Where to Eat Korean Food in San Diego

"This fried chicken chain returned to the region after an eight-year absence. The chicken is brined for 24 to 48 hours before breading and frying. The sauces range from golden original to spicy galbi. Also try the trendy rose ddukbokki, rice cakes in a pink creamy sauce, and beer or soju." - Helen I. Hwang

"A Sophisticated Chicken Spot That Embodies the Essence of Korean Fried Chicken" Food: I had the boneless half fried, half sauced chicken. It cost about $30 including tax. It was incredibly savory and sweet. The batter wasn’t too thick, which was great. The portion size was generous as well. Service: The staff were friendly and efficient. I received my order earlier than the expected pickup time. Ambiance: The store was very clean and pleasant. Even though it’s a place where they fry chicken, it wasn’t stuffy or hot. It was cool and comfortable inside.

Google
Great place to go for lunch during the work week. Quick to order and food is delicious and filling. Ordered the spicy gilbi wings, bulgolgi bowl and kimchi fried rice bowl all were delicious. Got extra sauce which cost an extra $2 per. Would recommend to anyone, especially those who are down with great Korean music!

Every time I go to work and leaving work, I see this place and planning to go here. I finally got a chance to today. The place is hidden and probably does get busy during lunch hours, but the place is very clean and the aroma is smells delicious! I’ll post a PS after I get my takeout order. Stay tuned!

Google
The location of this korean fried chicken place is in a business area so it is pretty dead on the weekend and there is ample parking. While there was plenty of seating with kpop videos playing in the background, we opted for takeout. They have a variety of different chicken flavors that you can get whole, as wings, or boneless. We tried two different flavors of boneless wings (soy garlic and gang-jeong) and a kimchee fried rice. The boneless chicken pieces were huge, crispy and covered with sauce. We probably should have tried for more variety as both flavors were similar (gang-jeong was a lil spicy). Overall we were impressed with the amount and quality. Would come back again to try other chicken flavors.

Google
Food is generally pretty good but food is drowned in sauce. Main issue is the service and wait. Food takes around 40 minutes and if you ordered multiple plates they arrive 15 minutes apart. The service is not very good and the front of the house has no idea what’s happening in the kitchen and general no clue what is going on. I ordered online to avoid the wait time and the workers let someone else walk out with my food. Do not recommend.

Google
Excellent quality, delicious food. I have been meaning to try this local Korean chain for some time and finally got a chance during a overnight stay in San Diego. I was pleased with the food quantity and prices. There is an extensive menu offering wonderfully unique Korean fried chicken with various sauces and side dishes. If you are looking to try Korean food and want something a little more familiar to the American fried foods you are used to, try this place. Odds are, you'll love it.

Google
I’ve eaten at bb.q several times now. Their soy garlic boneless wings are incredible. Today I picked up 40 of them for a work potluck. It was first time try for most of my coworkers. Everyone loved it. Big portions, super crispy, and the sauce is delicious. I didn’t get the rosé ddeok-bokki this trip, but I always do when eating with my family. Great sauce if you can handle a little spice and a good balance of rice cakes and fish cakes. Bb.q is way better than any other Korean fried chicken chain I’ve tried in San Diego.

Google
Relaxing vibes (when it’s a long weekend!), good portions (even at the small sizes). Excellent flavor, and mindful whether patrons have nut allergies. Recommended for good chicken!

Yelp
I'm always game for some solid KFC. bb.q Chicken is a tried and true Korean fried chicken chain serving up scrumptious wings amongst other complementary dishes. We got the some Soy Garlic Boneless Wings, the Rose Ddeok-Bokki, and the Kimchi Fried Rice. Soy Garlic? The best KFC wing flavor anywhere and everywhere. Just so good! The perfect amount of salty and savory. Their boneless wings are super juicy and moist with a crispy yet saucy outer layer. No extra breading or chicken nugget vibes here. The Rose Ddeok-Bokki was actually my favorite! I'm a hugeeee fan of rose sauces. They're not too spicy and perfectly creamy. A great combo for those who find traditional Ddeok-Bokki a bit too hot. Their Kimchi Fried Rice was solid. A simple dish done well.

