I've tried this Korean fried chicken at K-Town in New York, and it tastes just like the one in New York. It's delicious. I really like the honey garlic flavor, and the boneless chicken wings look huge

Great experience. Good service. Good food. We got the whole chicken that comes with half regular fried chicken and half spicy. If you can’t take too much spicy then don’t order the spicy. Its sweet at first bite but then the spice really hits hard. Taste is good just little spicy. Bulgogi poutine fries are very tasty. Its like loaded fries with beef. The best part about this location that they use hand slaughtered halal.

This is a very new and clean location. The chicken was very well flavored and the Ddeok-Bokki was AMAZING. I loved the Ddeok-Bokki!! It wasn’t really spicy but flavorful and we also got extra cheese on ours. For drinks we got the mango lemon smoothie for me it was abit too sweet. In addition, our waiter this tall guy was super helpful, full of patience and had amazing overall service. The only minor problem I had was with the boneless chicken, the chicken meat wasn’t as good for some reason but the flavoring and seasoning was definitely there. (I got the Galbi flavor) for anyone trying I definitely recommend the wings instead!

Casual eatery with the best chicken wing options I've found in Northern Virginia. The flavors and quality of the food were spectacular. The flavors were more unique than you'll find at any other wing place. You get the classics like honey garlic, but you're also trying Korean spices that are a party on the palette. All the servers were fantastic. This is a dine-in or pick up spot. Pick up is done through kiosk and dine-in is table side service. My family and I came in on a Saturday night, and the servers were very patient with the entire group, which was a mix of kids and adults. They have halal chicken and meat! Looking forward to my next visit.

Was really excited to have bbq chicken open near me! We ordered for the first time at this specific location and was a bit disappointed by our order. We got whole chicken - half original and half spicy TO GO. I should have checked the order prior to going home but I didn’t of course. Once we got home, we noticed that the spicy chicken barely had any sauce, almost like it was made in a hurry but… when I picked up the chicken there were only two tables (one table was done eating too). We called to let the store know and the worker on the other line said something along the lines of “oh, I’m sorry. But how can I help you?” We’ve had this exact order at other locations and the spicy chicken never looked so “un-saucy” and sad before. All in all, we got it sorted out and I know this can happen sometimes. The original chicken flavor was as good as we remember so happy about that.

Came by to place a to-go order & was pleasantly surprised! Great flavor & fried perfectly. The chicken wasn't too fatty w fillers or anything & they actually give you decent sized pieces. Will definitely be coming back here

I've been here twice. I love Korean fried chicken, and have tried other bbq chicken chains such as the one in Falls Church and the one in Centreville. I think this one is marginally the worst of the three. Falls church is a close second. I can't really explain it but the chicken is not as fresh and juicy as the other chains. My friends I was with thought so as well. I usually order the Original Olive Oil Chicken since that's the best way to see if they fry their chicken properly, and it just wasn't it. I ordered BB wings as well, and I had the same feeling. Not sure if they are making it to order, changing the oil frequently, or if it's how they do the process correctly in the back. Obviously doesn't even come close to the BBQ chicken I had in Korea earlier this year, not that I was expecting that. Like I said, I've been here twice. The first visit was close to when they opened, it wasn't that great so I didn't come for a long time. I went recently to give it another shot hoping I went on a bad day, but I had the same exact feeling as my first. Very unfortunate since I was excited to have one of my favorite chains so close to home. I'd rather drive 30m to cville (and have done so many times), than drive 12m to come here. That's how big of a difference it is.

I've always been a fan of barbecue chicken, and this restaurant has turned barbecue chicken into a work of art. I diverted a little from the regular barbecue to an actual chicken salad sandwich. This sandwich was at least 4 inches thick and they added salad and a tomatoes to the sandwich as well. The service has always been above par here, and today's quick dinner was no different. I appreciated the excellent service again today. The restaurant is also a fun place to be in my view. I am already looking forward to my next visit here, that is how much I love the food!

While in Va searching for lunch ran into this suggestion by yelp. Easy parking. Nice helpful staff. Clean place. Food is fresh. Wings very flavorful but i Fitbit The flavor we picked. They are pretty breaded. I will return to try more things on the menu. One issue i had is that i have no idea what some of the items are even are. So. Hopefully the staff will help me with my future choices again def try if you are a wing person

BBQ Chicken opened not long ago and we have had several trips to check it out. There isn't much parking in the front, but huge place to park in the back. The place is clean and quite big and the staff is attentive helpful and kind. We had wings every time and the kids apparently love it. Perhaps the price is a bit high, but apart from that, the food is good and so is the ambiance.

