Best Food to Order Before the Sounders-Crew MLS Cup Final - Eater Seattle

"Bothell’s popular brewpub — which had a concession at the Field Formerly Known As CenturyLink — is known for well-crafted dishes and extensive selection of beer. It’s currently offering a take-home “tailgate kit,” with Buffalo wings, tater tots, jumbo pretzels, and chili. There are also bottled cocktails and crowlers to go." - Gabe Guarente

Where to Get the Best Poutine in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"Bothell’s brewpub has a variety of well-crafted dishes to go along with an extensive selection of beer. Among the sides is poutine with brown veal gravy and Beecher’s cheese curds, a close relation to the various poutine’s that Bellevue sibling restaurant, John Howie Steak, was once well known for. A breakfast version also pops up on the weekend menu. Open for takeout and delivery." - Eater Staff

Picture biting into a perfectly crispy hot link corn dog with that snap of smoky, or a loaded poutine topped with a thick, seasoned hamburger patty that turns comfort food into an unforgettable meal. These are my two obsessions here, but honestly, everything on the menu hits the mark. The staff brings the same energy, treating you like they genuinely want you to love every bite. Fair warning: once you try this place, you’ll find yourself making excuses to come back, and that’s not a complaint, that’s a promise.

Another visit to Beardslee Public House and another exceptional experience. Time and time again, the chefs, staff, and bartenders perform. They make deliciously beautiful food from scratch and you can really tell. This visit I went with a friend to celebrate a bit achievement. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries. Wow! It wasn’t one bit greasy, so crunchy and fresh, and the chipotle sauce was outstanding. As always, the “fry sauce” and ranch were the correct dipping sauces for the fries. My friend ordered the lemon chicken and mashed potatoes and loved it. My friend’s father had a bit of a complicated order but the kitchen delivered and he enjoyed his burger. We also really enjoyed the mules (I ordered a regular one and my friend’s father got the peach and really liked it). If we didn’t have to drive we definitely would’ve had another round. But we saved it for next time. I’m slowly eating my way through the menu and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Also, the happy hour menu has wonderful food & drink options!

Jeff

Google
Solid upscale casual bar and grill with an abundance of drink options including a couple of non-alcoholic beer options that are *thankfully* not O’Doul’s. Happy hour until 6, a large screen tuned to sports, attentive courteous staff, and a solid menu make for a great dining experience. Burger options are a little more expensive but include choices that are not standard pub fare like a french onion dip smash burger. A mix of upscale and casual with a broad menu to fit most, they pleasantly accommodate larger groups, making Beardslee Public House a great choice if you’re considering where to go for a special occasion.

Google
Great food and a big place with a good variety of dining options, comfortable booths, big party tables, or outside seating. The food is fabulous especially the chop salad, pretzels, deviled eggs, tomato soup, and the 4-meat personal pizza. It's a great place for a drink or dinner. Excellent service too!

Neil H.

Google
It's a great pub house, hands down. Top notch food, service and atmosphere. Their in house brews are exceptional and varied. The food has been consistent and filling, with a good selection of apps, entrees and everything you'd want for a mixed group. Highly recommended for family, friends, or a quick business after hours hangout.

Google
I really like this place, which makes this disappointing to write. We came in around 7pm on a Monday night and sat in the bar area. It took about 10 minutes just to get menus. My blonde ale was completely flat and clearly bad, so I asked for a different beer. The server took it, then brought back the same flat beer, even missing a few sips. It was obviously the same drink. My partner’s French dip sandwich also came out burnt. To top it off, the bill charged us for both beers, and the wine was listed at $20 even though the menu shows $14. There’s also an automatic 20% gratuity, so there’s no way to reflect how bad the service was. One beer was eventually removed with a casual “whoops,” and we were told the wine price was correct. Worst experience I’ve had here and one of the worst I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. I’m bummed because I used to like Beardslee Public House, but after this, I won’t be back.

