"With its good looks and regal food, this bright haunt is already a hot spot. Its hip, industrial-chic interior is modern and plain gorgeous, with hanging green plants, white painted pipes and exposed brick. Incredibly fresh, creative Californian fare reigns supreme on this menu, and the dishes turned out are well-balanced and neatly executed. Try the delicate pickled fritto misto, a crispy tempura mix of rotating, seasonal vegetables (think sweet potatoes, okra, or cauliflower) paired with a vibrant pink beet “aïoli” made from aquafaba. Another crowd favorite is the juicy half chicken from the hearth, served with zucchini purée, roasted baby squash and basil oil.The Tobacco Road, infused with white oak smoke, is their updated take on the Old Fashioned." - Michelin Inspector

For some reason, I didn’t find it very interesting to see the vegetarian options. I asked for the watermelon drink, but it was very underwhelming, and I had to switch it to a wine. The service was impeccable and the waiters were very attentive, but that’s because they were only three of us in the restaurant. I think this restaurant can do better with slightly more upkeep and the change of the menu.eg it was only one option for the dessert. The drinks can be looked at as well because of their quite pricey. If you’re introvert, this place is for you.

Had brunch here today and the food and drinks were delicious! Our drinks came out super fast, tasted great and were very visually appealing. Food came out pretty quickly and we basically licked our plates clean! On top of great food and drinks, the atmosphere of this place…just wow!

Had a wonderful dinner here and all the food was so fresh and delicious. We loved that there were so many options full of veggies - we had the melon salad, Thai style noodles, and the whole fish was to die for. The staff was incredibly friendly and wonderful. The only thing was I felt that the chocolate mousse for dessert was just way too sweet for me. My husband liked it though.

Such a cute spot! Visited for dinner with friends. They take reservations, we had a couple minutes wait time before out table was ready for us. I wish I had gotten our waiters name, she was phenomenal. Great food recommendations, restaurants in the area, and all together energetic friendly personality. Drinks were great, not to strong or sugary. Food was so good. Absolutely recommend the scallops. Our table loved the Papas Bravas (was missing flavor for me). You will stay well hydrated here 😅. As soon as our water glasses were empty we had someone coming to fill them right away. Parking wasn't too bad on a buys Friday night.

Google
Good brunch location. Perfect to hangout with your friends. Chill vibes. Good music. Nice ambience. But slow service, only one bar tender and nobody was helping her. Drinks took quite a long time to arrive. Love is love was my favorite drink. We ordered the Benedict pizza and the burger, both were really tasty. Besides the slow service one bathroom was very dirty (poop). Not sure if I will come back.

Google
Food was delicious!! We’ve been trying to go here forever. I think their hours aren’t always updated on google. Another time we were told the restaurant was fully booked-host wasn’t the nicest. This time around the host was very sweet but forgot about us(we were waiting at the bar). She comped our apps to make up for it, but then our server added it to the bill. He changed it for us in the end. Although the service was a little off, we loved the food and the atmosphere and will be going back! Make sure to make a reservation.

Google
Gosh, I wanted to like this restaurant so badly! I ordered a burger with sweet potato fries - it was delivered with a salad and I was told the sweet potato fries would come out soon. 40 minutes later and multiple times asking, I was given a bowl of boiled potatoes. When I asked about this, they informed me that they ran out of sweet potatoes and forgot to tell me. I really feel like a place that charges this much should deliver somewhat decent service. Such a bummer....

Google
It is a beautiful restaurant located in a clean and nice neighborhood. We had our brunch in outdoor seating. Drinks and food were both great. The only thing that could be improved was the food preparation lead time - we waited for 40 minutes for the dishes to be served. It was Sunday noon and kitchen was backlogged badly.

Yelp
Adorable restaurant. The restaurant was picture perfect, the service was great and the food was amazing.

