"Following experience gained in leading restaurants such as the Nerua Guggenheim Bilbao, chef David García decided to return to his roots to give full expression to his creativity in this dining space with its very own personality. Fun and informal in style, Becook boasts a modern bistro-style interior with an open-view kitchen and an internationally inspired menu that showcases contemporary techniques and a mix of Oriental and urban touches. We can highly recommend the “Perfecto" salmon as well as the croquettes (make sure you ask which filling is on offer as it changes weekly depending on the availability of ingredients in the market). An interesting tasting menu is also available." - Michelin Inspector

We had a delicious lunch on New Year’s Eve. We did email without response but got lucky with a table for two. The atmosphere is unpretentious and the food excellent. Little English is spoken but the staff are polite and helpful. We chose three plates to share and all were perfectly designed and prepared. In short there is excellent value for money here and a delicious experience to be enjoyed.

Wonderful restaurant for lunch. Five of us wandered in at 3:30 and were seated immediately. We ordered 5 items to be shared amongst us, and wine. Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend eating here!

This restaurant has some good dishes and is definitely a good place for a special occasion. The fusion kitchen style is well executed, with some dishes being a bit too complicated or trying to hard for my taste. But all in all an interesting experience and worth a try! The prices are high but I guess you pay for the experience as well. The staff is attentive but not very friendly.

It was our second attempt to get into Becook. Booking is a real challenge, they do not answer email or their WhatsApp. Finally one of my colleagues from Spain booked on the phone (English of the waiter is basic). Finally we got in. The food is superb, creative, balanced. It was a real culinary pleasure. Strongly recommend the crème brûlée from fois gras, and from the deserts the gin tonic sorbet. Outstanding price/value ratio and real food fun. Do not even try to get there without booking, it is full.

I asked for a lasagna, I got a "new age lasagna" or something like that. It was extremely dry, and was not at all what I was expecting. My suggestion will be that if you put the name of a traditional dish you mention how that dish was modified. If I would have known what I was getting I wouldn't have asked for it.

The “Perfect” Salmon was one of the most disgusting dishes I’ve ever eaten. Salmon with the consistency and temperature of last nights oatmeal. The rice was hard, poorly matched flavors and all topped by a puddle of oil.

A hidden gem in León. Great restaurant fantastically run with a very tasty menu where you can find a perfect selection of appetizers, meats, fish and seafood cooked in a very delicate way. The wines are perfectly selected and better recommended by the staff. Great quality price balance.