Secret sauce chicken: 7/10 Ketchupy to me, not spicy, but sweet? Soy Garlic wings: 8/10 Little salty but fantastic overall flavor Plain original whole chicken: 10/10 Fantastic, super crunchy and not salty plain wings bone in: 10/10 Puts KFC to shame Love this place. If you are trying to cut down on sodium go with plain. Don't forget your radish sides. It's delish. So many choices so I'll keep trying the other variants.

The original spicy wings were great, the hot spicy boneless wings were over the top hotness. Nice, clean atmosphere, great customer service and fun k-pop playing. Overall, great experience, would recommend.

BB.Q chicken is the best fried chicken around. They also have other Asian dishes if you don't like eating fried chicken. BB Q is our go to spot for fried chicken and it never disappoints.

100000/10. I was expecting good food but I was surprised to have such amazing food it's harder to find halal Korean so this place is definitely unique. Here's some information that diners might find useful: - dining in is full service so please remember to tip the staff :) - the spicy galbi was not spicy at all! It's sweet and maybe just a tad hint of spice but don't let the two by it's name scare you, it's mild! - the poutine is a lot! So it's best ordered if you're sharing with a group of 4+ or if you're intending to eat it as your entree, but it's a lot for an appetizer! Everything was so delicious, fresh, and we're def coming back next time we're craving Korean

Very delicious chicken!!! I just started working near by and this place is dangerously close! I have only gotten take-out but the staff is so friendly and it seems like a nice place to eat in. The chicken is sooo crispy on the outside yet still flavorful and far from dry. My favorite is the original spicy wings !!! I definitely recommend!!

This was actually my first time trying Korean fried chicken. I was blown away at the crispiness, but also yet juiciness of the chicken. Both boneless and whole wings were so flavorful. Definitely recommend the spicy original wings, spicy galbi wings, and the boneless soy garlic - & of course treat yourself to some soju

I came with my friend who was there for an Instagram Collab. This place was absolutely amazing and everything tasted so good. The service is really good too. They brought out everything so fast and even offered a second for drinks. The places are mixed between a casual and a sit down restaurant. Ask for what we tried: The passionfruit tea was really good . The Thai bubble tea was also really good. We had three different kinds of wings with the honey garlic being the absolute best. I would not recommend the cheesling ones I was a little disappointed by this one, but I think it's just depending on who you are. It was not spicy, and I kind of like more saucy and spicy wings personally. However, if you like cheesy wings, I would recommend it. The cheese was more powdery than saucy. I think that's just what threw me off. I also got the vegetarian bibimbap which was absolutely amazing. This was the best Tteboki I've ever had. It was more spicier than other places. The other places I've been to it's usually too sweet and taste kind of weird, but this place said did it right. I will definitely be coming back here. This place was so good. Their wings were probably the best wings I've ever had.

We have been visiting other locations in MD,DE and this one did not meet typical BBQ Chicken quality. There were ONLY 3 tables when we visit there in the afternoon and they were already eating their food. But, it took almost 30 min for our chicken to bring out. And several of those wings were UNDERcook. We suspeted that they did not even double fry the chicken since it is not as crispy as other location. We order drink with Chicken and told them we will be dine in, but our drink was not served until we got our chicken. They should visit Ellicott City location and learn how to fry and season chicken like they do. Since both service and food were under per, we did not even take picture at their location.

Decided to check this spot out for the first time after getting a coupon in the mail for a free strawberry lemonade with any $10+ purchase. So this is a new bb.Q Chicken location (specializing in Korean Fried Chicken) that just opened less than two months ago. It's in the Tysons Corner area of Vienna, across the street from a big Walmart and within walking distance from the Spring Hill metro station in Tysons. One thing I'll point out is, while I live in the Vienna/Merrifield area, the bb.Q Chicken location in Falls Church is actually a bit closer to me than this one, which is on the other side of Vienna from where I live. I called the location and they were nice enough to let me order by phone, though I think they much more typically accept orders online or in person. I ordered the 8 pc "Hot Spicy" (their 2nd spiciest flavor next to their "Wings of Fire") Whole Chicken and a small side of white rice. One thing I wasn't clear on when ordering (and wasn't clearly explained on the phone after I asked) is what kind of pieces of chicken you get with a "Whole Chicken" though maybe that's just my own ignorance. For example, Bon Chon Chicken lets you choose between "wings" and "drumsticks", which is much more straightforward for me, LOL. I wanted to mix flavors and get 4 pc "Hot Spicy" and 4 pc Soy Garlic (my favorite flavor of Korean Fried Chicken). They wouldn't let me do that unfortunately (you can't mix on the 8 pc servings here), though that was no big deal. They said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. Drove by and 30 or so minutes later picked the order up, including the free strawberry lemonade with my coupon. Everything (chicken + side of rice + tax) came out to $18 total, which I thought was a solid price. Spiffy new restaurant on the inside with a modern decor. What I really like about this place is they offer a wider variety of fried chicken flavors and even sides (e.g., Kimchi Fried Rice) than similar fried chicken spots I frequent, like Bon Chon... I'll have to check their other offerings out the next time I'm here. Tried the fried chicken when I got home and it was great! The pieces of chicken are smaller portioned than what I'm used to at Bon Chon but the total amount of chicken is about the same or maybe even slightly more at about the same price. As a spicy food lover, the spice level I thought was just right for my tastes - definitely spicy, but not unreasonably so. I do think they maybe douse the chicken in maybe a little bit too much sauce (as there was quite a bit of residual sauce at the bottom of the box the chicken came in) but that didn't take away too much from the meal. The (free) strawberry lemonade was also pretty good/decent, though honestly I don't think I'd ever pay the full $3.95 price tag for it if it wasn't free. Very, very important to point out that the food here, including all the fried chicken, comes with allergen warnings. I didn't notice the warnings on the website when I first ordered (though I see it at the very bottom of their menu just now after checking), but they post the warnings pretty clearly and visibly in-store. Amongst other things, they warn about peanuts, tree nuts, and shellfish, all of which I'm midly allergic to. But I went ahead and ate my entire order and had no reaction whatsoever. If you have allergies, definitely review their allergen information and eat here at your own risk. Overall the food was very good and I look forward to coming back and trying some other things on their menu. Definitely recommend!