Yelp
Wow, these are amazing wings! Super crunchy breading yet perfectly moist chicken on the inside. The soy garlic were a bit sweet and garlic forward, more of a glaze than a sauce, absolutely delicious! Cheeseling was the wild card. Super funky mix of cheese powder that works for some reason. The breading and cheese were a bit thick but no problem. The pickled radish that comes with each order did a nice job cleansing the palate switching between the two different flavors. Can't wait to try more flavors. Don't come here in a hurry as each order is made fresh. It takes 15-20 min to get your wings. That's not a complaint, just an important consideration. We were there on a Sunday and were the only ones there besides the revolving door of delivery drivers. I'm guessing the parking would be an issue on a work day.

Yelp
Waited about 20 minutes for our meal. The chicken had a really good crisp to them and the sauces were delicious! I love the crispness outside of the fries and the soft inside of the fries. We will definitely be coming back. Had plenty of seating, parking and good music playing.

Yelp
The food is good The place is nice However the service is very slow and not apologetic about it

Yelp
This is a solid Korean fried chicken spot in Sorrento Valley. There's plenty of parking and seating inside even during peak dinner time. The ambience is fun and playful with k-pop and sports playing in the background. I ordered the golden original and the hot spicy along with a side of French fries. No matter the flavor, the wings are consistently crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. I liked the spicy tang of the hot spicy flavor. The chicken skin was still crispy despite the spicy sauce. Service was polite and quick. Make sure to ask for gloves if you like to keep your hands clean while eating!

Yelp
Expectations were high to have the first Korean fried chicken place in the neighborhood. Unfortunately the whole experience was mid. Got the lunch combo that comes with boneless wings, a side of rice or fries, and a canned drink. This doesn't come with radish which sucked. It was really needed to cut the grease. The canned drinks weren't cold and they didn't have an ice machine. Even the self serve water was room temperature. For the wings, a lot of flavors were unavailable. Got the Gangnam style and soy garlic. The flavors were ok, nothing memorable. Also got a side of tteobokki which were good but again, not extraordinary. Service was ok, you seat and clean up after yourself. We had to ask for everything including extra plates and utensils for our son which was a little annoying. A great service restaurant automatically brings dining items for children without asking. Maybe the bone in wings are better but the boneless lunch deals were not worth it.

Yelp
I've only ordered meals at this location through DoorDash, but I enjoyed my meals each time. Nothing is too outstanding, but this place offers crispy and consistent Korean fried chicken - this is a plus any way you look at it. Secret sauce bone wings - 7/10. I'm not the biggest fan of their house special flavorings, but it offers a whisper of spice and sweetness. Soy garlic bone wings - 10/10. A classic. These wings were gone first at the party I was attending. Galbi bone wings - 5/10. I feel as if something went wrong here. It tasted like a very faint fish sauce but without any strong flavor backbone. It tasted under-seasoned and a little off. They were crispy which was a plus, but I might need to skip this flavor next time. Hot spicy boneless - 8/10. These were solid! Not too spicy (my other friend was dying to give another perspective though) and flavorful. Original bone and boneless - 10/10. Fire! Another classic. These will hit every time! This place gets a 4.5.

Yelp
Large shared parking lot in a business district. It is located kind of hidden as you need to make a turn into the parking lot to see the restaurant. They have a restroom inside (which I have not used) and plenty of large tables. There were a couple of tables outside as well and they have a ramp for wheelchair access. You can order using their touch screen and it has pictures of each item which helped. There is a water station and to go boxes are placed next to the water station for your convenience. The staff provided us with plastic forks and real plates after we sat down. The fries came out first in about 10mins and the wings came out an additional 10mins later. Their bone-in wings were juicy and the breading was thin and crispy! Last time I had their boneless chicken which didn't leave much of an impression. We loved the soy garlic but didn't really like the spicy galbi just because the seasoning tasted nothing like the galbi sauce and not really had the spicy kick. Their cheesling fries were crispy as well and their seasoning was on the sweet side. If you haven't had Korean powder cheese, you should try it. There was a trashcan near the exit so we cleaned up after ourselves and put away the trash and dishes on our way out. There was only one person working so we thought it would help him but not sure if it is customary to cleanup after yourself at this place.