Google
Beardslee Public House is a great place to get high-quality food and drinks. The menu offers options from gourmet burgers to tasty jambalaya. Regardless of your preferences, in my experience, the food here has never disappointed. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, which makes for a more enjoyable and complete experience. I enjoyed the spacious, modern industrial atmosphere. There is a restaurant side that is more family friendly, and a bar area that is great for happy hour and/or watching the game with the fellas. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping in to enjoy great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Google
Went to Beardslee for Seattle Restaurant Week and while the pricing was great, the overall experience left a bit to be desired. The Caesar salad was pretty bland, though the smashed burger was solid and flavorful. The crème brûlée had an odd, overly thick consistency that made it hard to enjoy. Service felt unpolished—one staff member was on their phone while others were chatting nearby, which took away from the atmosphere. It wasn’t terrible, but not memorable either. Probably wouldn’t return.

Jim B.

Yelp
Food was pretty good, service was terrible, I asked twice for a water refill, never got it. There were 3 of us, one person didn't get their food until the other 2 were finished eating theirs. It was an Oops my bad I didn't order the other persons food attitude. I understand mistakes happen but the whole attitude was an oh well . He said come again, we will try to get it right next time. Nope won't be a next time. I do hope you treat your customers better than this! Its too bad looks like a nice place to return to. Also don't like the automatic 20% added to every bill. There is no incentive for good service.

Yelp
We like this place so much. It's only our second visit but I want other friends to join us next time... for happy hour! The atmosphere is welcoming, upbeat and spacious but warm. It's not loud but it feels festive. Our food was delicious, prepared well and timely. It's a restaurant where one can comfortably dine solo, with a small group or come with a large family. We saw there's a heated, outdoor patio that is also canine friendly. We plan to try it sometime. You should try it, too.

Yelp
I've been here twice now and had a great time! Came here with work friends for dinner and had some apps and a mocktail. Nachos and fries were so delicious! The spicy pear kamikaze mocktail tasted like a really good pastry. I came back with my husband for lunch and we had the garlic fries again (had to!). We also had jambalaya and the rigatoni. Both were hot and flavorful. We also had the creme brûlée, husband's favorite! As for drinks, I had the Koi Pond cocktail which came in a cute fish glass with some boba and fruits. Husband had the classic scratch margarita. Both of our drinks were some of the best we've had. Overall, this place has great food and drinks and vibes. I would love to come back. Happy eating!

Yelp
Came here for the happy hour and JUST as I had mentioned their poutine to friends, they changed the menu and guess who left... yep... the poutine (sad sigh) But we still had a blast trying out their smash burger and fries for happy hour and it was GLORIOUS now remember this is a smash burger not a juicy juicy burger which they have but it's just not on the happy hour. I also managed to try their lemon drop which was yummy and a great finish to my busy day. Service was friendly and the ambiance was very casual leave your worries at the door. Will be back!! PS please bring back the poutine

Yelp
Solid spot for dinner and grabbing drinks with your friends. Located near UW Bothell. I always come here for their Wagyu mushroom brie burger and it's always a 10/10. The Wagyu beef pairs so well with the brie, love that they have arugula in the burger, and the buns are toasted perfectly. We also tried a new dish which is the crispy chicken wings Szechuan style, this one was so good if you like sweet and sticky type wings. The wings are so crispy, I really liked it, wasn't too spicy.

Yelp
We were passing through. Sat at the bar. Bartender friendly and quick to serve us 20% automatically added to bill - minus a star for that. Food was ok.

Yelp
Brewery with some solid IPAs and saisons. 20% required service charge a slight bummer especially if you're just doing drinks. Service was basic, no checking on the table. Just water, order & hand the bill Will try the food next time and share an updated review!

Yelp
Amazing and positive vibe and it have outdoor seating so perfect place for outdoor seating . Food was nice I took quinoa pan cake which was nice especially the walnut and pepper sauce it's just quinoa pan cake was deep fried , was hoping if it can be shallow fried. Service was quick but they have 20% service charge already for 2 people. Which was a real bummer .

