SF for you), but still satisfying. The side salad was a very small pile of arugula-- a cute two bites of leafy greens. The cafe was quiet with a couple of patrons reading the newspaper or studying. The employees were super chill. Overall, a nice, calm place to grab a bite to eat, but I'd go for the ambiance rather than the food.

Yelp
Incredibly nice staff, tasty food, and lovely presentation. We've only had a chance to try the breakfast biscuit so far but will definitely be back to sample the biscuit of the day. Oh, and they are the first restaurant I've seen use compostable containers for side items. Two thumbs up!