Yelp
my favorite spot for Ddeok-Bokki in SD ever! Also their wings are amazingly seasoned and aren't too heavy either. I can't wait to go back to their lovely quaint restaurant. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming:)

Yelp
Holy Moly!!! BBQ CHICKEN is popping up all over San Diego! Pretty so we will all be saying Popeyes who?? If you haven't read my previous review of BBQ chicken! I believe that they truly have the best fried chicken wings in sand Diego, and the most consistent! They just opened the his location in Sorrento Valley, and I swear they are following me, I work 4 minutes from this one (praise God) but it's a gift and a curse me and my co workers spent $130 on lunch this day !!! But guess what it was alllllll worth every penny!!! We LOVE BBQ CHICKEN!(we ain't Neva Gon Stop!)

Yelp
I ordered online before my lunch break, and when I got to the store, my food wasn't ready by the promised time. I completely understood though as they were busy! I waited inside, which was clean and well kept. By the time I got my meal, my lunch was almost over so I rushed back to work only to find that one of my wings was missing! I ordered the 8 piece honey garlic & only received 7. The fries were also a little soggier than I remember, so it could just be this location. Not sure what went wrong but the bb.q chicken on convoy definitely has crispier chicken and fries! I'd go there instead if I want my Korean chicken fix!

Yelp
First of all, if you're dining at a Korean fried chicken place, definitely opt for actual chicken instead of boneless; the flavor difference is significant, and the experience is worth it. I ordered the Half Golden Original and the Half Secret Sauce Whole chicken. The portions are generous, and while the prices are on the higher side, they are still reasonable considering the quality. The service isn't super fast compared to a traditional fast food restaurant because they fry your chicken to order, ensuring it's fresh. The restaurant is spacious with a relaxing atmosphere. June and Ian work the register/act as waiters and they were really helpful when it came to my questions. Although this is more of a takeout food, they made the dine in experience that much more enjoyable. The lunch combos are a great deal and definitely worth trying. I've visited other locations, and this one is just as good in terms of quality. Good to say that this place is a great start if you have never had Korean Fried Chicken!

Yelp
When I saw the lower rating on Yelp I was extremely confused, this place has some of the best Korean fried chicken in the area, as well as onion rings. I've tried quite a few places up here and this place is the easy pick for crunchy spicy wings.

Yelp
This place makes me feel old. Pounding music was what I first noticed. This is the loudest I've heard music at a restaurant. It was difficult asking questions and ordering as the girl at the counter couldn't hear me. It seems you can't get chicken wings without some kind of sauce. You can only order a boneless chicken, half chicken or a whole chicken without sauce. I opted for the small order of chicken wings with soy garlic sauce as I like soy sauce. About 15 minutes later my wings were brought out with a stack of napkins. I liked the crunchy batter and the tender juicy chicken. I hated the soy garlic sauce as all I could taste was the garlic which was like a bomb blast. I used the napkins to try wiping the sauce off the chicken but a good amount had soaked into the batter. After wiping as much of the sauce off as I could the wings were edible but they still had too much garlic for me to taste anything else. It's possible I might like the galbi sauce but I'm too traumatized to return.