Yelp
Genric Restaurant at best. The fact the call themselves a "Public House" should be considered fraud. Oversizes menu let's them think they are a gastro pub. It's just another generic restaurant in look, service and taste. The local "craft beer" is fine and they will taste like their named profiles but won't win any real awards. The menu is a mix of unconnected dishes designed so you would find something but prepared without skill. What does tacos have to do with a public house? I think half their menu came from looking at a Jack In The Box menu. Brunch appears to be the only menu they put effort into. The restaurant also take part in price gouging by charges of 20% on your final bill. They undercharge menu prices and charge you a 20% tax because they can't cover minimum wage as the State of Washington.

Yelp
I had the Italian salad and it was great. My only wish is that they had pepperocini for the salad. My coworker had the smash burger and fries and it looked great. Highly recommend the happy hour lemon drop!

Yelp
Breakfast looks good and was presented well, but was a bit underwhelming for our group of 5. I enjoyed my classic eggs benny on their house made english muffin served with fried smashed potatoes. The spicy sausage lentil soup and classic breakfast were good! The Ranchero Skillet had minimal amount of chorizo and a lot of overcooked eggs. The malasadas were okay, mainly fried dough lacking flavor. The staff are friendly and our coffee cups and water glasses were always filled. It wasn't too loud, so we could easily chat at our table. This place is good for families and large groups.

Yelp
Late update here. Nice response from the GM, which I appreciate. All other aspects of the restaurant were great.

Yelp
Came here for brunch... Food: Deviled Eggs: Stout infused topped w/stout pickled mustard seeds. Very delicious! ($12) BPH Benes: shrimp, artichokes, cheesy, green chili w/ hollandaise sauce. Very flavorful, however, the potatoes were a little overcooked for me but definitely a feeling meal. ($19) Drink: PB&j cold brew, screwball PB whiskey, Chambord, house made coldbrew, PB cream. Strong and sweet. Hit the spot! ($12) Service: friendly and attentive. There's a 20 % gratuity charge. Ambiance: spacious and not too loud.

Yelp
Some friends and I were heading home from the East Side but were starving and decided to stop in here for some food. We were seated immediately and had a great server (I wish I could remember his name!). I ordered the mushroom brie burger and stuck with the regular side of fries, plus a side of ranch. I don't think I left a single crumb it was so good! The burger was cooked exactly how I wanted, and there was a perfect balance of mushroom and brie to give it an earthy, creamy feel without being too rich. I love arugula so that was an added bonus to get that on there. Bun was perfectly toasted as well. The burger was thick in a good way, so I stuck with using a fork and knife (my preferred way of eating burgers anyways) but another friend who got the smash burger committed to holding the burger until it was gone. The fries and ranch were superb. I loooove a crispy smushy fry, where it's fried perfectly but not so much that they shred your mouth or can't fold in half. I feel like describing these as smushy and limp are not doing it justice, but think Five Guys or Dick's Burgers' fries and this is in the same ballpark (if not better). Ranch was herby and so good. We decided to get the skillet cookie for dessert, which was tasty but we all thought it could have had a few more minutes in the oven to give the edges a little bit of crispiness but this would be great for folks who love the center of a gooey cookie. Overall we had a great experience and loved the food so I'll definitely be back again!

Yelp
I had a business lunch here about a month ago and was so pleased with the great customer service regarding my elimination diet! I was really stressed about attending this lunch since I had just been put on a really strict diet by my gastrologist, ideally I wouldn't eat out at all but this lunch had been planned for months arranging both of our schedules just so. I also hated to go and just awkwardly sit there and drink water. I called in advance and the person answering the phone was incredibly helpful and assured me they would be able to find something that fit into my very limited options. She even took the time to go over the menu with me on the phone and come up with a couple potential options just so I wouldn't look awkward at the lunch. The restaurant itself was spacious and comfortable, I really liked the layout. We were seated right away and our server was friendly and helpful with my dietary needs. We settled on a shrimp salad as being the safest option for me and it was really delicious. Fresh greens and plenty of delicious shrimp right on top. We ended up having a great lunch and it was so nice to not have to worry about the food! Definitely look forward to dining here again when I'm not as restricted so I can try some of their delicious menu items.

