When I saw the photo of this place I already can tell it’s a restaurant of real wholesome cooking, and not those pretentious place with fancy looking dishes with little flavour, but the complete opposite, and I wasn’t wrong.
They respected each ingredients and cooked to its perfection, I was lucky to walk by during their famous Sunday roast, ordered the roast pork, it’s was incredible. And I am a ramen chef myself knowing my way around pork and Cha Shu.
I was a little afraid of the sauce that it came with that it will overshadow the meat but no, it’s perfectly subtle and delicious, pairs perfectly with the rest of the dish. Same with the sauce for the veggies!
Their fried potato, idk how they do the layers, showcase the beautiful complex flavour of the potato itself.
And the cauliflower melt in your mouth with not overly rich cream sauce.
Everything is cooked spot on. Especially when you consider the amount of pork, beef and chicken they serve, they have to be precooked and ready, and heat up before serving, which can easily make the meat dry, but everything was tender and perfect.
This is one of the best cooking I’ve had so far in the UK!
Yes it’s €30, but it’s worth every single penny!