Yelp
As an avid wing fan, I was excited to try this place for the first time. I figured I should start with a fan-favorite so I got the boneless lunch special, with secret sauce and fries. There was no wait during lunchtime on a weekday, and most people I saw come in were picking up to-go orders. But there is a nice seating area inside, with a few large tables that could be good for groups. It took a few minutes to come out, so I'm confident they made my order fresh... it came out hot and crispy, just as I'd hoped. Eating in, they provided an actual metal fork, and paper napkins, and the meal came with a little tub of ketchup. The chicken was well cooked, and doused in a generous amount of sauce, which pooled in the bottom -- plenty to dip your fries or chicken in. The boneless wings themselves were a combination of white and dark meat... all of which was moist (not over cooked or dry) in the middle and crispy outside. The fries were just what you'd expect. They didn't come with much if any salt, so prepare to add some or use a dip. The portions were plenty where I'd take half the chicken to go. The secret sauce has some spice -- you can see the chili flakes in the sauce -- but really it's more sweet and sticky than it is spicy. Almost a little too sweet for my taste, but in general a nice flavor. There are plenty of other flavors to try, so I'll definitely be back. Overall, seems like a great place for some Korean-inspired fried chicken!

Yelp
This place is so good!! Perfectly cooked chicken with delicious flavors!! Inside of the restaurant is nice and clean service was great. Parking was super easy! Definitely a must try if you love Korean fried chicken.

Yelp
TAKE YOUR MONEY TO THE CONVOY BRANCH The bb.q Chicken chain might just be our favorite spot for Korean Fried Chicken. But compared to the Convoy location (haven't been to the National City one), this one is inconsistent: Our first visit a couple weeks after their grand opening was great - giant, juicy, and crispy chicken doused in sauce. But the last three visits have been BAD - missing a piece once, severely under sauced twice, smaller and smaller boneless pieces each trip, squishy/chewy/fatty pieces on our latest 8/6/23 visit. The chain offers plenty of sauce options - Favs: honey garlic, soy garlic, galbi, cheesling (bring back the maple crunch please) Not Fav: Caribbean, secret spicy, gangnam Stars for the friendly front of house staff, large parking lot, and available dine-in tables.

Yelp
If you want to wait 1:30 for a piece of chicken come here, food is not even good, people are rude and it looks like they're doing us a favor when they're being paid to be there. Not worth it, get a chickn fil a or something else.
google avatar

Wesley N.

Yelp
My friends and I came to bbq chicken on a Friday night and the store was not very packed so service was quick. I ordered a small set of 8 wings with galbi sauce. Regardless of the size you order, you can only choose one sauce, which is something that disappointed me because I wanted to try a few of their flavors. The galbi wings were good. I liked how sweet they were but wished the wings were crispier and a bit more savory.

Yelp
Food fresh made to order. Great flavors to choose from. I'm more of a honey garlic girl so it's always a yummy treat!! Fries crispy and delicious. Give them a try I actually like the Sorento Valley location better. It's just so busy in the Clairemont location and that if you get parking in the cramped parking plaza lot. Service here is always with a smile and very good at explaining the menu as well as their patience at as you decide. The vibe here is much like the other location as far as the music is a little on the louder side but if you're there for lunch it maybe just what you need to break the mindset of work. Give this place a go if you haven't already.

Yelp
So happy that a solid Korean chicken place opened up in this area! They have great lunch combos and personally enough chicken to last me two meals! I've ordered lunch here for takeout and eat in as well as for a large party. My favorites are the original, spicy original and Gangnam. Even with sauce, the chicken is still crispy! Their fries are also so good: crispy outside and soft inside. Service has always been friendly and helpful as well. Good amount of seating inside for small abs big groups.
google avatar

Yelp
The Convoy location is better. I came an hour before closing and ordered wings and boneless wings. They gave me boneless for both orders. One of my orders wasn't mixed thoroughly and some parts of my chicken order had no sauce. The fries were old and stale--room temperature. I don't necessarily expect them to make a completely new batch but couldn't they have reheated/refried them up a bit? Fortunately, the chicken was still crunchy and pretty good. The radish had a weird aftertaste? Maybe it wasn't super fresh. I've had pickled radish plenty of times before, so this was off-putting. bb.q typically makes great chicken, so this experience was pretty new for me. The restaurant overall was well-maintained.