Yelp
I recently had my wedding reception at Beards Public House, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our special day even more memorable. The venue was beautiful, and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend them for any event! Good food, great service/staff, great accommodating ambiance!

Yelp
I wasn't totally sure what to expect from the reviews, but my FIL wanted to come here for his birthday, so we were seemingly at his mercy. He chose this spot because he was interested in their menu but also for their pet friendly lounge patio. It was not a particularly warm day, but the patio is covered and heated, so we remained quite comfortably toasty. And we were not forgotten about being "banished" outdoors. In fact, others came to sit outside as well, with and without dogs, and it seemed service was just as attentive outdoors as in. Our waitress was efficient and pleasant, and I think we were all pleased with our orders. We were there for happy hour and shared the nachos and the Buffalo cauliflower, both of which were crowd pleasers. I liked my margarita, and the other drinks around the table seemed to go down nicely. I appreciated that our waitress informed us upon paying our bill that a 20% gratuity was already included. We were happy with our visit and look forward to returning!

Yelp
Went with a larger party of 8 and got seats easily. They snuck us in at the end of happy hour so even though it was technically past they gave us HH pricing on our first round and apps. We got the sampler which was kicking! The eggs have just the right amount of Coleman's mustard and everyone loved the mushrooms. Brussels were a hit across the table so we ordered a 2nd round. The "small" wedge salad was pretty big and made well. Drinks were great! For round 2 we asked for spicy blood orange margaritas so they used a tequila with heat and boy were those good! The burger was cooked perfectly, fish and chips were big fish pieces, the filet was tender, the BPH salad was enormous. Service was great. Drinks were refilled and food came quickly.

Yelp
Checking in...cuz POUTINE! Was out running errands with the better half on Anniversary 31, and we grabbed lunch. Thought about stops between Lake Forest Park and Redmond, and both agreed 'Howie's House' always delivered. Jack waited on us, and he was an absolute pro. Listened to the next table launch into the Service Charge interview, and he delightfully said "I earn a great wage, and a good chunk of that charge comes to me. I'm very well compensated." and then it was back to talking about what else he could do for them. THAT is what you get when service is adequately compensated! Always clean, full of smiles, and if I could get that veal poutine gravy on tap, it would be perfect. Smash burger was great, learned I could get 'sub poutine for fries' , and a well balanced Pilsner prepped me for a nap. Wife had the mushroom, Brie wagyu burger and said it was the best burger she can remember having in a long time. Thanks BPH!

Yelp
Brunched here today with an extended group of family members. We hadn't patronized before and were excited to dine after learning it is part of the John Howie Steakhouse group. Unfortunately that is where the excitement ended. Menu had some good options and was excited to try the bottomless mimosa. Drinks took a bit to get but were good, including the Blackberry fizz and espresso martini. Breakfast was all served on time together which was nice. Poached eggs were good as was homemade English muffin. The "smashed" potatoes were terrible. All one could tasted was salt and the deep fry oil. I noticed no one in our party ate them. Bacon was super thin and super salty. Jam was disappointing too, runny. Ambience is blah... run of the mill chain restaurant feel... they need to put TV's all around the dining area, could be a great sports bar for the area, after all it is a "pub". Service was so so... I find that's usually what happens when restaurants have a built in 20% service fee. Our main server was professional but some of the expos were quite unprofessional looking. All in all, we won't be back. For 6 of us (& 5 meals as 2 of us shared) it was $250 for mediocre food, ok service and terrible potatoes. And bottomless mimosa?? maybe if they checked in more often, but only received 2 in 2 hours and I had to specifically ask for the 2nd.