Yelp
I've heard good things about Beast and Bounty over the years, so there was a lot of build up before trying it. I was a little worried it wouldn't live up to the hype, but it met and exceeded my expectations! It helps to go in knowing that everything will be a la carte. That's just the way their menu is set up. They also have a menu that changes seasonally for both food and drinks. The atmosphere is really fun and modern. It's nicely decorated and has clearly been planned out very carefully. The drinks are fantastic! Really good cocktails. I would come back just for a drink and appetizer. My husband and I ordered with the plan to split everything. We got the Parker House rolls- yummy! We ordered the Brussels sprouts which were generously dressed with balsamic, making them pretty zingy! The butternut squash was beautifully sweet and smooth. It countered acted the super savory steak, , mushrooms and au gratin potatoes. We were too full for dessert, but it was still a great date night!

Yelp
One of my favorite places in town! Great decor, delicious food and cool vibe. It felt like B&B were understaffed on Saturday 11/30. We popped in around 7:30. We waited at the hostess station for a good 10 minutes. Two wait staff greeted us but admitted they didn't know how to use the seating software. They were kind and I appreciated them stepping over to greet us. We decided to sit at the bar. The two bartenders were obviously slammed. Since we had been drinking earlier, we opted for club sodas with lime. They arrived midway through our meal. Our pizza order also got lost, so at one point one of the bartenders went back to the cooking area to see what was happening. About 10 minutes later a Luke warm pizza was delivered to us. This isn't normal for this restaurant, which is usually a well oiled machine.

Yelp
5 stars for how cute the vibes are in here, 2 stars for the food. My friend recommended that I try this place since she had a great experience here over 5 years ago. It was a breeze making an online reservation for Sat night. The plants were beautiful and the colors, decor and bar looked amazing. Pretty loud so kind of hard to have a conversation. The staff were pretty nice and helpful except we didn't get any water refills the whole visit. Where they fell short was the food - got the margherita pizza with prosciutto added. It was extremely soft and cold and the cheese would break and slide off each slice I pulled. It was also very salty. We also got the Mary's Woodfired Chicken which was pretty dry and supposedly was supposed to have some kind of truffle flavor but there was no truffle taste at all. Strangely, when I check their online menu now the description doesn't mention truffle, so that doesn't match the menu at the restaurant...hmm, odd. The octopus appetizer was ok but better than the entrees.

Yelp
Whether I would recommend this place has everything to do with your personality and the occasion. The restaurant is highly self important. The service was great! The ambiance was nice but also cliche trendy. I had the breakfast sandwich. It was good, I can say it tasted like quality ingredients were used but it was nothing to write home about. If you want to impress someone (including yourself) who is a starry eyed label type this is your place. If you want to pay a reasonable price for a pretty good meal go somewhere else.

Yelp
10/10 would 100% recommend. Went for my sisters birthday Service was top tier. We shut the place down. Honestly for what we got the price was not bad at all and definitely worth it. It's giving very demure lol the manager on was sweet and he gave her a wonderful tasting glass of rosé. I mean the decor met my expectations. I can't wait to go back and I see you guys have a brunch. Definitely on the return list for sure!

Yelp
This was our first time here! We've been looking forward to coming here for awhile. I want to start out by saying it was VERY GOOD!! The service, atmosphere, and food was amazing. This is just off my personal preference, which tends to run on the cheaper end. They were so sweet to give us a complimentary glass of champagne when we arrived for an anniversary! We ordered the octopus, peach burrata, and burger. I missed getting a picture of the octopus since we devoured it in seconds. It was so flavorful and tender. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Unfortunately, the peach burrata was never given to us but also not on the bill. So we think the server just missed it which was fine by the end since we were full. The hamburger and sweet potato fried tasted like it was homemade (IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE). So juicy, flavorful, and tender. We split it and it was the perfect portion. Again, the service was amazing and attentive just forgot to put in our peach and burrata which was a bummer since we heard so many good things about it. With two glasses of wine, the octopus, and burger it totaled to $85 but we also had a $25 discount. I just feel like it's pretty pricey for what you get. glasses of wine, the octopus, and burger it totaled to $85 but we also had a $25 discount. I just feel like it's pretty pricey for what you get.