Yelp
Got a small order Boneless Chicken-Original Golden Chicken(8 pieces). I really love how well they are fried. Super juicy and crunchy! All at the same time. The food here, delicious. Minus one star for the service. It's my first time here, so I looked over the menu while ordering just to make sure I got everything I wanted. She kept rushing me and asking is that all for you (I was clearly looking up at the menu and there was no line behind me). After taking my order she goes to the kitchen and takes some fries to eat. Comes back out and plays with her phone. Maybe thats a norm there. I like how this place is spacious. Lots of room for people to sit and enjoy their KFC and drinks! Highly recommend the food is delicious!!!

Yelp
Good Chicken and very good sauce. I had the Gold Original Chicken Sandwich for $10.95. The chicken was very crispy, perhaps a little heavy on the breading, but definitely crunchy and tasty. The sandwich was not one large chicken patty or breast as the illustration showcases, but rather three pieces arranged to fit in the bun. The secret sauce delivered nicely with its touch of sweetness and tanginess. I really like the sauce. What I did not like was that the chicken sandwich did not come with pickle and not did they carry pickles. The sandwich did come with a zesty coleslaw on a toasted brioche bun. The crispy pickles would of worked very nice here. The staff members were friendly enough. I did ask the young man for a plastic knife, but I never got one.

Yelp
Really great chicken! Ordered for a family event. My favorite is the original crispy. For some reason, it only comes in boneless style on DoorDash. Even after a 15 min drive home, it stayed hot and crispy. The chicken is brined well , so it tastes good even without batter. We also tried the honey garlic, soy garlic, spicy original, etc. The honey and soy garlic styles were too sweet for me. My family's favorite was the Gangnam style. It's really spicy with jalepenos. Comes with little side dishes of pickled radish. Really refreshing!
google avatar

Taehoon K.

Yelp
I really liked when it opened, chicken was crispy and well fried Today I got whole chicken, and actually was not whole chicken. I got Worst korean fried chicken today. I had four legs, two of them really small. No thigh no wings and half breast. And very unappetizing looking (looks like leftover) Batter is separating from chicken (Many of them) They really need quality control
google avatar

Yelp
I had the Gangnam style chicken with a side of rice and coleslaw. It was sooo tasty! Crispy, juicy, and flavorful. Will come again.
google avatar

Rakhi B.

Yelp
Ambiance - cute place with inside and outside seating Service- fast and friendly Food - fries with cheese, onion rings, gangham style boneless, soy garlic boneless, and spicy galbi. Everything was good and fresh. The chicken was juicy and each one had its own flavour. I loved them all. Need to come back to try more. I wish they had a sampler.

Yelp
I ordered BBQ at least twice a month from Convoy or Sorrento Valley location. Today, I ordered the chicken from the Sorrento Valley location, and my husband picked it up. When we tried to eat, my daughter noticed that chicken was not fully cooked. half of flour dough was not cooked as well. I called the restaurant and asked for the manager, but the employee who received my call said the manager was busy and couldn't answer the phone. I explained to him he said sorry but he can't do anything about it. He didn't even ask my name or number to call back. Will never order here again. Bad experience.
google avatar

Yelp
The Honey garlic wings were delicious. It was still super crispy after a 10 minute ride home and piping hot. Service was amazing.. they let me try a tiny bit of all the sauces i was interested. Unfortunately, i didnt find a spicy one that i liked. I prefer the gochujang based sauce that's sweet, savory, and spicy and that deep taste of fermented soybean. The closest one was more of a tangy sweet rather than what i was looking for.. (acidic sweet spicy?) The location looks great for sit down as well, plenty of seating and had a korean pop vibe.
google avatar

Arleen A.

Yelp
If this is your first time here or if you are considering it. I say go for it! Soy garlic wings will never let you down. And if you enjoy spicy-bold flavors, Gangnam style is my favorite. If you're short on time, I recommend pre-ordering because everything is made fresh here. We waited 20 minutes and it was well worth it. I came here after work with my coworkers, and it was helpful that they had benches and tables that could comfortably seat 9 of us. We went with the soy garlic and spicy galbi. It was served hot and the batter was crunchy! Soy garlic had a subtle sticky umami flavor that wasn't overly sweet or salty. The team loved the spicy galbi, which is essentially their savory galbi sauce. I like how huge and meaty their wings were. Their fries were also really hot, which is always a requirement. We're already planning to come here for lunch tomorrow. LOL

Yelp
So exciting that a Bb.q Chicken opened in Sorrento Valley buuttt I have to report, as hard core Bb.q chicken fan, it's not up to par with the one located on Convoy. This location was more expensive than the the other location AND the wings were soggy. The best part of Bb.q Chicken is the super crispy batter... it was not the case here. I'll be sticking to Bb.q Chicken on convoy for awhile before coming back here

Ailana T.