Carrie C.

Yelp
$17 for corn dogs basically sums it up. Extremely overpriced for generic food. Nothing there has ever made me crave to go back. It's OK in a pinch, as long as someone else is picking up the tab.
google avatar

Jie G.

Yelp
We came here for a company offsite dinner. I ordered the fried chicken entree and it was AMAZING! It is extremely crispy outside and succulent, tender and flavorful, which is a perfect texture contrast for any fried chicken. Service was also top notch. I ordered a mocktail with non alcoholic tequila, passionfruit and lime. The drink itself was super refreshing delicious, but for some reason I could still feel the alcohol content. The server was nice enough to ask me if I need to change to another drink. Although I don't need another drink, I really appreciate their service.

Tiffany P.

Yelp
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but has really gone down hill lately. The service is horribly slow, our waiter constantly forgot things with our last visit. The poutine came with out gravy and the cheese curds weren't melted. My chicken was over cooked. The drinks are still great, and the wait staff is friendly. I think since the loves to a service fee instead of tipping, there's just no motivation to be great.
google avatar

Jon V.

Yelp
Watch out for the "20% service fee" on the all receipts. Had two beers and an appetizer. Automatic charged 20% service fee. Service was not great, food was not great, beer was ok. Definitely not worth "20% service fees." Don't force your customers to "tip" your employees, especially 20%, if anything $2-5 should be the max of "service tips."
google avatar

Yelp
Fabulous spot on rainy day with holiday decor and Santa! The food and drink are yummy. I had the tomato basil soup and it tasted like fresh roasted tomatoes. Delish.

Yelp
Headed to Beardslee Public house as a going away meal for a coworker. It was a bit of a drive from Kent, but it was well worth the drive. We were sat at this huge area in the back and it was fitting as we were having a great time talking it up. Our server Josh was incredible, he took care of every little detail, especially keeping an eye on our 2 year old. The bear was flavorful and cold, as well as the the other cocktails that the group ordered up. the food was out of this world, great flavor and hot. I know, it is pub faire, but this was on a whole other level. Water glasses were never empty, drink glasses were never empty and again the service was fantastic for our medium sized party. Got to give Beardslee's a try.

Yelp
We've been eating here for years, ever since they moved into the neighborhood. I can honestly say that the food has always been good (maybe not always amazing, but it's always going to be good). The service is pretty much always consistent as well, other than the occasional visit or two, but generally people seem happy to work there and it shows. I don't know why but their chicken seems to always be done well. Always super crispy, and the wings are some of the best I've had. Whatever they're doing there is working. The burgers are decent, maybe a little more expensive than they're worth, and they often fall apart in the middle of eating them, but generally I'm pretty happy with them. My last visit I had the smash burger and it was really good. They must get a lot of complaints about the 20% surcharge, because the servers mention it every single visit and they've had it for a couple of years I think. We're ok with it, but with the way that the food is also increasing in price, it might get to a point where we don't go there as often because those together make it unaffordable to eat there often. Overall Beardslee is one of those places that you don't really crave but you go there because you know it's going to be consistent, and that means a lot.

Yelp
Came here on a early Saturday afternoon with friends while visiting Seattle. The restaurant is very spacious and has outdoor seating. I ordered the smash burger with regular fries and sweet potatoes fries. The burger was very, very tasty. It had large pickles chopped inside with grilled onions. The meat was juicy. Sweet potatoes fries were cooked perfectly and the honey mustard was some of the best I've had. Service was awesome. Our server was prompt and very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Angela S.