Yelp
Went for a party brunch. Although they forgot one of our orders, the vibe there is super cute. They didn't allow us to bring any decor as they said there was "no room." We were able to bring an outside cake and they cut it for us. I got the overnight oats and it was good but the peanut butter was very overpowering. 3/5

Yelp
I was very excited to try this place given the reviews. Our waitress was nice but when we asked questions I felt more confused. 1st the menu list certain things but leave others off. I had no idea what a Dutch baby was and when we asked she said it was a burnt pancake in a cast iron . I decided to order the Savory option thinking I was just getting chicken but it came with the "burnt pancake". That was actually really good but the chicken was burnt and had zero flavor. My sister had barely cooked soggy bacon on hers with toast that exfoliated the roof of her moth making it impossible to eat. They serve room temp tap water which was different. The place itself was beautiful and I wish I could have tried on of the beautiful pictures here on yelp but I couldn't find on the menu since it was confusing. The drink was good but it was $30 for 2! Overall I don't think I'd ever go back.

Yelp
Came here with super high expectations after looking at some of the photos of the food and some of the hype. Definitely disappointed overall with the food and drinks provided. A strong hipster vibe (feature or bug depending on your preference) - lots of leather, steel, dark brooding colors in their decor. Staff is friendly but a bit inefficient on a weekday night. We were able to get everything we needed in the end as far as service goes. The food - the menu is very chaotic - I think they were trying to do too much with their eclectic farm-to-table fresh/seafood/burger/pizza joint vibe. Everything is a bit on the expensive side, and even though we ended up trying nearly all of their appetizers and nearly half of the entrees w/ our large group, no one's meal particularly stood out. Even the very-highly-priced steak was tasty and cooked correctly, but the small side of potatoes and overall small-appearing steak hardly justified the high cost. Appetizers were okay - hummus was decent, the bread rolls felt like they were off of a shelf at the market, and the oysters were standard oysters. Again, everything was *fine*, but definitely nothing that would pair w/ the elevated dining experience that they are trying to market. Drinks were overpriced and watery. Old fashioned was trying to be creative w/ some alternative flavors but was a let down as well. Beers were fine. Dessert was incredibly disappointing - the only thing they had were fruit tarts, and they felt like they were bought off the bakery at your chain supermarket. Again, not worth it overall. Located in a very happening-area in midtown. Parking is atrocious and almost always paid. No free nearby lot. Plenty of nearby shops if you're looking to shop around.

Yelp
I wanted to go out to breakfast with one on my friends and he suggested this place. I remember hearing about it but never went to the place. I was glad to try it. I made reservations but it was for 10AM which is when they open. We were the first in there so we really didn't need reservations but later on we would of. I got pretty busy later on and this was a Saturday morning. I really like the look of the place. Really modern and open. Nice and pretty. Good for a girls meet up since there was a large table with ten girls next to us. Our waitress came over to give us some water and i asked what she recommends for a first timer. The breakfast burger, Benedict Pizza , Everything Bagel and the Salmon Hash. more or less everything is great here per the waitress. I asked if they had hot chocolate and she didn't think they did but went to find out. She came back and said no. I asked if the orange juice was fresh squeezed and it is. I got that. My friend got the Standard with eggs over easy. When he got them the eggs were over well. He didn't want to worry about it. I mentioned it and the waitress offered to re-do them but he told her not to worry about it. I got the Salmon hash which was pretty good. It was different and I never had this. As I was eating I noticed my bowl was chipped. My buddy said maybe that was the decor. yeah no. I shoed the waitress and she noted it but nothing more. Kind of weird. The kitchen staff should of noticed it. Someone could of gotten cut. If it just happened it could be in my dish. Anyway. I still liked this place and will be back again. Hopefully it will be better. Still good food. I will have to try that benedict pizza.