Yelp
this used to be my absolute favorite go-to spot. since moving here, i always loved the food and the friendly, welcoming staff. i loved coming here, especially because the soy garlic chicken was one of the best things i'd ever tasted. unfortunately, my recent visits have left me deeply disappointed and, very, very frustrated. food: the soy garlic used to come saucy and garlicy, and it used to be really really good, but now it's so dry and theres barely any sauce on it. it's like the kitchen is rationing the sauce???? the boneless chicken too is dry, overcooked, and honestly embarrassing sometimes with how small they come, like they're feeding me scraps. sometimes it even tastes like its been sitting and it's cold. during one visit i noticed a post-it note in the kitchen telling employees to "reuse gloves". reuse gloves? that's beyond disgusting and completely unacceptable. mind you it was in a window to the back, very easy to see if you're going to go use the bathroom. THE WORST OFFENSE was witnessing this older asian woman (who i assume is a manager or shift lead or the owner?) berating a visibly young employee. she was screaming at her so aggressively that the poor girl looked on the verge of tears. it was one of the most unprofessional and heartbreaking things i've ever seen. i should have reported it to the department of labor right then and there, and it was done in front of customers, which is just completely unbelievable that you would do that in a pubic setting. this whole experience screams of greedy management. i've seen this story play out too many times: a restaurant builds a loyal customer base with quality and care, only for management to cut costs and corners just for some profit (ask convoy) but what they fail to realize is that this kind of greed drives away customers who have been coming for a long time for the food and for the service. my heart goes out to every employee here because they deserve better. my family and i will NEVER be returning to this location. the food is still alright, but unfortunately whatever is going on behind the scenes has ruined for me and this place is clearly not what it used to be. the issues are clearly stemming from up top......... quit yelling at your cashiers and rationing gloves and maybe we'll come back.

Yelp
I'll def be back for the korean chicken. It's so crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and has good amount of sauce on top. The honey garlic flavor on the wings was perfect and I like the pickled raddish for added freshness. I regret asking saying yes when she asked if I wanted cheese on top of my Ddeok-Bokki, which are spicy rice cakes. It was a strong 3 cheese blend flavor of shredded cheese or something along those lines but it was overpowering and I won't make that mistake again. Besides that, it was good; I want to try the rose one next time. Service was good from each employee. Plenty of tables inside.

Yelp
Arrived around 11:50 to beat the lunch rush, but didn't end up being too busy, we got our food in around 10 minutes. Chicken sandwiches were as tasty as the regular fried chicken but the chicken portion was a bit small and fell apart a bit when eating. Boneless chicken with secret spicy was great as always. For the same price as the chicken sandwich combo I would rather get the chicken on its own as a better value.
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
We found a screw in the rose tteokbokki.... My boyfriend bit into it when he had spoonful. The waiter was apologetic and took it out of our bill. Regardless, this should NOT be happening and we were very disappointed in our meal. We are a big fan of bbq chicken but will not be returning to this location.

Yelp
Great value for Korean fried Half & Half Whole Chicken and wings. Service is fast and clean. The location is a little hidden in business park, however this is a good value for the price.

Alex A.