Horrible food quality and bad service. Food is not fresh, taste and textures are bad. Complained on the phone and manager told me to call Uber to get refund. No thanks, I won't need a refund. Just not coming back. Just don't waste your hard earned money on this place.

I came during one of the first days they opened. The guy didn't seem to know what was going on. You asked me what I ordered where I ordered from. He also asked me my name it almost seemed like he didn't believe that. I ordered online. It's OK I get it. It was a soft opening I think. although when I got the food and took it home, the rice cakes were very hard in the spicy rice cake dish. in the chicken was pinkish in the inside. I'm hoping it wasn't raw. I did get a stomachache, but my stomach is pretty strong so after the next day, I was OK.

Received delivery from here recently and this was very good. I have been wanting to try for a while and finally did. We got the original wings as well as the secret sauce and hot & spicy. The secret sauce was like a garlic soy almost and the hot and spicy definitely had spice. I liked the hot and spicy more as the secret sauce just missed the flavor I wanted. The original one was also really good on its own. Rice, coleslaw and fries were great sides along with the radish; I just wish the radish was more pickled but the coleslaw made up for this. Overall, I'd definitely try this again!

The fried chicken has multiple flavors and they have thick layers of coating. The original flavor had a weird plastic smell. The fries were just so so. Not good enough to recommend.

I visited this place the day before and tried some samplers. I also had the chance to meet the manager and employees. They were very friendly and accommodating. I was hungry and looking for food, so the manager kindly let me sample some of their chicken. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to come back for the soft opening to try their wings. I picked two different flavors and also ordered the Cheesesling. I brought home two of my favorite flavors, which were the spicy Galbi and Hot Mala, to share with my family. The Cheesesling fries were okay to me, but the real star was the chicken. I have tried many Korean chicken dishes from Bon Chon to Chi Mc, but this place had 14 flavors of chicken, and the two I tried were absolutely amazing outshining the previous places I've been to. They took the quality of chicken to the next level. The chicken was succulent, and the sauce was hearty enough that it disappeared from my table fast when I got it home. Before I knew it, I was left wingless and wanting more. I did not regret my mission to taste the wings today. They also have whole chicken and boneless options along with other sides and korean dishes, so I will have to come back in secret from friends and family.

Bb.q Chicken has been my favorite chicken spot, and this new location was absolutely amazing. My half-and-half whole chicken was juicy, fresh, and tasty with the crispy outside and unique seasonings. So addicting.. Ddeok-Bokki was so savory and nice too. It was not painfully spicy at all- Just the right amount of heat and then sweetness. I am ditching my usual go-to location (Falls Church). The food quality over there kinda went down, and it's not very far apart anyway. I am ditching Falls Church and keeping this Vienna/Tysons location.

We ordered the Honey Garlic, Cheeselings, Original, and the Secret Sauce wings alone with cheese sticks and fried dumplings. The cheese wings texture was amazing, crispy and crunchy as you bite into it, however it was a bit too sweet. Honey garlic was by far the best, the meat seemed a little pink, but the flavor was very savory and melts in your mouth. The Secret Sauce wings and original were average, I wouldn't recommend them and there's nothing special. Cheese sticks were crunchy and the cheese was very stretchy. Interior was empty when we came.

I just didn't enjoy any of the food. The fried chicken has an after taste, the bowl was super greasy, the nuggets, my kids had one bite. Just not good. For me it was a waste of money.