Yelp
At Beast and Bounty, every aspect of our dining experience was exceptional. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality from the attentive staff. The service was impressively prompt, yet it never felt rushed. Our dishes arrived at the perfect intervals, allowing us to savor each course without any long waits. The staff's efficiency enhanced our overall enjoyment of the meal. Since their menu changes periodically, it allows for a different culinary experience on every visit. Now, let's talk about the food. Each dish was a work of art, carefully crafted with a balance of flavors and textures that left us craving more. On this particular visit, as a starter we tried their grilled octopus, Parker house rolls and oven roasted broccoli. These were the perfect starters to our main courses. Our main courses were Prime New York Striploin and Pan Roasted Halibut. Both entrees were a walk down flavor town. The striploin was prepared perfectly and the halibut was cooked right. With a good choice of entrees and starters, they lacked in the dessert department. Only two available desserts on our visit and they were basic and not something memorable. Located on a corner of R and17th street, Beast and Bounty is more than just a restaurant--it's a culinary haven where exceptional food, fast service, and pleasant staff come together to create an unforgettable dining experience.

Yelp
My husband and I recently visited Beast and Bounty on a Sunday after church. The decor and atmosphere is always so beautiful. To our surprise there was no wait. We opted for the eggs Benedict pizza and the Dutch baby, both of which were delicious choices. The food was incredibly comforting and delicious, hitting all the right notes. While the Dutch baby was slightly over-toasted for my liking, it still was so good!Overall, a perfect Sunday brunch experience.

Yelp
+ Love the plant decor! + server was friendly and nice + my pizza was pretty good, very filling and I would say enough for 2 people - charges a 20% fee for big party's. We had a party of 6, came out to be $32.60 alone

Jeanette R.

Yelp
Would be 5 stars if service was better.... I hate reviews like this. I'm on a work trip, so I want to get dinner alone, and have done thing tasty. I sit at the bar, where I'm completely ignored. No one else is there, but, bartender is busy making drinks for tables. Whoa! Hold the phone. A couple comes in and sits at the bar. They're getting really great service and attention. Here is where I'm sorry I'm a middle aged female. Whatever. I ordered an old fashioned and Mary's chicken. All of it was good, tasty, etc Would I return? Probably not. I think I can find better service when I'm ordering $40 chicken.

Yelp
A beautiful restaurant in Sacramento. We came in for the Chefs tasting menu but they recently discontinued it as they are revamping that offering. The chef had great creativity on the menu and a restaurant has a beautiful interior. We tried several dishes. The Kale salad was excellent and huge, perfect for sharing. The grilled octopus was flavorful and had a great bite with the spice. The Papas Bravas was surprisingly better than most we had in Barcelona last week. Ended with the lamb campanelle, it had great flavor and a unique noodle. Only let down was the lamb was a little cold, probably needed another minute or two in the sauce before plating. They also have a bar happy hour that ends at 6:00 and the burgers being served there looked amazing. Make sure to pay for parking as well. We will be back when the tasting menu returns.

Dejanae A.

Yelp
I enjoyed the food and portion sizes. In my opinion the reviews on IG were overhyped but I have nothing bad to say. Server was nice but could have come by our table a little more often since they weren't busy. The breakfast sandwich was a bit messy and so much food that I didn't finish it which isn't a bad problem to have, especially for the price. The space was super cute and we had a nice brunch.

Catalina S.

Yelp
Food and ambiance was great! This was my first time trying and OMG the drinks! All beautifully made and tasted amazing kudos to the bartender! Definitely would recommend.

Erin M.

