Great food! Went with out of town guest & watched a movie. The first row of the balcony had a super view of the show. Get there early for movies, so parking won't be an issue. Everyone enjoyed their food (4 different dishes). Friendly & knowledgeable staff. We've recommended this place for other guests & they loved the restaurant too.

Every menu item with “AK” as a prefix is a solid 💯!!! AK Seafood Chowder… AK Fish n’Chips Salmon or Cod - all great!!! Also got the shredded zucchini noodle salad topped with blackened cod - such a fit-fresh yummy combo!

Wasn’t sure what we were getting into by going here to try out their Baja Cod Taco but hand down this was one of the best Taco I’ve eaten and recommend to go and check out. Very friendly staff with excellent service. Very interesting place and well worth stopping by.

It’s pretty good. Highly recommend if your visiting or have somebody visiting. The better food is on the theatrepub side but the fancy food is on the grill side. Had a burger, it was pretty good. There has definitely been a change in the past few years, as the overall vibe feels very different. Overall, it feels more cookie cutter and less of the “Alaskan experience” it was before. I would say it’s less friendly to locals and more of a normal restaurant. Theater side is still pretty good though. I would give 3 1/2 stars if I could.

Went here to grab some good food with my family and left disappointed. We were told it would be a 30min wait for our food, which was understandable. Waited for over an hour to get our food and they hadn't even started on any of our orders. Several other tables arrived 30min after we did and received their food within 20-30min. We informed the waiters we still had not received our food for over an hour and after waiting another 15-20min, they still had not even started on our food. We ended up leaving since it had been 2 hours at this point and we were all starving. I used to love coming here but, after this visit I won't be dining here again.

This one is more difficult to review, because I send everyone here to eat. The chicken Ranch pizza is my go to pizza for out of state pizza and friends and co workers how visit Alaska. We ordered 2 medium pizzas 2 glasses of wine, and two lemonades with tip 110$. Chicken Ranch and Santa's little helper were the pizza we ordered. The Chicken Ranch is my favorite for past 20 years. Sadly, this pizza does not have the glory and honor from the past. It tasted ok, but it lacked the toppings, including the chicken and cheese and the Crust just seemed thinner. I felt the Santa's little helper was much better, more toppings than the Chicken Ranch. The value was just not there for two medium pizzas around $70. Sadly for the value I will not be sending people here anymore. I just cannot justify around $70 for two medium pizzas. The server was friendly and did a great job. Pizza came out quickly. Third photo is just a size comparison of slices, it is later that evening in the leftover box.

Got seated fast even though it was busy. Waitress told us food would take 35 minutes. We said no problem. Ended up over doubling that time. Went up and asked for my sons dish. It had been sitting under the lamps. My son took 2 bites of his fish and chips and said they were greasy and under seasoned. He couldn't eat it. I asked about the rest of our food and it wasn't ready yet. We left after about an hour and half waiting for food. We watched as many, many tables, who came in after us, received their food. I ordered a pizza to go on my phone, as we ordered our dishes. My pizza got done in an hour. Our food did not. This place used to be good. We will not be going to the restaurant again.

All the food is delicious, and all the people are nice, all the time forever. Even their salads are addictive, it's wild. The theatrepub and the grill have different menus, but you can order online from both for pick-up at their location, and there are a lot of options to add or exclude ingredients. The Korean Steak Bowl was so good, but please do try anything with the pickled red onions. Dude, the pickled red onions.
