"BBQ Chicken is a loosely-governed (and as such, the largest) franchise of Korean fried chicken shops on earth. The quality of its chicken’s preparation from location-to-location varies wildly, but the honey garlic wings are a generally safe bet. The unique, sweet flavor of honey adds a dimension of flavor to the garlic that’s not as easily found elsewhere." - Euno Lee

I recently dined at this restaurant after being intrigued by its portrayal in a Korean drama, and I was amazed by the welcoming ambiance and surroundings. The chicken dishes, especially the chicken golden original half and wings soy garlic, were incredibly appetizing and offered a distinctive taste. The service was exceptional, with Marsia leading the way and providing superb suggestions. The food arrived promptly, and the staff were friendly and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for an unforgettable dining experience that will leave you craving for more.

Food is pretty good, no say in that. It is also slightly expensive. I suggest the owner edit their operating hours, we were on a schedule and went here thinking they open at noon (that's what google says). but they open at 12.30. If you plan to go here be prepared to wait for your food, they take some time (I'm not complaining, the food tastes great).

I’ll update later with better pictures because I forget to take the photo before eating their food. I’ve only done orders via Uber eats and so far it’s never missed. I highly recommend their Boneless Cheesling Chicken, Bone in Galbi chicken, & their waffle fries. The chicken is cooked to perfection & their ranch sauce really compliments their flavors. ***Update*** Cheeseling chicken still awesome and I recommend the Honey garlic wings too! Even as left overs it’s still delicious.

BB. Q chicken is a decent place to come in for a quick bite to eat. Price for the amount of food is good and the food tastet good. The food is a little heavy with mayobased sauces and cheese. I got a bowl of chicken, mayo cheese which was enough to still take to go and finish later. If you come during happy hour make sure to clearly state and ask the staff what it is you ordered. I got my meal from the happy hour menu when ordering and was charged regular price for my meal which added a couple more buck for the same item. When I told staff they mentioned ohh you didn't stated what you ordered was from the happy hour menu, I payed the difference.

Terrible service here, we only ordered a small chicken and rice, it took 45 minutes to come out. We saw our food passed from the kitchen to the counter for it to be served and it was left ignored and turning cold in front of our eyes while the cashier guy restocked and cleaned instead of serving. By the time we got our food it was no longer hot even though we saw it finished, no one was there to take it from the kitchen and serve it. Had to stand up and ask for the chopsticks, water, to order, etc and were not approached by anyone except the give the menu. customers had to stand up to pay for the bill upfront by approaching the cashier (which isn’t a problem if that’s how the restaurant operates, but they had brought the bill to other tables and then ignored others for an extended period of time). I’ve also been to other bbq chicken branches where the service is great. The lady who is supposed to be the server was on her phone for most of the time we were there, and took a 25 minute phone call while customers were trying to wave her down and get her attention. Wouldn’t eat at this bbq chicken branch for that reason. Would give a 1 star but the food tasted fine so that’s for the kitchen.

Google
If you like fried chicken you need to go here. Their chicken is so damn crispy and flavorful we even ate it refrigerated and still cold the next day and it was still crispy and flavorful! This place does it right. Unfortunately not all BB.Q chicken places are the same. Others were a miss compared to this location. I gotta say I absolutely hate LA, but this is one of the few placesi need to visit when in town. Cut out the guesswork, get the original crispy. Then you can try some other flavors. No need to waste your time on sides just stick to the chicken.

Google
The food was so flavorful and juicy! Definitely recommend the honey garlic boneless wings and the cheesling boneless wing! The staff were super kind. You get a decent amount of food for the price. Honestly some of the best food I’ve had in the area.

Google
First of all this place is not the original chicken as the picture Chicken was stale not juicy at all .. Customer service rude and not attentive too busy talking or sitting on their phones. Ordered a beer that was Warm not cold and so was the radish. also waited 30 mins to get our water and food. told the waiter our complaint and didn’t do anything about it.