Yelp
We had the nachos and lemon caper chicken. Both of them were amazing! I will totally be ordering both of those again! We also got the huckleberry lemonade, which was really good!
google avatar

Yelp
Attentive service! Outdoors fireplace set the mood. My jambalaya included chicken and sausage. I added the side of shrimp. Almost every bite included a full piece of shrimp. I recommend my dish to all! four of friends ordered the pizza. They weren't 'wow'd' by it. Said it was just decent. Everyone that ordered burgers heartily enjoyed them. They make their own whiskey and beer so our group had a pretty decent dinner and libations after a hard day. Tues is taco Tues and 25% off tequila. Weds offers a specific food dish and 25% off whiskey.

Yelp
The place was very nice and the service and food was amazing. All food was made from scratch. The price was a little high. The tip was included in all meals. I would go back ! !

Yelp
I want to be fair. I don't really like most pub food & I really haven't for a long time. I only eat it when I'm with people who insist on it. I understand that taste is subjective and I don't try to force people to only eat what I want when I go out. I just wish that people weren't so enamored with this kind of food. What this ends up meaning for me is I have to work hard to find something on the menu that I won't end up hating. I was successful here and found the jambalaya, which was excellent. I usually find the thing I'm going to like at these sort of spots by looking for the thing that wouldn't normally be regarded as pub food and I nailed it with the jambalaya. The space was honestly pretty cool & the service was good. A lot of people really like John Howie and I hear a lot of enthusiasm about his restaurants. I moved out of WA nearly 6 years ago now and I haven't tried the others but after I saw the note on the menu about the 20% service charge, I never will. This is part of the crap that made my family decide to leave WA after loving it and living there our entire lives. If you feel like restaurant staff should make the same wages as people who went to college or learned a trade & are laboring in their learned fields, just raise your prices accordingly & pay them what you think is fair. Don't pull this sneaky crap where you post a menu but add a massive, surprise surcharge that really impacts the bottom line & affordability of your offering. Those of us who actually worked very hard for tips at some point in our lives and were lucky to get 15% if we really hustled are just annoyed at this garbage. I carried thousands of pounds of luggage, adhered to extremely tight schedules all while fighting Seattle traffic & entertaining people I was driving to the airport back when I was working my way through school and more often than not, I was lucky to get a $2 tip on a $90 fare. Was that right or in line with tipping etiquette? No, but it is very fair if you work in the service industry to not just have a great gratuity as a forgone conclusion regardless of the level of service you provide. I had plenty of very generous tippers as well and who balanced things out. When I got repeat customers who were known crappy tippers, I provided less service. This is how it was meant to be and how it should still be. I've noticed that the level of service at every place I've eaten that pulls this crap is lower than at the places where servers know that if they work harder, they can make more. If you feel so strongly about this, just raise your prices & take the business hit from people who don't agree with you. Skip the self-righteous note on the menu and own it. I'm more likely to eat at a place who does that than a place that does the surcharge. I never return to those places & I spread the word & dock at least 2 stars on my reviews. By and large, people are over this nonsense.

Yelp
My first experience at Beardsley Public House last night for dinner! Great open space for bar side our server was phenomenal and his mustache was amazing!! We started off ordering a couple drinks lemon drop and Old Fashioned and a couple appies. Szechuan chicken wings - these are to die for! The sauce was so flavorful and delicious! We would have just stuck with ordering a couple side of wings!! These are a must try!! Crispy chicken skewers - We personally were not impressed just chicken on a stick with what seem to be like corn flake breading. Not our fav but maybe yours! We added hot sauce which helped them out a little!! Our main dishes we ordered Rigatoni Bolognese - I thought it was pretty decent and flavorful! Worth a try! My BF originally ordered the Lemon Caper Chicken which came out raw/pink in the middle and definitely not cooked through. We sent it back and had absolutely no issues doing so. From there he chose the Beef stroganoff he stated it needed to be doctor up a bit. Overall we had a great experience last night! My BF had been there a couple others times for drinks and appies.