Yelp
Unfortunately, this place is not for me. My 1st time here was a few months after they opened. Understanding there are growing pains. I went back in September. We sat outside and it was lovely. So was the bottle of wine, but that's where it ends for me. I'm a foodie of all cuisines and understand flavor profile and mixture. We ordered the octopus and pork chop. The food is a fusion of cultures that doesn't taste well blended. The octopus presentation was pitiful on a huge plate with only 1 tenacle on the corner. I'm still trying to figure out the infused culture of food--olives, corn, chorizo. The pork chop was hard to determine if it was pork. It was already sliced off the bone, again with a concoction that was unappealing visually and tasteful. No doubt the chefs are creative, but I hope they hone it in and focus. I should of just ordered the pizza.

Michelle C.

Yelp
- bread service was good expensive ($7) for what it was; would still order it again. - my chicken had a good blend of flavors and was a good entree size. my partner's eggplant katsu wasn't an entree size; that's fine, but I wish the bounty part of the menu clarified that (rice being separated on a different line from powder made us think there was rice with the dish). - the server was GREAT, really sweet. however, he was the ONLY server in a packed restaurant. I could tell he was trying his best but management shouldn't have put him and the customers in that position. service was really slow, as a result. I would come again after some time has passed - good location + good ambiance. I wouldn't rush back - the food was fine but didn't WOW me.

Amy L.

Yelp
One of the best burgers of my life, hands down. It was so juicy and cooked perfectly to medium raw, it was basically exhaled. It came out within 5 minutes and the service was so fast. I'm really impressed and the entire atmosphere is a pleasant and modern. Exceptional meal. (The salad dressing was really salty but besides that, so damn good)

Leslie M.

Yelp
Good service, lovely interior and excellent food sum it all up. Hands down some of the best food! Mixed greens- hazelnuts were a nice and unexpected touch. Vinaigrette just had the perfect tanginess. Pumpkin hummus- seasonal item. Tasted more like pumpkin puree. Not my favorite but the bread that it was served with was just absolute perfection. Bread is perfectly puffy you won't regret it. Brussel sprouts - 5/5, the textured and flavors in this dish were just amazing. Spicy pizza- 5/5

Spencer Q.

Yelp
Food: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Overall: Pretty standard fare for food. Would I come back: Yes I'd give it a second try and try something else on the menu. The extended review... Food: Arroz Caldo - 3.5/5 - I was definitely excited by what was in the description. I think it was almost there but something was missing although I can't put my finger on it. Each of the elements were tasty but perhaps together there was something about it that I can't explain. Service: 4/5 - Friendly and attentive service. Ambiance: 5/5 - A very cute ambiance both inside and out.

Vivian P.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with unique menu that changes every few months! Not pictured, but the cocktail I got was great. The menu is diverse and unique, and it was hard to pick! We got the potatoes as an appetizer and it was amazing - so crispy and the aioli it came with was perfect. I got the vegan carbonara (and my waiter did warn me it was very different than conventional carbonara). It was very different - not my favorite but good! I also got to the try the chicken which was super flavorful and juicy. I highly recommend this place for a cute date night or dinner with friends.

Jax T.

Yelp
We had a date night at @beastandbounty916. We enjoyed the roasted potatoes, comforting vegetable pasta and rich, creamy chocolate mousse for dessert... and wine, hehe... yum. instagram: jax.vegan.eats

Cathy H.

Yelp
This is a lovely farm to table restaurant. I've come here multiple times - for happy hour and for dinner. Everything here is delicious so you can't go wrong. Some of my favorites: pan roasted halibut (comes with a Tom kha broth that is amazing!), grilled octopus (super soft), papas bravas (crispy smashed potatos). The service is attentive though the food may take a little while to get served. It has a great ambiance so you can have a conversation with your friends / family / partner without having to speak very loudly. Prices are commensurate with the quality of the food. Highly recommend if you're looking for a restaurant with great food, drinks, vibes, and decor!

Rochelle S.

