Kenny is a fantastic waiter! He's the kind of guy that makes you feel like you stopped by for dinner at your cousin's house and cousin just happens to be a great chef. He even delighted me with a complimentary dessert of sponge cake that he "made for Thanksgiving and am trying to share a lot of these desserts that I made too many of.". Not sure how literal to take that, as he played a very pro presentation of sponge cake to serve me after dinner. But it made this a dining experience.
Most of the reviews make it sound like this is a breakfast place. Maybe it primarily is? I normally go out of my way NOT to dine at hotel restaurants. This one is unique. It feels like a great dinner joint that happens to have a hotel attached. I went for the shrimp fettuccine because it was a cold, rainy night and comfort food seemed appropriate. I added a started of roasted Brussels and all dishes were on point. The mushroom cream sauce was excellent, and the roasted Brussels were perfectly soft but crunchy and seasoned well, not oversalted as I am used to many places.
