Where To Eat In Marina Del Rey - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"A lot of dining options in MDR are located in hotels. We fully recognize this is weird, but given the price of real estate here, you should probably just accept it. Beachside is located inside the Jamaica Bay Inn and is a more-casual alternative to Salt. With a solid Happy Hour (Monday-Friday, 4-6pm) and brunch every day, it’s almost better than a trip to the actual beach. Almost." - The Infatuation Los Angeles Crew

Kenny is a fantastic waiter! He's the kind of guy that makes you feel like you stopped by for dinner at your cousin's house and cousin just happens to be a great chef. He even delighted me with a complimentary dessert of sponge cake that he "made for Thanksgiving and am trying to share a lot of these desserts that I made too many of.". Not sure how literal to take that, as he played a very pro presentation of sponge cake to serve me after dinner. But it made this a dining experience. Most of the reviews make it sound like this is a breakfast place. Maybe it primarily is? I normally go out of my way NOT to dine at hotel restaurants. This one is unique. It feels like a great dinner joint that happens to have a hotel attached. I went for the shrimp fettuccine because it was a cold, rainy night and comfort food seemed appropriate. I added a started of roasted Brussels and all dishes were on point. The mushroom cream sauce was excellent, and the roasted Brussels were perfectly soft but crunchy and seasoned well, not oversalted as I am used to many places.

Came for breakfast and they didn't disappoint. The steak was juicy and tender, the hash browns were crispy and the eggs were fluffy. Great breakfast and a beautiful view. Valet only and it's $12 with validation. Definitely coming back.

Good restaurant next to water, great service and atmosphere. We went with another family, and kids had a great time playing there while we enjoyed eating and drinking with a great May weather. Their drinks tasted good, especially with great surroundings and good company. I would recommend this place to my family and friends. They have parking and valet available at the hotel, which makes it even more convenient.

Great location. Small menu. But very pleasant ambiance. Natalie, as a hostess, was great. The POS system showed that no tables were available outside, Howevwer, she went personally and looked around. She found a table that was available. And we enjoyed our day.

The best place I went to. The food was excellent, Kenny was so so so so good, we were there for a minute. He was so lovely and kind. The view was very nice as well.

Went to Beachside Restaurant & Bar in Marina del Ray with some friends and loved it. The location right on the water and I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. We tried the fish tacos and they were fresh and flavorful. Everything else we ordered came out well and tasted great. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the experience easy and pleasant. It is a great spot if you want good food with a gorgeous view and a laid back vibe. I would definitely go back.

Honestly really disappointed. Justin was our server. They brought out my boyfriend’s burrito after about 20 minutes but never brought my food at all. I didn’t order anything complicated, yet people who sat down after us got the same dish I ordered while I was still waiting. After about 45 min of waiting, I just decided to leave and go eat somewhere else. The burrito was pretty mid (took 2 bites) but you can get the same thing from a street vendor. On top of that, you have to pay for parking, so I basically paid just to have a bad experience. They did apologize, but it didn’t feel genuine. Save your time and money and eat somewhere else.

Nice outside patio with heating for the colder days. Food was delicious, maybe on the smaller side of the portions. We all enjoyed it. The club Grilled chicken sandwich was probably the best choice as it came with plenty of fries on the side. We came here as it was marketed as dog friendly. Our pup was able to stay under the table and not get bothered by other dogs during our meal.
