First time here, and WOW I loved it! Such a gem, the espresso martini I had was perfect and smooth! (Perfect level of froth) I am huge on Aesthetics and hospitality, both 10/10. felt very retro & cozy. The crowd here matches the vibe well, perfect place for groups & date night spot to grab a drink and in between rounds or start of the night. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I play attention to every little detail lol and loved it. Definitely recommending this spot to my friends.

I had my birthday party here this weekend and it was amazing! The big room has a stage which was so fun and they have 4 mics so everyone can get involved. It was the best time!! Drinks were good, service was great and it’s super chic and cute inside- I HIGHLY recommend for your next event! As an avid karaoke girl, this was top tier!

Gyre [Spelling?!] the general manger took extremely good care of me & my colleagues for our work Holiday party! Food was great, Service was Stellar & the selection of Kareoke tracks had everything including GREEK MUSIC!!?! Great night!

My friends and I had a great night here! I love that Beatbox puts a new spin on karaoke, the "fill in the blanks" lyrics game was super fun. The furniture, decor, and overall vibe are top notch. The food is really good too, we had the karaoke fries, pigs in a blanket, and croquettes; I'd recommend all three.

We booked Beatbox Karaoke for my wife’s birthday, and honestly, it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs. A few things that really stood out: we were having such a great time that we asked to extend our session, and they let us do it multiple times without any hassle, keeping the party going exactly as long as we wanted. I had a cake delivered ahead of time, and the team took care of it without me even having to ask. It was already waiting for us when we needed it. They even surprised us with champagne, which was such a thoughtful touch that made the night feel extra special. The food and drinks were genuinely good (not an afterthought like at some karaoke spots), and the tech setup was impressive with crisp sound, easy-to-use song selection, and a clean, sleek aesthetic that sets Beatbox apart from the typical karaoke dive. The rooms felt fresh, modern, and elevated. If you’re looking for a karaoke experience in NYC that actually delivers on hospitality, atmosphere, and fun, this is it. Had a small birthday event here and it was the perfect venue for it. The atmosphere is cool and vibey and the lounge area is great for pictures with your party. The drinks were well made and they even had zero proof mocktail options which I appreciate because I don’t drink. The food was mostly great too. With the package we chose we got 3 snack options included so we tried the Raclette croquettes, nachos, and pigs in a blanket. The croquettes were perfectly fried and seasoned SO well, and the nachos were delicious but to be fair and transparent the pigs in a blanket were not our favorite item. They seemed a little overcooked/dry but perhaps it was on off night for that particular item. As for the karaoke, we had so much fun singing along to our favorite songs and I love the ability to have 4 mics on at once along with different sounds settings for each. The service and staff members were super friendly and accommodating. I have to commend the lovely host Zara and the young lady who served us for being so helpful and really providing above and beyond service for us! Based on my experience I would say this space is safe and welcoming to the queer and LGBT community and we will definitely be back. They made me and my party feel very welcome and that means a lot.

To be honest, I don't typically like karaoke BUT I loved Beatbox! The competition aspect made things way more fun 😈 Also, the space is gorgeous—so many thoughtful design choices. It was heads above any other karaoke experience I've had (for example, nothing was sticky! wow!). I'm so excited to come back and bring my friends.

I’ve been to this karaoke spot twice now, and it’s great. The space is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The night felt more like going to a cocktail bar than a typical karaoke spot, in the best way. The drinks were great (recommend the whisky sour, and had one non alc drink that was great too). I like that it isn’t just ‘straight into the karaoke room’ like most places - the lounge and bar outside the music rooms are feel elevated and like a bar I would go to for a drink before dinner in the WV. I'm sensitive to noise so it was nice to have a full fledged karaoke room for our group, and then the ability to step out for a drink in a genuinely fun, beautiful bar. The location is great too - right off the 1 and C is really nice.

We had an absolute blast at Beatbox! Everyone who walked into the room was so delighted by the style and it made it feel like a special night. The software is easy to use and there are 4 mics so lots of people can participate in each song. The furniture was comfy, food was good, drinks were great, and we felt really well taken care of by the team there.

I'm in a chapter of my life where I default to karaoke as the go-to group activity, and have been going about 2-3x a month for the past many months, across continents, and across boroughs here in NYC. I was so excited to read about this place, which boasts features like autotune, competitive karaoke games, and a full menu of bites and cocktails. We were there last night, which is only their 12th day of operation so certainly they're working out some kinks, but here's my feedback. There is a bit of a learning curve with the UI. You can have up to 4 singers playing any individual singing game (there are only 2 of these games) and you need to do things like assign singers to each song. While it wasn't overly complicated for our tech savvy group and the staff kept coming in to check that we figured out the system, it still ate up about 20 mins of our time figuring out this system for each song and each game, which they did not give back to us in terms of actual singing time. For what looks like such an expensive buildout, the sound quality was really not the best. You couldn't hear yourself singing too well over the sound of the music, even when you could adjust the volume of the mic. The autotune feature, which was among a few other voice alteration options was a cheap gimmick that got old very fast. The games were not very thoughtful or fun. The space was really clean and the stage made for really performances though. The prices of the drinks were outrageous. $23 for a not very nice glass of wine, more for cocktails. The snacks (we ordered pretzels with dip and popcorn) were all so overly salted we thought they couldn't possibly want us to eat them. Overall we had fun but the cost difference between a place like this and a normal karaoke spot was not made up for in terms of the quality of the experience. Completely false advertising and I will not be returning.