Yelp
BBQ Chicken in Little Tokyo serves delicious, crispy Korean fried chicken. The menu offers a variety of tasty options. The service is friendly and efficient. A great spot for a meal in Little Tokyo!

Yelp
Saturday 6/8 2:30 the employee at the cashier was extremely rude when I asked about customers (my kid) using the restroom he automatically assumed I didn't purchase anything and since I didn't have my receipt from earlier I had to purchase a water because he rudely said no after a series of questions like have I tried other locations for restrooms and I told him everywhere we went did t have one. He looks at my kid thinks for a couple seconds and says no cus I'm not a customer. Worst customer service and person to have at cashier taking orders. How was the food? Average at best. Just go down the block for some better chicken places nearby for better food and competent service. You won't regret it. I'd recommend some but this review will be taken down if i mentioned other places. I give this place a NEGATIVE 5 star review. An adult can manage to wait to use the restroom but a 3 year old... it was the interrogation, attitude, the look he gave my kid that made this an issue for me.

Yelp
Be careful of this location they put tips in for you. It was a hot day & me and my sister were on the way to look at the shops in lil Tokyo. Decided to buy drinks & get there to-go menu. Came in to grab 2 drinks. A juice box size of strawberry milk and a bottle of green tea from the refrigerator. Came out to $7 & something cents. Paid the super over-priced drinks w/ card & left. Later that night I get a notification that $9.66 has been charged. It's a dollar and something cents more than what I remember paying. It's not a huge amount that was charged extra. BUT. I am NOT okay with someone else or a business freely just tipping/charging MY card to their liking. If i buy something and sign my card for a specific amount. I EXPECT that amount to be charged. Me and my family were actually going to order food from here literally tonight but definitely not happening.

Patricia A.

Yelp
The food is good! Visited other locations. My review is based on the experience we had today directly with management/ownership. The only man working the front desk did amazing. For the entire hour and 30 minutes I waited for my food he did not stop moving and working at a truly fast pace. The cooks non stop. I felt bad asking him to make everything to go as I didn't have time to sit and enjoy my meal after the wait. If you have a dine in section, pick up and pick up for delivery services you need more staff. This man nearly split in 3 trying to get everything done. Shame on yo

Yelp
I got the small boneless soy garlic chicken (8pc). It was a bit soggy and I expected more crunch for the chicken. But it was cooked nice and it came out after like 25 minutes which they notified us ahead of time. There's a lot of seating inside which was nice. I would come back again to try more of the flavors. It was definitely big pieces of chicken so I wished I shared with my friends.

Hai L.

Yelp
I'd give 5 stars if the server gave better service. Made eye contact and simply said what would you like with a hard stare. The food here was better than I expected compared to the ratings here. I enjoy Korean fried chicken and this place had a good variety of flavors to choose from. The wings were crispy and the meat was juicy. Their Ddeok-Bokki were creamy and had a nice chew. The kimchi fried rice was tangy and spicy, but had great flavor.

ray h.

Yelp
chicken taste great! but their glaze chicken needs improvement. As you can see the photo i posted, not enough glazed sauce. I don't know if this is intentional but if this is then they need to consider other ways to advertise their chicken. Non-korean people please try other korean chicken place. If you can compare this isn't normal glazing for a korean chicken. If the owner is being cheap? Sorry but the boss needs to get another job. Please do not think your customer doesn't know what they are having. However, if the staff are being lazy and not caring? You need to educate them or fire them. Customer are paying every penny that you have calculated for the cost that of the chicken. They have every right to be serve with the best of best quality chicken. SORRY I forgot your BBQ stands for Best of Best.

Anny O.

Yelp
Soy sauce chicken 5/5 - this is my favorite flavor here. I love the sweetness but also savory. They made it fresh so it's very crispy. Kimchi fried rice 4/5 - not my favorite kimchi fried rice. It was decent tho. I've tried it at another location and it was very good so I guess it just depends on the location.

Dan L.