Yelp
I always see Beast and Bounty when we get ice cream and wanted to go for brunch. Went here after Church without reservation but got seated right away! Place is aesthetic AF. Love the industrial chic, perfect for brunch with the girls, gays, they/them. Got 3 different brunch dish. Food was good, I think we over ordered.mimosa was yummy but again, the place is perfect for instagramable moments. Will try their dinner and see if it's also a vibe. I bet it is.

Katherine T.

Yelp
Visited a friend in Sacramento and we got brunch at Beast and Bounty, which is in quite a cute area of Sacramento. There is a paid parking lot right next to the restaurant and it's $3 an hour (pay through machine or through the app/website). I'm personally not a huge breakfast person because I don't have much of an appetite in the mornings, so I ordered the overnight oats ($14). Honestly, the oats were delicious, the coconut flakes, macadamia nuts, bananas, and blueberries gave a large variety of textures and flavors that all went together quite well. The restaurant is also quite cute inside, but I docked a star because of the slow service and inattentive waiters.

Amanda Z.

Yelp
Really cool vibe and atmosphere! Went to a baby shower here and loved it the food was so yummy too. I had the salmon hash which was so fresh and healthy tasting

Donna G.

Yelp
Space was loud and uncomfortable. Food was not good. Burger not cooked to order. Farmed salmon had mushy texture. Octopus appetizer was mostly mayonnaise

Sylvia D.

Yelp
What a wonderful surprise!! Walked to this great place today! Delicious foods, great service and awesome ambiance! Yadi was attentive and recommended the best things! We will definitely be back for dinner!! Already thinking of bringing our family here! Thank you!

Ali Č.

Yelp
This was one of my first stops when I moved to Sacramento and it's still one of my favorites. Both brunch and dinner are incredible showcases of local farmers and delicious cooking methods. Their woodfired oven is always pumping out goodies (like the breakfast pizza omg) and their cocktail program is so divine. If it were not 10:30am I would be thinking about their earl grey gin cocktail already Such a beautiful space in the heart of Midtown!

Arthur T.

Yelp
Came by for a brunch meal on the weekend with a reservation. For drinks: -get up get down - not good -yuzuzme - super good -hazy IPA - standard The benedict pizza was really good and unique. The burger was below average. Bread was dry and ratio wasn't there. Potatoes weren't hot. Emily was friendly and attentive during our entire meal. Brought us complimentary donut holes since we were near the last ones there (so I'm assuming they were going to toss it anyways). Wasn't anything special...a bit dry. Decor is really nice here. High ceilings + plants. Really comfortable feel. I believe they have outdoor seating as well. Street parking only.

Celeste B.

Yelp
This is a really cute spot. Perfect location near the Ice Blocks with plenty of parking. I ordered the Everything bagel which is basically a benedict with prosciutto, spinach, avocado and hollandaise...delicious!! I ordered a drink as well which was pretty good. Love the atmosphere but the service could be better as we didn't see our server much. Maybe next time we'll have a better experience.

Sarah T.

Yelp
Came here for brunch and was definitely mind blown by the food, service, and ambiance! The restaurant itself is so vibrant and has such a unique style for its decor. It definitely offered many opportunities for photos of not just the food. In terms of parking, either park for free on the street or pay to park in the lot nearby. Should be pretty simple. In terms of food, I got the Arroz Caldo, which was recommended to me by multiple friends. I usually don't like duck too much but WOW! This dish was amazing! The duck skin came perfectly crispy, which was great with the rice which had a consistency that was slightly thicker than congee. The duck was marinated so well and just fell right off the bone. The lemon that comes with the dish adds just the right amount of acidity to give the dish some brightness and freshness. Absolutely would recommend and definitely have not had anything like it anywhere else. As for the service, they were super attentive and came to check on us often. Overall, a fantastic experience and I cannot wait to come back!!

Lauren S.