Yelp
I'm going to start this off by saying how much I don't like giving three stars, I feel like it's not very helpful to readers, but if there was ever a three star-worthy restaurant, it would be Beardsley Public House. We came in for dinner the other night, just my husband and I, and the server was very prompt....at first. Came back a couple of times within the first three minutes and we hadn't had a chance to look at the menu. But then, they didn't come back for a long while. The menu itself is very broad, lots of great selections. I opted for the Grilled Cheese and Prosciutto and my husband had the Beef Stroganoff. My sandwich looked fantastic but, upon picking it up, it was actually a soggy mess. The Beef Stroganoff was basic. Our dessert, crème brûlée, was barely caramelized. We couldn't understand the prices of either our dinners, nor anything on the menu for that matter - my sandwich was $18 and the stroganoff was $29. The prices themselves wouldn't be a deal breaker, but then they add a 20% service charge as default, all of which goes to the restaurant itself, with the explanation of "providing industry leading compensation", "training for a successful career path", and the resulting "increase(d) labor cost". You would think the high cost would compensate for the need to do that. That said, two drinks and two dinners and one dessert cost us $100. If we were going to spend that on an average meal, we would have gone literally anywhere else. The menu is great (in theory), the food is okay, it's expensive. It's a solid three stars and diners should be aware of the pros and cons before going in.

Yelp
Stopped in for happy hour in the bar and was pleased with the variety of food and bev options . Enjoyed the nachos , quinoa cakes and a lemon drop (or few) . Our waiter was friendly and efficient and I was pleased to find plates and utensils on the tables (in the bar).

Yelp
We arrived early for our reservation, but they were fine seating us right away. They asked if we wanted to sit in the bar or dining room, and we chose a cozy table in the bar near the big stone fireplace. They have a great drink selection, with many beers and liquors crafted in house. The huckleberry lemonade was so yummy!! The server was an angel (literally, he was wearing angel wings). He made good recommendations - we got the pretzel and deviled eggs for appetizers, which came out pretty quickly. The pretzel came with mustard, cheese, and Ohmygosh honey butter so good! The deviled eggs are absolutely delicious. We also had rigatoni bolognese and the french dip - the rigatoni tasted homemade and the dip for the French dip was rich and tasty. We loved the pub atmosphere with top-notch food. Can't wait to go back!!

Yelp
Larry A. Killed it. Excellent service. Exceeded expectations. Thank you. Delish veggie burger, Cole slaw not so much (it's shredded carrots). Go for the fries ... these are the only ones worth eating. Next time: the stroganoff. Much as gracias.

Yelp
I braved the traffic to have dinner here with a friend recently. It exceeded my expectations! We stated with sharing the pretzel - always a sucker for carbs and it was very good with a couple different mustards to go with it. I had the French Dip. It was pretty massive and I didn't finish it, but it was very solid, as were the fries that came with it. My friend had some wine from what was a surprisingly food list. Service was attentive and the vibe overall was cozy. I would go back if I was in Bothell.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, amazing food, excellent service. Tried it for the first time and brought my parents and we all had a wonderful experience. Most definitely will be coming back!

Yelp
Great casual place for drinks and food! Large selection for drinks. I got the Ahu Tuna Sandwich, and that was a thick sandwich. It tasted delicious, and I got a side of brussel sprouts, which were cooked well with a lot of sauce (maybe could lighten up on that but overall good). The service of the place is good; I do wish they checked in sooner after getting the drinks order so that we could order our food sooner. There's a lot of parking available for this place. There's usually not a long wait for this place, so walking without a reservation is totally okay. Overall, I recommend trying this place if you're around the area!