Yelp
It's been a couple years since my last visit. I came back here a few days ago, and made the following observations: GOOD 1) The fried chicken here is still outstanding. 2) They still offer that sweet 5% cash discount. BAD 1) They no longer offer Army Stew. Lame. 2) They no longer seem to offer Grilled Sausages with Potato Wedges. Extra lame. 3) I recall that during my last visit, water was complimentary and served in a cup on request. Apparently that practice has been ceased, and now customers must purchase bottled water if they desire agua. Exceptionally lame. 4) Sikhye no longer seems to be listed on the dine-in menu anymore. If it was available during our visit, no mention of that was made. *SUPER* lame. Still a place worth visiting, but I find the changes I observed to be uniformly reprehensible.

Newsome J.

Yelp
We go every 2 weeks, and every single time we go, we get the same order, but there's one issue we get the hot spicy whole chicken but they don't add any sauce we specifically ask for extra sauce before ordering and even if we pay extra they give us the same amount they even failed to comprehend basic orders we ordered 4 items but they didn't add one item and made us pay for the other item seperately and didn't add the cash discount we complain every time and they always ask for 2 more dollars for extra sauce on the side and the one time we did they gave us the secret sauce instead of the hot and spicy like we asked for. Bbq downtown

Yelp
Overall: 4/5 (delivery) Pickled Radish ($2): Typically Korean Fried Chicken places come with pickled radish for free but here they charge for it. Small Gangnam Style Wings (8 pieces for $19): This was the best flavor to me. It's a black pepper sauce but it wasn't spicy. The toppings were definitely a nice bonus. Small Honey Garlic Wings (8 pieces for $19): This was a close second. It was also really good but I think it was a bit too sweet for me. Small Boneless Cheeseling (8 pieces for $19): This was the worse of the 3 flavors. The boneless part is good since they were huge chunks of chicken but there was barely any cheese powder which didn't really give it much flavor anyways. I needed sauce to eat this since it was too dry as well. Probably wouldn't order from this place again; there are better fried chicken places for sure.

Nancy D.

Yelp
All orders take about 30 minutes so order before if you're in a rush! Overall a great Korean fried chicken place. Strong garlic forward sauces and juicy chicken for even the breast places with crispy breading Rose tteokbokki was much smaller that expected but flavors were good and tteokbokki was soft. Favorite chicken was the plain followed by honey garlic wings, special sauce, and cheesling last. Cheesling if had a strange sweetness we couldn't get over. Sauces are on the sweeter side! Make sure to get pickled radish on the side to balance it out.

Ashley P.

Yelp
Had the Ddeok-Bokki with no cheese. Was super hot and I loved the spicy and sweet flavor. Waiter was friendly and brought us water. Nice and clean dine in area.

Jihyun K.

Yelp
I used to like this place, but now chicken is really salty. I order few month ago and a month ago. Very salty. I hope it changes.

Alice G.

Yelp
First time eating here! Loving the outdoor/greenhouse style seating! We ordered the whole chicken cooked 2 ways - original and hot spicy The chicken smelled so good when it came out & it was still sizzling Both were very crunchy & tasty! Will be back.

Terrence S.

Yelp
Needed a quick bite to eat right before a concert in the area, and luckily this place had no wait at all. The ambiance is lacking but they try their best with some lights on the edges of the room. It's all self serve once you get your food as well. We had the soy garlic and the Gangnam flavor wings, and they were both good. I do like that they have so many different flavors to choose from which is a step up from bonchon in that department. The wings and drums themselves though are on the smaller side compared to bonchon, and just the tiniest bit dry, not that noticeable when eaten with the batter on the skin. It's great that it comes with cubed pickled radish to cleanse your palate. Also had the flavored fries which were not that memorable or crispy. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience for a decent price. I would come again!