Yelp
This is a hard review to write as there are so many great things, but unfortunately so many so so things about Beast and Bounty. For starters, the food is always excellent. The flavors in every dish are fantastic, and the wood fired oven just makes so many things taste so good. The parker house rolls with the butter and maldon salt...delish. Any of the salads they have are always amazing. The atmosphere is great as it's a really cool restaurant with great lighting. Every time we go there is something off with the service. We went for a birthday last year and the waiter spilled and shattered a wine glass on the birthday girl's back...he apologized and that was that. They didn't comp the drink or even the dessert...we didn't expect a bunch of free things but when you shattered a wine glass on someone's back and it's your fault, you'd think they would want to make it right. When I went last month we kept having to ask for serving utensils because we were sharing all the food. When we ask they would bring 1 spoon or 1 fork as if they were low on serving utensils...it was so weird. If you are fine with okay service, then I would recommend as I am never disappointed with the food.

Emily H.

Yelp
It PAINS me to write this. I *love* the atmosphere and everyone who has ever served us there. You were my favorite vegan-friendly restaurant in NorCal (including SF). I was at the soft opening, I hosted my best friend's $600 b-day dinner there last week, we rented it fully out in December for a corporate holiday party, And I spend many so many dinners there people now give me gift certificates to it. As a plant-based (vegan) eater also married to a "near vegan", we were *thrilled* when this gorgeous hot spot opened, promising equal treatment to vegan and meat eaters. It's in their name. Beast and Bounty. But, they've slipped. *Far*: 100% of their entrees are meat (see pic). AND their remaining "just put some appetizers together" options are not great or consistent. (And there's no protein!) (Rolls + Brussels + kale salad are a one-note dinner.) Last night's "cast iron Brussels" were so hard and raw I had to send them back (a first for me in all my dining history). When they returned, they were barely okay (see pic). Recommendations for your Spring menu: - 50% entrees for plant-based eaters (100% of diners can eat them and I have plenty of meat-eating friends who also eat vegan when they go out). - Cook protein-based meals for vegans *like you used to*: pizzas, stir fries, pastas, curries, fancy veg burgers...using tempeh, tofu, beans, legumes, seitan, a million delicious nut-based cheeses... Ps. Your one vegan (the crumble) dessert is waaaay too sugary.

Gloria N.

Yelp
The wait for our meal that was a prefix meal shouldn't take 2.5hrs for 4 very small dishes. Truly disappointing service as our waitress didn't bother to check in with us. We wanted to celebrate their last open day and food was not good at all. Felt like the food being served was like they were cleaning out their fridge. Handkerchief pasta mushroom was salty and cold. Beef Wellington was cold and beef was dry. So disappointing that this will be my last memory of them as they close their doors.

Aliya T.

Yelp
I came here to treat my mom out for dinner. A little disappointing considering the good reviews and potential for this place. We came to here pretty early, around opening. We ordered a steak and a pizza, I asked for the pizza to come with pepperonis. We waited for what seemed like a long time considering it looked like all the cooks were there and there were only 2-3 other tables and the place wasnt even packed. When the food came out my pizza didn't have pepperoni on it, the server didn't catch it until I said something. They did offer for me to take it home and remade the pizza pretty quickly. I can't say I was blown away and not sure I would come here again considering for the price point and service, I can go to another restaurant and get a better meal/customer service.

Yelp
This review is overdue. My friends and I visited Beast + Bounty on Saturday, 8/26/23, for an early dinner. We decided to order and share the following: *Summer Melons *Potatoes *Short Rib Pappardelle *Mixed Greens Salad *Salumi Pizza First and foremost - presentation! Each plate was presented beautifully. I even loved the silverware and plates. Not only that, all of the food was flavorful, delightful, and fresh in quality. What I enjoyed the most was the Short Rib Pappardelle and the Salumi Pizza. Dylan was our server during the visit. His service exceeded expectations in terms of friendliness, hospitality, and attentiveness. He made the dining experience more enjoyable. The inside of the restaurant was beyond gorgeous. There were a lot of vibrant colors and beautiful plants. Beast + Bounty is beyond spectacular and I highly recommend coming here.