Yelp
We came here today for brunch after buying a gift card at Costco so we could check the place out. We got there at 12:15 and were seated promptly. It wasn't too crowded but there were a decent amount of people watching the Seahawks game and enjoying some food. We got the pretzel to start and my husband got the pineapple mule to drink. I got the breakfast that came with scrambled eggs, toast, potatoes and your choice of bacon or sausage (I got bacon). My husband got the chicken and waffle and a side of bacon. Service was friendly and the food came out at a good pace. The pretzels came with mustard, cheese sauce, and a honey butter to dip them in. All were delicious but the cheese sauce and the honey butter were my favorite. My husband liked the honey butter so much he saved the rest for his chicken and waffle. My breakfast was pretty good but I wish the eggs didn't come with pepper in them because I'm not a fan of it. The potatoes were a touch undercooked but had good flavor. It was a big portion and I couldn't finish everything. My husband loved his chicken and waffle and ate the whole thing. I got to try a bite and thought it was good. The chicken was juicy and well cooked and the waffle went well with it. We will definitely be back to try out more of the menu.

Yelp
Beardslee Public House is our absolute go to when we aren't sure where to grab dinner. They have a great happy hour and the menu rotates often enough that I don't get tired of it. You can't go wrong with basically anything on the menu but some of my favorites are the pepperoni pizza, caesar salad, sweet potato fries with spicy ranch, basically any salad or any burger, and the eggs benedict and beignets from the brunch menu. As far as the drinks go, they have a delicious espresso martini. I like the cosmopolitan from the happy hour menu. For weekend brunch, the blackberry fizz is amazing. Service is amazing. They will remember you after your first time there. Service is always fast. We love sitting in the bar area - it's first come first serve and the service in that area is great and we've never had to wait for a spot in there. The bar area is pretty big. Beardslee has been our go to for years and it will continue to be for years to come.

Yelp
I've been eating at Beardslee Public House since 2019 when I first moved to Bothell and have enjoyed so many good meals and memories there. I hate to say it, but it's really gone downhill in the last 2 years. Prices have increased drastically, while food quality has gone way down. Service is slow, they are already out of items at 5 o clock during the start of dinner rush. I've been in contact with the manager after a bad experience last year and while he did what he could to make that particular meal right, the problems persist. High prices, bad food and a kitchen that can't keep up with the front of the house. The 20% service charge is annoying but understandable in today's restaurant landscape, but if they are going to impose this charge the food and service cannot leave anything to be desired, which it unfortunately does time after time. Best of luck Beardslee. I'm still rooting for you.

Yelp
I've been here many times. They offer a great happy hour with many food and beverage items. They have a wide variety of different menu options to choose from. I have yet to have a bad meal or drink when visiting.

Yelp
Great vibe, friendly staff, and a very good burger--juicy, flavorful, and well-made. The ambience is warm and inviting with a lively, modern pub feel that's perfect for a casual night out. Only downside was the parking--tight and limited. Still absolutely worth it!

Yelp
I came with a party of 9 moms for a weekend brunch for a short break from our littles. We chose to dine here because they offer bottomless mimosas. Well, after 3 refills of the mimosas, we noticed that they were avoiding to refill our mimosas. It took about 20 mins for each round after the 3rd mimosas. When they finally refill the mimosas, it was literally all juice. Don't offer bottomless when it's not.

Yelp
We had our year get-together here at Beardslee this time. It was a group of 8 people. We had some great time here. Absolutely loved the whole setup of this place. Service was terrific. They have some amazing cocktails and mocktails. Their food is so underrated. Plenty of choices and yummy food! Not sure how 4 hours went just like that there! This place is very large. You will never get that feeling from outside. It's well maintained as well. Big parking lot and a parking garage nearby! We thoroughly enjoyed this place! I am so sure that the folks will pick this place for next year's annual get-together as well! But before that I would definitely go back there just for the food again for sure!

Yelp
First of all, this was my first time at this establishment the service was amazing. As soon as I walked in, they greeted me with open arms. The drinks were amazing and Ashley was very helpful new products and very knowledgeable about menu which to me is very important especially since I'm from out of state she made me feel so comfortable and made me feel at home. I'll be honest was amazing. Nostalgia in this establishment is impeccable and I would highly ask for anyone who's in the area to come here and spend money.