Yelp
Galbi chicken and kimchi fried rice: the best combo ever! I've been a fan of BBQ Chicken for years, and their galbi chicken and kimchi fried rice is my absolute favorite dish. The chicken is perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior. The kimchi fried rice is also delicious, with a perfect balance of spicy and savory flavors and a little bit of sour kick. The two dishes go together so well, and they always leave me feeling satisfied. I know that BBQ Chicken isn't the cheapest place to get fried chicken, but I think it's worth it.

Hyeonmi S.

Yelp
half & half chicken (original + secret spicy) w/ radish ($2) chicken was juicy and flavorful, it's the perfect balance of fried chicken with saucy chicken and the pickled radish is a must for me ! portion wise i'd say one order is perfect for 2-3 people in one sitting.

John T.

Yelp
Again a killer meal from this place. Second to none in terms of great chicken wings and unparalleled taste. This place has the best fried chicken in town, bar none! Had the Spicy Original Wings and Boneless Wings Galibi. The Original is always a solid safe choice but had the Galibi for the first time tonight and WOW! So, so good!!

James G.

Yelp
ShrinkFLATION!!! Use to be nice sized wings. $50 for 16 wings that were the size of the KFC kid's menu. Even the boxes are smaller. Use to be worth the price with sauce, but i/we have moved onto better value(s) for the buck. I hate to go, but $3 for a tiny wing doesn't meet the standard for one's hard Earned dollar....

Vincentia G.

Yelp
One of my favorite places when it comes to Korean fried chicken! I've tried a good amount of them so far, and my favorite is their best of the best wings- always crispy, and it's so flavorful! I usually can eat a lot more of their "best of the best" wings compared to the other flavor because the spices are well-balanced and not greasy/overwhelming. It's so simple, yet so addictive! I always get to-go orders, but the "best of the best" wings manage to still be crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, even after an hour or so! My other favorite to get here would be their waffle fries! It doesn't get soggy even after a few hours and is not too oily! However, I do feel like the portion of the fries has decreased a bit compared to a few months ago, but it's still delicious regardless! On the other hand, the honey garlic wings were pretty good but could have more flavor overall. I didn't taste enough of the "honey garlic" flavor on the wings. Their "Gang-Nam style" wings are pretty unique. It can taste a bit overwhelming if you eat too much of it, but I would still recommend trying it at least once! The last time I went here, I also tried their new boneless "galbi" fried chicken, and it was just okay for me. It had some sweet taste to it and a bit of spicy kick as well. As for the parking, it used to be free for the past few months. However, the last time I went here last weekend, they started charging a $5 rate to park here. Not sure if this is only for the weekend or not. The ordering process has consistently been smooth! The workers are friendly, and the orders usually take around 20-30 minutes, depending on how busy they are.

Tina S.

Yelp
My family and I love the chicken at this place. We normally order here through Uber Eats. Our usual orders are : Boneless Cheesling Chicken, Bone - In Hot Spicy Chicken, Kimchi Fried Rice and pickled radish. There is also half and half order of chicken mix. So they really have a variety of chicken offerings that you can choose from. Their chicken is very flavorful, super crunchy or crispy whether it is wet or dry. Despite of late deliveries, fortunately the quality of our orders do not suffer or get affected. Pricing is reasonable as well. Their packaging is also sturdy thus it does not get easily squished which is an important factor to consider for food deliveries. Definitely love their chicken!

Amy M.

Yelp
Order was placed online 11:30 for 12:30 delivery. Workers did not showed up to store until 1pm while door dash driver was sitting outside for 20 mins. Then order got pushed 1 hour and then got cancel

John J.