Kishore, Brian, and I checked out BB.Q in Vienna. It was one of the larger BB.Q locations with the most natural light. All of us got various sweetened ice teas - Passionfruit Green Tea, Strawberry Lychee Green Tea, and Lychee Black Tea. We underestimated how large the pieces were and how huge the portions were so we had a lot of leftovers. We shared three types of wings - Hot Spicy, Galbi, and Cheesling, Bulgogi Poutine, and Cheesling Fries. Among the wings, my favorite flavor was Galbi. It was sweet and tangy! Between the two fries dishes, I liked the flavors of Cheesling one more.

This was my first time trying this restaurant and I was pleasantly Surprised. Food tasted great and fresh and the service was amazing as well. This is a place you can take your date too as well as family or friends. The ambiance fits all the occasions!! I will be coming back again to try their other flavors of fried chicken

The service is very slow. The slowest branch I've been to. The floor is very slippery I almost slipped as soon as I got into the store. Lawsuit waiting to happen if a customer fell inside the restaurant. Update: they forgot to even make our order and had to wait longer.

AMAZING!! The food was fantastic. Everyone loved every dish we ordered. All the boneless chicken was so crunchy and so juicy. The Gangnam style chicken had a slight black pepper kick. The Galbi chicken was sweet. The Golden one was like Popeyes but actually juicy. The bbq rice bowl was like Mayo mixed with the sauce. I'd like it even without the rice. My mom loved it with the rice though. The ramen was the perfect texture. So nice and chewy. The service was fantastic too! They kept coming to check on us. The original server didn't know how to describe the food, so she brought a man was knowledgeable and helped us choose. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I did not even expect this place to have such service. I thought it was like any fast food joint. All in all, the food was so worth the drive. I want to come back for the poutine, nachos, and drinks next time. Definitely come with more people so you can try more things!

My family and I ordered every flavor. My fav is def hot mala but hard to choose and I have to say this but hands down way better than any other Korean fried chicken chain like bonchon and Mc. The location is amazing and the servers are so kind. I also love the open layout of the restaurant and the music that they play. It's such a vibe! I also forgot to mention that all the chicken is halal. :))

We enjoyed our dinner at bb.q chicken which recently opened.. The restaurant was pretty spacious and can easily accommodate larger parties (booths sit approx. 6 easily while the other tables seat 2 to 4 people). The dining area was bright and very clean. The service was relatively quick and efficient. We were told to select any seat we want and were quickly handed menus. Once we placed our order, the food came fast with the bibimbap coming first with the drinks. I got the yuzu ade which had citrus rinds and was quick refreshing. The wings took a bit longer to cook but we did not wait that long to get them. My sister and I shared the bulgolgi bibimbap and small original wings with hot and spicy sauce on the side. The bibimbap was larger than we expected and chockfull of veggies and grilled meats. I loved the mushrooms that were sautéed with the flavorful and lean beef. The chicken wings were crispy and the meat was juicy. There is free parking in front of the restaurant. The spaces were a bit tight, and there were many reserved and handicap spaces.

Terrible service, terrible parking, only one monitor to order and two people on staff during the dinner forget about coming here during rush hour.

Food is not bad; I enjoy their poutine and their chicken is above average. However, they take forever to come out with food. I ordered at 7, the estimated time is 7:30 (all I got was the poutine.) sure, no problem- I got here at 7:30 and have now been waiting for 15 minutes. Delays happen and I get it, but there are a grand total of 2 parties in here- the fact that one $16 poutine is taking 45 minutes and counting is just not acceptable. This also isn't the first time something like this has happened... only giving 2 stars because their food is pretty ok. Their operating system is severely flawed and needs some serious reconsideration. Edit: got the food and it's lukewarm. Might've been sitting in the back for awhile.

Bibimbob was mediocre. Cheesy chicken wings were good and the other flavors as well. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but it wasn't bad. Service was good. Ambiance is regular.

STUNNED. Korean food is often one of the more tricky cuisines to find a halal version of, and bbq chicken has successfully filled that gap. Loved the wings and hoping to try the rest of the different flavors. Bowl was good too

Food is good but service is terrible. Owner was incredibly rude to my son. Granted he was wrong for not noticing a sign but the owners reaction was way overboard. when I said something she became very rude to me.

We came to the restaurant yesterday for dinner. We ordered two medium wings , a sweet potato fries , a bowl of steam rice and a strawberry lychee greentea. First, the rice was so old, cold and dried. we couldn't even eat the rice. The drink was not taste like strawberry or lychee, just like water with color. The fries didn't have any dipping sauce. Second, the service was ok but they forgot the pickles that should come with the chicken. And we supposed to get 15% off but we figured out we didn't until getting home. We won't come back. So disappointed!!
