"Be Pasta comes from the people behind Spes, Have & Meyer, and Terre. Check out a pasta-forward menu with things like fried tortellini, alongside a bunch of Italian natural wine." - will hartman, bryan kim

9 Standout Restaurants Serving Quintessential Boston Fare | Eater

"Like a salad bar, but better, BE is a fast-casual pasta bar that opened in Brookline earlier this year. Here you can pick your favorite pasta shape, a sauce — like pink vodka or basil pesto — and add toppings like sausage, eggplant, and grated Parmesan. It’s all shaken together in a to-go cup in front of you. For those who can’t be bothered to customize, there are classic pasta combinations on the menu including chicken and broccoli alfredo or macaroni and cheese, as well as an assortment of salads and sandwiches. Add a can of Pepsi to your order and call it supper." - Molly McDonough

‘Boston-Style’ Barbecue Startup Wade BBQ Loses Its Lease After Six Months - Eater Boston

"BE Pasta Bar is now slinging noodles in Brookline, at 1026 Commonwealth Avenue, between Babcock Street and Winslow Road. The draw here is build-your-own pasta bowls; choices include rigatoni, fusilli, and spaghetti noodles layered in sauces like pesto basil, pink vodka, or white alfredo. The fast-casual pasta shop, owned by married team Billy and Eva Axiotis (the “BE” is a nod to their first initials), is open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m." - Erika Adams

Google
I stumbled across BE Pasta Bar with friends and was so glad I did! The customer service was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food was fresh and delicious, the prices reasonable, and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. I had the chicken, broccoli Alfredo with fusilli pasta and it was delicious.

I got a Rigatoni, Pesto, with sundried tomatoes, chicken, and grated cheese on the top. The ingredients were fresh, especially the sauce. The pasta was well done. When i ate it, it was a flavor explosion. I would highly recommend this place!

BE Pasta Bar is a hidden gem! I’ve been here a few times, and each visit has been fantastic. The fresh pasta is always cooked to perfection, and their homemade sauce is absolutely delicious. The Chicken Parm Sandwich is a must-try, and the Tomato Soup is the perfect starter. It’s a clean, cozy spot with a great vibe, and I love how they make their own pasta and sauces. Highly recommend!

Google
I had an amazing experience at BE Pasta Bar. The place is clean, welcoming, and the service is top-notch. Their fresh pasta is incredible, and I had the Chicken Caesar Salad, which was a perfect combination of crisp greens and tender chicken. The homemade sauce just adds to the overall experience. The Buffalo Mac n Cheese was also very flavorful. Definitely one of my new favorite spots!

The Tomato Soup is perfect for starting your meal. The staff is always so welcoming, and the place has a cozy vibe that makes it even better.

I recently visited BE Pasta Bar and was blown away by the food. The fresh pasta and homemade sauce are incredible, and the Chicken Caesar Salad was fresh and flavorful. The Buffalo Mac n Cheese was cheesy and rich, and the Chocolate Cake for dessert was a perfect treat.

Yelp
Went back again recently, the store was empty when I arrived but seemed like everyone came at once and there were about 10 people in line by the 10min later when my friends got there. The two employees at the store ran a tight and efficient ship, and served me delicious pasta while steadily working through the dinner rush. 10/10 love this place!

Yelp
Oh boy, you gotta love Pasta. Me and my girl stopped here over the summer for some Pasta Chicken sandwiches, and some other good stuff on their menus. Oh man, some of the best tasting pasta here in the city. Our first time here. Lovely staff and cool people working here. We were happy campers.

Yelp
You certainly get what you pay for, but Mondays are half off purchases of $15+. You get a LOT of pasta, but I wish it was more al dente. Mine was a bit mushy for my preference. I also hoped for more sauce, glad I added sun dried tomatoes because otherwise there would be little to no tomato flavor. Overall the dish tasted exactly like something I could make at home rather than get from a restaurant. Otherwise service is friendly and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

Yelp
My true rating would be a 3.5 not a 3! For what this is, a fast pasta spot in a college area, it was good. The pasta was fresh, al dente, and actually pretty good. The sauce on the other hand was not very flavorful. But for the cost ($11) for this box of pasta, it was worth the price. The service was fast and the restaurant was empty but had ample seating. Empty but that is to be expected as I believe this is more of a "to-go" friendly place. If in the area and craving quick pasta I would go back and try another pasta.

Yelp
Small spot. Few seating upstairs. Convenience is the proper word. Pasta in a cup is nice to have and bring around. The pasta was nice and soft. Chicken was crispy. Sauce was good flavor. Not bad.

Yelp
I ordered online and went to pick up in store, but since there was only 1 worker and a bunch of others in the store it took a while to pick up my order. When the worker said my order was ready I thought I would be able to leave, but had to wait again because I was missing half my order. It's a fairly small space, but there is a small set of stairs to a seating area with a few tables if you choose to dine in. I ordered a chicken broccoli alfredo and created my own pasta with sausage and cheese. The container is not great for pasta because they pour in all the sauce at the bottom before they put in the pasta and toppings. It's difficult to mix, so you end up eating your toppings and are left with dry leftover pasta. There is enough for 2 servings if you want to share with a friend if you aren't too hungry. Overall, a quick and easy concept to try out, but I wouldn't return since there's nothing special about the pasta.

Yelp
They advertised a 50% off deal for mondays. I scanned the qr code with the deal on it and ordered. I was then charged full price anyways. When i asked the staff to refund the order and apply the discount he couldn't figure out how to do it on the pos system. Would not recommend. Also mobile ordering does not mean that they make your order ahead of time. We arrived after placing an order 25 min before, and then once we "checked in" they began preparing it.

Yelp
Rude and unprofessional staff, which could be overlooked if the food was even halfway decent

Yelp
Well, I went back and tried again with the meatball sandwich that was recommended to me, but that was also a letdown. Aside from the meatballs being dry (their recipe is just not quite right in my opinion) I bit in and saw what I would say is way too much pink for a cooked meatball from a restaurant. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but my friend said they left the paper on the cheese slices when he ordered. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place, especially for the price.

Yelp
Super bland. Pasta tasted overcooked. Concept is good but does not taste fresh at all.