Yelp
Don't go here if you're in a rush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus lord. I go here once every few months and even though the chicken is good, it takes an ungodly amount of time to make it. It Doesn't make no sense. The obscene wait always makes me so mad I don't go for awhile and then after a few months I'll forget about my anger and think "oh I'm sure they've gotten their act together by now" so I go again and then I'm rudely reminded that no, I'm fact they have not gotten their act together, and it's actually gotten worse. I literally waited an hour tonight for a 8 pc chicken on a Wednesday night at 7pm. Makes no damn sense. Owner if you're reading this: Hire a few more people to work at one time!!!! Stop cutting corners with the overhead. You're stressing your employees and customers out so you can make a bigger profit. I see you doing business so you aren't hurting. The wait is way longer than any other restaurant I've been to. consistently ridiculous. I never write reviews but after tonight I'm like damn, wtf is goin on with their wait times. My damn feet hurt. Ps chicken is fire though.

Tiffany P.

Yelp
I think their chicken is really good. It's juicy, crispy, everything that makes fried chicken good. I love the flavors they have. The only thing I would say is the prices are a bit high. $17 for 8 wings or half a fried chicken. I shared with my boyfriend and we got rice to go with it. I feel like to make it filling and worth the go, a whole chicken to share might be ideal.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Came with my friend who has come in the past, food is good, customer service needs to improve. I only was given one napkin, that is thinner than disneylands toilet paper. The canned Dr Pepper was really good.

Rosemarie L.

Yelp
chicken was good & crispy but be careful ordering online! originally ordered thru chowbus & when i went to pick up my order, the worker said they no longer use that service. very frustrating considering i spent close to $50 for food & basically had to wait an hour total.

Lexi H.

Yelp
They only have outside seating, but they have lots of tables. Chicken flavors were a hit or miss. Service was not great... they forgot about us and didn't give us utensils or water until after another table that came later got theirs. We ended up getting our plates and waters right before our food came out. After seating us our server went missing and our stand-in server wasn't observant nor did he seem like he cared. It seemed like there was a change of shifts but either way, it was a super hot day and this experience didn't impress us even though this place has been on our list to try for a while.

Nate L.

Yelp
Can't stop thinking about how good this place is. I'm obsessed. Yes, it takes a minute to prepare. That's the price you pay for fresh & delicious, folks! Haven't had a bad item on the menu. Best chicken around.

Sara D.

Yelp
~ Cue in "Here I Am Again" CLOY song ~ This is how I feel about the chicken wings here because it is freaking legit! I even thought about how they were eating the fried chicken in the episodes LOL I highly recommend Gangnam Style and Honey Garlic - my friends ordered the other flavors and I don't remember it. I bet you wont be disappointed with their other flavors though! I'll be back!

Gio C.

Yelp
Food took forever to come out. People that got there after us were getting served before us. One of the things we ordered was the fire chicken. Not worth the 30-something bucks. First of all, it did not look like the image, and secondly, the cheese was so thick and not melted. Boneless chicken came out cold... The fries were good though.

Andrea R.

Yelp
Worst location once again and again same management same girl I'm guessing. No gift cards allowed from the franchise at this location?? When other locations can make it happen? Yeah no y'all suck. This location is a last resort and it sucks because the cooks can do their job right but everyone else can't it seems. Order chicken leave with a headache at their incompetence.

Fang-Li Y.

Yelp
Absolutely the WORST attitude I've ever experienced. On 12/30/2022 I walked by the restaurant 12pm-ish but didn't buy the food. Unexpectedly, a male server started to curse me, saying that I'm blocking his way. He shouted and urged me go the other way, which I did after I got some other food at the same plaza. However, on the way back to my car, he approached me AGAIN ON THE SIDEWALK with cigarette and started to harass me again ("get the f**k out of here"). I would never go to this restaurant if this is the way they treat a potential customer. I should have called a police instead while he showed a tendency of further physical violence.

Amy P.

Yelp
I don't want kdramas but I have enough family & friends who do that know about BBQ Chicken =P Didn't start digging in until almost an hour after picking up the food and the chicken held up very well; still cripsy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The best of the best (BB) chicken wings were good but I definitely prefer the sauced up chicken wings! The wings come with a side of cubed pickled radish. Also picked up a side of waffle fries (decent amount) and kimchi pasta. Yum, would definitely order from here again!

Michelle K.