Yelp
I've been here twice, my first experience was not the best due to poor customer service. But that was a year ago, I decided to give them another chance and I am definitely glad I did. Food was delicious. Specifically the summer squash pizza. The only downside was there was absolutely no hot sauce or anything spicy. I know some people don't mind but I'm a hot sauce girly. Our waitress es very attentive. Tables are really small but the ambiance overall is on point. Reasonable prices too. Hummus doesn't look like much but it was actually really delicious. Pita came out warm fluffy and thick.

Yelp
Online menu on their website today showed sea bass as an entree , and peaches with burrata as a starter. No sea bass tonight and no peaches. The printed menu at the restaurant still showed peaches.??? Server said we don't have sea bass even though their online menu said they did today. I had salmon, well cooked but a tiny entree. Now i am off to get ice cream at Handels as I am still hungry. (4'10, 100lbs) not a huge eater. Skip this place!!!

Yelp
Loved Beast and Bounty! The cocktails were great! (Matteo's espresso martini was a 5/5) I loved the ambiance of the restaurant! The Salumi pizza (with a side of hot honey) was sensational & I'm sad I don't live nearby to get one whenever I want. I didn't like the Caesar salad but that was the only thing that I didn't love. The staff and service was great.

Yelp
First time at Beast and Bounty today, and it was lovely! My friends and I had a reservation for Saturday at 10:30 am, but I think there was also plenty of room for walk-ins. We were first seated at a table that was too large for our group of 4, but the host kindly moved us when we asked. I ordered the Beverly Hills juice and overnight oats. The juice was delicious--very without being too sweet. The oats were also very good. They were mixed with chia seeds and fruit, making it a filling meal. I'd love to return sometime to try their dinner options! I'm also itching to try the Filipino food on their brunch menu, since those aren't options you see very often at a brunch place.

Yelp
This place is pretty great. We sat at the bar because it was incredibly busy. The bartender was incredibly kind (and cute) and he answered all of our questions that we had. The restaurant was cute and quaint. The portions were actually perfect food wise and still left you wanting to come back and try more. Get there early for a table and try their craft cocktails. Food was incredible and fresh and had tons of options. I unfortunately can be a picky eater and felt that I had limited options, but I loved trying my friends food options and expanding my palate!

Yelp
We came here for dinner when visiting Sacramento, and it was wonderful. The food is creative and varied while also having staples like pizza and pasta. We tried two of their vegan dishes, crispy rice with mushrooms and celery root congee, and we had one of their homemade pastas with lamb. I was especially blown away by the two vegan options and would happily order those again. If you are looking for an exceptional restaurant that can support multiple food restrictions and preferences, I recommend giving this place a try.

Yelp
Great place, nice ambiance and good food! I came into town and had reservations here. The indoor was beautifully done with lots of natural light. We got a few items to share and all were delicious. The mushroom tacos were amazing as was the shashunka. We also ended the meal with a PB and banana donut, perfect touch at the end.

Yelp
Best oatmeal I've had. It's chose seeds with oats some caramel sauce and some other sweet creamy sauce. Overall, the service was good and fast.

Yelp
I recently met a friend here for weekend pre-dinner drinks. The staff and service are excellent. The Betty White cocktail was delectable. Lavender lemonade + something clear and boozy. Florals can scare the best of us, but in my best Bea Arthur, I'd say...like brains in St. Olaf, the cocktail's lavender was barely detectable. My friend, let's call her Rue, went with a cinnamon washed whiskey, which tasted like Christmas in a glass. We snacked on patatas bravas and brussels, both of which were delish. Our friendly barkeeps kept the cocktails flowing. We'll be back next time for a full meal!
