"Biscuits loaded with meats and sauces are as commonplace as mosquitoes in the South, but their deep pleasure hasn’t quite caught on in the Northeast beyond brunch. Texas-raised chef Treva Chadwell’s brightly colored, laidback cafe allows customers to build their own biscuit sandwiches. To get started, opt for egg or chicken-fried steak and throw on pimento cheese or sausage gravy — or any combination therein." - Paul Schrodt

This is my favorite brunch spot in Williamsburg. Tiny, cute interior, and an amazing biscuit every time. I'm so glad they deliver on Seamless too! No reservations, but I haven't waited for a table yet and have never seen anyone wait too long. Definitely get a biscuit, try their homemade jams, and order an Aunt Betty's Lemonade. 11/10

Food was outstanding. Delicious in every way and i wanted to eat everything I saw delivered by other customers (really brought out the hungry hippo in me). The staff was friendly, the place was extremely clean, I loved the friendly and comfortable decor. The tables were a bit small, but the place was warm. Pretty good bang for your buck. I'd definitely return. Get the Nettie. It's amazing. And their homemade ranch is fantastic.

Nice little comfy spot in Williamsburg. Server was nice & the food was delicious. I'm glad I found this lil gem. I had no reservation & got seated as soon as I got in. Plenty of items on the menu to choose from. Parking might be an issue but I found one quickly & nearby. I definitely recommend this lil spot.

A cozy place with nice food. We came in for breakfast on a Thursday and there were very few people. Quick and friendly staff.

Great service, phenomenal food and very nice decor!! Their biscuits, homemade ranch sauce and homemade jellies are soo good. I got the "chicken fried" chicken and it was very tasty and flavorful. I just happened to stumble upon this place today and I'm glad I did. It's safe to say that I will be visiting again soon.

First time here. Loved the atmosphere and the easy laid back tunes in the background. I ordered a "make it my way" biscuit with Egg, Bacon and Cheese. Yum! They gave me a veggie plate with creamy, but light tasting ranch dressing, while I waited. Grits to top it all off. The Coconut cake didn't make it all the way home. I took it to go but it looked so good I snuck in a bite in the car. The coconut cream frosting was smooth and creamy (another creamy?!) and the cake was moist. I will definitely be back to this place. The wait staff was very friendly and the owners are full of southern charm. They is good peoples!

The food was amazing. It started with the best homemade ranch and seasoned tortilla chips I have ever had. That was followed by our apple and raisin slaw that was tastefully tangy (and for someone who doesn't like coleslaw, I loved it); a biscuit with fried chicken, bacon, more of the superb ranch and lettuce (which was so good and looked so good another table ordered it after seeing ours); another biscuit, this time smothered with sausage gravy and a Sunnyside up egg; and grits. I don't know ow how, but somehow everything was just better. I get that it's easy to make a Sunnyside up egg, I've made more than my fair share, but the egg just was simply better than any egg I ever had. The place had wonderful Texan decor, and even the employees looked like a family (the dad was our waiter, I think, and his daughter was learning how to bus tables and wait on tables), which gave it a family feel that seemed so homey compared to other NYC diners. The service was good, not great. The waiter simply had too many tables, and one of our items was missed. However, a true test of any waiter/service is how they respond when things don't go perfectly. He was apologetic and immediately resolved our issue. That made the service good. I not only would wholeheartedly recommend this place, I would make it my preferred breakfast choice no matter where I was in NYC.