Yelp
My fav to get here is the soy garlic chicken wings. If I want something lil less sauce I will do the orig hot breaded chicken wings. This is probably the best place to get Korean crispy chicken than the other Korean chicken spots that I have tried. Service is good. Very friendly. I do think it'll be better service if the employees will let you know when the food is ready for pick up when ur dining in. The ambiance is basic. Just like fast food joint type. Wait time for the chicken is usually about 30 mins which we didn't mind bc it was really crispy.

John Patrick A.

Yelp
food is decent. service it is sooo slow. go hire more people. especially during the weekends. PS: Ive been using yelp for 8 years now. And this is my first comment.

Will W.

Yelp
I ordered a medium BOB (best of the best) chicken wings 8 pieces for $16 and then had an order of kimchi fried rice with cheese $17. Overall i'd say that the chicken was pleasantly crunchy, it was juicy but the pieces are quite small and that it is under seasoned. It definitely needs a dipping sauce or salt or something to kick it up. The kimchi fried rice was kinda disappointing actually, it just lacked any oomph or flavor, the kimchi wasn't very pungent, i coudln't even taste the bacon and then it was drowned in a some boring cheese, It just didn't have any life to it. I even reheated everything to make sure it was nice and piping hot since i got it as a take out item. The food was decent, but it's not gonna blow your mind or anything. They definitley need a heavier hand with the seasoning so the food isn't as bland. The service was quick and the staff was cordial. So overall its decent but nothing to write hone about.

Ed C.

Yelp
This place is........pretty good. No, really good. In fact, for whatever reason I had kind of tempered expectations, but I was kind of blown away. I ordered Galbi flavored wings, the half and half fried chicken mix (half original, half soy garlic), and an order of spicy rice cake. All of their chicken is super crispy, super crunchy--regardless of whether you order it dry or wet. That means, the good travels well. The chicken under the crunchy outside is juicy and soft and perfection. A few bites in, I started to wonder how they do it... Well, they apparently anticipated this question because they print verbiage on their packaging about how they have an R&D sector at their Chicken University with 30 researchers that work on optimizing "flavors and execution." Lol. Seriously, check out the pics I've attached. The people behind the counter were not particularly attentive nor super friendly, but they were serviceable. The restaurant was entirely empty, and there were two workers behind the counter doing things. I didn't get a greeting of any sort and after standing around for maybe 10-15 seconds and beginning to wonder if I'd get helped, one of them decided to look up and acknowledge me. From there, things were good. I mentioned my name, and then handed me my food which was ready and sitting on the back counter, and all was fine. We did exchange a friendly "have a nice day!" and off I went. Anyway, this place is delicious. I'll be back!

Amy L.

Yelp
THE BEST KOREAN CHICKEN WINGS OF YOUR LIFE. BONE IN/ HONEY GARLIC / *chefs kiss* I've always ordered to-go bc what better way to eat Korean wings than at home watching Korean drama? Oh, don't forge the Kim chi fried rice. Yum

Chewson H.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the Korean Fried Chicken here at BBQ Chicken. I ordered a huge variety from original with no sauce to a garlic platter. The original wings are amazingly crispy. Can't go wrong with the leg and thigh fried chicken either. For the sauced wings, I would skip. The flavors are a little too much and also the original is the best out of all of them. If you're a hungry person, just get the leg and thigh. Wings won't fill you up regardless of where you got them. Also ordered a ddukbokki and I would say skip it. It doesn't taste that great. Before you come here, I highly recommend calling in your order and not coming here and placing your order. It takes about 20-30 minutes for your order to be made. So if you're 20-30 minutes away from this place, call in and then drive here. The chicken is not made until you order it. If you're used to KFC or Popeyes where the chicken is pre-made and they just grab it for you and box it, this is very very different. The parking of this place can get challenging as the lot is shared with a lot of businesses. However it's free and you don't need to pay. There is a gate to enter but it's stuck up and no one is managing it or taking money. You can't pay even if you tried to. Overall, great Korean Fried Chicken!