Yelp
I got the food to go and the food was ready when it said it was! So, a plus on service. The ambiance seemed laid back and clean. The food tasted good. I got the Korean Beef Bulgogi. I will probably come back when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Went here for a late dinner with a friend and it was exactly what we both needed. We ordered 8 pieces each of Honey Garlic and Soy Garlic wings with a side of sweet potato fries and steamed rice. The Honey Garlic might just be my new favorite! It's sweet from the honey but the garlic adds a whole other layer of taste. Honestly could eat 20 of these things. The Soy Garlic was a nice balance because we didn't want another sweet flavor and wasn't in the mood for spicy. The savory flavor of the Soy Garlic nicely balanced the sweetness of the Honey Garlic. As for the sweet potato fries, I enjoyed them as they were properly seasoned and cooked. Usually I opt for regular fries but I'm glad we decided to try something different. The chicken comes with pickled radish which is a must-have when eating Korean fried chicken. Altogether this got my friend and I full and we were able to take some home! The service was relatively fast as we went on a slower day and the ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for winding down and eating some good food. P.S. Heating up as leftovers still tasted delicious!

Yelp
Korean fried chicken was crispy and the chicken was juicy and packed with flavor. Service was friendly. Ambiance was spacious and clean. I would eat there again. Great prices and happy hour beer is a bonus.

Yelp
Horrible. There was barely any meat on the chicken. Just a lot of flour. Almost forty dollars for this? KFC has miles better quality control. I felt like I got reheated chicken. Biz that perform this bad should be taken out.

Yelp
First time here , tried the boneless chicken I was not impressed actually , I was very disappointed, the chicken is too big , would preferably have tiny pieces instead of huge .

Yelp
Pretty solid food choice for sauced, fried BBQ chicken. Located in a strip mall in Sorrento Valley this restaurant has some good options for lunch. The main staple here is korean fried chicken. They also have some other dishes like kim che fried rice. Portion size for the chicken is good. You can probably split 2 orders amongst 3 people. The chicken is all very crispy and the sauces are strong. The spicy original chicken is my favorite. Its not to spicy but its very sweet and flavorful. Overall a good option for lunch in the area.

Yelp
The original crispy is my favorite as usual. Service is awesome. Very friendly service. I like the video playing in the restaurant. Inside is clean and neat too. Take off one star because there is only 7 piece of boneless honey garlic but I ordered 8 piece. Maybe they give me 7 big pieces instead.

Yelp
I love the BB.Q chicken franchise! So when I saw this on yelp, I took our family and friends here for our recent graduate! We were a party of 20 ppl so we dined in. I understand how the workers must've felt with a crowd but they could've hid their attitude a bit better lol. Girl hated it every time she went up to us to get our order. The face says it all . We ordered kimchi fried rice, the girl hands it to us, then says she gave the wrong one, so she takes the food back to give it to the OTHER table. Customer says it's not theirs-- yikes. She takes it in the back. Then, she comes back out with the same food saying it was actually ours. Bro I don't even know if we want it now at that point, it's been everywhere . We got hair on our clean plate, we told the girl. All she did was take it back . At least a sorry would do LOL. She got visibly upset the fact we mentioned that (and the fact our other friends came in) and then told her coworker that she was going on break. We weren't even being condescending or a Karen. Idk man, homie wasn't having it with dine-in. The guy working was sweet tho, our friend went up and talked to him with our order and wanted to buy a ranch sauce, and he gave it to us on the house. Also when we visited, the male bathroom sink didn't work-- LOL hopefully they got it fixed! We got multiple orders of the fried chicken. Soy Garlic is the best flavor, as usual! Original and honey was good too, doesn't match with the superior soy garlic tho. Got some fries and fried rice too, yummy. Just wished the service was a lil bit better, maybe they were having a bad day lol. We cleaned up our table and included tip for the big order soooo...

Yelp
I would think all location would have the same recipe, taste, and look. I door dashed from this location last week and was disappointed. I get the spicy original and only been to the convoy location, but since this was closer for door dash I went with it. However, the Chicken was much smaller and tasted like a different recipe. I'll stick to the Convoy location.

Yelp
Ordered here online a few times, and finally decided to come in in person. Honestly, it's been extremely consistent and the staff is very friendly. Chicken is good, and I like how the place is a little bit more low-key and slower on the weekends to get that Korean chicken fix. Clean as well, with lots of parking