Elissa L.

Yelp
They were out of pretty much all the sides and fries that we tried to order, so we ended up just ordering wings. The wait was pretty long even though we were the only ones in the store (busy with online orders maybe?). Staff was nice though, and the chicken was solid as always!

Sonia A.

Yelp
Food is good...kind of pricey!!! Asked for a box to go since we had a good amount of wings left and they would not give me a large box and expected me to use 5 small boxes. When we arrived service was SLOW.....no one ever came to take our order so I walked to the front to place my order after 15 min of waiting. One of the flavors I ordered was wrong but ended up keeping it because I did not want to wait another 35-40 min for the correct flavor. I don't think I'll be coming back to this place.

Alejandro R.

Yelp
the service here sucks.....we have been waiting for more than an hour for our food. At least she gave us 1 of the orders out of 3.

LaToya G.

Yelp
If I can give it 10 stars I would! The fried chicken was so good and crunchy! I wish they would open one in Birmingham, AL. It was one guy who sat us down and took our order, he was pretty cool. Also, I had the Gangnam style and my husband had the honey garlic. We tried to go that Sunday before we left LA but they didn't open till 12 lol.

Kara L.

Yelp
Kdramas got me. I've been wanting to try this place after seeing it featured in a bunch of dramas. Currently open for take-out. I ordered in person and took about 25 mins for the food to be ready. I would suggest to call in and order ahead to avoid the wait. Located in the Honda Plaza and there is a small lot for parking. A general outdoor seating area is available inside the Honda plaza. (Basically closed off part of the parking lot for table seatings.) Food: chicken definitely met my expectations. The crispy chicken is as crunchy as you see it on TV when you can hear the crunch as you bite into it. I personally prefer the chicken with sauce since it's a little sweet and the chicken isn't as dry as the regular crispy chicken. But I would get both to try out the difference and check the crispness if you are into that.

Yelp
There are many locations I've tried in various cities, by far the best one with right amount of batter on the outside to seal in the juices inside! The "Secret Sauce" was just the right amount as well with little chunks of garlics! Will definitely come back when we are around Little Tokyo! Thank you for making yummy Korean fried chickens!

Yelp
I have never in my life experienced a more rude staff or lack of human kindness. First, we had arrived and while trying to place an order, the employee was so fixated on her phone and talking badly about a customer before us to the other employee that she didn't even help me. Then when she did she started counting money in the drawer, I had to repeat my order again because she wasn't even listening. We finally ordered at about 9:35 or so, at 9:40 a woman came in and wanted to order, she said that she had called over 20 times but it went unanswered so she drove from Glendale to make it before they close which is at 10:000pm. The employee with the short hair refused and said they are closed, but it was only about 9:40, the lady looked distraught (she might have had a function and needed the food because she was dressed very nice) and tried to reason with the employee with the shoulder length black hair but not once did this employee have understanding and just said no is no. Because I had received bad service myself and because we witnessed this poor lady asking nicely and begging while trying to Plead with them, I spoke up and said, your open sign is still on and blinking, they are still cooking in the back. If you aren't taking orders then turn off the light but your Yelp, website and everything also says close at 10:00pm. So you are still opened and she drove all the way from Glendale. She said we have a lot of orders, we close at 10:00, if we make yours we will go over 10:00pm. . I was appalled by her answer and in shock at how bad her attitude was. She then goes and turns off the light (because I had pointed out that their open sign was still on so it's not fair) and still did not aknowledge the lady pleading. The poor lady looks distraught and begged again, the girl then turned around and got on her device. . She didn't even acknowledge her. So I asked the other employee with long hair in a pony tail, she was cleaning the restaurant side, what is the name of the manager, her reply "I don't know". Wow I couldn't believe it. This place is horrible, your chicken may be good but the human aspect of kindness doesn't exist. The lady stood around still pleading her case to the other one who said she didn't know the managers name, again explaining that she drove far and the kitchen was still cooking couldn't they just please make hers (still not 10pm yet) but they just refused and rushed to get out I guess, the lady finally leaves. After 46 minutes waiting for our own food, I got the food and said to the girl with the short hair that what she did to that lady was just sad. They were still cooking in the back so her begging because they were still opened at the time, they could have easily made the food. If your sign says open and your site says closed at 10:00pm then honor it. She said "when I say we are closed, we are closed". I was in shock at her answer and appalled and told her that she lacked professionalism and human kindness and she said "you know if you want the managers number find it yourself". Just wow! I wish I never stepped foot into this place. Whoever the owners are, I hope you see this and see how bad your staff is (these two in particular, the kitchen staff was nice)You survive by customers but if people are treated in this manner you will lose them. You can call me a Karen, but if speaking up for human kindness is wrong then go ahead. It was the restaurants fault so the staff should take that into consideration instead of treating people without any sort of kindness especially when she drove far and your establishment was still opened! If you close at 9:30 then put on your site you close at 9:30 and turn off your signs! Don't let people drive to you and tell them that if they cooked your food that they couldn't close by 10:00pm! This person is the rudest and most heartless person with an attitude I have ever encountered, she's representing your company and the other employee who said she didn't know the managers name....well that's just a stupid answer and also does not represent your company well. Human kindness and professionalism is everything in life. If your company says closed at 10:00 and lights are blinking then help the customer who drove 30+ minutes, especially when she was begging your staff. They could have easily taken her order then close because no one else was asking to order. The desperation and pleading from her should have been considered. Human kindness and understanding goes a long way, those 2 employees lack both. I called before your opening today but not surprising that the gentleman said the manager comes and goes. It's too bad because the other stores in Orange County have been nice, but I guess it's a reflection of poor management at this specific location.

Yelp
This place is located in Little Tokyo area and the parking lot gets filled quickly! You can find metered parking on the streets though. My date and I ordered the half & half combo (soy flavored) with kimchi fried rice on the side. We shared and it was more than enough for both of us. We were able to finished everything. The chicken was tasty but I def like the sauced up one better than the original crispy. The kimchi fried rice was alright. Not much flavor so didn't find it to be that yummy. Also, they have outdoor dining where you can seat yourself at any available table! It is pretty nice so I wish they had more restaurant options to choose from. Overall, this place has good chicken!

Yelp
During these COVID pandemic times, getting together with friends for dinner is a big deal. Plus staying at home all the time watching endless K-dramas on Netflix gave me a serious hankering for Korean fried chicken! We ended up at BBQ Chicken Little Tokyo because of its location in the Honda Plaza. It was one of the few restaurants open for in-person orders at 5p. The menu consisted of different varieties of fried chicken from original to spicy. I opted for the spicy boneless fried chicken while my friends had a chicken sandwich and sweet fried chicken. Service is friendly and helpful. They get crazy busy during the dinner rush so expect to wait for your order if you place it in person. Tip: if possible call in your order because fried chicken takes time to make in our case we waited 30 minutes. While I did enjoy my spicy fried chicken it was a perfect spicy level but a bit too sweet for my taste. I was glad I opted for the boneless chicken because it was easy to eat and less messy. My friends said their dishes were pretty good. Portions are ample. We ate our dinner outside on a table set up in the parking lot of Honda Plaza. It was a great, social distanced setup. Would I return? Probably. But next time I'll get the original fried chicken. LOCATION: 4/5 FOOD: 3/5 SERVICE: 3/5 VALUE: 4/5 AMBIANCE: 3/5 PET FRIENDLY: n/a CLEANLINESS: 4/5 PARKING: 4/5

Yelp
Order half and half. Spicy chicken came looking like it's barely added sauce to the order. Every time I order it's always covered in sauce. The person in the phone refuse to exchange my order and asked that I pay again when I just want to exchange. Ridiculous ... ruined my dinner. Thanks for nothing.
